*Darwin Hospital, A Few Days Ago*
He had walked through the desert holding his girlfriend who had sprained her ankle and had not once stopped to catch a breather. But that seemed so long ago, a day and a half ago to be exact, and right now Madok was just concerned about his girlfriend. The girl lying in her bed, nodding her head to the doctor as he examined her ankle. Madok sat down in a chair outside, waiting for a diagnosis of what appeared to him to have been a simple twisted ankle, but now seemed to be much more. He was concerned of course, but he would be fine because he could tell the doctor had nothing bad to report as he emerged from the room. The doctor made a b-line for Madok and stood before him in no less than three seconds, holding a clip board and smiling.
"Its' a sprain Mr. Mortalis. It will take her a few weeks, but she will be alright."
"Oh, thanks Doc. I was concerned for a minute that it could have possibly been something way worse."
"It could have been, Mr. Mortalis. After all, your wife told me that you all had been walking out in the desert at night....not a very good idea, Mr. Mortalis to say the least."
"She is not my..."
Madok paused for a second and looked into the room at his smiling girlfriend who lay in her bed comfortably as she looked out the window and into the night sky. For a moment he thought of what it would be like. Being married and all...having a kid on the way the thought of marriage did not seem so dilusional to him anymore. Maybe it was because he had matured a bit since knowing Nicky or maybe it was because he had just grown more and more fond of her over the past few months that he finally realized where he wanted to go in life. He wanted marriage. He wanted a family. He wanted to take his family out hunting, fishing, camping, or anything else that he could possibly do with a family of his own. He wanted it all and the best part was that he didn't need to wait any longer for it. He had the opportunity to make it all happen.
"You were saying, sir?"
Madok snapped out of his train of thought and gave the doctor a grin, patted him on the shoulder, and then walked right passed him to join his girlfriend in her room. He sat down next to her bed without her realizing and put his hand on her arm, causing her to jump a bit, but as she saw who it was she put her other hand on his.
"You feeling alright, Nicky?"
"Yes and it is all because of you...who would have thought you could have been such a knight in shining armor?"
"I learned how to do that from my best friend, Pence."
"Stop being modest...it isn't like you at all. You had it in you all along...its' why I love you so much."
Madok leaned over and kissed her on the head as he tightened his grip on her arm a bit, but not too much as to hurt her, but to give her a feeling that he would never leave her. She gave him the biggest smile that he had ever seen and rubbed his hand even more gently.
"Nicky...I have been thinking about my life....and how I have always been a sort of loner with an attitude. It was fun for a while, being a bachelor who could get any lady that he wanted, and could do anything that he wanted, but that is not me anymore..."
"What are you trying to say, hon?"
"Well...I just think it is about time that I settle down....I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think I am ready to get married."
For a moment a look of surprise washed over Nicky's face, but soon it was replaced with a look of pure joy. She sat straight up and hugged Madok, kissing him all over his face leaving faint marks of lipstick on his face as she did so.
"Ummm...Nicky, as much as I love the affection and all, but could you give me an answer?"
She leaned back and then got close to his face.
"The answer is yes."
She leaned in and gave him a big kiss on the lips and Madok grinned. It felt like a weight had finally been lifted and that he had finally learned how to touch the clouds that he had been chasing for so long. Finally, Madok Mortalis had found love, and would live a life that would make him quite the happy man, but he still had unfinished business. He still had things he needed to do and he still had people he had to defeat, but now...he wouldn't be doing it all alone. No, he would be joined by his wife, and his child when he or she arrived. And in that, Madok was finally, truly happy.

*A Little Bit Later*
"So, she said yes?"
Pence asked as he stood in the doorway to Madok's hotel room which was empty for now as he waited for Nicky to be cleared to leave the hospital.
"Yeah, she said yes...you make it sound like she wouldn't."
"I'm sorry bro. I just never thought you were the type of guy who was looking to get hitched."
"Well to be honest, Pence. I didn't think I was either, but over time I have become a little more...like you. I started looking for more than what I had and I found it and I hit it big...I just can't stop feeling like this. It just feels too fucking amazing."
"I know what you mean just don't let it get away from you man. I did and look at me now. Standing in your hotel room without any where to go."
Madok nodded his head and then let out a bit of a laugh before getting off the bed and walking toward the open window overlooking the beautiful town.
"Do you mind giving me a few moments, dude. I got to handle some stuff real quick before we can go out and get a bite to eat."
"No, problem...do what you have to do."
