The scene opens up in the Hardcore Kid’s backyard in Las Vegas. The APW Camera man is there filming him as Jason Royce shows up.
Royce: Hey Kid, what’s up.
THK: Jason, just in time man.
Royce: Why did you want me here?
THK: Sunday at Mayhem is the biggest night of our lives. The biggest man of our careers even. TLC for the tag team titles.
Royce: And we’re going to walk out the champs.
THK: Well here’s the thing. I’m not totally convinced yet that we will. Razor and Sabur, those guys could pull out the win. And from what I hear, Diana and Spirit are the favorites to win. Those two have been tag team champions before and we need to be a hundred percent ready for anything and everything that could happen. So we need to start training for this match.
Royce: How do we train for a match like this?
THK: I’ve come up with a great way. Just hear me out. I put a lot of thought into this. The reason someone loses a TLC match is because of three things. One, they get hit by a chair. Two, they fall off a ladder. And three, they go through a table. So I was thinking, if we can survive that, or better yet, all three at once, then this way, we know what to expect on the fall, we can brace our selves so we don’t get hurt, and then we’re back right into the match.
Royce: That’s quite the theory you got there.
The Hardcore Kid picks up the table that’s laying on his lawn and sets it up.
Royce: Where did you get that table from?
THK: Hardware store. I got a good deal on it.
The Kid then picks up a ladder a twenty foot from his lawn and sets it up next to the table.
Royce: That’s a big ladder.
THK: It was a better deal to get a twenty foot ladder.
Royce: Now how are we going to train for this big fall?
The Hardcore Kid picks up a chair from his lawn and looks at Royce.
THK: Climb the ladder.
Royce: What? You crazy?
THK: Climb the ladder!
Royce: What if I get injured
THK: You won’t, this is perfectly safe. Plus, I’m willing to take that risk.
Royce: I don’t know man.
THK: Are you a team player or what? I thought you we’re hardcore. I guess your just a pussy.
Royce: FINE!
Jason starts climbing the ladder and gets to the top and sits on the top of the ladder with his back to the table. Jason yells down.
Jason: Now Wh....
Before Jason can finish his sentence, The Kid throws the chair as hard has he can and hits Jason in the face. Jason falls backwards and crashes through the table and a thud is heard when he hits the ground. Jason rolls around the ground has he moans. The Kid goes over to Jason.
THK: Holy Crap man, That fall was AWESOME! How you feeling.
Jason groans trying to catch his breath.
THK: Man, That’s hardcore. Now at Mayhem, you can now prepare yourself for this fall.
The Kid then looks at the camera.
THK: This Sunday at Mayhem. It’s the biggest match of Jason and I’s career. And what we just did, we just proved that we are ready and that we are willing to do what ever it damn well takes to win this match. And that makes us dangerous. We are two crazy fuckers and we’re not scared of anything nor anyone. Not Razor Ryan, not Sabur and especially not two chicks, Diana and Spirit. We’re the underdogs in this match and quite frankly, I don’t care if we are or not. We’ve been underdogs since day one. Since January 27th at New Years Retribution and its time to change that and we change that starting at Mayhem. Isn’t that right Jason.
Jason groans on the ground.
THK: Razor Ryan, this past Overdrive, I had you beat, I know it and you know it. But some how Diana Steel stole the win from me. But Ryan, I think your age is catching up with you Ryan. And we’re going to see Sunday just how you do in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. You can always relay on a stronger and younger tag team partner to carry you through the rest of your career can you? After Mayhem Razor, maybe you’ll realize that your better at chasing skirts then winning matches.
The Kid looks Over at Jason who’s starting to get up.
THK: And Sabur. The Irish Hammer. Your big and strong. That’s all you got going for you. Sure, you could take Jason and I and use us for your toothpick. And you’re the biggest guy in this match. And I’m sure you heard the saying. The Bigger they are, The Harder they fall. We’ll Sabur, I guarantee you, your going to fall and your going to fall hard. So you and Razor and go to bars and beat up people all you want, make yourself look all big and tough, but at the end of the night, there’s only going to be two guys walking out, making history in APW and that’s The Hardcore Kid and Jason “The Iceman” Royce.
Jason finally gets to his feet and leans on the ladder.
THK: And team COK. The Church of Kaos. A group that has made an impact since day one of being born. The COK could make history at Mayhem. Diana and Tara could walk out being the first APW Tag Champs. Also, the COK could walk out of Mayhem with all the gold. But I’d like to ruin the COK history and make history of my own by winning those belt. Diana, you stole a win from me at Overdrive, and you better belive that I’m bitter about it and I will get my pay back on you. How? I don’t know yet. But what I do know is that at Mayhem, I will hurt you. And Spirit, Your one sick and crazy bitch and I know your going to have fun in this match, but Jason and I, we’re going to ruin your fun, Diana’s fun. Razor’s fun. And Sabur’s fun. Because the Undgerdogs, even though we haven’t won a tag match, Jason got a taste of singles victory on Overdrive that he loves it so much that he wants a Tag Team win. And what better than getting your first Tag Team win and winning the Tag titles at the Same time. You guys, get ready, because we’re going going to go down easy. And at Mayhem, it will be just that, Mayhem and when its all said and done, I’m bringing each and every one of you...STRAIGHT....TO....HELL!!!
