The scene is Southern Texas, home of The U. Camera’s are sit up everywhere in the arena as we see Shane Borderland training his friend, Eric Jackson.

Sweat beads pour off the head of Jackson as he is going through some rough intense training with Borderland.

COME ON NOW, IM NOT TRAINIG NO PUSSY!

AHHHHH!!!
After a few minutes, Shane decides its time for a small break. Him and Eric sit down on the mats of the arena.

What in the hell man. You act like we are in the Olympics or something.

If you cant hang, then quit.

I can hang man. But damn.
\\Shane Borderland//
Look, if you want to be the best, you have to take out the best. But that will never happen because he is your trainer.

Uhh huh. So whats up with your match?

We will get to that in a second, right now, lets talk about you. Listen, your either in or out. By that, i mean. You can tell everything from the first infliction of pain that you give to your opponent. Either they are going to back the fuck down, or get the hell in. Thats why im training you because you get the hell in. You are not scared of anything, and that makes me see potential in you.

Scared is something that you visualize in your head. There is no reason to be scared, this is the chance to prove yourself that you can do anything. Being scared of something will always hold you back. You will see what i mean, when you make it to the big dogs. I just want you to remember one thing.

Well Eric, this probably has to be my biggest match yet. Im in the ring with Rico Casteel. A damn good superstar. He is one of the top ranked in the APW. So this is going to be a treat for me. Plus im in a battle royal, first blood i have to say. But its a spot to the number one contendership for the APW World Heavyweight Title.

Who knows, im more concentrating on Casteel right now. Plus there is one thing that bugs me about the battle royal and that is Kash is in it also.

Yes. This is going to be our first match against each other. SO no idea what to expect. But i will think of that when the time comes. Right now i got my mind set of Rico.

Because man. I have been in battle royal’s before, but a singles match with Rico, has to be my biggest match yet in the APW. When i show the world that i can beat the Heavyweight Champion, then the more i will get noticed. Sure me and Kash are tag champs, but winning a singles title is where it is. I have yet won a singles title, so thats on my to do list.

Its about me, rising to everyone’s standards and beating the champ in a one on one match is how to prove it. Casteel has come along way and ill be damned if he is going to walk away with another victory. Especially if i have anything to say about it. I dont want you to get me wrong or anything, because the battle royal is a big match to me also. And thats in my mind as well as this singles match with Casteel. But i just want to pound the champs head in and show that i World Heavyweight material. Got it?

Asylum has set some goals for me that must be done. First it was a tag title shot, done. Second it was a tag title defense, done. Then another, and now i have two matches, in the same night. A singles match with Casteel and a first blood battle royal match for the chance to be the World Heavyweight Champion. The only thing is that it involves my tag partner as well. So who the hell knows what will happen in that match, but i will be prepared for it. Same for Casteel. I know he thinks this is going to be a walk in the park for him, but once he see’s what im about, then he will reconsider. Im sure Casteel is kicking back right now, knowing he has this match won. Well he better not be so sure about that. I am giving him my all and when they raise my hand at the end of the match, he will know that im coming for that gold real soon. Might be sooner than i think, because even though i will have already had the best match of my career. I will still show no mercy in the battle royal. This Asylum is going to be my night. This is the time for me to step up to the plate and get my well deserved chance at being World Heavyweight Champion.

See in this battle royal, i know that every man is going to be working their ass of just like i will be. Every man wants this shot, just like i do. So everyman is going to do what it takes to win this match. We all have the same idea for this battle royal, but that also means everyone is going to be working twice as hard for it. See after Rico, i will walk into that battle royal, beat everyone else and then walk on to World Heavyweight Championship, Eric. That is my next step. Beat Rico, walk out of the battle royal knowing that i am number one contender for the Heavyweight title. See Eric, i have had a lot of people throw shit my way. I have had people shit on me, but since i have been in the APW. Things has started to look clearly. I know what i need to do in life. I know what needs to happen. I see myself future APW World Heavyweight Champion. It might not be today, or tomorrow, but i know that one day i will walk out from underneath that titan tron with World Heavyweight gold strapped around my waist. So i think its about damn time, that someone steps up and gives it to you. So i guess that person has to me, and you know what? So i just want you to know that this match isnt going to be easy for you, so you better be ready for this. No games, no cheap shots, just you and me, in the ring battling this out like gladiators. I dont see anyone else that deserves this chance besides us. Who knows though, one of the competitors could walk out with the win. Saying that makes me bring up my next lesson for you. Never under estimate your opponent. Because when you do that, everything that you have trained for, everything that you have said that will happen, never works. Always walk in with the feeling of a damn good match, know matter who its against. Because the moment you doubt your opponent, you doubt yourself.
