Honestly bud, the best thing you can do is point out something you see, even if it turns out to be totally wrong. I was hella wrong last game in my assessments...but stepping on toes pointing at people at least shows a less-than-passive attitude that some scum adopt. I'm not saying you should be crazily voting or anything like that, but if you see something we don't, let us know! And I think the inactivity is based on a few factors. Some people might still be confused on their roles and not wanting to post because of it (although that's unlikely). The most likely reason is just people are a bit winded after ONIH, and aren't posting as much. I'm going to try and avoid the long stretches of inactivity I was plagued with last game (although I won't be around like at all tomorrow). Do we have any thoughts on a day once lynch? I mean...we always talk about it, and it never happens. Could be a way to get a slow game into high gear. Any thoughts? |

First, i think there's probably 3 mafia. that still leaves almost triple the town. Second, a great way to start us jumping suspiciously on everything is to have a lynch for no reason.

I think I'm with Sally on this one, actually. That CWC mafia game I was in, people started lynching from the get-go and half the mafia was gone in like three days. Now that tells me one of two things.
1) The mafia in that game blows.
2) Proactive lynching might actually garner better results.
I have no idea who I would want to lynch, since I was going on the usual APW mafia strategy of waiting a day before doing anything. I guess I would look at Branden, but it's hard to lynch someone that is the mod and/or already dead.

atkin and jamesv both posted odd comments and my random guess would have to go to jeff. no offense just but it seems harvey pegs u to be scum every game for u to only turn out town. it wouldnt surprise me if he made u scum this game just to throw us off ur scent.

I was kinda leaning towards atken too, only because the only comment he has made so far was about receiving his role, whereas everyone else has at least said something more. Maybe it's a shitty reason, but it's day one here. You can't expect genius level powers of deduction on no info.

I said to lynch using a random number generator, not my fault it was ignored  Seriously though, I don't see how many comments are any equally more or less valid than stating the obvious. Actually stating the obvious is more a scum action than it is town. The "let's look like I'm helping but without any of that scum hunting nonsense". Now considering the content so far from everyone, no one is particular more or less scummy looking than we came in out of day 1 apathy so... Random number generator. |

I agree with Atkins coming across a bit suspicious as well but I am going to abstain from voting entirely. We have nothing really solid to work with at the end of the day.
Yes, lynching randomly might turn up a positive result and lynch a mafia member; but we have even a better chance on lynching a townie and what if we end up losing someone with a investigative role on top of all that? Fuck that noise. I rather bide time to allow people's roles to do the bidding before going in on a blind lynch just because things are boring.

Idk about this random number thing. 7 people aren't going to get the same random number. The odds are way against it. Also, this way, we more than double our risk of lynching a townee, because we're not going off of fact. We'd be using a RANDOM number and lynch a RANDOM person. Why risk it? Mafia always seems to win because we can't stop lynching each other.
