DARK MATCH Toast Vs Mr. Dangerous
The bell rings as both men stand at their respective corners. Toast and Dangerous meet in the center of the ring and shake hands, both fan loving athletes who respect what the other one does. They lock up after the shake and Toast quickly gets the upper hand. He hip tosses Dangerous who pops back up and is hip tossed again by Toast. Dangerous gets up and comes in for a third straight hip toss and as he gets to his feet he doesn't rush things. He smiles and looks at the crowd before he jolts at Toast. Nobody is surprised or knocked off their guard as Toast connects with a Strawberry Splash Spinebuster.
Toast gets Dangerous up and whips him hard across the ring, Dangerous grabs the ropes but forgets to plant his feet and slaps down face first into the canvas. Toast cringes as the face planting seemed a bit painful. Dangerous gets up slow, Toast comes in and sets him up for a Blueberry Bounce Brainbuster. Mr. Dangerous flops about on the canvas like a man being electrocuted but both his hands are wrapped around the back of his neck. Toast pulls him up again and slaps him across the mouth. Dangerous stumbles back and puts his back into the turnbuckles.
Toast hurries in with a Corner Splash. Toast holds his body against Dangerous and sticks his own finger in his mouth, after soaked with saliva, Toast sticks the wet finger in Dangerous ear and wiggles it around before pushing off his cornered opponent. Toast lifts up Dangerous, putting him up on the top turnbuckle. Toast climbs up the turnbuckle, standing on the second row of turnbuckles, he pulls Dangerous head down, double underhooks his arms up behind his back. Toast screams and pulls off the turnbuckles but Mr. Dangerous lifts Toast as they come off the turnbuckles. Toast slides down the back of Dangerous and as they both land onto the canvas, it almost looks as if Dangerous hit Level One's Finisher "The Level Advance" and the crowd erupts as Dangerous looks surprised himself. He hurries to make the cover as the referee realizes Dangerous is about to get a victory.
1 . . 2 . . 3!
Winner: Mr. Dangerous!! Pyro shoots from the stage and the camera pans through the crowd as the fans are on their feet in excitement for seeing APW. The camera then cuts to ringside with Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase Harvey: Welcome everyone to Thursday Night Overdrive/color]
Chase: We are coming off Survive and Conquer. If you missed it, then your not a wrestling fan! Wow what an event it was.
Harvey: Alioth Starre from GIW won the big Survive and Conquer match. And moments after winning, signed a contract with APW and he will be in action, This Sunday on Asylum, taking on Jason Kash!
Chase: Speaking of Jason Kash, he is here tonight and will be defending his newly won World Heavyweight Title against Nathaniel Havok in a rematch from Survive and Conquer.
Harvey: Also tonight, we have not one, but two first round matches for the CWC Ascension tournament. Tonight, Kurt Noble and CJ will be having matches, representing APW
Chase: Also, we have a fatal four way match for the Overdrive Title between Johnny Rebel, Blade, Terry Marvin and Keaton Saint
Harvey: Also a third title match will be taking place as tonight, we will crown a new Xtreme Champion in the first ever APW Ultimate X match
Chase: Lets stop talking and get to the ring for the first match
Paige: The opening contest is a rematch from Survive and Conquer and it is for the APW World Heavyweight Championship
'Cult of Personality' hits on the PA system as bright white and red strobe lights flicker around the arena. Nathaniel steps out from the back, and casually walks to the top of the ramp. Some fans begin to boo him, but his "cult-like" following overshadows them with their deafening cheers. He gives a sadistic grin to the crowd before throwing his hands in the air as Pyro goes off around him.
Paige: Introducing first, The Challenger, from Indianapolis, Indiana, weighing in at 242 pounds, NATHANIEL….HAVVVVVVVVVVOK!
Nathaniel then begins to casually walk down the ramp, hopping onto the ring apron, and climbing the rope. He taunts the crowd before jumping over the ropes, and into the ring. Nathaniel runs the ropes a few times, getting a feel for them before the match. He then takes his shirt off, tosses it into the crowd, and stands in his corner as the music dies out.
Harvey: Havok must be pumped, Rasslemania VIII is in his home town this year
Chase: I bet Havok wants nothing more than to defend the World Heavyweight Champion in his town at the biggest stage.
