Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude.

When you take a glance back and look at my second coming here in Action Packed Wrestling, you will probably say that it is more decorated than my whole first term in action. Maybe it’s the new attitude, maybe I just underestimated myself before, but things are looking bright and we are under a whole new Blade Era.
Who handed Yarmouth Blade his first APW defeat?
I did.
Who retired Chris Cyrus, the last APW original at the time?
I did.
Who pinned and defeated the CWC champion Azrael Goeren, a challenge that Gates and Noble both failed?
I did.
If I could sit back and retire now, I would be a happy man, but I know deep inside of me that there is a lot more that I could achieve and will achieve. The next big challenge, if you can even call it that, starts and ends at Survive and Conquer.
Yarmouth Blade.
I think that says it all.
This will be the last time he will ever be introduced to the ring under that moniker. It will be the last time he can sell one of his second rate T-shirts or even promote his sorry life as Yarmouth Blade.
There is no chance I will give up my legacy for this guy.

Sunday 29th January 2012
Airlines Arena
Miami FL
“Heh, so I guess they won’t need these much longer then will they Jacko?”
Blade poses a question to his road agent Jackson as he stands in front of one of the many merchandise stalls set up at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
“What do you mean Pete?” responds Jackson
“This entire tacky Yarmouth memorabilia; I mean, the shirts, the hats, the foam fingers, after the show tonight they will be redundant…”
Jackson looks confused. “If you say so buddy…”
“Of course if I say so, I hold my destiny in my hands and come tomorrow Yarmouth Blade will be no longer known under that moniker. It’s a shame it’s only a name change he will undergo because ridding the APW of his face could do a whole lot for the promotion of the company…” Blade laughs to himself.
“You sound more confident by the minute, but I never had you down as having the interests of the company at stake…” Jackson responds with a skeptical look on his face.
“Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t, but I will be more than happy to chalk another name up to those who have fallen at my hands. The kid just didn’t know what was coming when he signed his contract; his agents may as well have just signed his death warrant there and then.”
“It’s a good job you have this confidence at the moment, because at any given moment you can mess up and throw your life away once more…” Jackson rubs his head.
“You would say that.” Blade pauses and looks at Jackson. “You get paid don’t you? Therefore you should have more confidence in me. I pay your wages at the end of the day, so lighten up a little bit and finally embrace the fact that you are riding the coat tails of success and you may even earn your Christmas bonus…”
“Christmas?” Questions Jackson. “But Christmas isn’t for another eleven months…”
“Exactly, you had better start earning your keep now…”
Blade takes a step back from the stall and begins to admire where more of his merchandise can go.
“Anyway Pete, this kid has been bad mouthing you all week on the social networking sites…”
Blade laughs. “Ha, he thinks he can beat me with words? By bad mouthing me he thinks I will crawl under a rock scared to surface again until the event is over? He has another thing coming because I am not one to walk away from a challenge, if you can even call it that. The guy got his ass handed to him by Zach Rodell last week, he doesn’t even deserve to step foot in the same ring as me again. I had his number the minute he stepped foot into APW, and I predicted that this would happen. The guy could have signed up to the talent pool with any opther name but mine, hell If it was me, I probably wouldn’t have signed up mimicking myself…” Blade laughs at the expense of himself.
“All I am saying is don’t take this as an easy victory, Yarmouth is out for your blood and I don’t see him lying down easily…” responds Jackson with a look of concern on his face.
“it really doesn’t matter to me. I hear on the wire that instead of taking time to actually train for this match, the kid has been playing the tough guy in a shop and hassling the shop owner…” Blade is interrupted.
“Really?!” Interjects Jackson
“Yeah Really. I couldn’t make this shit up. The guy is literally insane and it actually makes me smile. He thinks he can bully people that have nothing to do with the wrestling world, to get what he wants. I hear all he got was a distasteful look and a pork chop round the side of his head.” Blade bursts into hysterics.
“Then maybe he should be counting himself lucky that this isn’t a retirement match…”
“Hey, I just go with the matches you book me, let’s try not to make this same mistake again; deal?”
“Sure Pete, you got it.”
“Anyway, I have to prepare now. It’s a shame its too early to hit the clubs…”
The look on Jacksons face is worth a picture. Blade laughs to himself once more before he turns from the stand and starts to make his way towards the locker room.
