After a weeks worth of negotiations, for the first time ever, a CWC Championship will be defending inside an APW Ring.
The Current CWC North American Champion, Alexander Starrzoa will be defending his title against Asylum Megastar, Blade. The match is scheduled to take place on July 14th, on an episode of Overdrive.
When we asked the President of APW, Why make this match, this is what he had to say. “APW has been quiet recently in the wrestling world, and it was time to put the attention back on us, and what better way to do that than to schedule a match between one of my Megastars, against someone from CWC.”
More on this story as it develops.

Alexander StarrZoe (as he is known in the Pryde Wrestling Federation), is one of the best in the business. Many of you know that I have a lot of bad blood with former Pryde owner Logan Rutherford, but that doesn't mean I have any bad blood for Alexander or anyone else who is or has previously been employed there.
Regardless of his employment, he is a very hard worker in the efed community. Not only is he the PWF World Champion (and I know how hard it is to be PWF World Champion), he also assisted in pulling the company out of it's slump last year, when President Logan Rutherford resigned (IRL issues). Many don't know, but Will (Logan) and I have squashed our beef, and have actually quite recently spoken over the phone.
Blade, my advise to you would be to go all out. Go balls to the wall, and don't hold a damn thing back! You know that he's going to bring the heat, so bring it right back to him. Good luck Blade, I'll always pull for a fellow APW member. Although, I know how good ASZ is, and how hard he is to beat. But I've got all the faith in the world in you, and I'm sure you're up to the challenge.

Heh, this is also the guy I'll be facing in the tournament soon. I read this earlier and didn't even know it was him. Anyways, this should be a good match!

They're not closed yet, I think they're combining with the Asylum Wrestling Alliance. AWA is GWA's baby-federation. GWA closed, and AWA took it's place ran by different people under the same but different banner lol. I think they combine next month if I remember correctly.
Personally, I am proud of what I did there. My feud with Ace Montana, my Independent Championship run with Havok (having the company close down with me as last champion for sometime before being resurrected), and my World Championship run as Colson Toafa, are some parts of my career that I will always be very proud of. I'm sad, but glad to see it finally gone, as I still feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that when I left, it didn't take long (even though I was supposedly not pulling my own weight) for the company to close. It's a bitter sweet feeling, and a check mark in the "win" column of my efed career.

I read this when it first came up, and wasn't sure if I was allowed to reply to it. But now that everyone has ...
I am so excited by this! I know less about CWC than I would like, but I absolutely love inter-fed stuff. And that this is a title match? Even better!
Let's see more of this!

Thought it would be a a good way to get APW some more exposure. With people taking a break and the roster 'slimming' it cant do any harm can it?
Plus a few of the CWC feds have closed so hopefully a few free agents will check out the show any everything.
Plus we didnt really know how the champion situation worked at CWC, now we do, I am sure there will be plenty of chances for anyone who wants it after Golden Dreams in July!
