>> UNLEASHING THE VIRUS [PART II] <<
Our scene opened up to a disclosed location and no sooner than the cameras open up. They are featured on the same man that released a promo days ago from a graveyard. That person being the Virus: Chris McKenzie. Last time we heard from him, He made it clear he was coming to APW and made it clear he was planning on taking over by killing people off one by one. As his cold and emotionless eyes focused on the cameras he began speaking out to all of us.
“February Twelfth, Two Thousand and Two. The very date of APW’s Asylum Show and the official date in which I release a deadly virus on the company. It will choke the life out of every single person it comes in contact with. No one stands the slightest chance of survival and upon the night in which it’s released. It will officially take the life of three people. The very thee people I mentioned the last time I spoke. Those three go by the name of Matt Matlock, Alyssa Castleele, and Billy Pepsi. There is nothing like having the knowledge of what is going to happen to someone and knowing there’s nothing they can do to stop it. Believe me, I have that kind of power.”
A small little smirk began to creep over the lips of McKenzie. His history spoke for itself and the guy was capable of pretty much everything he had said. People didn’t like that and hadn’t liked it for years but for some odd reason or another. There’s been no one able to find a cure for this virus and there had been no one able to stop him. We had no choice but to fear the fact that history would be repeating itself here in APW soon enough.
“Alyssa Castleele, I can’t believe the promoter was stupid enough to put a woman in the ring with me. It’s quite obvious that women are weak and it’s quite obvious that women do not belong in this business. Hell, women should just cease to exist to begin with. I hate everything about them and I always will, but with that being said. She’s in the match and there’s nothing that can be done about it now. See, I want Alyssa and everyone else to know right now. Just because she’s a woman means nothing to me. I’m going to treat her just like I would a man in this ring. You can bet money that I’ll punch her in the face over and over again. You can bet money, I’ve got no problem kicking her in the ribs and breaking them. I have no problem slamming her down on her neck and breaking it to the point she’s paralyzed. I’m not weak. I’m not one of those people that favor just because of a gender. Alyssa is stepping into the ring with a real man and she’s stepping into the ring with the most vile-demented-and dangerous son of a bitch to ever be born. I’m doing what I have too and I’m not going to feel the least bit sorry, beside it’ll feel good to put a bitch in her place.”
McKenzie’s ill feelings towards women really wouldn’t be that surprising to people where he had come from. After all he had been through personally with women – more so his last ex-wife. It was pretty much obvious he hated them and believed that they were below him. It might not settle very well with Alyssa or any of his fans but at the same time there wasn’t a whole lot that could be done. McKenzie would do what he wanted to do how he wanted to do it and that’s all there was to it.
“Matt Matlock, there is a name I have heard a lot over the years. I’ve heard about this guy being some kind of legend. I’ve heard about the countless titles the guy has one. I’ve heard about all the history making matches he’s competed in. I’ve heard it all but you know something? I’m not the least bit impressed by it. Matlock isn’t as good as people try and claim. Matlock isn’t a legend and Matlock really hasn’t made his mark on the business. Only reason people feel that way is because they are complete marks for the guy and the only reason he got the pushes he’s gotten back in our day was because he kissed ass and became friends with the right kind of people. Sadly for him, that won’t happen around here and sadly for him. I’m going to enjoy every single second I kick him in his face, I’ll enjoy forcing him to bleed buckets upon buckets of blood, and every single second I tear him apart limb from limb. Matlock will not overshadow me and will not rob me of the attention I deserve. I’m the only reason legend in this match and come Sunday, I’ll prove it by doing what no man has been able to do when it comes to others that have come in contact with him. I’ll do what most men wish they could have done with they faced him. I’ll step in the ring with Matlock and I’ll end his pathetic career within moments. I’ll make Matlock a thing of the past and he can’t stop it.”
