Here's what went down involving the Red Shield Mafia on SNW Saturday Night Onslaught:
Gordon Heath and the Sports Nutz stationed police officers outside the Gordietorium to prevent the Red Shield Mafia from being able to enter the building. This came in handy as a hummer pulled up, and coming out of the hummer were Damien Walker, Young Mannie and J.R. Kingston. Seeing how beefed up the security was, they realized it wouldn't be wise to try and test them, with Young Mannie complaining about the lack of such security at APW Shockwave.
After commercial break, Gordon Heath and the Sports Nutz were in the ring, explaining why they had attacked the Red Shield Mafia. They talked about how they had signed on to work for APW, and along the way, they ran into the Red Shield Mafia. While they had developed a rivalry at first, they had grown to respect them for having a similar "take no prisoners" attitude. Gordon Heath mentioned how he, Shaun Kilgore and the Sports Nutz forged an alliance with the Red Shield Mafia, and complained that the thanks they got was the Mafia beating them down, seemingly running them out of APW. He said that the Red Shield Mafia shouldn't have been surprised by the attack at this year's APW Shockwave, as it was a receipt the Mafia had coming to them, and that he, Shaun Kilgore and the Sports Nutz waited this long so that the Red Shield Mafia wouldn't see it coming.
Gordie and the Sports Nutz then issued a challenge to the Red Shield Mafia for a match at Natural Selection, which prompted SNW co-owner, Codi Shane, to come out and announce that she pulled some strings and was able to allow retired Red Shield Mafia member and APW alumnus, Diamante Valentine, into the building. Valentine entered the ring and told Gordie and the Sports Nutz that if they wanted to take care of business with Mannie and Kingston, then so be it, but he wanted to be left out of this whole ordeal. He cited that he was happy to be a loving father and didn't want to be crippled before his kids grew up. Gordie and the Sports Nutz seemed like they were having a change of heart until Shaun Kilgore came running in through the crowd and smashing a steel chair into the back of Valentine's head. He, Gordie and the Sports Nutz proceeded to beat Valentine down until an army of SNW officials, at the behest of a screaming Codi Shane, ran down to the ring to get Shaun, Gordie and the Sports Nutz off of Valentine.
Now Gordon Heath and the Sports Nutz are going to allow the Red Shield Mafia into the Gordietorium at the next Saturday Night Onslaught to see if the Mafia accepts the Greatness' challenge for a match at Natural Selection.
