Its time for another blog from everyone’s favorite wrestler. The Master of the Headlock, Chris Cyrus.
Its been a while since I was last in the ring, but I’m rested and ready to go for the special Monday Edition of IWC Asylum. A big main event, mainly because I’m in it. It will be Ebon and Myself taking on the team of Jimmy Chambers and Branden Harvey. Two men I’ve been in the ring with. Two men I’ve beaten and two men that I will destroy in the ring at Asylum.
First, lets look at Branden Harvey. We fought in the Tap Out Championship Tournament. He was my first opponent that night. And how did I beat Branden? Well, Branden’s inexperience showed and he got himself disqualified. But the best part of that match, because that was a tap out tournament, I put Branden in the sharpshooter until he tapped out, because that’s what the fans came to see, people tapped out. And you know, the fans still booed me. I don’t get it. Fans, either make up your mind in what you want to see, or shut the hell up and stop throwing your empty beer cups at me
And James Chambers. A Man I have my eye close on because he holds what I want, the IWC Insane Heavyweight Title. Jimmy and I traded victories over one another. The first time, well, James underestimated me and I took the victory from him. The 2nd time was at Massacre on 34th Street where after a burling Fans Bring the Weapons match I had, Jimmy got the best of me since his Battle Royal match was less painful on his body. But now Jimmy gave me an ultimatum for this next show. He wants me to pick a time and place for our rematch or else.
Jimmy will learn soon enough when that will be. But at Asylum, Ebon and I are going to make a statement and we’re going to do it at the expense of Jimmy and Branden. Branden will be Jimmy’s downfall, and Jimmy will be Brandens. When you have a team of an inexperienced Wrestler, and a Champion who underestimates his opponents, then you have the result of disaster. Ebon has never beaten Jimmy so I know Jimmy isn’t thinking much of Ebon, but tonight, all that changes when Ebon and I walk out of the IWC Arena the winner and we leave Jimmy and Branden laying in the ring without them knowing what hit them.
So for all you fans who are going to be in attendance for the show, I hope your ready to witness the biggest beating that Branden Harvey and James Chambers will ever witness. There’s no fucking for this. At Asylum, its all business. Ebon and I, got something special in store for the everyone tonight and I don’t care if you fans love it or hate it, because what we plan on doing will do nothing but prove that Ebon and I are just SIMPLY…AWESOME

The scene opens up outside the IWC Arena in Long Island New York. We see the IWC Faithful lined up outside, standing in the cold, bundled up, waiting for the doors to open. A Car Drives by the line up and its Chris Cyrus behind the wheel. The fans show their support for Chris by flipping him off as he drives by. Chris drives behind the building and parks his car near the back door entrance. Chris exits his car and grabs his bags from his back seat before making his way into the building. As he walks in, he see’s the final touches of the ring being set up. Branden Harvey is in the ring tightening up the ropes. Chris looks over and thinks to himself
Its great to see these noobies pay their dues in setting up the ring. I should be getting him to carry my bags
Chris heads straight to the back where he is suddenly cut off by IWC Interview, Jack Spade
Jack: Hey Chris, can I get a word with out about your match here tonight
Chris: Looks like I don’t have a choice now do I.
Chris puts his bags on the ground as he gets ready for the interview
Jack: In tonight’s Main Event, your set to team up with Ebon to take on the team of James Chambers and Branden Harvey. What kind of game plan do you and Ebon have to come out victorious tonight?
Chris: Like I’m going to tell you our plan. Do you think I’m stupid. Jimmy is probably hiding somewhere close by listening to this interview. Let me just say that for the past week, Ebon and I have been working on a game plan. But there’s something you fail to realize. I got the best Tag Team Partner in the world. Ebon alone has won over 30 tag team titles. And I, I was part of one of the greatest team in wrestling history with the Axis of Awesome. What kind of tag team wrestling resume does Jimmy and Branden have? I rest my case
Jack: A few weeks ago, Jimmy said he’s willing to have a rubber match with you, since you both hold a victory over one another. Have you put any thought into when you want this match to happen?