As the theme for Monday Night Football begins to play and the rap beat merges in and begins to thump, pulsing the heads of fans filling the arena, Jason Kash steps out from the back as the music spills out vibrating the arena as fans get to their feet. His World Heavyweight Title safely wrapped around his waist as he steps to the center of the Entrance Ramp.
Paige: And his opponent, from Houston Texas, weighing in at 230 pounds. He is the Current, Reigning and Defending, APW World Heavyweight Champion. Jason…..KAAAAASH!
Kash leans forward and slaps the metal stage three quick taps and then puts his two fingers to his mouth, hits the "Air Joint" as do all his fans. Two puffs and his arms shoot up above him as the fans let out a chant of "LIGHT. IT.UP". Kash heads to the ring, touching air joints with a few fans leaning over the guard railing. He gets to ringside, pulls off his World Heavyweight Title and leaps up, feet landing onto the ringside apron. He dips into the ropes and throws his World Heavyweight Title up in the center of the ring with his hands. Handing the belt to the referee, he waits for the bell.
Harvey: These two have been going back and forth since Christmas Chaos
Chase: I think this may be the final encounter.
APW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Jason Kash © Vs Nathaniel Havok
The two begin to circle around the ring, as the fans are at a fever-pitch for this marquee matchup. The two meet in the middle of the ring, and lock up immediately. Kash pushes Nathaniel back into the corner as the referee asks for a break. Kash hears him, but doesn’t really care. The referee then tries to get in between the two combatants, and Nathaniel sees an opening. Nathaniel quickly pokes Kash in the eye, sending the champion staggering backwards. Nathaniel pushes the referee out of his way, and goes right on the offensive by leaping after Jason Kash. After a few quick right hands, Nathaniel is able to get Jason Kash down to one knee. Nathaniel darts across and comes back, dropkicking the World Champion in the head.
Harvey: What a move by the former champion!
Chase: He’s got the cover!
1 . . . 2 . . . NO!
Kash gets the shoulder up, but Nathaniel wastes no time in getting right back on him. Nathaniel pins Kash down, gets on top of him, and begins to beat him right more right hands. The referee begins to utilize the 5 count, and Nathaniel stops at 4.
Harvey: Nathaniel might want to watch it, he could get disqualified here!
Chase: Didn’t see you saying that when Kash was ignoring the ref…
Harvey: Kash has nothing to lose here! A disqualification sends him home with the belt! Nathaniel has to BEAT Kash in order to win the belt back!
Nathaniel gets back to his feet, and kicks Kash in the head a couple times, as the Champion fights to stand up. Kash finally gets to his feet, and Nathaniel whips him across the ring. Nathaniel bends down to flip Kash over him, but Kash stops mid-run, and kicks Nathaniel. As Nathaniel staggers back, Kash runs at him a delivers a clothesline. Nathaniel pops right back up, and is met with another clothesline. Yet again, Nathaniel pops right back up, but is met with a scoop-slam this time around, that keeps him grounded. Kash takes this opportunity to land some very solid knees to the forehead of the Enforcer of Sorrow. After the mind-numbing knees of Jason Kash, he darts across the ring and comes back to deliver a huge leg drop. After which, he goes for a pin attempt.
1 . . . 2 . . . NO!
Nathaniel is able to get his shoulder up, and the champion gets back to work, immediately applying a sleeper hold to wear down his foe. The two roll around on the mat a bit, but Jason Kash keeps the hold firmly applied. It seems as if Nathaniel is beginning to fade away, when all of the sudden, he has a sudden burst of energy. He gets to his feet slowly, but quickly begins to back up, crushing Kash between his body, and the turnbuckles behind him. With the wind knocked out of Kash, Nathaniel is able to escape the hold applied by the champion. He runs right back over to Kash however, delivering a running knee lift that connects right to the jaw. Nathaniel stands on the second rope over-top of the champion, and clutches his head in place for a bulldog. Nathaniel leaps off the second rope, and falls down to the mat, without Kash’s head in between his arm.
Harvey: Kash held onto the rope! He held onto the rope, Chase! Nathaniel knew that he had to hit something solid and fast, but Kash was ready for it!
Chase: Smart move by the champion, but he won’t be champion long!
