[The scene opens in the locker room. It is about a half hour before the biggest Asylum since the reopening of IWC. It is the biggest because of the Tap Out Tournament. It's a one night tournament to crown the first Tap Out Champion. "Supersonic" Branden Harvey is sitting on a bench. He begins to speak.]
Harvey: Tonight, I am competing in the Tap Out Tournament. Me, a guy that has one submission move in his move set, is competing for the Tap Out Championship. I'd say management was out to get me but I don't think Reginald's that smart. But it doesn't matter. I am smart enough and talented enough to win this tournament and claim my prize, the Tap Out Championship.
My first opponent is Chris Cyrus. Chris, you think you're better than me? I was not conceived in iniquity like you. My mother wasn't a prostitute. You probably have some sexually transmitted disease that you got from your mom. Just don't bleed on me. You used to be a backyard wrestler. That just shows how intelligent you are. I mean, you are anti hardcore, so your solution is to join a hardcore fed like IWC. That shows intelligence and foresight right there.
You have had a pretty successful career in IWC so far. At Massacre on 34th St., you beat Jason Royce. Wow. That takes a ton of talent. I wish I cold beat Jason Royce.
[Harvey takes a minute to contemplate the past.]
Harvey: Wait. I DID beat Jason Royce, didn't I? On the last Asylum before Massacre. Huh? So your claims to fame are winning the Xtreme Championship and beating Jason Royce. Both of which I've done.
I admit that I'm a nobody in the business. But you thnk that just because you're bigger than me, you're going to win? I've beaten several people who were bigger than me. Just ask Victor Hades. I have asubmission move in my move set, Chris. Albeit, only one. That 70's Hold. But it doesn't take submission holds to wear body parts down. I can wear you down with my regular move set and latch on That 70's Hold when you're worn out and BOOM, match is over. If losing to me will put you in a position to never get another shot at the Insane Championship, Chris, prepare to have a drought of gold.
But Chris may not be my only opponent this week. If I beat him, I make it to the semi-finals where I face Anthony James or "The Libertine" Delilah. I know that at least one of them can compete in the ring. But I am not afraid of either of them. I know that I can beat them both.
Anthony James, you are an enigma to me. I don't know a lot about you. What I do know is you've been competing for ten years and have no accolades to show for it. How good can you be? You should meet my friend, Blade.
James, you had your first match in IWC at Massacre. You were even lucky enough for it to be a title opportunity. But you lost. So far, you've shown me nothing but failure. If you face me, we'll see how good you really are.
Delilah, you are a former porn star turned wrestler. Some people would find that comforting. "She can't be that good," they'd say. "She was a porn star." But I've watched your matches.I've seen wat you can do in the ring.
At Massacre, you beat Arcadia in a hellacious match. And you did something that Trevor Blackwell and an exploding car couldn't. You took her out if action. But, Delilah, I'm not afraid of you. Because, if you face me, you will tap or snap.
But that isn't all. If I make it through that match, I'll compete in the finals. By then I'll be tired and sweaty. But so will my opponent. I guess that's why they call it a tournament. There are four possibilities for opponents I have for the finals. They are "Superstar" Bobby Bodaious, "The Hardcore Princess" Kristina Blackwell, Madok Mortalis, and "The Barbed Wire Buzzsaw" Damian Dimitri.
Bobby Bodacious, you have excelled everywhere. Except NSCW. That was an utter failure. I am embarrassed that I worked for that company. I almost put on a mask after it went under so people wouldn't recognize me.
Bobby, at Massacre you faced me and a few others in a Ladder Match to crown the first Suicidal Champion. Neither of us won and the consolation prize is this tournament. Don't you feel special? I have news for you, Bobby. You're not winning tonight either.
I saw you on your yacht talking about this tournament. Except you didn't really talk about the tournament. You seemed overly comcerned with your match against Kristina Blackwell. Why focus so much on a Blackwell? There are others in the tournament. One of them is me. And you need to prepare for me or fear me.
Kristina Blackwell, you claim to wear the pants in the Blackwell family. If that were true, wouldn't you go for the Insane Championship and leave Trevor to try for one of the other titles? You don't wear the pants in the family, Kristina. You're just another one of Trevor's lackeys. It's damn true.
At Massacre, you were in a match with myself, Bobby, and Rico. My teammate, Rico, took the gold home. But you, Kristina, put on a good showing in the match. I'm not underestimating your talent or your insanity. But tonight, I WILL make you tap.
Madok Mortalis, you seem to like weapons. That's a good preference here in IWC. Just not in this mach. And if you think your lover, Pence Weatherlight, will be able to help you, think again. I will own you tonight juist like I will own Pence at Survive and Conquer.
You haven't done well in IWC so far. And that was when you were allowed to use weapons. Tonight, there will be no weapons. There will just be two competitiors in the ring. The first man to give up, tap out, loses. Madok, I promise you that it won't be me.
Finally, I come to Damian Dimitri. Damian, you and I have history, don't we? After all, you attacked me right after my debut here in IWC. You attacked me again during a backstage interview. You beat me in my first match here. You beat me again in a Tag Match two weeks later. It doesn't look good for me, does it?
But I've learned a lot since then, Damian. I've learned a lot about you. And I've learned a lot about the Blackwells. The Blackwells are nothing but a bunch of bullys. How do you deal with a bully? You stand up to it. Damian, you will TAP! TAP! TAP!
Vola. You have the Tap Out Tornament. Eight competitors. Only one winner to be crowned Tap Out Champon. And that winner will be the supersonic one, Branden Harvey.
[Harvey gets up and walks off camera as the scene fades.]
