The following commercial was sent to the production office of Action Packed Wrestling in a non-addressed manila envelope. A letter requesting the video be broadcast was sent with said video. This is that video, shown in its entirety.
Our scene opens with a large panoramic shot of a National Bull Riding Association event. The stadium is packed to the rafters, eager fans ready to watch the action unfold. Our scene quickly switches to a shot of a somewhat fearful-looking bull rider, his hand being firmly secured in the mount rope by a riding crew. The bull is name Crusher...and the rider looks as if he's about to have that happen to him. The rider looks as if he's ready to say his prayers...until a clown hops up on the opening gate! The clown is decked out in a polka-dot zoot suit, red suspenders, a small curly blond wig, a polka dot bowler hat, and white face paint with red lips and eyelid accents. The clown looks very intelligent and, seeing the rider frazzled, looks determined to calm him down.
Rodeo Clown (calm tone of voice; talking to rider): 'Ey, lookit me. Lock in. 'Crusher' here has an extra deltoid muscle. Means he has exponentially greater bucking propulsion. Now you lean back, and you hang on. I'll be there.
Rider (feeling less afraid; talking to clown): Thanks, man. You rodeo clowns are a life saver.
Clown (taken aback; talking to rider): Rodeo clown? HAHAHAHAHA! (whimsical tone of voice) I-I'm with the birthday party!
The camera pans over as the clown begins waving at the stands, saying "Hello, you guys!" in a very kid-friendly, whimsical tone! We see a large group of kids wearing birthday hats, holding balloons, and playing with noisemakers! Our shot switches back to the clown hanging on the fence while still waving at the kids. Needless to say the bull rider is now scared out of his mind!
Clown (amusing tone of voice): Oh, but I DID get my ass kicked by Dr. Phate last night!
The camera zooms in on the priceless expression on the bull rider's face: a combination of fear, confusion, and knowledge of the upcoming pain he's about to endure! As the rider stares at the clown with this expression the clown laughs jokily and starts spinning his bow tie and bowler hat! The horn sounds, the clown hops off the gate, and the bull flies out of the gate as our scene switches to the following screen:
Voice over: Stay smart. Stay away from Dr. Phate.
