Finally it’s time for APW to launch it’s tag division and there doesn’t seem to be a better place then St. Louis Missouri to do so. A city so rich in wrestling history seems to be the right place for APW to make history and of course that history is the first APW tag champion in over one year.
Four great tag teams will be looking to become the first team to claim the APW tag titles. Those four teams of course are Sports Nutz Axis of Awesome Red Shield Mafia and of course AKA. All four of these teams are teams that very well walk out of Shockwave with the tag titles. The question remains which of the teams will be the one to walk away with gold? If history has shown us anything this could very well turn into a two team on two team fight seeing as how Red Shield Mafia and Sports Nutz have been getting along recently. Of course with this being for the tag titles all bets are seemly off at this moment as it will be one team for themselves
Darren Harvey: Welcome folks to the gateway city. That’s right we are in a city deep in wrestling history. St. Louis Missouri to be exact.
Johnny Chase: That’s right Darren. We are here for Shockwave a PPV that will witness the crowning of the first APW tag champions since January of 2009. Yes it has been over one year since we saw that tag titles in APW and come Shockwave the titles will make there return to the company and one of four teams will walk away with the tag titles.
Darren Harvey: That’s right Johnny, We could also witness the first female world champion as Level One defends against Sally Talfourd. These two have of course had there own sorted problems as Sally got a shot at Level One and has been looking forward to getting that title belt.
Johnny Chase: We’ve also got two other title matches as Crazy Joe defends the xtreme title and Shaun Kilgore defends the Overdrive title. Kilgore will face Bryan Payne and Joe will taker on Victor Hades. This should indeed one hell of as title match. Both of them should be.
Darren Harvey: Of course they will be. This is after all APW. This will be a night that people within the company look at and remember for years to come.
Commercial Break
We return from the commercial break as we see Assassin & Slade standing outside of a hotel in downtown St. Louis both men have taken the time to come down early and get a sense for what Shockwave is going to be like. Of course both men will be looking to capture another set of tag titles for there collection
But of course three other teams will be looking to have a say in that Sunday and as we all know anything can and usually does happen when it comes to a PPV
Main Man: So it’s here. The chance for us to walk out and become APW tag champions. Of course you know not everyone is going to just let us walk out with whatever we want.
Assassin: Of course I know that, Hell I’m surprised we haven’t ended up in a hospital bed already after Sports Nutz & Red Shield have been up to. Of courser you know we really can’t trust Axis either I mean there going to be after the same thing we are.
Main Man: Of course I know that. Hell I’m looking forward to it. Cause no one is going to be able to jump anyone it’s going to be a straight up match and frankly I don’t think Red Shield or Sports Nutz can in straight up.
Assassin: You know you might be on to something there, I mean it’s been nothing more then constant attacks and backstabbing so what makes it seem like anything is going to be any different. Those four are nothing mope then thugs and you know how we deal with thugs.
Slade nods as he smiles looking at Assassin
Main Man: Of course I do. We wipe them out plain and simple. After all we know what it is we want and that’s the tag titles. Sure we’re going to face some competition in this match but it’s nothing that we can’t get over.
Assassin: Of course after all we’ve got the experience on our side. We’ve got the talent and hell we’ve just got it all. No one is going to stop us. Not some group of thugs who think there bad. Or a couple of overweight geezers who frankly need to go back to the gym and work out there problems. Now of course Axis is different. They have the talent and of Biggs is the GM so that doesn’t help us out all that much. But we’ve dealt with problems like that before it’s just how it is. The AKA will always stand tall and fight the good fight that’s just our thing.
Main Man: Your right. We’ve got our thing and they have there’s we want those tag titles. And were not going to just sit back and let them go by the way side. Hell if we were going to do that then we should be shot plain and simple. Those other three jokers are in for one hell of a surprise when they get in the ring with us. They think they’ve seen the AKA as a joke and whatever but were not. We are the best tag team in wrestling. And come Shockwave were going to prove it. We will walk out and put on a show for the fans. And when were done were going to walk out the APW tag champions plain and simple.
Assassin: Your right Slade it’s time to put up or shut up. And were putting up cause we will walk out of St. Louis with the tag team titles plain and simple.
