* Walking around on foot in the open grass lands of Africa; predator and prey are all around them but there’s one thing the dark continent didn’t count on- Christian Gallos. Heading off into the jungle from the open savannah is a risk that they all willingly accepted, except for MP3 who seems to be the only sane person in the group. The group tries to walk quietly in a tight formation in order not to disturb their game but MP3 breaks the silence. *
MP3- Seriously guys; I want a fucking gun out here in the middle of the jungle!
* nervousness , frustration and fear grip tight to MP3; all things that Nate doesn’t tolerate.*
Nate- Fine! Take my gun.
* Nate hands MP3 his riffle, slamming it hard into his chest.*
Nate- I’d rather use my knife anyway. The more I think about it the more it appeals to me. I’m liking that idea of getting so close to my prey that I can smell the stank of it’s breath. I know that Rico isn’t blind. I know he’s been paying attention to not only our match but that triple threat match as well. He wants to scout the guy that’s going to knock him off the mountain.
MP3 - Does that worry you?
Nate- Worry; no. It intrigues me. Just like Ebon an Iceman, I want Rico to know how I’ll react this time around.
Gallos- That just seems stupid.
Nate- No, it’s smart. Rico wants me to be scared, he wants me to be scared because it “ should be” the correct response to fighting him. He wants me to get all flustered.
Kash- Him trying to convince you and the world that you should be afraid of him or worried or anything like that just shows how desperate he is to try and hang on to an advantage that he may have had but you clearly took from him.
Nate- I can’t deny that Rico’s been taking notes of my matches in finger paints. I’m happy for him that he managed to accomplish such a feat. Now he’ll be able to find out that there’s always a counter measure. Nate Bishop, DangerTainment; we’re always a few steps ahead. With all that he thinks he knows about me gives me the opportunity to completely change all perceptions about me.
Knuckles- Be ruthless, go hard. Go at him and don’t stop till you get what’s rightfully yours, Nate. Take the page out of my book- no guts, no glory.
Nate- That’s what I did the other week and Rico will be damned if he thought I’m not goin’ all out on him.
MP3- He’ll be counting on that though; that’s the point. That’s what he wants you to do.
Nate- And that’s what I’m doing. I’m not going to change my tactics because that’s what he wants me to do. I’m not afraid of him, I’m not worried and I’m not going to any second thoughts. If he wants to think that because he’s a “ Loose Cannon” that that gives him a birth right to the title then he has another thing coming.
Gallos- You already have the tools, you’re already a top guy in IWC. Now you just have to stuff Rico’s oafish fist back in his mouth.
Nate- What’s he gonna pull that “ I beat you last time so you can’t beat me this time?”
MP3- I don’t think he’s.. well yeah, he is that dumb.
Nate- The games completely changed since four weeks ago. I’m not the same guy that I was last time; hell I’m not the same man that I was in the triple threat. Evolution, that’s what this sport is about.
Kash- You adapt, you fight, you keep going. That’s why you are The Chosen Future.
Nate- And that’s why Rico will be extinct come the PPV. Unlike him I can see the evolution of this industry an I don’t try to latch onto it and tame it like a bull. Everything is cyclical and will come back to where it was. Right now the industry is far, far around from the kind of guy that Rico is. Maybe one day it’ll come back but first it has to go through the dangerTainment era. It’s not even the fact that I can allow the business to evolve and myself to evolve. I’ve been a top guy since I’ve been here. In fact I never had a non high profile match. I’ve fought the “ Suicidal” champion, rattled his gorilla cage. Then I wrestled a triple threat for his title and now here I am. I didn’t fight no half ass no shows like Delilah. I didn’t have to nearly kill myself against Branden Harvey an I certainly don’t have to puff out my chest to make myself look good on camera. High profile, main events.. that’s all I know and bred to know. I showed everyone that when the prize is on the line, its like taking candy from a baby.. Or a half retarded quadriplegic.. Or what ever it is the government classifies Rico as.
My question is how is Rico better then when we met? What because he beat me he doesn’t have to be ? Because he really didn’t do anything? I highly doubt Rico has more then a five move skill list in the ring that doesn’t involve grunting or crying.
Knuckles- maybe he thinks his MMA background counts as adapting?
Nate - Last I checked jerky my dad ran a wrestling promotion and that’s the business that I stepped into. I know that he’s aware that it’s the same business that he entered but how far is he willing to go? We know that he’s willing to leave it all in the ring but in four weeks time I see a regression in his mindset. The fact that he doesn’t think that I’m constantly changing my game proves that he feels that he’s secure whole heartedly in what works for him.
That’s another thing, he lost last week to Chambers but he blames Cyrus for ruining his chances.. True Champion right there. Rico Crying to the choir.
Kash- Excuses, such things are below DangerTainment and the level of professionalism we maintain. Speaking of maintain..
* Kash reaches in his pocket and pulls out a blunt, lights it and takes a puff. *
Nate - Everyone in both IWC an APW know who we are and know that we’re not a group that’s just going to “ go away” no mater how much Rico or anyone else wants to cry about it. The fact that with Kash and myself in IWC scares Rico because he feels very mortal. As he should because he saw that I was more then willing to go all in to make sure that I walked out of Asylum with that number one contender ship . I’m prepared to go into the PPV and get what I know deep down in my soul is rightfully mine. Rico represents the past, the old way of doing things. DangerTainment is NEW way of doing things and people better get used to that or get out of the way.
