The holiday season it’s a season most people love because it’s a season of giving and a season where family & friends get together and enjoy each other’s company. For some people the holidays are about the shopping for others it’s about the football and then for those select few it’s about whatever they want it to be. For Slade Craven the holiday season is about remember the past year and reflecting upon it with wonder
Main Man: I love the holiday season. It’s a time I get up for. The Christmas lights the joy of seeing children opening up there favorite gifts and the hope they carry that Santa will bring them what they asked for. That’s what I love about the holiday season.
Main Man: Now as I’ve gotten older I’ve paid more attention to the younger kids. Making sure that there Christmas wishes are fulfilled. After all it’s about the kids right? I can say with the utmost certainty that Christmas is a time for giving and that’s what the Main Man is about.
Slade smiles he stares at several of the kids gathering around him all of them with there pens and pieces of paper all out waiting for him to sign them. Slade starts signing away each kids item as he hands them back after signing there item
Main Man: What? Don’t look at me like that I didn’t set this up. It just happened. I can’t help it if these kids love me after all I am Slade Craven.
Slade signs the final items handing them to the children as they all scatter after getting his signature as it’s now just Slade standing alone as his phone. Slade reaches into his pocket and pulls the phone out as he stares at the caller id for a moment before answering the phone
Main Man: What’s going on man? Yea I know where that’s at I can meet you there shortly. Alright give me ten minutes.
Slade hangs up the phone as he places it into his pocket and starts walking towards his car as he opens the car door climbing into the car as he starts the engine closing the door as he puts the car into gear and drives away heading off towards his meeting as the camera continues to focus on his car as the car’s lights start to fade into the distance
We return later in the day as we see The Bradley Center in the background as we see Slade Craven pulling up in a car as the car comes to a stop and sits idling for a few moments before finally Slade cuts the engine off as he opens the car door and climbs out of the car
Harvey: Welcome APW fans this is the holiday season and we are here in Milwaukee where this Sunday night it's Christmas Chaos.
Chase: That's right Harvey. We've got a tone of matches hell our opening match is for the tag titles. We've got a lot of crazy action and I'm sure that the fans will be loving every minute of it.
Harvey: I'm sure they will Chase. And the man that just pulled up has got a big title match on his plate. Slade Craven will be taking part in a four way match for the Xtreme title. Branden Harvey puts the strap on the line against Cid Phoenix Diamante Valentine & of course Slade Craven.
Chase: Harvey is going to be put to the test for sure. The question is can he walk away champion? Or will someone else walk away with his title belt?
Harvey: That’s a good question Chase. Any of these three men could walk away with the strap. And of course Harvey could shock us all and walk away with it. That’s just the nature of this match.
Chase: You have a point Harvey. This will be a great match for those four men not to mention the main event title match as well.
Harvey: The entire card is stacked from top to bottom. It’s going to be a great event and the fans here in Milwaukee will definitely go home happy because of this show.
Slade walks into the building empty handed as he’s not carrying a bag with him as we see no reaction on his face as he continues walking down the hallway catching the attention of everyone he passes as he walks by them
Chase: Something looks different about Slade. It’s almost as if he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.
Harvey: Now that you mention it he does seem a bit different. Maybe it’s the match. I mean it is a title match after all.
Chase: I’m not sure but it just seems strange that’s all.
Slade keeps walking on down the hallway as he bumps into Cindy Shannon whose talking with several people backstage about this week’s show
Main Man: Sorry I didn’t see you there.
Cindy turns around knowing whose behind her as she looks at Slade and shakes her head
Shannon: Excuse me guys.
Cindy grabs Slade’s hand as she walks away from the group towards a small door as she opens the door and walks in pulling Slade behind her as she turns the light on in the room and looks at Slade
Shannon: What’s wrong with you? You look like you’ve lost your best friend or something.
Slade shrugs as Cindy shakes her head
Shannon: You know if your not going to be of some help here I guess there’s nothing I can do.
Cindy turns towards the door opening it up as she glances back at Slade for a moment before walking out of the room closing the door behind her as Slade just stands there not moving or saying a word
Main Man: I…….
Slade looks around and doesn’t see Cindy standing in the room as he walks towards the door opening it up as he walks out of the room closing the door behind him. Slade starts walking down the hall passing by Cindy Shannon as she glances at him as he keeps walking on by
Chase: What’s going on here? There’s something going on.
