Final write upJ. Edgar Hoover found himself in a tricky spot. As he sat tied to a an execution chair; the only thing he could think about was the last conversation he had beforehand. Donnie Brasco tried to warn J. Edgar Hoover of the threat but it was largely ignored. J. Edgar Hoover felt he was protected by the government... but the government was just as corrupt as the mafia... Donnie Brasco was truly the only man to understand the mafia... but the harvard graduates with their slick hair and fancy suites were far too superior to listen. ''You don't know what you're getting yourself into...'' Donnie Brasco reminded him time and time again. John ''The Teflon'' Don Gotti stood in-front of J. Edgar Hoover; with Tony Montanas tommy gun in his posession. ''Any last words?'' John Gotti mocked as Peter ''One Eyed'' Gotti and Sammy ''The Bull'' Gravano joined him by his side. A single tear dripped down the face of J. Edgar Hoover; not for the city he would leave behind but for the new suite that was bound to be torn to shreds along the rest of his body. Sammy Gravano walked over and slashed his throat. The FBI director thrashed back and forth as John Gotti laughed uncontrollably. ''Now that was just mean. He can hardly even breath like that... let me help him out!'' and John Gotti did help him out. He give him an extra 70 holes to breath through. Dead night five: J. Edgar Hoover- Knuckles- Town CopPRESENT DAY 2011An old lady sits at a table; as her fragile hand wields a pen. She writes this message... It was a hot sunny day, a lifetime ago. I still remember stopping by the icecream shop, as my dad held my hand. The warmth from his grasp is something that I can still feel today, it remains as unspeakable as the words that failed to escape his lips as he died on the side walk right infront of me.
Ever since that day, I have been fighting for justice. Only god knows how I have survived this long; the regime of bloodhound dogs hunting me at every turn; avoiding death as quick as a bullet with my name etched in it's outtershell.
Not much has changed since then; blood still flows through the streets and every week the local citzens are forced to pay at least half of their earnings to the local tax collectors. Our democracy, a mockery; as every four years, we are left to choose between The Gambinos or The Gambinos but the illusion of a vote is still enough to keep our hearts content.
Our country is a narco-terrorist state; run by corrupt mafia men others refer to politicians... but some say, at least we're not as bad as the chineese.
If there's any bright side in all this; I know who my fathers killers are.
(At this very moment, her door is kicked in)
... and I know who are mine too. FLASHBACKThe sun beams down onto the city as people from all walks of life crowd the new york streets. On top of a city building a lone gunman with a snipe rifle strapped to his back walks towards the edge of a building, overlooking a peice of the city below. A block away, a black chevrolet camaro sits parked right on the corner with a figure snorting a line of cocaine. We move further down the street where we see a homeless crack head stumbling on down the street uttering something about government corruption.... and then we find our hero. A man holding hands with his young daughter no older then six outside the local ice cream bar. So, who was the killer on this day? The sniper on the roof was Charlie ''Lucky'' Luciano; the don of the Genovese Family. He trained his sniper rifle to the head of T ony Soprano... ... but a goddamned crackhead came stumbling his way, throwing his sights off. The crackhead had just received his hit from two local police officers; one of them receiving their supply straight from The Lucheese Don, Anthony ''Gaspipe'' Casso. The black Chevrolet parked on the corrner... well that was it. The figure was none other then John Gotti snorting a line of cocain ready to for a hit. His driver, Sammy ''The Bull'' Gravano drove down the street as John ''The Teflon Don'' fired a single shot catching Tony Soprano in the back of the head; splattering his brains all over the concrete... They saw the little girl look their way and knew one day, she'd would have to meet a similar fate. WINNER:The Gambino Family

