THUD~!!
Ambers' body crashes to the thinly padded floor in a harsh way, but she regains her feet quickly, a stark contrast from what she would've done a little over a month ago, and a damn impressive contrast at that. Something like that used to take the wind right out of her lungs and leave her grounded for upwards of five minutes... unless, of course, one of her trainers were to pick her back up and do it again, now, however, she barely flinches.
She turns to lock eyes with her trainer, she'd gotten two more trainers since her first two, Joel and Sasuke, her new trainers were named Sean and Franz... and shortly after Amber began training with all of them together, did she realize the different methods and qualities they had in their training methods.
Joel was a mountain of a man, even bigger than Orue's assistant Brick, who himself stood at an impressive six-foot-eight, this man was at least seven feet. The man always dressed slovenly and never seemed to shave, and he was the definition of brutality when it came to training, he showed Amber the hard way of everything involved in a fist fight, every dirty trick and every short cut... he also hit like a mule, Amber remembered waking up on the mats on more than one occasion from taking one of Joel's punches.
Sasuke had a different, more exotic look to him than the rest of 'The Amber Alert’s’ trainers, obviously hailing from the far east, whereas Joel was brutal in his training methods, Sasuke was just cruel, he loved every minute of pain that he put Amber through, even once goaded her into a handshake, then applied an armbar which almost popped Amber' arm right out of it's socket. He also happened to know several takedowns which he used liberally ANY time Amber managed to gain her footing during a training session.
The first of her two new trainers, Sean, had to be the most pleasent of the bunch, he taught Amber all of these strange moves, some of which she'd been watching on DVDs that Orue had given to her. And whenever she screwed up, Sean never beat the shit out of her, he just went through the motions of a maneuver slowly so that Amber would understand it better. Joel and Sasuke never seemed very pleased with Sean for being as nice as he was, but they never did seem to get at odds over it, at least not while Amber was around.
Franz was a strange one, in the fact that he wasn't nice, but he wasn't exactly a mean person, just always dead serious. Another funny thing was that Franz never once hit her, instead the man had opted to take Amber to the ground and immobilize her, forcing Amber to say mercy... that was the only thing that got Franz to break any of his holds, other than escaping from them on her own power, and Amber had only been able to do that MAYBE three times out of all her training sessions...
... Still, right now her focus was on Sasuke, who stood there with a smartass grin waiting for 'The Amber Alert’ to make her next move, Amber rushes in and feints a kick to Sasuke's left, the Asain, moves right into Amber' strike zone and the she swings full out. Amber isn't quite sure what happens, all she knows is that she's currently airborne... until reality crashes back to the mats, right along with the rest of her body.
Amber lands awkwardly on her head and folds like a chair, her momentum keeps her tumbling over until she finally comes to a stop face down on the mats. She doesn't move right away, instead opting to take a mental inventory of her body... hands move? Check. Feet move? Check. Neck move? ... Still processing...}
Joel: Good going Dim Sum, you killed her.
Sasuke: She is not dead, white man-
Sean: Yeah, OK, crippled then, Jesus what the hell did you do that for? We're supposed to train her, not break her neck!
Amber feels a pair of strong hands on her arms and she's hoisted to her feet, she registers out of the corner of her eye that Orue's assistant Brick has just entered the gymnasium... no wait, Orue is with him... and a cameraman as well.}
Orue: What's going on?
Sasuke: Amber took a tumble.
Orue merely shrugs at this, while Brick gives the Asian man a cross and untrusting look. Amber merely looks about in confusion, not really being able to understand the exchanges being had between all the people in the room... that and her head felt foggy after being tossed on it.
Orue: All right, you *Points to the cameraman* stay there... you five... *Motions to all four of Amber' trainers and Brick*... get into a semi circle formation around Amber...
Amber looks over her shoulder to see everyone standing behind and around her, Brick and Sasuke stand directly beside each other, which was probably a bad idea, as Brick was glaring daggers at the Asian man while Sasuke just gave the bigger man a smug grin, Joel was at the other side of Amber, and the 'Amber Alert' surmised that Sean and Franz were probably standing behind her.
Orue: Alright... I want everyone staring in the direction of the camera and looking as stoic as possible...
Orue walks over to Amber and motions for her charge to hold her hand out, Amber complies, and in turn Orue hands the young woman her piercings. Amber never really knew what to make of the sharp metal objects, hell, when she first saw herself in the mirror wearing them she scared herself shitless... also, it really stung when she first got them, but for some reason Orue was adamant that she did... whatever, better to keep the woman happy. Amber grabs the metal objects and starts putting them through their respective piercings...
Orue steps up in front of the camera and takes an authoritative look, signalling the cameraman to start filming...
~ON CAMERA!!!!~
Orue: So... Asylum is coming up, and everyone is looking to shoot their mouths off in some sort of futile attempt to look tough and intimidate their opponents.
Orue takes a few steps back and sets her hand on Amber' shoulder, though the woman doesn't seem to recognize it, and instead chooses to look at the camera... her own hand resting on her neck, which appears to be bothering her...
Orue: Well, I'm here to inform both of the Amber Alert's opponents at the Pay Per View, Trinity Evans and Katrina “Arcadia” Olivetti, just how utterly useless these gestures are. First off, tough talking means nothing to Amber, why do you think I do all the talking for her? Because she's camera shy? No, because she chooses not to speak, that's why... then again, two foolish people like yourself barely know the nuances of said language yourselves...
Amber pops her neck then sighs in contentment, earning a sideways glances from Orue and a small chuckle out of Brick.
Orue: Another thing you should not attempt to do is intimidate Amber, because once again, it will not work... she isn't even intimidated by any of her trainers anymore, why should she be scared of you two little pre-pubescent inferiors? And you can scoff as you sit on your Ikea bought futons at home while you drink cheap whiskey from Dixie cups and say to yourself: "Wow, she's not intimidated by her trainers, who cares? They train her not wrestle her.." well, here's your opportunity to meet the group of violent men who beat life lessons into the young woman who will in turn, beat respect into the both of you.
The camera gets a good long look at all five men individually, ending at the seven foot plus Joel who grins maniacally at the camera while cracking his fingers, finally the view goes back to Amber and Orue.
Orue: All five of those men, one who's banned from active competition in the far east due to terminally injuring some of his pupils, one who bounces at biker bars for the past ten years of his life, an amateur wrestler and a pro wrestler, as well as my own associate, Brick... all five of them work with, and fight against Amber for five hours, everyday, a regiment which would make the late Stu Hart proud of because it's more intense than his own ‘Dungeon’. All five of them are helping to mold this unstoppable plague of violence... this 'Jade Statue' known as Amber...
Orue cuts off his sentence as he chuckles.
Orue: ... Be warned... she's nothing now... but slowly with each passing day, every time she trains... she will be an unbreakable monster, a barrier that will keep her away from the cancers that fools like Trinity Evans, and Katrina “Arcadia” Olivetti wreak upon the noble and the noteworthy... and when this young woman is ready... she shall come forth, a beautiful monster...
Orue's voice goes menacingly low as the camera zooms in on Ambers' face...
Orue: And then, it shall be the end of the inferior, for the ‘Alert’ will be unleashed...
The scene fades to black as we can hear six males laughing.