Harvey: I disagree! I think that this is Kash’s night! Nathaniel was able to get a cheap victory over him a little over a month ago! But when Kash and Havok meet when they’re both fresh, I think Kash is going to win every single time!
Chase: You would think that! Shows what kind of man you are… And I use the word man VERY loosely!
Nathaniel is able to get to his feet while Kash is still reeling a bit from the high-knee. Nathaniel runs back over to Kash, but Kash moves out of the corner, and Havok hit’s the turnbuckle sternum first. He bounces back, staggering out of the corner. Kash stalks him and waits for Havok to turn around. When Havok finally does, Kash locks him up and delivers a solid T-bone Suplex to the former champion. Kash goes for the pin…
1 . . . 2 . . NO!
Nathaniel is able to get the shoulder up again, and Kash doesn’t seem surprised. The champion gets to his feet and begins to stomp all over the body of the Enforcer of Sorrow. Nathaniel fights to get to his feet, but Kash grabs him by the belt, and throws him right back down. With Nathaniel on all fours, Kash kicks him right in the gut, taking all the air out of Nathaniel’s lungs. He then picks up the former World Champion by the hair, and whips him into the corner. With Nathaniel well-placed in the corner, Jason then places him in a tree-of-woe position. With Nathaniel now upside-down, Kash delivers a few boots to his chest and face. Jason then backs up, and motions as if he’s smoking a blunt. He blows the fake smoke out before acting like he’s throwing the blunt on the ground, and stomping it out with his foot. He smirks at the now-cheering crowd and smiles. He darts across the ring and attempts a corner Senton. Nathaniel has the wherewithal to pull himself up, sending Kash flipping into the bottom two turnbuckles.
Harvey: Back and forth, back and forth! These two are incredible!
Chase: Nathaniel’s got his number, Harv! I hope you know that!
Nathaniel completes his climb by turning on the top rope. He awaits Kash to get to his feet, as he plans on landing a huge move. Kash finally gets to his feet, and turns just in time to see Nathaniel flying at him. He dodges the big move, but Nathaniel has the agility to land on his feet. He darts back at a stunned Jason Kash, and clotheslines him out of the ring. Kash however, lands in his feet, but his back is facing the ring. Nathaniel sees an opening, and decides to risk it all. He leaps over the ropes and begins to fly to the outside. At the last second, Kash turns to see Nathaniel coming right for him, and moves out of the way. Nathaniel hit’s the barricade ribs first, and goes crashing down to the floor below. As the fans pop huge for Jason Kash, inside the ring, the referee seems torn. Instead of beginning his 10 count, he leaves the ring to go check on Nathaniel, who is now rolling around on the floormat below the ring apron.
Chase: Oh no, Harv! Nathaniel might be very hurt here!
Harvey: Broken ribs, punctured lung, who knows! All we know is that he hit that barricade hard!
The referee checks on Nathaniel as Jason Kash now begins to pander to the crowd. As the fans continue to adore their World Heavyweight Champion, the referee gets to his feet and makes an “X” with his arms, signaling that Nathaniel Havok is seriously injured.
Chase: No, no, no! We all know what that means! Nathaniel Havok might be seriously injured here, Harv!
Harvey: He continues to roll around down there, and he’s still holding onto his ribs. He might not be able to breath! This could be serious.
The referee walks over to Jason Kash, instructing him to stay away from Nathaniel Havok. Once again, the referee makes the “X” sign with his arms, as he awaits paramedics to come tend to the fallen Enforcer of Sorrow.
Chase: Nathaniel’s really hurt here, Harv. I’m afraid this might be a long-term injury!
Harvey: If we can get a replay here, you’ll see just how hard that he hit that steel barricade.
As the production truck shows a Double Feature of live TV and a replay of what happened, Jason Kash walks off in the distance, not knowing what to do. He then walks back over to the referee and bends down to speak with him. All of the sudden, Nathaniel grabs Kash by the arm and throws him into the steel steps.
Harvey: WHAT!?!? That son of a bitch! He was playing possum the whole time!
Chase: I knew it! Nathaniel Havok deserves an Oscar! He deserves an Academy Award!
