I know this thread has probably been discussed before but I'm too lazy to search. Trevor Jennings app made me think . . .if you had to watch the matches of only one wrestler of all time, who would it be?
I'd have to go hands down with Arn Anderson. Nobody could tell a story in the ring like he did!

Only ONE? Ohhh...Chris Benoit or HBK, always entertaining for their own obvious reasons.

Honestly, mine would be Triple H.
Being somewhat in the business, I constantly am forced to admire his in-ring ability. On the mic, he's stale, sometimes repetitive, but so is John Cena. Where he differs from Cena, is his ability to know where he is at all times, inside the ring.
Not only would I be able to watch great wrestling if I chose Triple H, but he's also been in the ring with just about everyone you can think of. That would also give me a variety of opponents to watch him face off against.
In my eyes, Triple H is probably the second best wrestler of all time. He's got pure talent, and knows where he is at all times. He's always got something in his mind, and his moves are planned 10 steps ahead. He knows how to hold the fans in the palm of his hands, and he can do anything you ask him to. He'll never be able to touch Shawn though, who I believe is the very best of all time.

Raven
I watched ECW from day I and yes, I remember WWF's Johnny Polo. Do you? This guy could handle the mic like no other of his time, and he was one hardcore badass motherfucker! Thee best! The Nest. The Flock in ECW, the god damn Raven Effect! a DDT taught to him by Jake The Snake! Who trained both Raven and Diamond Dallas Page. Lordy lordy...Can't forget about what he did in WWE. Revolutionizing the 24/7 Hardcore Title! Friggin awesome! Epic fueds with Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu and DDP...Plus, Raven was the first ever character I used in a efed back in the day, haha
Oh, the memories...

Can't forget about what he did in WWE. Revolutionizing the 24/7 Hardcore Title! Not sure where you're coming from here. If I remember right, Crash Holly regretfully made the remark that he'd defend it 24/7... Not trying to start anything, just hoping that you fully explain what you meant. Other than that, I agree with you. Scotty Flamingo... I mean Raven was and still is an AMAZING character. the Raven character could really stand the test of time, and the role could never have been played any better. Scott's a great guy, met him only once. However, he definitely left an impression on my brain.

Crash Holly did create it, I never said Raven created it. I said he 'Revolutionized' it. Steve Blackman was also pretty damn good then too, lol

Bret Hart as always been my all time favorite wrestler and always will be. When I first started watching Wrestling, Bret was starting to get pushed, and as a kid, you end up liking who WWE tells you to like. But yah, growing up, I always remember loving his matches. The King of the Ring 93, The Steel Cage Match with Owen, and the Iron Man Match with HBK, are some of the mathces that always stand out when I think of Bret Hart matches.

Match was one of my favorite matches of all time. RVD Vs Jeff Hardy at Vengence the same night Austin turned on WWE for the Alliance, that is on my match listing too.

Who else put Canada on the Map like Bret Hart? Let's be honest, he was the gateway to guys from the Northern Cold. Jericho, Edge, Christian, Owen, Lance Storm, Benoit, all of them can give thanks to the man who made Pink a Manly Color.

Wow, just one wrestler?
Bret Hart.
The guy could wrestle a broom and still make it look good. I remember his matches with Curt Henning, another favourite of mine, and, well, the guy was just awesome!
Undertaker deserves a shout out also. He's probably the best big guy in the business.

I miss MVP in WWE. Truth be told he got a shit deal probably in part because of how close him and Benoit had become when MVP first came to WWE. Japan is a wild trip for anyone and any Wrestler would benefit from being over there and just getting the experience but it's time for dude to come home. I was a fan, he had good promos and worked good matches and had help from Benoit which couldn't have been too bad on someone's career. Well unless they end up like..Benoit...change subject.

There are a lot of people I used to like who kind of lost their luster which is sad. I used to love Triple H and Undertaker but now I could care less about either. Heck, I liked the New Age Outlaws back in the day and now they are jokes. Raven is another one...
My favs though (who haven't lost their appeal over time) are Macho Man, The Rock, Stone Cold, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Mickie James, Trish Stratus, Gail Kim, Dusty Rhodes, Chris Sabin and AJ Styles.

how can anybody choose just 1?
benoit foley jake the snake brett hart michaels rick rude kurt henning chris candido
the list just goes on and on. regardless of the wrestler, they all busted ass and sacrificed to entertain and even if that suck *cough*cena*cough*, they still deserve respect in some sense of the word. anybody who has done any indy wrestling would agree.

Picking one is difficult, but the last pro wrestler I really marked out over was Kurt Angle during his first few years in WWF/E. I watched Raw and Smackdown solely for this guy because he had it all. People always say Bret Hart could wrestle a broom and make it look good, well so could Angle in his prime, and he could wrestle any kind of match and sell it well. Not only a great worker with a superb moveset, excellent mic skills, a brilliant goofy gimmick that produced some classic vignettes. Also, he put a lot of guys over that went on to receive main event pushes from this. That's a mark of a good pro for me. I've not followed Angles career since about 2003, so no idea about his TNA work, but I always loved his WWF/E work 1999-2003

I liked Kurt also to me he is a really good wrestler. What do your think about James Storm? I think it about time they let the dude have a go with a single run.
