* Nate Bishop has learned through a trial of fire that school can only teach you so much before you go on to experience the real thing first hand. His fathers training camp got his body and mind prepared not to be a superstar but to grow into one. Dubbed “ The Chosen Future” for talents foreseen in him by Christian Gallos of DangerTainment, Nate is now taking the steps to unlocking his growth. First and foremost, his technique.
In East Houston with Jason Kash and MP3 in the Combat sports training facility, Nate practices to better himself in the ring and grow into much more then DangerTainment saw in him. He and Kash are having a match to gauge Nate’s ability to adapt and counter the changes in pace. Kash whips him off the ropes, letting Nate leap frog and step over him before getting back up and locking in a sleeper hold. *
Kash- Where’s your stamina now? Your body got in that motion of running yet here you are Nate, being choked out. Your stamina can’t save you in these situations. Don’t let your legs dictate your pace, look where they get you. They’re not trying to struggle out of this sleeper- you are. What are you gonna do ?
* Nate wraps his arm as best he can around the back of Kash’s neck. Using the leverage to lift himself up and over, Nate gets behind him and tries to German suplex Kash but he blocks it and hip tosses Nate back over by his hair and locks the sleeper in again. *
Kash - Don’t use your legs. They are your advantage, don’t make them hurt you. Sometimes you have to slow down and use your brain to counter an anticipate your opponent. You think Rico’s the best guy on the roster? No, you are! He’s been doin this for years, you’ve barley been at this three months. Now get out of the sleeper!
* Nate gets himself to a knee, then in a hunched position. He starts elbowing Kash in the gut until the hold gets loose enough for him to move. Nate picks up Kash by the leg and hoists him on his shoulders before pushing Kash off and kneeing him in the face. *
Nate - Never count me out Kash. I may have much to learn but I am learning. I may not be adapt full like you but I can still come back from out of no where because my strengths allow me to. I admit I don’t know all the counters in the book an I thank you for teaching me but there’s one thing I have perfected and that’s surprise. You want me to be able to get in an out of every situation just as much as I want it but even you have to admitt that you didn’t see that coming.
* Kash gets up and gets in Nate’s face, slapping him playfully a few times with a smile on his face. *
Kash - You’re getting there. You coulda flipped me around and shot around the ring like a man on fire but no- you went for the kill.
MP3- Did you expect anything less from the kid. I know he’s got a flare about him but you saw it in Rico’s match last week that Nate will do what it takes to put the guy away. He knows when its time to run the ring and when crush a few dreams. He just needs to know when to shut his mouth! You telegraph too much, you make it too obvious. You can be quick and subtle at the same time. Guys like Kash can eat that alive. You’re heel kick, though quick isn’t subtle enough. Sure it can come from no where but you make a big thing about it. It shouldn’t be your finisher.
Kash - MP3 has a point, every time I came off the ropes I hooked them and there you were flat on your ass because you couldn’t gauge me. Now that kick, that was good and it has the strength to end a match. My advice would be to use that as your finish. If your gonna be reping in war Games, you’ll need a strong finish.
Nate - I’ll get the job done no matter my finish. Pace can’t keep Nate Bishop down.
MP3- Now tell us why.
Nate - Because Nate Bishop IS pace. The counter to strategy is chaos.
MP3- I think he’s got it, a little skewed but he’s got it.
Nate - Though I’m not too sure how much strategy Harvey will have considering be barely escaped a full body cast from Ebon the other week and traveling back and forth from both shows. He’ll be rundown and broken. He’ll see before himself a looming shadow in DangerTainment, all the while knowing that he couldn’t get the job done against knuckles and here he is against another founding member. Knuckles is tough but my style compliments Harvey and that has to scare him. Harvey can’t do a damn thing right in this business. He floundered out in the hardcore division, he gets scraps from everybody else an even with those scraps he can’t do anything. He gets treated like a little brother that everyone takes sympathy on- knuckles treated him like a dog but at asylum I’ll do one better. I’ll treat Branden Harvey like Branden Harvey. I’ll humiliate him, out class him. There’s true high flyers , then there’s Branden Harvey. He’s joke an insult to not only my style but to my family business. It’s almost beneath me to even wrestle him.