* Nate reaches down to his leg holster and pulls out his large hunting knife and starts to walk far ahead of the group, off into the bush. *
Gallos - Nate, where you going?
Nate - To try my luck out in the unknown.
* Nate keeps walking until he vanishes out of the groups sight to go and test only his luck but his skills as well. *

Scene 2- “ No Man’s Land”
* Nate continues to walk through the African jungle, with a sense of pride in his step. His steps were pounced, hard and stuff. As if each step was an announcement that he had arrived an it was a challenge to anything around him. Walking for what seems like a immeasurable about of time that space had forgot, Nate Sits down and rests at the base of a tall tree. He looks up to the sky but all he can see is the green canopy of the jungle. The sun had vanished but the sun is over rated so screw the sun. Taking a deep breath he tries to focus himself and his thoughts. A haste full mind can kill you out in the wild; much like it can in the wrestling ring. Nate exhales knowing that he has a grip on the situation, that he’s in control of the jungle and not vise versa. He rolls the knife in an out of his fingers for a moment before closing his eyes , if only for a moment.. If only for a moment.
In the jungle a moment can be like a life time of unfulfilled destinies. The rustling of bushes and snapping of twigs, along with a slight rumbling beneath him cause him to stir and awaken. Nate opens his eyes, unaware of what’s in front of him.. Then his heart says hello to his stomach as he takes a hard gulp of air.
A Rhino, a juvenile Rhino stares him down. Nearly frozen, Nate can’t do anything but breath; unfortunately for the rhino that’s all Nate needs. The Rhino had never seen a human, none the less be face to face with one and that gave Nate precious time that he needed. *
Nate- My luck can’t be this bad.
* Nate looks down to the knife still clutched in his hand. *
Nate - Not exactly the right tool for the job but that’s ok.
* Standing up slowly, never taking his eyes off the rhino, he grips the knife tightly. Nate takes a step, the rhino mirrors it. Nate breaths, so does the beast before him. It was obvious that the Rhino wasn’t going to let Nate go anywhere. *
Nate- So this is how it’s gonna be? I really wish I had my gun but I did want to get up close and personal with my kill. Ok.. Well.. I got what I asked for.
* Nate swallowed heart again, trying to control his heart rate.*
Nate - Lets dance Dumbo.
* Beginning to circle the rhino, it pivots around, keeping its eyes trained on Nate. Trying to feel things out the rhino nudges its head towards Nate. Nothing really life threatening but a defensive measure by the rhino. Nate takes the head nudge as a cue to move so he quickly leap frogs over the rhino and gets behind it. Trying to take a quick jab at the rhino, takes too slow as the rhino turns quickly, swatting Nate with it’s large head, sending Nate to the dirt a few yards away. Downed, Rhino charges Nate who barely rolls out of the way in time. The Rhino backs up a bit from the tree that was just behind Nate who now lunges for the rhino, sticking the beast right in the side before vaulting over the animal. Pissed off the rhino grunts and turns to Nate who reaches back to his leg and takes out another hunting knife. Nate gets the jump on the rhino again, shoving the knife right in the other side of its body before vaulting over once again. With two knives in its body the rhino charges Nate who backs up towards the tree that he was just tossed next to. With no options, no weapons Nate’s only hope was to jump up and hope that he could grab a tree branch.
A thunderous crash echo’s through the jungle as the rhino strikes the tree, whose vibration shakes Nate lose and lands right on the back of the rhino. In a panic, Nate’s mind raced with what to do next- THE KNIVES Reaching around, grabbing the knives, Nate rips them out from the beast and starts stabbing it repeatedly in the back like a man possessed. Its life or death and He’s be damn to meet his end out in the African bush with only twenty years on this earth. Rearing up, the rhino bucks Nate off. Landing hard on his shoulder Nate, goes to get up but meets the eyes of the beast, falling back to the ground Nate tries to scuttle himself away but its no use. The rhino raises up its monstrous frame, moments away from crushing the would be up and coming young man. Instinctively Nate raises his arms up to try and protect his head as anyone would do as the rhinos come down to gore him but the Rhino’s neck gained intimate knowledge of the working end of Nate’s knives. With great force, Nate makes a towing motion with his arms, digging the knives deeper into the jugular of the rhino, widening the cuts.
A loud, blood curdling, breath taking an otherwise heart breaking roar came out from the rhino- Its last plea to the world that it once stood and mattered to its environment. Now, The environment has taken it back. Hands shaking, heart racing, instinct takes over Nate again as he pounds away at the rhinos face and it falls to the side, thankfully not crushing Nate. Laying there for a few minutes with a dead rhino by his side, Nate once again tries to take control of his being. Easier said then done in the heat of the moment but the moment always falls to clearer heads. Nate gets up and kneels back down to removes one of the knives from the rhinos neck. *
Nate - You were a worthy adversary my friend and you deserve all that you’ve gotten in this world. I’m sorry that such a fate had to befallen you but such is the fate of the universe in the hands of the future.
* Nate stands up again, wiping the sweat from his brow and sticking the knife back in its holster. *
Nate - Life is a mixture of luck and skill. The fate of a given situation depends on how you can use the skills at hand to better a favorable outcome… in other words.. Rico when your staring up at those bright house lights, unforgivably passing judgment upon you and my name lofts over the speakers as your NEW Suicidal Champion.. You’ll know that my skills have NOTHING to do with luck- Believe it!
* Nate staggers off from the jungle to try and find the group with a new prospective on life that his skill and determination can carry him through the worst of situations. *