Slade walks to the end of the hallway as he reaches the curtain leading out towards the arena Slade turns and looks back for a moment before shaking his head as he walks through the curtain as “The Way You Like It” comes over the PA as Slade walks through the curtain and walks down the ramp towards the ring
Slade keeps walking towards the ring not paying attention to the fans as he reaches the bottom of the ramp and stares at the ring Slade starts walking around the ring as he walks towards the announce table and stops as he ask for a microphone as Slade’s music begins to fade out. Slade stands in front of the announcers table as he looks at the microphone for a moment as both Harvey & Chase look at Slade not sure of what to say or do
Chase: Hey Slade are you alright?
Chase looks at Slade as he continues to just stand there looking at the microphone as we hear the crowd chanting Slade’s name as he continue to stand there until finally Slade climbs on top of the announce table and looks down at both Harvey & Chase before looking at the crowd
Main Man: Milwaukee Wisconsin one of my favorite towns. You always treat me good every time I come here and I have to say I appreciate it.
The crowd cheers as Slade continues on
Main Man: Now as I’m sure your all aware this Sunday I have a chance to claim the Xtreme title from Branden Harvey. The guy loves holding the gold and he wants to be loved by you people but it’s just not going to happen. After all you people are too smart for him. Harvey has the title but he’s not the only one I have to worry about.
Main Man: There’s also Cid Phoenix & Diamante Valentine and there going to be looking to take that gold away from Branden just like me. But there not going to have you people on there side like me. You see I’ve always had the people behind me no matter how I treated them or what I said to them you always were behind me.
The crowd cheers again as Slade cracks a smile as he jumps off the announce table and walks up towards the barricade shaking hands with several of the fans
Main Man: It’s people like you guys who have made me want to put on a great show every time I came out to the ring. And Sunday night won’t be any different. I’m going to walk out here and put on one hell of a show for you people. After all it is the holiday season. The time for giving right?

Main Man: Yea I love this time of the year because you get to see just how much people want to give and care for one another. It’s a great time to just be happy. To be with the ones you love. And to see the smiles on the faces of all of the children as they open there gifts from Santa.
Slade turns and walks towards the ring climbing up onto the apron as he turns and looks back towards the crowd before climbing into the ring
Main Man: This Sunday night is going to be one hell of a show. It’s going to be a show that everyone of you will love and it’s going to keep you on the edge of your seat. Personally I’m looking forward to the main event. I want to see if Sally can beat Level and keep her strap.
Main Man: And speaking of straps Branden you have a title you need to be worried about. You seem more worried about getting noticed by the people then keeping that title. And hey that’s fine you want to be noticed by these people I get it. I really do. The point I’m about to make is this you better have eyes in the back of your head cause there are three guys looking to take your strap for themselves.
The crowd cheers again as they starts chanting Slade’s name
Main Man: I’m not the only one looking to take you down Harvey But I’m sure you know that already. Or at least you will come Sunday night. I can say that this Sunday is going to be a night no one will forget. Because there will be a new Xtreme champion in APW.
Harvey: Sounds like Slade really wants that title belt.
Chase: Yea I get that feeling as well.
Main Man: Come one way or another Harvey you will drop that title. And I hope I’m the one who takes it from you. After all we had an epic ladder match last month. And I’m sure this match won’t be any different from last month’s well maybe just a little. Because I will walk away with your title belt Harvey. Sunday night is going to be a big night Harvey because win or lose this is going to be my final match.
Harvey: Wait a minute. Did I just hear that right?
The crowd goes silent as Slade drops his head
Main Man: That’s right boys & girls this is the final stand for the Main Man. Because win or lose after Christmas Chaos I am going to RETIRE FROM APW
Chase: I heard the same thing you did Harvey and I’m stunned.
Harvey: This has to be a joke. He can’t do this right now can he?
Slade stands in the middle of the ring with his head bowed to the crowd as he drops the microphone raising his head up slowly as he walks to the ring ropes climbing through them as he climbs out of the ring. Slade stops and looks at the fans as there pleading for him not to go Slade walks towards the barricade and shakes hands with several fans before walking away as he walks up the ramp as the crowd seems torn as Slade reaches the top of the ramp turning towards the ring as he waves towards the fans before turning back around and walking through the curtain as our feed ends