Pence said as he disappeared through the door and out into the hall. After Pence had closed the door, Madok turned to look at the camera and shrugged his shoulders.
"So...how do I continue from where I left off last time? I really don't know to be honest, seeing as how none of you have really added anything to the conversation that is worth talking about. Sure, I could just sit around, and be like you guys and pull random obscure facts from out of my ass to better my own agenda, but what would be the point if they were all lies? You see unlike you guys, I have spoken truthfully, I have not once told a fucking lie, and I intend to not to for the rest of this little chit-chat we are having now because I believe that the truth is much more important than some two bit lie that is spat out of some vile fucker's mouth. Its like none of you care about what you say...its like none of you have a fucking plug to keep all the bullshit from spewing out. For most of my career I have been able to tolerate such things, but recently I have just been wishing and wishing to God that there was some form of mute button on life. Sadly, there is no such thing, but my weapon's company is in the process of trying to find one.
I have tried, I have had patience as I have waited for one person to shine brighter than the others to make this match seem like it is not just me fighting a bunch of scrub athletes, but every where I turn there is just shit. There is nothing good about what I have to do Sunday, there is not one damn bit of competition in that fucking ring, and let me be even more honest when I state that I can't believe that this is the sort of talent that Reggi believes is worthy of the Tap Out belt. I can say I'm apalled by that alone. Reggi must have thought somewhere in that small cavity he has up on his shoulders that this was a good match that this would present the opportunity to show off all my skills, but in actuality this has done nothing, but make it seem like Asylum is a joke. For Christ's sake this match is under the Xtreme title in importance in terms of star power for Mayhem and that in itself is just fucking ludicrous.
Don't worry about me though...I will live, but I am quite concerned for the direction of this show if this is what they believe to be the best of the best talent that they have to offer for this division. I will admit I'm not the model of perfection that I make myself out to be, but at least I have something to add to the table for being a championship. The rest of these guys would more than likely just sit around and brag about their victory without any sort of true fiber to whatever they do. Me on the other hand, I'm actually good...I'm good with a microphone and in the ring, plus I can put asses in the seats. Ask anyone out there who they would rather have running the show if they had to pick between anyone in this match and I assure you I would be picked four times out of five and that is because the fifth guy is Shane Borderland and he really, really, really wants some hot dickings from Kash. Sadly, that is how this match has turned out of course.
Four stooges and a true athlete. Ridiculous and embarassing at the same time if you ask me. I mean, who the fuck wants to plaster this as a win? Not me that is for sure. Sure, I'm going to win, but it is not going to be one of those cheery wins it is going to be a "I wish I had gotten more out of this match" sort of wins. You know, the one where the guy just clutches the championship, gets his hand raised, and just walks out of the ring without saying a word or joining the fans in their celebration of his victory? That's what this is for me, sadly, and as much as I don't want to say that this match is not going to be a challenge, I just can't help, but feel that way. That of course is a problem I am going to have live with. As for the four of you who are going against me, you guys have a whole other world of problems coming your way.
One of those problems of course is the fact that none of you can stop me from reaching my goal. It will be like the Final Destination, you guys will try as hard as you can to prevent your miserable existences from ceasing, only to be beaten by the inevitable conclusion. The second problem is of course is the fact that none of you are willing to take me seriously. That of course is a stupid rookie mistake that only the most cocky of faggots makes and usually that path leads people straight to a horrible loss and this is no different. Lastly, none of you are as half as good as you say you are. This is evident by your lack of true information on me and lack of any true plan that could easily put me in my place. Also, none of you truly have the in-ring training that would make you good choices to be a champion and that is evident by the lack of success you all have had against the scrubs of this show.
But you know what, don't pay any attention to me, it is going to make things all the more sweeter when you come out so high and mighty only to come in second place to the man with a plan. And for those of you who say I'm not focused on this match, get fucking real. This is a title match and I am taking it as seriously as I should because even with a bunch of scrubs there is a chance for a statistical anomaly, there is always a chance for a variable to change in the middle of the match, and that my friends is what separates me from you guys. I know that something may happen and I have done my best to prepare for those odd occurrences. But you guys will never admit that something will happen because quite frankly you are higher on yourselves than Jason Kash after taking a hit from a joint or a bong. But that is just the reality I have to deal with...yet again. So all in all, I have nothing more to say to any of you because I know my words go in one ear and out the other because to you guys, the truth, is nothing more than an elaborate hoax so...good bye for now and of course for the love of God...would you all just fuck off!?"
Madok flicks off the camera as the scene bursts to static.
