The scene opens at the home of Branden Harvey. Harvey is sitting at his computer desk with an astouded look on his face. He looks into the camera and begins to speak.
Harvey: Wow.
He looks like he can not bring himself to speak. Tears start welling in his eyes.
Harvey: Just ... Wow.
He takes a deep breath before resigning himself to speak his mind.
Harvey: A few hours ago, I found out, after throwing an understandable fit, that I am going to be in the Asylum main event to figure out who will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at APW One Night in Hell.
I threw that fit because I did not know that I was going to be in this match. I figured that APW was once again going to screw me over by trying to put me out of the match that is rightfully mine.
At first, after finding out, I was surprised. I started thinking that maybe, just maybe, APW was not out to get me. That maybe, just maybe, this conspiracy was all in my head. But then I realized two things.
Number one, I was put in a match to "earn" what I have already visibly earned. That is a prime example of the conspiracy APW has against me. Against the trailer park crowd. APW sees me as "trailer park trash" and does not want me as their World Heavyweight Champion. At APW Shockwave, I pushed Rico Casteel to his limit. I only lost because I was looking over my shoulder for Bid Daddy Chris to come back into the match. I had no way of knowing, at the time, that he had suffered a career ending injury at the hands of Rico Casteel. APW Management knows that, if I were put in a one on one match against Rico Casteel, I would win. That is why they have put me in this match against eight other competitors, probably giving the other competitors explicit instructions to take me out as early as possible.
Typical APW.
Number two, they schedule me in a match against Tommy Knoxville before the Number One Contenders Match. Reginald Schimdt showed favoritism towards Jade Jero and Madok Mortalis by not booking them in a match prior to this match. But they book the man that they know will destroy Rico Casteel in a one on one match in a match before the Number One Contenders Match. That is garbage. But it is also...
Typical President Jeff.
You see, APW knows just how good I am. They know that I can and will destroy each and every person in this match single handedly. So they first need to tire me out before the match as well as instruct everyone to attack me. But they have forgotten one thing.
THEY ARE DEALING WITH BRANDEN HARVEY!!!!!!!!!
They are dealing with the greatest wrestler on the face of the planet. They are dealing with the one man that can take eight of the best wrestlers out in an eight on one handicap match. I do not care if I have faced you time and time again, like Jason Kash, or if I have never even heard of you, like Jade Jero. I will destroy each and every one of you until you are gushing blood. I will become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. And I will go on to APW One Night in Hell to do the same to Rico Casteel and become the World Heavyweight Champion.
Harvey gets a grin on his face as the scene fades.
