I watch what some would consider odd and outlandish wrestling. But i enjoy most of it much more than any product on American Television. So this is kinda a way to draw out others that watch weird shit. So what wrestling does everybody here watch:
WWE TNA ROH
DG: USA Dragon Gate NOAH New Japan Big Japan SMASH DDT Osaka Pro
CHIKARA PRO CMLL AAA Lucha Libre USA
WXW CZW EVOLVE Shimmer
Ice Ribbon OZ Academy Other Joshi.
Other Anything/
Can honestly say That in my life i've watched a little bit from all of this but in no way follow all these things. I personally first and foremost love Chikara. Honestly is the most enjoyable wrestling on the planet for my self. I also keep close tabs on Dragon Gate. Have been on and off with WWE but they are definitely what i grew up with and i've definitely been watching since all the Punk stuff started to happen. TNA I hate but i feel like i have to watch it, like its not gonna be around for very long and it just needs to be seen. Idk, been watching it since Aries got signed especially. ROH I also really enjoy. Itll be interesting to see how the new TV deal works out. And yea, i guess i also have been getting into Tajiri's SMASH over in japan. And a litle bit of Osaka Pro recently. Anyways, feel free to discuss anything you watch. Or if you have any question about any of the places above, feel free to ask.

You watch CZW, eh?
Hmmm...
Which region? (Keep in mind that CZW is almost like NWA in a way, being affiliated with several companies around the states/provinces). I know that certain places (Like Indiana) don't get TV time. However, CZW has pulled their backing of Indiana, and are no longer affiliated. However, Insanity Pro Wrestling doesn't really need them anymore. IPW is doing pretty good these days.

I follow:
WWE Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Ring of Honor
I used to follow a lot more (about 30). But I'm married with a son now and don't have the time.

As for mine, I don't follow too many independant promotions anymore. I used to try and bring their talent in, but it got too tiring after sometime. Anywho, I stick to the basics of WWE, TNA, and ROH... However, I still follow CZW, work for IPW, and do promoting for WCWO here in Indiana as well.

You work for IPW? Wow i actually know what that is. But only from random surfing of smart mark video. Home of Younger/Vortekz and such? Maybe idk thats more of a guess. But yea I was real hard into CZW when i first got into independents, but it kinda meant in the direction meh so i haven't paid much attention to it. Heard Akuma is doing horribly there. BTW i almost don't think were talking about the same company as i definitely wouldn't liken them to the NWA now or ever. and i dont believe they have TV anywhere. Unless local philly.
So do you book for IPW or what do you do there. If you still book there, you know what young tag team i would bring in. Once again im biased towards my love of chikara but Obariyon and Kodama are a young team (i'm sure would work for cheap) that have impressed the shit out of me. And they're very unchikara if that product turns you off. Dont wear masks just have face paint. Worth a look, as i feel they could really be a hit on the indies.
On a seperate note, im in the middle of moving and honestly ill prolly just be watching ROH on line when it starts and Japanese stuff i find for a while. Sowhere ill be ill kinda be forced to stop watching horrible American Televised rasslin. Ill miss punk...and not much else.

I only follow WWE, a little TNA, I read spoilers thats really about it. And the local indy scene in my region, besides that, I don't have time to invest into any other promotions because work and APW takes up most of my time

WWE got really good for a while recently. But then just kinda fizzled out.

WWE has been enjoyable for the past 3 months now. I wouldn't say it has Fizzled out, its just that it takes time to build to something good, and It seems to me with Triple H more in charage, he's pushing the product into the right direction, especially with the people WWE has been signing lately.

It's a lot better than it was a year ago. But it's not as good as it was leading into Money in the Bank. CM Punk needs to win at Night of Champions though. If he doesn't, that feud is over and they need a good money match for Survivor Series. Or maybe a good cell match between the two at Hell in a Cell.

Long story short, a Indy promotion in Indiana was financially backed by CZW for about 6 month or so. It was a lost cause, and CZW caved. They couldn't take the money hit anymore. However, IWL changed their name to CZW for a while. All the titles were renamed to Indiana based championships, and they failed even more.
Nevertheless, have been doing some recent promotion for WCWO, and have been working with IPW since I was 16. My old drummer is the brother in law of Junior (the owner). Great place, excellent matches, and really low ego. A little politics, however there are some vets that keep the young guys in check. Best part is, no one is a "has been" just yet lol. Most of the talent (Like Sam) are in their prime. I don't think Younger is there anymore, I could be wrong. Haven't been to the last 2 shows. But Scotty is still around. I love Scotty, classic dude. Real old school in some aspects, but meshes well with his style.
Allow me to also explain my earlier post. IPW (if you don't know) was once affiliated with CZW. IPW was more of a "farmhouse" out of Indy, much like FCW is to WWE. They loved to take the talent, but it hurt IPW. Junior (being a smart business man) decided to instill commitments from talent, for better pay. He took a money hit, big time, but it really paid off. Needless to say, IPW doesn't need anything from anyone, anymore. I love that company.
And my last bit, I would like to say R.I.P. to JC Bailey. He was a young kid who had a bright future in the sport, and was found dead a year ago, August 30th. He started his career at 16 in Evansville, Indiana. I met him when he was on his way to CZW. He was so talented, like an Owen Hart. He was the son of a promoter, and ran around the buildings every night. He had a natrual talent, and charisma that could only be compared to that of the greats. Everyone misses him, and even though he had his issues, everybody loved him. He was a big influance on me, and I have him to thank (mostly), for getting me back in shape after I tore my ACL and broke my ankle. I got HUGE, and he pushed me. He made fun of me a lot (in good fun), to motivate me, and really made me feel like "one of the guys". I also have him to thank for a lot of good memories at shows. He was an excellent "ribber". I mean, EPIC!
