AHHHHH. FUCK THAT HURTS!!!
The scene opens up with Chris Cyrus in the medical room where a trainer just pulled on his arm, popping his shoulder into place. Its November 6th, just moments following the Chris Cyrus Vs Katrina Olivetti match from the Asylum Super Show.
Trainer: How did that feel?
Chris: How the hell do you think it felt!
Trainer: I want to you rotate your shoulder a bit and stretch it out.
Chris begins doing that as the trainer ask him a question.
Trainer: So at which point did you know there was something wrong with your shoulder.
Chris: I remember when Arcadia put me through the table, I had a sharp pain in it, and it shot down my arm, making it numb. Which is why I couldn’t kick out. But then, when Yoko Misawa grabbed me afterwards, and gave me a muscle buster, He dropped me on my shoulder, and I instantly heard it popped.
Trainer: Wait a second, did you say your arm went numb?
Chris: Yeah.
Trainer: That’s not good.
Chris: I got feeling back in it now. Its fine.
Trainer: That’s not normal Chris. I strongly suggest you go get that checked out by a doctor, maybe get an X-ray or a MRI. If that happened, along with your shoulder popping out, you may have some serious damage done to your shoulder.
Chris: I think I’ll be fine.
Trainer: Chris, this could be career threatening if you don’t get it checked out. If its nothing, then the doctors will tell you and you can go on your way, but if its something, and you do nothing about it, you could risk permanent injury that can stay with you for the rest of your life.
Chris lets out a big sigh
Chris: Alright, I’ll go get it check out. You know more about this stuff than I do.
Trainer: Chris, you’re a great talent, I’d hate to see something bad happen to you.
Chris: Good to know there’s guys like you working here. Thanks.
Chris gets up and leaves the medical room as the scene fades.

The scene opens back up on November 14th inside a doctors waiting room. Chris Cyrus is sitting on a chair, reading a magazine. The secretary walks into the room with a clip board.
Secretary: Chris?
Chris closes the magazine and puts it back where he got it on a table and stands up and follows the secretary into the doctors office. She puts the clipboard on a counter
Secretary: The doctor will be in to see you very shortly.
She walks out a Chris takes a seat in a chair and waits. After about a five minute wait, the Doctor enters the room.
Doctor: Chris, hows it going today.
Chris: Depends, do you have some news for me?
Doctor: Ha ha, let me see here
The Doctor grabs the clip board which has a folder clipped to it. He opens up the folder and pulls out to pictures and pins them up on the wall for Chris to see.
Doctor: These are images from the test I sent you for last week for your shoulder. Here is you left shoulder, its perfectly fine. Now, if you look at your right shoulder, you can see that there’s tissue damage here, and nerve damage here, which is probably why your arm went numb. But all that can be headed with a little bit of shoulder exercise and some medication.
Chris: That’s good to hear.
Doctor: But here’s the bad news. You see this right there, that’s your rotator cuff. When your shoulder popped out, it did some damage to it. Its not server, but the only way to fix it, is with surgery.
Chris: And what if I don’t get surgery.
Doctor: Well, for anyone else, I wouldn’t recommend surgery. Only because this kind of injury can cause some discomfort, but with a little medication and therapy, can fix it up in about 6 months. But for you, and your line of work and the physicality of it, I strongly recommend Surgery. You’ll be out for maybe 6 to10 months. But you’ll be good as new afterwards.
Chris: And what if I don’t get surgery and continue to wrestle.
Doctor: Like anything else, you could cause more damage. You might tare the entire rotator off and then you will have no choice but to have surgery and it can take anywhere from a year, to maybe even 2 years to be completely healed.
Chris: Well…..This sucks.
Doctor: I understand it’s a big decision for you. Take some time to think about it. If you want to have surgery, then let us know, and we’ll schedule something for ya. But until then, theres really nothing more we can do until you decide what you want.
Chris: Well thanks Doc. Let me talk to some people and I’ll let you know. Oh, one more question, is your name Matt by any chance?
Doctor: No, it isn't.
Chris: Oh well, it would have been pretty awesome if it was. See ya Doc
The two shake hands and the doctor leaves the room as the scene fades to black.

The scene opens back up backstage at tonight’s Asylum show. Chris Cyrus is in his dressing room, in his ring gear with a trainer taping up his shoulder. The trainer finishes up and Chris looks up at the camera and speaks.
Chris: Two weeks ago, Yoko Misawa put my career in jeopardy. Doctors have told me that I shouldn’t even be wrestling Yoko tonight. Right now, my should is messed up. Right now, I’m in a lot of pain. But I asked myself the question, what kind of man would I be, to let someone hurt me and let them get away with it? I wouldn’t be much of a man now would I.
Yoko, two weeks ago on Asylum, after you attacked Arcadia, then put your hands on me, you just crossed a line that you shouldn’t have crossed. I don’t know what your intensions we’re, or what point you we’re trying to make by attack a man who had just went through a table after a competitive match, but I’m not going to sit here and let you get away with it. You put your hands on the wrong man punk. If you think because your like 7 feet tall, over three hundred pounds and from Japan, means you can do anything you want here in APW and attack anyone you want, then you have another thing coming. I know exactly what your trying to prove. Your trying to make a name for yourself. You want to show all the boys in the locker room that your dominate. That your size and strength is something that should be feared. But guess what, no one fears you, especially me. Some might call me stupid for still wanting to face a man like you with a busted up shoulder, but I don’t care.
Two weeks ago, when Arcadia defeated me, she proved to me that night that she’s deserving of being the Suicidal Champion. I gained back my respect for her. I still don’t agree with her actions, but I really do respect her. So tonight Yoko, not only am I fighting for some revenge on myself, but for revenge on Arcadia. She’s a tenth the size of you and you want to attack her like that. Well, I don’t know how much you understand English, but get someone to translate for you. In our country, and especially in APW. We treat women with some respect, we don’t attack women the way you did. Especially sexy women who enjoys video games. Yoko, you need to be taught a lesson in respect and I’m the man who will do it.
And your probably laughing at me now, saying, how can someone like me teach you a lesson. Well, let me remind everyone, I’m an APW Original, I’ve seen it all here. I’m an Grand Slam Champion. I’ve held the Xtreme Title for 364 days. I wrestle in Xtreme matches without using weapons, now that’s Xtreme! You Yoko, you’re a walk in the park. Your just a big clumsy goof. It doesn’t matter how much you weight, how strong you are or how tall you are, because when your on your back, looking up at the lights, you’re the same size as everyone else.
You have more than one advantage going into this match, with your size and my shoulder being messed up. But that doesn’t mean I’m ready to give up or throw in the towel or just lay down for you. I Don’t quit. Tonight Yoko, I’m going to bring everything I have. I’m not going to stop until I pin you. Tonight, I’m going to make you wish you never put a hand on me. I’m going to make you wish that you regret every coming back to APW. Tonight Yoko, when its all said and done, and the smoke is cleared. After you get up after I beat you. You will realize that I just sent you Straight to Hell. And you want to know why? Its because I’m SIMPLY….AWESOME!!!
See you tonight!
