What is Fan Fiction you ask? This thread is here to explain it to you. Fan Fiction is a creative writing hobby where you choose a wrestling organization and basically control. Imagine a written GM Mode from Smackdown vs. RAW. You can choose from dead and alive wrestling promotions. You draft a roster, your employees and you write results. Creating your own version of a professional wrestling company.


These are the Guidelines to Begin

- Create a thread in the Fan Fiction Area naming your chosen fed in title, e.g. Ring of Honor
- You choose your Owner/General Manager
- You choose your Announce Team (Max 3/Min 2)
- You choose a Ring Announcer & Backstage Interviewer


Once you've chosen your federation/promotion/organization you proceed to the Draft Thread located in this sub-board. The order of the draft will go by who signed up initially and who followed.

Rules of The Draft

- Each person drafts one person for 3 Rounds
- Each person drafts two people for 3 Rounds
- Each person drafts three people for 3 Rounds
- Each person may draft three people until you reach Roster Cap
- Roster Cap is set at 40 Wrestlers


Unavailble Draftees!

To prevent certain wrestlers from being picked there is a group which may not be picked to contain a degree of realism. The list is small, and they are there for certain factors List is below....

What Do I Do Next?

You go to your thread, e.g. "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling" and in the opening post you name the organization, you name the employees, you name the Championships within the fed and you list the roster.


Once this has began, the fun starts here. You control your own federation. YOU run who gets what. YOU decide who gets control, who gets the pushes, who gets the rewards. You write your own results, keeping your results in one seperate post in your designated thread. To announce something about your federation you must post in the "Wrestling News" thread in the Fan Fiction Area.


If you have any questions you may leave them below and I will respond. I have done this before, and it can becoming very fun and creative BUT do not allow it to you remove you from roleplaying. ANYONE who blames the Fan Fiction for not roleplaying will be removed from the game.

Results In Fan Fiction


Results are pretty simple.


Results will be posted on your promotion thread. ALL results for ONE show must be in the SAME post as to not cause confusion. You may not split a show up, if it comes to where you think your results are too long or can't fit, then you're putting too much effort into it!


Contents Of Results

In terms of what you can put into your results, you can put anything. Any coding you wish, videos, use entrance themes of the actual Superstar. It is your promotion, do what you wish. But results, so that people don't get carried away with 20 1 - 1 matches, are broken down.

- For a weekly show you're allowed 10 Spots!
- For a PPV you're allowed 15 Spots!

A spot is either a segment or a match. You may not exceed that limit because you may get carried away. This way, you have to be creative in your results. If you want feedback on your results, a results feedback thread will be posted and you may request it there.

If you don't know how to layout your results, fine. Just allow someone else to and then follow them. Pretty simple. These rules must be followed.
