Chris Cyrus is backstage sitting on a chair with his feet up on a table reading a magazine, waiting for his match with Branden Harvey to take place, when a man walks up to him. Chris looks up and it’s the APW/IWC Owner, President Jeff. Chris stands up in respect.
Chris: What’s up boss?
Jeff: Hey Chris, you got a second.
Chris: You want a second of my time when you didn’t even want to consider hiring me back to APW after I lost to Biggs in that loser leaves APW match, on the 100th Episode of Overdrive.
Jeff: You and Biggs both agreed to the match, I couldn’t just go and rehire you. You know how bad that would make me look?
Chris: I understand where your coming from. But I have to thank you for not taking me back, because I’m two weeks away from winning the Insane Heavyweight Title. Since coming to IWC, I’ve been given better opportunities than what you’ve given me last year.
Jeff: I’m glad your enjoying your time here Chris. But I have a business proposition for you.
Chris: What kind of Proposition.
Jeff: A proposition that can make you some money and a spot back on the APW Roster.
Chris: What are you talking about.
Jeff: We’ll, I know you’ve been watching Overdrive and you know about Biggs challenge of defending the Overdrive Title every week.
Chris: Uh-huh
Jeff: Well, On Overdrive, I told Biggs I had a mystery opponent set up for him. Well, honestly, I don’t have anyone confirmed, just someone in mind hoping he would say yes. So what do you say Chris, you want some revenge on Biggs. You want a shot at the Overdrive Title on Overdrive?
Chris: How does this get me back on the Roster.
Jeff: Here’s the deal. Biggs ego is starting to get bigger and bigger with every title defense he has. You take the title off of him and become champion, and you become a Megastar again.
Chris: Why Me?
Jeff: Because Chris, I’ve been watching you here in IWC. Your impressive. You almost won the Insane title at Massacre on 34th Street. And you get another shot at Blood Swear and Broken Teeth. Against a man who I’ve seen come up the ranks. Matter of Fact, I was the one who made James Chambers a house hold name in EWC. And to see that you already have a victory over him, it shows me that you have what it takes to take the title off Biggs. Plus, who better than the man who knows Biggs better than anyone, except for maybe Ellie.
Chris: You know, Biggs threw out the window, one of the greatest things going in this business, The Axis of Awesome because of the relationship Ellie and I we’re forming. He threw out our friendship and what does he do, he goes back to her and they get married. He was able to put differences aside with her but never with me. Did he ever try to call me or anything. No. He wanted nothing to do with me. And you know what, That pisses me off. At first, I wanted to work things out with him. I tried to get in contract with him and all he did was ignore me. President Jeff, I accept your offer. And in two week, you’ll be looking at the APW Overdrive and IWC Inane Champion.
Jeff: You made the right decision Chris.
Jeff extends his hand and Chris shakes it
Chris: I won’t let you down boss.
The camera moves down to their hands shaking as the scene fades out

After the match with Biggs
Backstage at Overdrive, we see Chris Cyrus barging into President Jeff’s office. Jeff is on his cell phone and Chris is standing there, just staring at Jeff.
Jeff: I’ll call you back
Jeff puts his phone in his pocket
Chris: Did you see what Biggs did out there?
Jeff: Sure did. Congrats on the win.
Chris: It wasn’t a win, it was a damn DRAW! Do you realize what that means
Jeff: I saw you pin him the same time he pinned you. You should be proud of yourself.
Chris: That Draw means I’m not the Overdrive Champion. Which means, I’m still out of a job in APW.
Jeff: Oh right. Our agreement. Tough Luck.
Chris: Listen Mr. President. Your dropping the ball with me. It was proven tonight when I did pin Biggs and I was screwed out of the Overdrive Title tonight. And I’m going to prove that your dropping the ball with me when at Blood, Sweat and Broken Teeth when I beat James Chambers to an inch of his life. One thing you’ve just done to me Jeff is woken up a sleeping dragon. Before, I just wanted that Insane Title so I could be at the top of a company and show the world that I wasn’t the weakest link of the Axis of Awesome. But now, to add to it, I want that belt to show you that by screwing me over, that your making the biggest business decision of your life. You just lit the fire under my ass to win that title and believe me, I will win it and I will show you why I’m Chris Cyrus, And why I’m Simply…AWESOME!
Chris begins to walk away
Jeff: Hey Chris.
Chris turns towards Jeff
Jeff: I see potential in you kid. I always have. That’s why you we’re the APW Xtreme Champion for almost a year.
Chris: Three Hundred and sixty four days to be exact.
Jeff: James Chambers, isn’t a walk in the park, and that fire and determination you have right now, that’s what you need to beat a man like James Chambers. Chris, I have no doubt that you can beat him, but he can just as easily beat you. Chris, if you want back in APW, you have to show me you want it. I’ll be at Blood Sweat and Broken Teeth and I’ll be watching your match with Jimmy. You do your best, and maybe I’ll consider giving you another shot.
Chris: I’ll see you at Blood Sweat and Broken Teeth.
Jeff: Chris, one more thing. Whatever happens, one way or another, you will be at Rasslemania. Your one guy since APW started that has wrestled at every Rasslemania and I want to keep it that way. Everyone has a Rasslemania moment, do your best to make yours as the IWC Insane Champion.
With that, Chris leaves the room, leaving President Jeff to pull out his cell phone and the scene fades.

