We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. This was meant to be.

Rainbow Bridge

*The scene opens to the colored lights of the Rainbow Bridge at night as Criss Cassidy is seen running across dressed in all black from his hoodie to his shoes. Several cars fly pass as Cassidy quickly approaches and the cameraman stays infront of him. Criss keeps the hood covering his head as he looks into the camera and keeps his pace*
Criss Cassidy: This was meant to be, I came into the world knowing that nothing is for free. Going in this game with a full head of steam, gonna leave this place when I achieve all my dreams. Don't worry about the wicked. Don't envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon will fade away. Like springtime flowers, they soon will wither. I on the otherhand, trust in the Lord and do good. For I will live safely in the land and continue to prosper. I take delight in the Lord, and he will give me my heart's desires. And right now I only desire one thing..that's being the best wrestler in APW. Point blank, period. I wanna be known amongst the greats and have people putting me on a plateau next to the likes of Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Babe Ruth. I wanna be a legend..and it's gonna take one night in hell for me to do so.
*Cassidy continues running across the bridge as the moon can be seen in the background shining down above him*
Criss Cassidy: I know that I'm a force to be reckoned with, you can bring all the guys in that you want but there is only one Criss Cassidy. When I get into that ring you better be paying attention..or you might get crucified. I'm not gonna hold anything back. I have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. Sally Talford has her number one ranking to look after, Level-One is the man holding the gold. Mark Mania and Havok are two men looking to make their mark and Young Mannie. Well..
*Criss suddenly stops in his tracks as the cameraman is still backing up. The camera zooms in on Cassidy who has a confused look on his face*
Criss Cassidy: I guess Young Mannie still has that Swisher Sweets sponsership to fall back on.
*A grin appears on Cassidy's face as he continues on running across the Rainbow Bridge*
Criss Cassidy: For the wicked are about to be destroyed in an Elimination Chamber. In a little while, they will disappear. Though you look for them, they will be gone. And I will be the only one left standing, possessing the land and living in prosperous security. Even though the evil spy on the godly, trying to gain any advantage they can on me. The Lord will not let them succeed, he has honored me and you will see the wicked get destroyed. I myself have seen it happen, proud and evil people thriving like mighty trees. But when I looked again they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them! Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future lies before them. But the wicked will be destroyed, they have no future. The Lord saves the godly, he is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him. I will find that shelter in the middle of one of the most dangerous chain link structures man has ever created. That's right, God's greatest gift will be inside a man-made kingdom, where only one wrestler can get the crown...HEY! WATCH OUT!!
*Suddenly the cameraman falls back as they come across the Shibuya crossing with Criss Cassidy standing amidst the hundreds of people in the street. Criss reaches out and helps the cameraman up as he slides the hood from his head and looks toward the lens*
Criss Cassidy: In a crowd of people I stand out, so don't be surprised to see my outperform my competitors. I know you see me shinin', elimination chamber is a jungle so that makes me the lion. I'm the Second Coming of God, so it'll look like I'm not even tryin', so many bodies on the mat look like the army was firin'. You hear that? Sounds like police siren's, coming to get me 'cause in that ring I'm just too violent. Talking a big game, Level-One gon' go silent, talking about big game? Sally Talford, she's the finest. Time to go hunting, put her head up on the mantle, Young Mannie puffin' blunts, it's time to make you an example. In that ring I'll be looking like I'm Rambo, firing shots at my enemies never running out of ammo.
*The hood from Cassidy's jacket comes back over his head as Criss turns around and quickly gets lost in the crowd as the scene fades to black*