ROLES
The Gambino Family
John ''The Teflon Don'' Gotti Player: Kurt Noble
- You are the godfather of the Gambino Crime Family. Every night, you will send me a name of someone you want to kill and the hitman will carry it out. However, the cities streets are a tricky place and the poplace has gotten wise to your ways. This means that each kill you send for will only have a success rate of 33.3%. However, as the ''Teflon Don'' it's going to take more then one shot from any opposing force to cap you. You win when the mafia wins and all opposing forces are eliminated.
Peter "One Eye" Gotti Player: JamesV
- You are Peter Gotti of the Gambino Crime Family. Every night your boss will send you out to kill his target. If at anytime your don is taken out, you'll take over operations as boss. Your boss has a bullet proof vest. In the event he is lynched and hasn't yet used it, you'll pick it up. You win when the mafia wins and all opposing forces are eliminated.
Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano Player: JC
- You are Salvatore Gravano of the Gambino Crime Family. Although you're aligned with the mafia; you also have close ties with the cops as a secret informant. Each night you have the ability to investigate one person in the game and discover what role thay have in the game. You win when the mafia wins and all opposing forces are eliminated.
The Genovese Family
Charlie "Lucky" Luciano Player: Phil Atkens
- You are the godfather of the Genovese Family. Every night, you will send me a name of someone you want to kill and the hitman will carry it out. However, the cities streets are a tricky place and the poplace has gotten wise to your ways. This means each night kill you send for will only have a success rate of 33.3%. However, because you're ''lucky'' you will have one special bullet with a sniper rifle. This bullet has a success rate of 100%.
Hitman: Giuseppe "Peter the Clutch Hand" Morello Player: Arcadia
- You are Giuseppe ''Peter the Cluch Hand'' Morello of the Genovese Crime Family. Every night your boss will send you out to kill his target. If at anytime your don is taken out, you'll take over operations as boss. Your don has a special sniper rifle with a single bullet. You'll pick this weapon up, if he dies and hasn't used it already. You win when the mafia wins and all opposing forces are eliminated.
Vincent "Chin" Gigante Player: Blade
- You are Vincent ''Chin'' Giante of the Genovese Crime Family. Every night, you have the ability to intemdiate another player and thus roleblocking them for the entire night phase. You can do this as many times to whoever you'd like because nobody fucks with the chin.
The Lucheese Family
Anthony "Gaspipe" Casso Player: Johnny Rebel
- You are the godfather of the Lucheese Family. Every night, you will send me a name of someone you want to kill and the hitman will carry it out. However, the cities streets are a tricky place and the poplace has gotten wise to your ways. This means each night kill you send for will only have a success rate of 33.3%. Fortunately for you, in ten years from now you'll turn out to be a government rat. This means that anytime you are targetted by an opposing force; you choose which one of your buddies will take the hit for you.
Ettore "Eddie" Coco Player: CJ Gates
- You are Ettore "Eddie" Coco hitman of the Lucheese Family. Every night your boss will send you out to kill his target. If at anytime your don is taken out, you'll take over operations as boss. However you should know that your don has something over you. Anytime he is targetted in anyway, he can make you or your scum buddy take the fall for it. In the event your don is taken out before you; you'll appear to be town for the rest of the game even if killed. You win when the mafia wins and all opposing forces are eliminated.
Frank "Big Frank" Lastorino Player: Branden Harvey
- You are Frank ''Big Frank'' Lastorino of the Lucheese Family. Every night, you have the ability to remove the tongue of anyone in the game. For a entire day phase this person will no longer be able to talk, vote or even take a shit. You may not silence someone two nights in a row. Oh, and yes... you do get to keep the tongue as a souvenner from your unlucky target.
TOWN ROLES
Donnie Brasco Player: Pence Weatherlight
- You are Donnie Brasco. You're a government agent going undercover into the world of crime. Quite possibly, you're in the most dangerous position of all in this little game. In fact, it's highly likely that you don't even make it out of alive with all the death that seems to circle around you in this dirty world. Due to your connections to the mafia; you're a flavor cop. This means that each night you may investigate someone and find out who they are and what ability they have if they have one. Trust me, it'll be more help then you think. In the event you run into a certain town memeber during the night; you'll discover you are both town and this will open a powerful town-aligned intelligence agency within the game. You win when the town wins and all mafia are eliminated.
Tony Montana Player: Kaji
- You are Tony Montana. Some say, your just a fictional account of the real mafia boss... but you're here to show these other motherfuckers who's the real deal is. Remember that badass tommy gun you were armed with in Scarface? At anytime you are targetted by a crime family, you will mow the cockroaches down with it... say hello to my little freind! Just know that once you go loud, the family will know you shot back and you'll quickly find yourself being the target of a lynch! You win when the town wins and all mafia are eliminated.
Subject 34532# code name ''Project Dark'' Player: Nathaniel Havok
- I'm afraid we can't give you too much information. What I can tell you is that you were a former mafia man; who has recently entered the witness protection program after turning your back on the family. This means you cannot be night killed. In the event the Mafia does find you in our program; we will relocate you, again... but you can no longer speak. All you'll be able to do for the rest of this deadly game is vote. Due to your mutiple aliasis you'll also duplicate your vote once relocated. You win when the town wins and all mafia has been eliminated.
J. Edgar Hoover Player: Knuckles
- You're a real dick head, you know that? You've just found out that the mafia is more then just a conspiracy theory. The mafia? Well, they got a little dirt on you. Some say, you like to dress up? Need we say more? Nonetheless, you are still worth something alive. As head of the FBI you know EVERYTHING about the mafia. So, you also know you ''good'' guys are fucked. During everynight, you send me a name and you'll know if they're mafia or not. Despite popular belief you aren't insane. It's your job to convince the rest of the town to lynch them. Be too obvious about what you know and you can expect to be hit during the night. You win when the town wins and all Mafia is eliminated.
Innocent By Stander(s) Player: Farquhar
- This is a variant role. You are the Innoncent By Standers. You are the towns eyes. Every night, you have the ability to watch three people. These people maybe town or Mafia. In the event that you see someone partake in a night kill, you MUST have the killer lynched the following day phase or you'll lose your ability. In the event your testomony has you targetted by the mafia during the night, they'll kill all three of you but one of you will live long enough to tell the tale to one other party in the game. Telling this certain someone; will provide them with all the night actions you have observed during the nights up until your death... just make sure you information doesn't find itself in the wrong hands.

