There are good things and bad things about this. This may alienate some WEC fans. They're used to seeing their favorite fighters fight for free on the VS network...and now they have to pay $44.95? Also there's a clear gap in talent between WEC lightweights and UFC lightweights. Maybe a few could survive (Donald Cerrone, Ben Henderson, Kamal Shalorus, maybe even Jamie Varner) but the majority of the division won't last a year. The positives of the merger are that the lighter weight guys will get more exposure and the recognition that they've been missing for years..some of the best fights take place at 135 pounds. Not to mention that the event bonuses and fighter purses will be much, much, heftier than in WEC. For instance A fighter can earn $3,000 to $10,000 grand for Knockout of the Night in WEC, but could earn anywhere from $40,000 to $100,000 in the UFC. And with the increased revenue that going from five to seven weight classes will bring, that in itself is sure to increase. So i guess financially and exposurewise, this is awesome. But for some fighters and fans, this is going to suck.

I think for an adult male it's 4'10.
Anyway, a 5'4 male for example at anything above 150lbs would be considered obese.
When you quip, attempt to be at least informed ;D
