*Hotel Room, A Few Days Ago*
The room was neat, too neat for many a man's taste, but for a woman it was just the right type of room to cool off in, and relax in. Mitsuki, a teacher who had recently saved the life of a masked man by the name of Nova, was staying in this room till Nova returned with lunch, and then they would go to the park that they had saw on their way here via the cab that they had seen. For now, Mitsuki was just casually enjoying herself waiting for Nova while she sat at a desk made of mahogany, and drying her hair with a complimentary towel from the bathroom in the hotel room. She knew Nova would be here any minute now and just wanted to look her best for the man that had only a few months ago been dying in a hospital. Okay, maybe she was exagerating the dying part, but he could have died, and instead he had been saved by her. Sadly, Nova had no memory of who he was, and refused to take his mask off for anyone, though she had seen his face once. He had looked familiar to her as if she had seen him once before, but she had just misplaced the memory.
The doctors who had been working on Nova had told her that everything would be alright and that Nova had amnesia and that it would take time for him to recover fully. One doctor had said if he recovered at all, but she had ignored that. Choosing instead to believe that something positive would happen in Nova's life after all the negative things had occurred. She had taken him home with her and they had lived peacefully inside her apartment for a few weeks before Nova had decided to test the waters of professional fighting. It hadn't taken long for APW to taken a liking to him after all, he was quite the physical specimen, and had an in-ring presence that was phenomenal for an unknown talent. He had been recruited within a few weeks and then just as quickly he was on the road with the Overdrive brand. Mitsuki had thought that Nova would leave without her and that had made her sad for no apparent reason, but Nova asked her to come with him, and of course she said yes. She had quit her job and had started traveling with Nova and to say that the life of a fighter in a major wrestling corporation was living in the lap of luxury would be an understatement. No matter where Nova went he was given free things, treated like a king, and respected, but not once had he ever let it get to his head.
In fact, it made Nova try harder. Every morning, Nova would wake up, take himself outside, and do whatever it is that kept him in shape. He would usually come back two hours after leaving, say hello to her, and then go off to his room to meditate. He was a weird man, but she cared for him none the less. He treated her nice and took care of her in any way that he possibly could and that made her feel special. It was a new feeling for her, the feeling of being wanted that she had never once felt in her life, a feeling that not even her parents had given her, but now this total stranger was. She heard a gentle rapping on the door which snapped her out of her thoughts, she would then turn to look at the door, and go over to it as quickly as she could, opening it to find Nova standing there with a brown paper bag filled with the Chinese food that they had ordered.
Mitsuki: Nova! You finally made it.
Nova: I'm sorry, Mitsuki. It took the chefs a long time to cook up everything the way you wanted.
Mitsuki: No, worries!
For a moment, Nova stood at the door, and then cleared his throat as Mitsuki continued to stand in front of him blocking the way for him to get through.
Nova: May I come in?
Mitsuki let out a laugh, feeling like a total goof, and then stepped aside for Nova to enter.
Mitsuki: Sure can.
Nova: Thanks...it is like an oven out there.
Nova went over to the bed and sat down as Mitsuki closed the door, not wanting to let the cold air out after all. She then walked over to the chair she had been sitting at and sat down. Nova looked over to the camera in the room and for a few seconds said nothing, but then spoke up.
Nova: I know that everyone is expecting a long response, but right now...I just don't have time. I would love to give BDC the match that he wants, a true challenge, and an epic that he could add to the matches that have made him famous, but regrettably, I can't. I have to go out to lunch with Mitsuki and I have to then go visit a psychiatrist to piece together the nightmares I have been having...anyway, for now, this is Nova signing off, and know that soon I will bring all the shadows in the dark into the light of our sun.