MP3 - You’re young, stay hungry. Nothing is “beneath” you. Your match against Harvey is for a spot at war games.
Nate - It’s a waste of a match. I’m constantly learning and adapting while Harvey is constantly making the same mistakes and losing because of it. I’ve been in big matches because of WHO I am and not who my friends are or who I annoy. This is just another example of that. They can only suppress me for so long before I am uncontainable. There will be a point when IWC can no longer keep me down because my of experience because I’m already putting champions in check that the only reason they barley escape with their lives an pride is because a hillbilly can count my matches on one hand that they’ll soon end and then where will they be?
* Nate gets out of the ring and MP3 hands him a bottle of water. Nate unscrews the cap and takes a sip. *
Nate - Harvey gets to wrestle another DT member but this time one that can move just like him that has a more technique then him- more high profile matches. A man that’s bred to take this industry by force and deliver it to places it has never seen before. Do you think Harvey can accomplish that?
Kash - Harvey can barley tie his shoes.
Nate - Us in Rasslemaina, making up two of the spots for war games- That’s a DangerTainent match. it’s pretty much DT vs. APW and with all this training and the moves that you guys have taught me- my skills are on par with everyone else’s.
MP3- So what are you gonna call that new move of yours? It’d make a great finish.
Nate - I haven’t really thought of it.
* MP3 thinks for a moment before getting an idea and snapping his fingers.*
MP3- I got it! You like to be unpredictable an unorthodox. You said it yourself that chaos is the perfect counter to strategy so why not call it “ Future Imperfect” because they’re strategy is flawed.
Nate - When they’re going against me, everything about them is flawed.
Kash- So what’s that make Harvey?
Nate- Expendable, simply expendable. There’s two types of guys in this world; guys who shoot there mouth and guys whose mouths shoot them. I shoot my mouth, I train and I back it up. Harvey is in group two. He’s just a guy that talks to hope that it might change a mind but I’m a guy that’s constantly making everyone else think twice. Here I am, in the gym training to better myself for the long and illustrious career that it ahead of me where Harvey probably in a hospital trying to preach to death mute dying of cancer on how he’s hardcore an is afraid of what he’s become. I may not be a scientist or a doctor but becoming jerky’s bitch in APW isn’t a sickness, it’s a reality. Harvey is a street sweeper, cleaning up the mess and rummaging through the trash. I tore Ebon up a few weeks ago, make him bleed and busted him up then Rico tried sending me a message and id even more work on him. Harvey nearly lost to a man that shouldn’t have even competed. Now this match he’s in is for a spot in War Games? Really? It’s a lamb to DangerTainment slaughter. I’ve been in big level matches since I got here an I don’t intend on leaving assylum with out that spot in war games. Rico an whoever else can say what ever they damn well please about me but I’m up for consideration to represent IWC at Rasslemaina, not them! That’s a looming figure in Harvey’s mind, I know it. Going against a guy that he can hang in big time situations and give it his alll, leave it all there- win or lose I’m the best damn thing goin in IWC an I will lead our team to victory at Rasslemaina. Harvey to his limits, watch his mind snap in that ring. With your help guys I know I can reach the heights that we all know I can reach. The future is unknown, the future is dark but for me its brighter then the noon day sun with bountiful fruits along the road. Harvey will make a great warm up to test out my new moves an abilities. They say that the all seeing is that of providence but really its DangerTainment and that eye is Nate Bishop looking down on that world. Branden Harvey will feel the wrath of The futures Overseer.. Believe it.
* Take tosses MP3 the bottle of water before climbing back into the ring to continue his session with Kash in becoming a bigger and brighter star then he already is. *
