"So this is what it comes down to, is it?"
The scene opens up with Rico Casteel standing in front of his throne, shaking his head. He paces back and forth in front of it, his face giving off little to no emotion. He stops in his tracks with the throne in the background over his right shoulder.
"Jason Kash gets lucky and manages to retain his title, which I still wasn't beaten for, but still manages to prove me right when he left without his belt. It might not have been me that took that belt, but it was still a transition champion if I ever saw one. Doing nothing more than keeping the belt warm for the next suitor. At least when I was champion, I managed to successfully defend the belt. At least when I was champion, I was more than just a flash in the pan. I wasn't some punk that did nothing but lose to the Red Shield Mafia, and than the most unbelievable challenger ever.
"Though, apparently, that's all in my past now, isn't it?
"Apparently, Reginald has decided that I should look at the other challengers. That I should see what else is on the table before the next step is taken. And what better way to do it, then on my home turf. Oh, I know that we will hear Katrina and Johnny run out and tell about how they are the definition of extreme, how the rules of this match were made by them...
"But that's the point. We're supposed to all brag and boast about who should get credit for making things violent, which is why we are all here. It's why we are all in this thing together. They want a violent contest. They want blood being spilt. And Reginald Schmidt would like nothing more than to make sure that he doesn't have to worry about me trying to retake my kingdom. That is why he's hoping that the human donkey and the masked feminist will bleed me dry inside of that ring.
"But that's not how it's going to happen, Reginald. I'm not the sort of person to just sit back and let my opponents cut me open with whatever object they can get their hands on. I fight. I'M the one that makes them bleed. I'M the one that turns them into the quivering masses of lost hope. I'm the one that stakes my dominance inside of that ring, and there's nothing that this Dangerous reject and this hopeless female flyer are going to be able to do to stop that.
"Sure, I could give Katrina credit. I could tell her that so far, she is the only other person to be able to truly call themselves the Suicidal champion. Isamu Suzuki failed to live up to that name. The Gambler failed to live up to that name. Chris Cyrus failed to live up to that name. So far, Katrina is the only other champion to have successfully defended that title. Of course, the feat only seems so impressive until the originator of that title, the one that gave that title the true Suicidal name, is standing right in front of you."
Rico extends his arms and smirks before shaking his head.
"So you have a long road to climb, Katrina, until you can reach the heights that I have reached with that title. Until you can say that you are the most dominant champion in the Suicidal realm. I bet right about now, you're plotting ways to make fun of me for losing the title and making it so that I was no longer the champion. Isn't that right? But if you did, what you would fail to understand is that I didn't lose it. I didn't do anything wrong when I was the champion.
"James Chambers lost that title.
"At Mayhem, Isamu Suzuki beat James Chambers for the Suicidal championship, not me. Just like I wasn't beaten for the title at Christmas Chaos, I wasn't beaten for that belt. I never even got my true rematch, but then again, I moved past the belt. I moved into the big leagues. Though, truly, the fact that you called out Chris Cyrus at One Night in Hell speaks volumes to me. After all, you'd assume that someone would want to shoot for the moon. Most people want to aim right for the World title. But you didn't. Instead, you took the step down. And why was that? Was it because you felt like you could beat Chris Cyrus and not Rico Casteel? Probably. Was it because you knew that you had his number, while knowing that I would have yours? I think so.
"To put it bluntly, Katrina, I believe that you have joined the long list of people that are afraid of me. Don't worry, you're in good company. James Chambers, Jason Kash, Nate Bishop, Isamu Suzuki...all men that at one point in time, were right in my cross hairs and did whatever they could to keep me out of their face. Some ran away. Some felt my wrath, but the one thing they have in common is that they were all afraid of me.
"And now you are, too. Sure, you'll deny it, because they all did. They all were comfortable with living in denial until they had to face their fears. Lucky for you, that time has come early, and you can start the new year without living in doubt. Without lying to yourself about who you can and can not beat. Because once that bell rings, and after I've driven my fist through that pretty little face of yours over and over...well, there will simply be no doubt to be had. There will be nothing to question because you would have lost to me, and you would have been bled dry.
"After what I've been through, losing my title and being denied the rightful matches I should have had, this is all about destruction. This is all about payback. This is all about expressing my rage and anger on anyone within arms reach. Which includes you, Katrina. As fast as you might be, and as agile as you think you are, nothing will prepare you for what I am capable of doing. Of course while you're the second most talented wrestler in the match, you're not the only other opponent I have to deal with.
"Since there's also Johnny Knuckles."
Rico laughs and returns to his pacing. After a few moments he shakes his head, ending the laughter.
"What is there really to say about Johnny Knuckles? He tried his hand already in APW and failed, miserably. His claim to fame around these parts were his matches with Branden Harvey and really, the only reason why he's still known is because he refuses to let us forget about him. Whether it be through pointless commercials where he advertises for shit that no one cares about, or his incessant pleas to anyone that will listen, he just can't let the thought of him fade away.
"The best part is that he probably doesn't realize that no one cares, and probably doesn't understand that his claim to fame makes him look more like a joke then anything else. That, along with the fact that he is one of the many DangerTainment rejects still trying to get their moment in the sun means to me that he is a pointless. He was pointless before, around the time of Survive and Conquer when he first stumbled into the picture, and he's pointless now with his most recent foray back into my kingdom.
"But you missed all of that, didn't you Johnny? You missed when I was on top of my game, throwing aside every bit of trash that tried to blow by my boot. How I ruled Asylum with an iron fist. You missed all of that, Johnny, and now, here you are prancing in to my kingdom all high on yourself. Thinking that you're actually going to get yourself back into the form you never had. Hoping that you'll be thrown a bone. Maybe your old buddy will take you back with open arms, and allow you to sponge off of his success once again.
"Until then, Johnny, you will have to put up with me and the wonder of whether or not you will actually get to that point, where you can sponge off of Jason Kash. Who knows, maybe this will be the last time Johnny Knuckles is going to be seen in APW. Ever. Because I'm not going easy on you. I'm not going to get lost in the thought of your ring rust. I'm not going to assume that you have any bit of talent or ability in those hick town bones of yours. I'm going to come at you hard and make sure that you are in a situation that you have no fucking hope of donkey punching out of.
"But you won't believe it will you? You'll think that you actually have a chance won't you? Of course you will because you're a sorry excuse for a man any way you cut it. You're return to APW, Johnny, it will come to a horrible end. Any thought you had of making a run for the top, will be cut short when I break your legs. Any chance you had at making it seem like you had talent, I will make sure to beat it out of you.
"And the same goes for you, Katrina.
"Because the two of you are in my world now. This is my domain, my kingdom. And I'm sure I don't have to remind you that my colleague will undoubtedly be around, whether at ringside or in the back waiting for the chance to strike. Though, that's mostly because we don't play by everyone's rules. We play by our rules. And since you are in my house, you two will just have to put up with everything that I am going to bring.
"By the end, the two of you will realize why I am still the most dominating Suicidal champion. Why I was the most dominating World champion. And you will realize why I am in prime position to take back everything that should have already been mine.
"I am going to retake my kingdom.
"The Martyrs of Madness will once again dominate.
"And the two of you will be used as my examples. As my tokens to show the rest of the Asylum that anyone who thinks they can rise up and take us down will be dealt with. They will be destroyed.
"They will be eliminated.
"Welcome back to the madness, Johnny. Your stay will be short lived."
The scene fades out as Rico begins to laugh, crossing his arms over his chest as he does, glaring at the camera. The scene completely fades to black, with the last notes of laughter still floating through the air.