Nathaniel slowly gets to his feet, still clutching his mid-section with one arm. With the other arm, he begins pointing towards his brain, indicating his intelligence. He turns back to see that Jason Kash is sitting with his back against the steps. Nathaniel then darts at him, kneeing him in the head. Kash falls to the floor below, seemingly knocked out cold. The referee rushes over to Jason as Nathaniel rolls into the ring. He stands up and taunts the crowd as the referee continues to check on Jason Kash. Nathaniel continues to pander to the crowd on hand, and doesn’t see that Jason Kash has pulled himself up, and is now leaning on the steps to maintain his balance.
Harvey: Unbelievable! The champion is to his feet! He should still be out cold!
Chase: He’s as tough as they come, but he’s not as tough as the real World Champion!
Harvey: …He is the real World Champion.
Chase: Not in my eyes, and not in the eyes of the fans either!
Harvey: Sure, whatever you say.
By now, Nathaniel has turned around and noticed that the champion is to his feet on the outside. Nathaniel takes another risk, darting across the ring. Nathaniel attempts a baseball slide, but the champion is able to dodge it. Nathaniel slides right out of the ring, and hit’s the floor below. Exhausted, Jason Kash rolls back into the ring, and props himself up in the corner. The referee checks on Nathaniel who begins to stir, already making it to his feet. The referee slides back into the ring, and then checks on the champion. Afterwards, the referee begins to utilize his 10 count.
1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . .
Harvey: Wait a minute, what in the hell is Chaz Dillinger doing out here?
Chase: YES! He brought Helena with him! This is awesome!
Chaz runs down the ramp, and jumps onto the ring apron. The referee breaks his 10 count, and runs over to yell at Dillinger. While Jason watches the referee argue with Chaz, Nathaniel rolls back into the ring. Jason goes right back on the offensive, stomping on Nathaniel as soon as he rolls back in. Helena runs around the ring to the timekeepers position and grabs the APW World Heavyweight Championship. As Nathaniel continues to struggle to his feet, she blindly tosses the title over the ropes. Both Nathaniel and Jason jump up to grab the title, but Jason has the better hands. Jason cocks back, blasts Nathaniel with the title, and throws it back out of the ring. He then runs across the ring and uses his momentum to knock Dillinger off with. With Dillinger no longer playing a role in the equation, Kash darts back over to Nathaniel and makes the cover…
Harvey: It’s over! He’s got it!
1 . . . 2 . . .
Harvey: NO! DAMMIT! Helena put Nathaniel’s foot on the rope! Come on, now!
The referee sees what has transpired, and doesn’t seem pleased. In a rage, he motions that both Chaz and Helena have been ejected. Helena begins to throw a fit, running over to Chaz who has just gotten to his feet. With Chaz now in a rage, he hops back onto the ring apron, and begins to yet again argue with the referee.
Chase: Wait, what the…
Harvey: Jeff! It’s Jeff! Here he comes!
Sprinting down the ramp in his suit is APW President, Hurricane Jeff. He runs right up to Chaz Dillinger and yanks him off the ring apron. Chaz turns around, stunned and in awe that the APW President has made his way out to ringside. Jeff however, doesn’t hesitate in bringing his arm back, and blasting Chaz in the face with a huge right hand. Chaz falls right down to the floor below, and Helena drops to her knees to check on him. In the ring, Kash watches on with a smirk on his face as Nathaniel pulls himself up by the ropes, angered at what he sees. Jeff looks at Nathaniel, and the two share an evil glare at one another. Jeff then informs Nathaniel to turn around, and when he does, he’s met with a U.T.I.!
Harvey: U.T.I! Kash hit the U.T.I.!
Chase: NO! DAMN JEFF!
Chaz hops back up to his feet and tries to rush into the ring. Jeff wastes no time in tackling him back down to the ground, while inside the ring, Kash immediately goes for a cover!
1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!
Winner and still APW World Heavyweight Champion: Jason Kash
Harvey: He’s done it! He’s done it! Kash retains the title! It’s over!
Chase: NOOOOOOOOO! WHY?
“Houston” by Slim Thug hits on the PA system, as the timekeeper rings the bell. Jason Kash hops up to his feet as Jeff finally gets off of Chaz Dillinger. Chaz jumps to his feet, and thinks twice before attacking the APW President. He begins to back up the ramp, as Jeff makes sure he leaves. In the ring, Kash is handed the title, as Nathaniel still remains motionless on the canvas.
