[The scene opens in Branden Harvey's living room. He is sitting on the couch with his two year old son, James, sleeping in his lap. He looks at the camera and begins to speak.]
Harvey: This Sunday, I will be in a Battle Royal to determine which two wrestlers will go on to compete for the APW Xtreme Championship. I am here to tell you that I have that match won. None of the other wrestlers can compete with me. I am learning new Battle Royal tactics from Blade. And, at One Night in Hell, I will use those tactics. It is time to talk about my opponents. We will go through them one by one.
I will start with Assassin. Assassin, you and I have already been in a match together. As I recall, I lost the match. In fact, I was in the ring with you when the match ended. You did not, however, pin me, nor did you make me submit. How does a DQ win make you feel, Assassin? I was in control of the match and my partner, Eric Steel, low blowed you to cause a DQ. You did not beat me because you can not beat me.
Second is Slade Craven. Slade, you remind me of a Teen Titans character. Deathstroke was a worldwide threat until the Teen Titans came along. In this match, Slade, you are Deathstroke, a threat to win the match. But I am the Teen Titans, the one that you can not beat, no matter how hard you try.
Third is Reid Jackson. Reid, you and I have never had a match. That is not surprising since neither of us have been in APW for that long. But what I have seen of you is impressive. You are good. There is just one problem. At One Night in Hell, you are in a match against me. And this Battle Royal is mine.
Fourth is Streets Wilson. Streets, you have been in APW for a long time. You are a former APW Xtreme Champion. The winners of this match will face off for the Xtreme Championship. Streets, I respect you. I wish you the best in APW. This Battle Royal, however, is not yours to win. You will fall like the rest.
Fifth is John Green. John, you have been in APW since the beginning. I have watched you in APW before I made it here. You are a former APW World Heavyweight Champion. That is impressive. That is my goal in APW. I do not want you to lose this Battle Royal. I want you to win it alongside me. I to compete against you one on one in a Ladder Match. However, it is every man for himself and I do not plan on helping you win the match. If I am in the Ladder Match with you, good. If not, oh well. I am going to win anyway.
Sixth is Diamente Valentine. Diamente, you and I faced off at Shockwave. Do you remember that match, Valentine? I do. I remember it in detail. I was in control of the match, getting ready to hit what is now called the Sonic Boom, and your buddies interfered and helped you win the match. This match is every man for himself. You will have no help. Remember Shockwave? It is time for revenge.
Seventh is J.R. Kingston. Kingston, you are a great tag team wrestler. But that is all you will ever be. You will not be successful as a singles wrestler. I guarantee it.
Eighth is Billy Shea. Billy, this is your first match in APW. From what I hear, you are not bad. You are a fighter. Oh, look at this. You a re a bushido warrior. Very impressive. This should be interesting. Billy, you need to honor the fact that I am going to win. You should be loyal to me. You need to respect me. You, Shea, will not win your debut match.
Ninth is Gordie James. Gordie, you are another that will be competing in their first APW match at One Night in Hell. I hear your life sucks. That is why you are wrestling. If you are not here because you love the business, you will not succeed. I understand that you are not afraid. Probably because of the formerly mentioned life suckatood. You do not have anything to lose anyway. You need to be afraid. I hear the Battle Royal is your worst match. Well, at One Night in Hell, you are facing your most difficult opponent in your worst match. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Tenth is Flame. Flame is another wrestler that is making his debut at One Night in Hell. What is this? Rookie night? Flame, I hear you are a pagan priest. You are also a witch. Am I supposed to be afraid? Are you going to use magic against me in the Battle Royal? Wow. You know mixed martial arts, as well. You have held 25 Championships prior to joining APW. Of course, that means you have lost 25 Championships, as well. Flame, Vincent, no amount of magic, combat training, or titles can save you from me.
Finally, we come to the mystery opponent. I do not know who he is. That means I can not prepare for him. Does that scare me? A little bit. I like to be prepared. But it does not change the result of the match. Mystery man, when you mess with the best, you fall like the rest.
So, now we have established that I am going to win the Battle Royal. None of my opponents can stand against me. Not on this night. I am a new man. I will not lose the Battle Royal.
But there is another match at One Night in Hell. There is a Ladder Match. The winners of the Battle Royal will face off in a Ladder Match for the Xtreme Championship. It will be my first Ladder Match. I am looking forward to it. I plan on winning.
I have already stated that I would prefer John Green to be my opponent here. That is because of his accomplishments in APW prior to One Night in Hell. But rest assured, it does not matter who I face. Whoever it is will have the same fate as everyone else in the Battle Royal. I know I will win.
So, it comes down to this. "Supersonic" Branden Harvey against eleven other men to win his first title in APW. The APW fans have a treat. these two matches will be great to see. But the end will be predictable. The Ladder match will end with me, Branden Harvey, holding the Xtreme Championship belt over my head, the new APW Xtreme Champion. In Blade I trust.
[Suddenly, James wakes up and begins to cry.]
Harvey: My son is awake. Get out of here.
