The scene starts after last Sunday’s Asylum show. Outside in the parking lot, is Chris Cyrus with his bag heading towards his car. He gets to his car, and puts his bags in the back seat. Just as he closes his door, he hears something
Voice: THERE HE IS!!
It’s a couple of young kids, running towards him as a father, with a camera around his neck, trails behind. The kids run up to Chris
Kid #1: Hey Chris, good job tonight, can we get come autographs.
Chris: Sure Kid.
The Kid hands Chris a marker and Chris signs his name on both kids Asylum T-Shirts. There you go guys.
Father: You mind if I take a picture of you giving my sons a headlock.
Chris: No problem.
Chris grabs both kids and put them in a single arm headlock and they all pose for the camera as the father takes the picture.

Father: Thank you very much Chris. This was our first live wrestling show here and the boys are very excited.
Chris: No problem, any time.
Kid #2: Are you mad that you lost tonight
Chris knells down so he’s face to face with the kids
Chris: Yah, I’m a little mad, but remember this, when ever you lose at something, don’t let it get you down. You have to look beyond the lost and take the positives out of it. I might have been on the losing team in the match, but I wasn’t pinned. So what I need to do is come up with a better game plan for the next match and then go out there and then do my very best. As long as you do your best, then everything will eventually fall into place. Ok little guy
The Kids gets a smile across their face and Chris gets back up.
Father: Thanks Chris, I really appreciate this. Come kids, lets go.
The family leaves as Chris gets into his car, starts it up and drives away.

We open up in Moncton New Brunswick Canada at the Moncton Coliseum. Its Thursday night for Overdrive. The show is in the middle of a commercial when all of a sudden, “Iron Man” By Black Sabbath hit’s the PA. The APW Faithful begin to cheer as Chris Cyrus makes an unannounced appearance. He’s not in ring gear, but makes his way down to the ring and slaps the hands of a few fans at ringside before sliding into the ring under the bottom rope. Chris climbs the turn buckle and poses for the fans as the fans cheer. Chris jumps down and signals for a microphone and Nicky Paige hands him one through the ropes. Chris walks over to the middle of the ring as his music cuts out and he starts to speak
Chris: I bet you didn’t expect me to be here tonight
The fans let out a cheer for the Asylum Megastar.
Chris: Your probably all wondering why I’m here tonight. Why is there an Asylum Megastar on an Overdrive show. Well, I’m not here to cause any trouble. One reason why I’m here, it to keep an eye on The Gambler. Its no secret we’ve haven’t been on the best of terms. And I won’t lie, seeing Him and Bobby get screwed in their match here tonight, made me smile. But while I am here to keep an eye on The Gambler, I figured, why not come out here quick during commercial break and address what happened on Asylum this past Sunday.
This past Sunday on Asylum, I was teamed up with a new Team, The big Time Jerks, to take on, Gambling Superstars and some other no name. Going into this match, I felt good, real good. I was confident that my team would come out on top, and then what happened? My team let me down. They we’re almost none existent. The Big Time Jerks, they live by their team name. They are Jerks for screwing us out of a win on Asylum, and they are Jerks for sucking so damn much. I don’t have time to deal with these kinds of set backs. The only thing I am interested in is moving my career forward, and I can’t do that if I have to take two steps back because of a couple of people who don’t care about this company. And that’s why next Sunday, I’m putting my career back on track.
My opponent, APW Hall of Famer, BDC, Chris Defoe.
The crowd begin to boo for the APW Hall of Famer
Chris: This man was once a champion in EWC. A man to be feared from my understanding. That’s all fine and dandy, but when was the last time EWC was even irrelevant to this business. What BDC did in EWC means nothing here in APW. What BDC did in EWC was ages ago, and this is now. BDC has done nothing in APW that’s even worth a place in the Hall of Fame. BDC’s biggest claim to fame in APW is returning to APW for a month, then disappearing for six. Coming back for another month, and disappearing for another six. If that’s what you have to do to get into the Hall of Fame, then I don’t want to be in it. But I’m not stupid, I know that’s not why your really in BDC. The real reason your in the hall of fame is because you’re a respect man in this business and President Jeff felt sorry for you that you weren’t able to get into any other hall of fame, so it put you in his. But that’s ok.
This match here is a Hall of Famer Verses a Future Hall of Famer. I will be in the APW Hall of Fame one day. I’m more qualified to be in there than half the people in there already. I’m a triple crown APW Champion. Two time APW Tag Team Champion, And I was the longest reigning Xtreme Champion in history. You find me one other person that’s wrestled in APW that has those same credentials. There’s no one.
The fans cheer for Cyrus as Chris pauses for a second to embrace the cheers before continuing
Chris: But next Sunday at Asylum, BDC, He may be bigger than me. He may be stronger, but I’m faster and most importantly, I am younger. BDC, he’s past his prime. He was past his prime years ago. And me, I’m at my best right now. I’m in the best shape in my life. Last time I saw BDC in the ring, he was slow, out of breath. I was worried that he’d have a heart attack in the middle of the ring.
Chris Defoe, I hope your listening. I’m taking this match very seriously. I saw what you did to Matt Weatherlight this past week. You we’re scheduled to face him but yet, you attack him backstage before the match and the match never took place. Well BDC, I hope your not dumb enough to try that on me, because I can guarantee you that it will not work. This match BDC, is your first official match in Asylum and I have no problem, giving you a welcoming gift, by giving you a loss. I’ve seen your story before Chris. Your holding on to the one last ounce of hope that one day you’ll be back on top. You keep coming back because you want to relive your glory days, but its time for you to realize, that ship has sailed and it left your ass behind. You don’t have the discipline or the heart anymore to succeed in APW. And you better believe that I busted my ass to damn long in this company, to let a has been like yourself, just come back whenever he feels like and take my spot on the roster.
And for the past couple of days, I’ve been on you tube, watching BDC matches, preparing for this match, and I got a game plan, and one thing I noticed about BDC, he’s nothing to fear. And the longer this match last, the better it is for me. But while watching his matches, I’ve been wondering, what does BDC stand for?
Some fan in the front row yells out “BIG DOUCHBAG CHRIS” which gets a nice laugh from everyone
Chris: Big Douche-bag Chris. You know, that name suits him well. BDC is a douche-bag. He’s a douce-bag for what he did to Matt Weatherlight at Asylum. He’s a douche-bag for coming and going in APW. And he’s a bigger douche-bag for thinking that he has what it takes anymore, to stand in the ring with a guy like myself.
This Sunday BDC, I’m going to do whatever it takes to make sure I beat you. Now, I got the fans behind me who want to see me kick your ass. And don’t be fooled at the power of the Headlock. My vicious headlock can take anyone down, especially you big man. Your time in the spot like is numbered BDC and I’m going to help you realize that you have no place in this business anymore. Your time is over, and my time is now. Chris Cyrus, he’s the future and I will prove it next Sunday. There is only room for one guy named Chris in APW and after next Sunday, there will only be one, because BDC, I’m sending your ass, STRAIGHT…TO….HELL
Chris drops the microphone as his music begins to play and Chris exit’s the ring through the ropes and heads towards the back as the scene fades.