Paige: Here is your winner, and STILL APW World Heavyweight Champion… The Influence, Jason Kash!
Jason Kash raises his arms and title high into the air, much to the delight of the APW fans. He then exit’s the ring, walking up the ramp backwards and smirking into the ring at a still motionless Nathaniel Havok. Nathaniel begins to stir as Kash reaches the top of the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, Jeff now focuses his attention on Nathaniel. Nathaniel looks around, sees both Jeff and Kash, and realizes what has happened. In the ring, he begins to throw a temper tantrum. At the top of the ramp, Kash chuckles to himself, and then turns towards the backstage area.
With Kash out of sight, Nathaniel turns his rage towards the APW President, who still remains outside the ring. Nathaniel demands a microphone, and Nicky Paige promptly brings one to him.
Havok: I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE! JEFF, YOU SCREWED ME! GOD DAMMIT! DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMIT!!!
Jeff smirks at Nathaniel, shaking his head in disgust. Jeff begins to back up to the top of the ramp, arms folded and glaring at the Enforcer of Sorrow.
Havok: THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! DAMMIT, YOU’RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS! YOU’RE GOING TO PAY!
Jeff also chuckles to himself, and makes his way to the back. Nathaniel stands in the ring quite irritated, as Overdrive heads to commercial.

A green light fills the entrance way as "Shooting Star" by Black Stone Cherry begins to play and the fans jump to their feet, cheering loudly. After a few moments, the APW Undisputed champion C.J. Gates steps out from the back with the title around his waist and raises both arms at the top of the ramp. The cheers grow as he makes his way down the ramp, tagging hands with some of the fans at ringside before sliding into the ring. He gets up and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, pointing out to all of the fans before unclasping the title and raising it high into the air. He climbs back down and slings the belt over his shoulder as he paces around the ring a bit.
C.J. Gates: Well, I may not have won, but wasn't that one hell of a Survive and Conquer match this year?
The fans cheer some more as Gates nods his head.
C.J. Gates: Eighty-six competitors, numerous companies, bad blood coursing through the entire event, and while I may not have won, I'm pretty sure that I did my part in making sure all of you enjoyed the match. And besides, finishing seventh out of eighty-six is a pretty good way to end the night if you ask me. Though, as fantastic as Survive and Conquer was, that's not truly why I'm out here right now. I'm out here because there seems to be this overwhelming opinion in the back that I took the cowards way out of defending the Undisputed title at Survive and Conquer.
Boos raise up from the fans at the thought of Gates taking the cowards way out. Gates raises a hand.
C.J. Gates: I know, I'm just as disappointed about it as all of you are. I mean, it's not like I took the night off to rest up and make sure that I was one hundred percent prepared for Rasslemania. I fought to defend APW. I fought to defend this company. But of course there are some who just don't buy that. There are some who continue to call me a coward, a disgrace of a champion, someone who isn't worthy of flying the APW flag.
And I guess I could see their points if I ever backed down from a challenge. I could see where they were coming from if there was an actual match lined up for Survive and Conquer that I turned my back on. But there wasn't. Instead, I went out and tried to do what I always do. Just like I did at Ascension and the Extreme Tournament last year, at Supremacy, at Test for the Best, at Dreams and Nightmares, at Destiny...I saw the challenge and I accepted it, without so much as a hesitation. I saw the challenge of defending APW in that ring, and I accepted it. But still...
#SIMPLY #FN #PUT
"Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple begins to play as the APW Overdrive champion Johnny Rebel makes his way out from the back, microphone in hand, to a chorus of boos. He stops at the top of the ramp and gives off a cocky smirk before making his way down the ramp, talking as he does.
Rebel: Blah, blah, blah. Come on C.J., it doesn't matter how you try and sugarcoat it, the truth is that you are the coward that everyone is saying you are. There's no reason why you couldn't have defended the title and then fought to defend APW. Or is that just another one of those supreme choices that has to be made, even if it makes you look like a complete fool.
By this time, Rebel is at ringside and climbs up onto the apron and into the ring.
Rebel: Yeah, sure, you competed in those tournaments and you've fought all of those people, but the one thing that you didn't do? You didn't defend your title and that is what everyone will remember you for. For taking the chicken's way out. Can't say I blame you though, since I'm sure by now you've realized that you aren't the top dog that you thought you were.