Chris: I’ve thought about it. I’ll let Jimmy know when I’m good and ready.
Jack: You do remember that Jimmy wanted an answer here tonight right?
Chris: What makes Jimmy think he can tell me what to do. Like I said, I’ll let him know when I’m damn well and ready.
Jack: What are your thoughts on Branden Harvey. He’s young, and is looking to make a name for himself.
Chris: Branden has his whole career to make a name for himself. This match is Branden’s biggest match of his life. He’ll be in the ring with an APW Triple Crown Champion. The longest Reigning APW Xtreme Champion, a title he held, but I made famous. Branden’s greatest accomplishment is winning the APW Xtreme Title, but tonight, he’s going to see why I was the greatest APW Xtreme Champion of all time. Branden has big hopes and dreams, but tonight isn’t Branden’s night. Branden has just as much chance at getting the win in this match, as he did in the Survive and Conquer match last night. The guy gets his ass whooped in the match, not lasting long and I should be afraid of him? Please. Two years ago, I made it to the final 4 of the Survive and Conquer match. Until either Branden, OR Jimmy does better, its safe to say that I’m the best wrestler in this match hands down
Jack: But Jimmy is the Insane Heavyweight Champion, technically, that makes him the best.
Chris: Ha Ha, look at you Jack, you made a funny. Let me tell you something. Just because Jimmy is the Insane Heavyweight Champ, it doesn’t mean he’s better. It just means that he’s holding the title for me until I’m ready to take it. And tonight, Ebon and I are prepared to do whatever we have to do to make sure Jimmy realizes this.
Jack: We can’t forget about Jimmy defeating Ebon last week
Chris: That doesn’t mean anything. Jimmy just got the best of us two weeks ago. That was then, and this is now. Ebon and I went back to the drawing board and we game up with a plan that can’t fail. And speaking of Ebon. Excuse me Jack.
Chris picks his bags up and begins walking towards Ebon who is backstage stretching. The camera follows him. Ebon shakes hands as they begin to talk
Chris: You ready for tonight
Ebon: You bet.
Chris: Last time, Jimmy got the best of us and he pinned you in that ring. We can’t let the same thing happen again tonight.
Ebon: Don’t worry Chris, we got this tonight. With Branden Harvey involved in this match, we’re sure to win.
Chris: I know we talk a big game when we’re in front of the camera, especially about Branden Harvey, but he’s an underdog. It wasn’t long ago when I was an underdog and then I came out of no where with upset after upset and I became a champion for a year. A wise man once told me “Stay Focus and never underestimate the abilities of others”
Ebon: Inspiring, who said it to you
Chris: Actually, I got it from a fortune cookie, but that’s not what’s important. What’s important is that we need to make sure we’re on the same page tonight. We have to treat both Jimmy and Branden as threats. We lose tonight, you know how bad that makes us look. We need the last laugh tonight. We need to make a statement one way or another. Remember why I brought you in. We got humiliated last week and I’m not letting that happen again.
Ebon: Like I said man. Don’t worry. I got your back. I know you have mine. Tag Team wrestling is my specialty. You know how many tag titles I’ve won, like we talked about before, our chances are pretty good.
Chris: Jimmy and Branden have no idea
Ebon: Have you thought about Jimmy’s threat in giving him your answer.
Chris: Jimmy will get his answer, but I decide when and where. Jimmy may be a big black dude, but he doesn’t scare me and he’s not going to bully me. Maybe his tactics worked in EWC, but not here. I don’t care if he like it or not.
Ebon: Show Jimmy your in control and not him
Chris: Exactly.
Ebon: I need to finish warming up, I’ll catch up with you later.
Chris: Make sure your ready, because tonight, we’re sending those two clowns Straight..To…HELL!
The two shake hands again and then Chris walks off as Ebon continues to stretch and the scene fades to black