That game got real slow at the end. Just sayin'.
Up until then it was okay, but I think the slow start of the game starting on a weekend was something the game never quite recovered from. The modkill also hindered things, but what can you do? It's certainly a cool concept, and I would actually like to see it run again in the future (perhaps not here though) and in said case, hopefully Brasco and the former mafioso don't meet up on night one again, because I really wanted to use my ability.
Maybe I'm biased, but I liked APW Mafia better.

Honour mention: Farquhar- First time player but very aggressive. Actively led the town in the QT's and had the mafia sweating once he got going. He made the game interesting once the game got slow and I enjoyed that. A player to look out for in the near future should he play again. MVP:Kurt Noble- The entire team practically gets the nod here for complete and utter control of the game but the stand out was Kurt Noble just because he really came across as the leader when it gets down to following the QT's. A great effort by all involved. Congrats! My thoughts on my own game: I think it was one of the best set ups. If I could do it again, I wouldn't have the town investigative power in place. It was a good idea on paper but didn't turn out like I though it would; I think it mainly decreased activity in the game; it could have also been the time of the year in general but yeah, wouldn't do that one again. The game was mainly played in the QT's this time around so it wasn't THAT dead; so here they are... Gambinos: www.quicktopic.com/47/H/PvwwvnwZdvAtLucheese: www.quicktopic.com/47/H/qbUYxne92uVCGenovese: www.quicktopic.com/47/H/iSgP3N92vNvTown agency: www.quicktopic.com/47/H/JRrxRwhQY6siWith that said, I'll mod again in the near future. This time though, I won't do anything that inhibits activity. Learn from your mistakes, right!? Right.