Gates shakes his head as Rebel continues.
Rebel: I mean, just look at Survive and Conquer. Sally Talfourd, Kurt Noble, and most importantly, me. We all lasted longer than you. We all proved that we are better than you.
Gates: Better than me? You can't even beat me one on one, yet you think you're better than me? This is just as outlandish as everyone calling me a coward for not defending my title at Survive and Conquer. After all, no ones calling for your head for not defending your title.
Rebel takes a step back and smirks, before glaring over at the Undisputed champion.
Rebel: I'm not the one who is on trial, you piece of North Dakotan trash. But why don't you stay true to your word. After all that has gone on between us, Gates, why don't we just make it official. Let's stop pussyfooting around, stop backing out and just declare that at Rasslemania, it will be Johnny Rebel against C.J. Gates for the APW Undisputed title!
Harvey: What?! Could it be?
Chase: I hope so. Anyone is better as champion then Gates!
Before anyone can say anything, "I Will Not Bow" by Breaking Benjamin begins to play as the fans cheer the arrival of Kurt Noble. He raises his cane into the air, never breaking eye contact with Rebel, before limping down the ramp and climbing into the ring. He and Gates share a pat on the back before Noble gets his microphone.
Noble: Let me get this straight, Johnny...You think that you should get the next Undisputed title shot because you lasted a fraction longer than Gates did at Survive and Conquer. That's it, right? That's the only reasoning you have for it? Because if that's your way of thinking, then I should get that shot ahead of you because I outlasted both of you and finished third.
Rebel looks steamed as he shakes his head, angry, as Gates watches on, a slight smile on his face.
Noble: And as C.J. already mentioned, you have never been able to beat him. Every time you try, you fail, and come up with some convuluted reason as to why. And then you go right back to claiming you're the best. It sounds more like you enjoy spending your time bullying others around then actually proving you are better than them.
Rebel: Oh, I've proved myself on plenty of occassions. If it wasn't for your underhanded tactics, I'd have never lost the Overdrive title to an over the hill has been like you. Besides, it's not like you've been able to beat him either.
Noble: True, but I've also never claimed to be the best in the world. I've never claimed that this was my company without actually standing at the top. I see everything that C.J. has done for APW, and I commend him for all of that. He's helping make APW one of the best places around and people like you can't fathom the thought that you aren't the one making headlines.
Rebel glances around before smiling, as a commotion can be heard at ringside.
Rebel: Maybe you're right, Kurt. Maybe I'm just in it for the headlines.
It's at that moment that Rebel lunges forward and hits Noble in the head with the butt end of the microphone. Gates turns to attack, but before he can, he is cracked over the head by a steal chair from Blade!
Harvey: Blade slid into the ring at just the right time!
Chase: It was the plan all along! Johnny Rebel for Undisputed champion!
The two hammer away on Gates and Noble a bit longer before they exit the ring and head up the ramp together. The men in the ring slowly stir as Rebel and Blade raise their arms at the top of the ramp to a massive amount of boos from the crowd.
Harvey: Another horrible attack by the Overdrive champion and Blade.
Chase: Well, if Gates were an actual champion and weren't so naive, none of this would happen!
Overdrive cuts to a commercial as Rebel and Blade chuckle from the top of the ramp as the beaten heroes begin to come to.