It would seem that McKenzie had known a little more about Matlock than most people in APW knew but there was a good reason for that. The two might have never crossed paths but they had both come from the same circuit and they had both heard of each other at one point or another. McKenzie was pretty much non-impressed by Matlock and anything he had done. Then again McKenzie was never impressed by anyone aside from himself. His eyes seemed to narrow a little bit more at this point seeing as his attention was being pulled in a different direction
“And that finally brings me to Billy Pepsi. You know something boy? You’ve got quite the mouth on you. You start off with your first little promo running your trap about how you aren’t afraid of me and you aren’t afraid of a Virus. You even make a little joke about having one and beat it without medication. Ha, you make jokes because you are a joke Billy. You can claim you don’t fear me and you can claim you don’t fear the virus all you want. I expected that from someone with the IQ level of a five year old and I expected that from someone that literally has no idea what I’m capable of, but soon enough you’re going to learn your lesson. You also must think your pretty clever for supposedly knowing about my personal life and the personal issues I’ve had. After all your logic is they are going to hold me down and there’s no way that I’ll be as focused as I should be. But again though Billy, you know nothing. You don’t know half of my ‘personal issues’ and you really don’t know I handle my business. You don’t know how I handle things when I’m angry or anything like that. You have only made yourself look like a dumbass for assuming and those assumptions are going to be your biggest downfall. I’ve dealt with a lot idiots in my time and they have all had the same outlook on things as you do but one by one they ended up suffering for their lack of knowledge.”
A small evil laugh escaped the lips of the former multi-time World Heavyweight Champion. He enjoyed thinking back to all the times in which he had destroyed people and put them out of action simply because they were ignorant or simply just because he could and no one could stop him. It would appear that this is where McKenzie was going when it came to speaking about Billy. After all it was Billy that started the war of words between them. McKenzie was one to never be outdone and that’s exactly what all of this was about in this current moment.
“It didn’t end there though, you continued onward with your assumptions and you continued to run your mouth like you were something special. It seems you think you’re quite a bit of a shooter and you like to cross a line. I don’t respect you but I myself am one of those people that cross a line. You crossed a line by calling me lazy, saying that I hadn’t bothered to do my research, and made a bunch of generalized assumptions about me. Big, big mistake if you haven’t caught on by now. First things first, you would never survive in the world in which I came from. Most promoters would laugh at you. They wouldn’t take you seriously. They wouldn’t even waste their time in signing you to a contract and if they did, it’d only be to embarrass you weekly and job you like the worthless trash you are. Secondly, people would say the same thing I’m saying. You truly are an idiot for running your mouth about me. You truly are a moron for making assumptions about me. You truly are ignorant for thinking you know anything about me and you are pretty much legally retarded if you think for one single solid second you have a chance against me. I can’t say that I blame you Billy, it’s obvious you don’t know any better and it’s obvious you aren’t all right there in the head. But even though you are stupid beyond belief. It doesn’t stop me from doing what I intend to do. Out of all three of you, I plan on making you suffer the most. Out of the three of you, I plan on forcing you to shed the most blood. Out of the three of you, I plan on making you ill with this virus – far more ill than all the others. Your days are coming to an end and you’ve got no one to blame aside from yourself. Least you’ll finally have that one moment when people remember who you are and it’ll all be because of me, seeing as I’ll be the man that ended your career.”
Billy had gotten the attention of McKenzie, as it appeared that he had wanted the entire time. Now that he got it though, it was going to prove to be nothing more than a huge mistake for him. Once McKenzie put his attention on an opponent and deciding that he would make that person suffer the most. There truly wasn’t any stopping him and this time would prove to be no different. At this moment, McKenzie looked at the cameras for the final time and spoke his final message.
“The three of you have no say so in what happens on Sunday night. I’ve decided that you will be the first three I inject my deadly virus upon and there’s no changing my mind. Just like there’s no beating the virus, seeing as there is no cure. Trust me it’s coming to an end for you but I promise to make it as quick and painful as possible. Aha ha ha ha!”
McKenzie stood there looking at the cameras for a few more moments in nothing but pure silence. He had said what he needed to say and now it was all up to him making it a reality. There was no doubt on our part at all that McKenzie would take over and McKenzie would unleash a deadly virus. It’s not something people wanted to happen but they clearly didn’t have a choice. It was left in the hands of him and only him. Just then the cameras faded out to black leaving people to wonder what truly would happen come Sunday when they were all in the ring with each other.