Well, that's game, ha. I do think all and all this was a solid game that was plagued by situations that forced it into undesirable directions. Atken's modkill forced the deadlock situation that confirmed numbers, Pence being inactive, and a couple of other smaller problems did hamper things down. When we did reach the first deadlock position, and the town knew who we were, it became more of a "who had more votes" situation and less of a "find out who scum are" situation, and this really hurt activity. General inactivity for some people was just low as a whole though. But hey, like you said, some things work and and some don't. I do think more things worked than didn't. I LOVED the write-ups and concept. Some of the most entertaining write-ups of an APW game so far, at least to me. Multiple Mafia, which *should* have been unexpected, threw everyone for a loop and made for an entertaining game. It was interesting to plan a strategy when we discussed whether or not to go after the town or other Mafias. I think my team played pretty well, and it reflected in the finale. I do want to apologize to Knuckles and Julius though. When it looked like the town might be able to win the numbers game, we needed a safe way to sway you guys towards me, which would draw out the vocal town members and give us targets. I had to play aggressive since a lynch on me wouldn't really matter the first time around. Sorry if I got on your nerves guys! (I love that Knuckles and I seem to go at it EVERY game, ha) I think I played better in this game than any other, but I will agree with Kaji that APW Mafia was the better game. However, don't be fooled: This was still a solid, well-modded game that just suffered from some unfortunate circumstances. Still fun, and I'll definitely play another L1 Mafia game.

I loved the set up. I've been looking forward to a multi-mafia game for awhile, and then this came along. Overall, I think the game was slower then most, but that might have been the time of year or just the fact that some more vocal people got cut out early. Kurt was silenced day two, Blade died night one, and a few others were just MIA or purposely not posting to fly under the radar.
On that note...the final back and forth between Kurt and Knuckles...seemed like TONS of people were able to just sit back. I know I was following Rebel's actions in the game (reppin' the Lucheese!) and he basically said nothing after Branden and I died and no one really called him on it.
I wouldn't mind something like this being used again, maybe not 3 mafia, but maybe a town, a mafia and a 3rd party/serial killer type deal, just to spice it up.
I can't complain too much on the modding though, since Lester always brings it. The write ups are always fantastic and, even though I might not have followed as much as I would have liked after dying, they were still good write ups to read.

LOL all in good fun Noble. my frustration was that PENCE was completely inactive. thats wat ultimately killed us. if he had been active, rebel would have kicked the final vote and had u lynched. ever since day 2 when we turned into the "agency" we knew just exactly who EVERY scum was so it really didnt matter. definately the second best game....LOL sorry L-O, still think the SAW mafia was best. (biased?)

As soon as L1 told us in the QT that town knew exactly who Mafia was I felt we were toast. Then I realized, and I am pretty sure Noble mentioned it before I even had to bring it up, but we outnumbered the town and town needed us in order to lynch scum. A's long A's it wasn't our Crew getting hit or lynched we were cool with lynching whoever

I'm glad the game slowed down at the end. I was out of town or getting ready to go out of town and it helped me fly under the radar. Made it easy, actually. I barely had to post and nobody noticed. I think the fact that my gamble on Arcadia backfired helped me in the long run because people thought I was town which helped sneak in the kills with everyone focused on Kurt.

That's right JC. I believe I was the one who was like "Bring it on" when we found that out, lol. I wanted to go against everyone but others drew too much attention to themselves so I just slinked off into the background (as did the rest of my Family sans Noble near the end) and let everyone else go at it while we reaped the benefits.

If I am honest, I lost track after I was killed. Didnt really follow it after that.
Sucks to get killed night 1, but seemed like a good game.
I honestly thought you were doing a mafia/fake mafia game, but proved me wrong