*The scene opens to inside a river canoe with Criss Cassidy sitting opposite of the camera as they sail down the moat outside the palace. Criss is dressed in a black trench coat as he keeps his head down and begins to speak*
Criss Cassidy: I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing and for one night in hell, they will hear my hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what I will have done and be astonished. With all the odds against me, somehow I'll come out victorious and that means the APW Heavyweight Title strapped around my waist. Then they will put their trust in the Lord, after I showcase his greatest strength.
*Cassidy slowly brings his head up as his eyes lock on with the camera lens*
Criss Cassidy: That strength is me..the Second Coming Criss Cassidy. I'm everything God says I am, times 12. There ain't nobody on this planet like me, no comparison, no equal. I'm the next level to Level-One, I'm the reason why the Last Magician is gonna run out of tricks. The sins of Nathaniel Havok will leave him humilated and turned back in disgrace. For only true humility and fear of the Lord will lead to riches, honor, and long life. Not even one night in hell can save you from being crucified Nathaniel. I hope Young Mannie prays that I have mercy on him for his skills are outmatched and his swagger is outdated. It's gonna take a little more than some kush to get higher then me. It's all about respect and if Mark Mania doesn't want to give it to me, I have no fear in taking it from him. I hope you keep your eyes open Mania because I'm gonna shine the light on you real good. You're gonna realize that Mania Enterprises will never be bigger than the Kingdom of God. Your company will soon die and be forgotten but my legacy and the fortress I built will last forever.
*The river canoe slowly passes by the guard tower and East Gate to the Imperial Palace as Cassidy turns his head and looks up toward it. Criss slowly pulls out a bible from his trench coat as he opens it and reads out a scripture*
Criss Cassidy: Job 34:1. Listen to me, you wise men. Pay attention, you who have knowledge. Just as the mouth tastes good food, the ear tests the words it hears. So let us discern for ourselves what is right, let us learn together what is good. For Job has said 'I am innocent, but God has taken away my rights. I am innocent, but they call me a liar. My suffering is incurable, even though I have not sinned.' See everyone has their own opinion about me, but none of them know me. And before you judge me, look at your situation and see where you at. Clear your problems up before you worry about mine..because I'm good. God gave me all this talent for a reason, you think I'm stupid enough to let it go to waste? Hell no, I'm the future here and before you can go to the future, you gotta forget about the past. These five wrestlers in my way right now, they're the past and present..it's 2010 boys and girls, welcome to the future. I will defend my kingdom against these ungodly people, I will rescue this federation from these unjust liars. Sending out your light and your truth my Lord, let me guide them. For it is I who will lead us to victory over our enemies, it is I who will humble those who hate us. For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us immeasurably great glory that will last forever! So we don't look at the trouble we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.
*A sinister grin appears on the face of Cassidy as he looks back down and lifts the hood from his trench coat over his head*
Criss Cassidy: Right now I'm young, just surviving the times. Waiting for my moment I am destined to shine. Now that I've been put into the spotlight I refuse to disappoint. I know what I can do in that ring and it's been proven that I'm more than a worthy challenger. Now it's time to put on a show on the grandest of stages. The Tokyo Dome, the mecca of wrestling in Japan. I couldn't ask for more. Lock me in the cage with these five wolves, because I'm a young lion looking to take some new territory. Nobody gives me a chance at winning this one, and that's the worse dishonor. Level-One believes that I'm not ready for this battle, but I would never retreat from my enemies. I'm ready for war and in my eyes, you five are like sheep waiting to be slaughtered. It's insaulting to hear them say I'm just a replacement, I'm a far bigger threat John Green ever was and it's scary to think what may happen if they keep their back turned to me. I don't mind being the one everyone isn't worried about but five minutes into the match everyone is gonna feel my presence and you all are going to have to pay attention. I'm not in this for hype, I'm here to be the best wrestler APW has ever seen and for one night in hell, you will see heaven shining down apon me.
*Cassidy looks as up they pass under Nijubashi, the Double Bridge that connects to the front gate. The river canoe continues on and stops on the side of the moat as Cassidy climbs out and begins to walk to the front of the bridge*
Criss Cassidy: Ever since Overdrive it's been day in and day out, constantly thinking about that elmination chamber and how to survive it. My main focus is showing up on pay-per-view night and being extraordinary. I'm gonna steal the show and that's what it'll take me to become APW heavyweight champion. This is the reason why I got into the sport, this is why I trained so hard in becoming a well-oiled machine. God has blessed me with his power and now I must use it. I cannot disappoint, or I will be valued as nothing at all. I refused to be mocked and disrespected like I don't belong. On October 24th, it'll we be the night I make my mark on this federation and ensure my place at the top.
*The view from the bridge is breathtaking as Cassidy makes his way across, stopping in the middle to take in the scenery*
Criss Cassidy: I just know it's my time, if at one night in hell someone is gonna shock the world, it would be the Second Coming of God. Doesn't that sound like destiny? I can hear the taunts of my mockers already, I will not be made the butt of their jokes. I must tear through my opponents so they learn to fear the Second Coming. All I see are vengeful enemies you must be covered with darkness and death. Let my opponents collapse in the dust and remain lying face down in the dirt. I'm gonna show that the APW is my new home, I'm here to stay and if talk wrestling you better know my name..because I'm who's next.
*Cassidy turns and walks toward the front gate of the palace as it's mesmerizing apperance stops him. Cassidy looks over his surroundings and turns back to the camera*
Criss Cassidy: God has put me in this position for a reason so it is time for me to put on my sword and come out as the mighty warrior his majesty has made me. My arrows will be sharp, piercing my enemies' hearts. Their nations will fall before you, lying down beneath my feet. Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. Your royal power will be showcased in a main event that everyone is anticipating. Therefore I must stand out and there is only one way to do so.
*The doors to the gate slowly open as Cassidy steps through them and turns around back toward the camera*
Criss Cassidy: We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth for someone else to spend. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. Rescue me from my rebellion, for even fools mock me when I speak. I am silent before you, I won't say a word. For my punishment is from you. Please don't punish me anymore! I am exhausted by the blows from your hand. When you discipline people for their sins, their lives can be crushed like the life of a moth. Human existance is as frail as breath. Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don't ignore my tears. For I am your guest, a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me. Spare me so I can smile again before I am gone and exist no more.
*The gate slowly begins to close as Criss slides the hood back over his head and slowly makes his way deeper into the palace as the scene fades to black*