Chris Cyrus home in Las Vegas
The scene opens up inside the home of Chris Cyrus. We see Chris with a video camera in hand as he’s setting it up on a tripod. He gets it all set up and hits record. On the camera, you just see a wall with a black curtain hanging on it. And then Chris walks into the camera view, wearing black track pants with a white stripe on the side of his leg, and an old APW shirt with the arms cut off. Chris looks into the camera, takes a breath and then begins to speak.
Chris: Massacre on 34th Street was suppose to be MY night. It was suppose to be a night where I, Chris Cyrus became the IWC Insane Heavyweight Champion. That night was suppose to be the night where I showed everyone that I can succeed without Biggs. It was my opportunity to be at the top of a company. To hold the title everyone wants. It was my dream when I signed with IWC, but that dream was shattered by James Chambers. It was shattered when James stole that championship from me. And I’m not just saying that because he’s black. I’m saying it because it’s the Truth. Think about it. That night, everyone had matches where the winners would face each other in the main event to crown the new champion. Now Jimmy boy had it easy, he wrestled in a battle royal full of people who aren’t even around anymore. That alone shows the kind of competition he had. Myself, I had to face Jason Royce in a fans bring the weapons match where I was assaulted with weapons which wore my body down. Hell, I’m pretty sure I had a concussion going into the main event after I beat Jason Royce for the millionth time. But when we got to the main event, We took care of The Gambler and Delilah so it was down to Jimmy and I. I had the match won, I was ready to engrave my name in history and then Jimmy ruined everything.
After that night, I’ll admit, I went into a slight depression. I began to question my abilities. Questioning if I had what it takes to be a Heavyweight Champion. And then I remembered, I’m an APW Triple Crown Champion. Two time Tag team Champion, longest reigning Xtreme Champion and I’ve even beat the current Insane champion before. So that got me thinking, to be Insane Champion, I need to send a message to James. I jumped on my computer, opened up google and typed in James Chambers. And that brought me to EWC. And from there, I learned more about Jimmy than I knew and from there, I learned about a man by the name of Ebon. I then contacted Ebon and before you knew it, Ebon was in IWC attacking Jimmy. Not because I needed Ebon. It was all mind games Jimmy. I wanted to get into your think deep skull of yours and throw you off your game a little, and I think its mission accomplished.
Jimmy may have gotten the best of us, but the message was still sent and now on February 28th, at Blood, Sweat and Broken Teeth, I get my chance again at the Insane Heavyweight Title. There will be no Ebon, no Branden Harvey, no Jason Royce no anyone. It will be Jimmy and I, one on one. There will be a winner and the better man will win. And I will be the better man Jimmy. Because while your making jokes and being Mr. Funny man. I’m training Hard. I’m studying your tapes. I’m making sure I’m more ready for you than anyone I’ve ever wrestled. Because one thing I know Jimmy. Its harder to keep a title than it is to win it. And that’s why I’ve been doing everything I can to physically and mentally prepare myself for this match.
And Jimmy, you may be bigger and stronger than me. But that doesn’t intimidate me. That right there is gas in the fire for me. Makes me more determine to beat you to show you that it doesn’t matter how big you are, because when your on the mat and your shoulders are getting pinned, you’re the same size as everyone else. Its time for someone to put an end to James Chambers. Its time for someone to put an end to your fifteen minutes of fame and who better to do that than me. I don’t like you Jimmy, I never liked you. And at the Super Show, I’m going to destroy you with the two most dangerous weapons in IWC. My own two hands. These are my only weapons. Many people tried to beat me in the anything goes matches and I always came out on top. And when I beat you Jimmy, and become the Insane Champion, I will be the kind of champion that not only this company deserves, but the fans deserve as well.
I will bring class back to IWC. I will take the hardcore garbage out of IWC and make IWC a better place for everyone. When I’m champion, I will make a point to be the kind of champion that your children can look up to. The kind of champion that your grandmother would want you to bring home. I will prove that you don’t need to be a glorified stuntman to be the Insane Champion. And to do that, All you need is WRESTLING skills. And that I have. All you need is confidence, and I have that. Jimmy, you might think you got this match won with not much effort, cause everyone looks at me as not a threat, but you know deep down Jimmy just what I can do in that ring and what I’m capable of. I’ve beaten you once and I’m ready to do it again.
Jimmy, you’ve been a poor excuse as the Insane Champion. Its time for IWC to have not only a new champion, but the right champion. Its time for the Chris Cyrus era to reign supreme. I easily could have won the Tap Out title and started my era with that, but I didn’t want that title. There’s only one title I want and I’ve been waiting it since October. And there’s going to be nothing and nobody who will stand in my way and stop me from getting what I want. James Chambers, your in for a night of hell. Because for you, its going to be a night full of headlocks, headlocks and even more headlocks. Its going to be a night where I pick you up and slam you straight to hell. And it will be a night, where your have to watch, my hand being raised and the referee handing me the Insane championship. And I guarantee you Jimmy, as your laid out on the mat, I will stand over your body and raise that title. I’ve been dreaming of that moment for a long, long time and on February twenty seventh, at Blood Sweat and Broken Teeth, My dream will come true. And if anything. For you Jimmy, this Super Show, will be Blood, Sweat and Broken Dreams. There’s no stopping me now Jimmy. Your fate lies in my hands. Like it or not, it doesn’t matter, because after its all said and done, I am leaving the IWC Arena and going to Rasslemania VII as the NEW IWC INSANE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