Chase: Welcome back and we move on with what promises to be a good matchHarvey: Yeah great, two new comers looking to make a name for themselves; I have seen this before, but let’s see if this lives up to the hype.Chase: Well let’s join Paige with their introductions…Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first hailing from the wrong side of the tracks, weighing in at 212lbs… DREGGS!!!Devil without a Cause hits the loud speakers and Dreggs makes his way slowly to the ring. He doesn't shake hands with any fans. He ignores them. He walks to the ring with a shovel in hand. Once he's in the ring, he poses with his shovel. Harvey: Wow, this kid is cool, look at his shovel.Chase; I guess its one gimmick we haven’t seen, Oh wait maybe he knows Donovan Caine…Paige: Introducing his opponent, from parts Unknown, weighing in at 170lbs… COBRA!!!!COBRA makes his way down to the ring, hidden beneath a hooded robe. Once inside, He pulls back the hood to reveal either a mask or face paint. He climbs the turn buckles and spits mist up in a sea of green over the fans. He then hops down and a waits for the match to begin. Harvey: Well we saw this kid’s promo video at Survive3 and Conquer, let’s see if he can match it with his wrestling. We are in for one hell of a high flying bout I reckon…Chase: One with lots of Venom; let’s get it on…Singles Match Dreggs vs. COBRA The referee calls for the bell as Cobra begins to circle Dreggs looking for an opportunity to take him down. Making the first move Cobra goes for the knees of Dreggs but is quickly swatted away, dropping him to one knee. Getting back to his feet he takes a step back to reassess the situation. Dreggs pulls off a pose as the fans begin to jeer and taunt them both. Harvey: I believe both of these are going to have to make a move soon because the fans really aren’t taking a shine to this match.Chase: Ditto…Both men charge at each other, hooking up in the center of the ring. Dreggs is able to use his height and weight advantage taking Cobra down with a wrist lock, Cobra is wriggling furiously and begins to build some momentum eventually getting to his feet with his arm still locked in place; he begins to hit Dreggs across the back and finally with a kick to the stomach knocking him slightly; using his the elevation he has gains he spins over Dreggs’ arm and reverses the hold. Raising his arm in the air he releases it and drops his fist on the back of Dreggs’ back, running and bouncing off the ropes he dropkicks Dreggs in the face knocking him to the canvas. Looking to capitalize he once again uses the ropes for elevation bouncing of the middle rope and landing his body across a limp body of Dreggs. Cobra goes for the early pin… 1 . . 2 . Kickout… Dreggs manages to pull his shoulder off the canvas quickly as Cobra fails to put this one away so early. Cobra slaps the canvas in frustration and begins to stomp a mudhole in Dreggs keeping him on the mat. Using his ropes to his advantage one more time, he bounces off the middle rope looking to hit the same move as before but this time Dreggs clocks it and rolls out of the way leaving Cobra tasting the mat. Using the ropes to help him back to his feet, Dreggs makes his way over and pulls Cobra to his feet using the mask; he slaps him across the face and locks him up hitting a German Suplex quickly covering Cobra. 1… Kickout!! Chase: He didn’t even try there, one move won’t keep the Cobra down..Harvey: Too right, put him down for good.Dreggs looks to the crowd and poses as if he is signaling for his shovel. He drags Cobra back to his feet and begins to unload with a series of right and lefts before whipping him hard into the turnbuckle following up with a clothesline to the neck. He raises his arm and whips him across the ring hard into the opposite turnbuckle when Cobra’s head hits it and send him hard into the mat. Dreggs is quick to carry on the pressure and throws himself into the ropes crashing down on the back of Cobra’s head with his knees. Chase: Damn that had to hurt.Dreggs pulls Cobra into the center of the ring and stalks him waiting for his opportunity to pounce. As Cobra is about to pull himself up, Dreggs launches himself into the ropes and comes back hard with a Shining Wizard… Harvey: Oh Damn!!Chase: Cobra read that and moved out of the way just in time. Both men are trying to gain a breath as they both pull themselves up using the ropes. Charging at each other Dreggs ducks a clothesline from Cobra as they both bounce back off the ropes, Cobra manages to duck a clothesline from Dreggs this time; as they bounce back Cobra send himself flying knocking Dreggs to his back with a flying cross body he covers. 1 . . 2 . Kickout! Chase: Both men trying to gain momentum, but this time Cobra looks like he is coming out on top, he just needs to keep his cool and stop taking his frustrations out on the mat.Cobra pulls Dreggs to his feet using his hair and locks him up in a headlock, dragging him to the ropes he elevates and lands a corkscrew DDT planting Dreggs hard into the canvas. Cobra is straight to his feet and points to the top rope. He makes his way out of the ring and heads to the top signaling to the ceiling when he arrives. Chase: This looks like it could be big…Cobra launches himself in the air an looks to land a Moonsault but just before he lands, Dreggs manages to roll up out of the way. Cobra comes crashing down and bounces hard off the canvas. Harvey: If you take a risk, you had better make sure it pays off…Both men are making it back to their feet slowly after spending a lot of time missing the high flying moves. Dreggs is the first to pounce and kicks Cobra in the stomach looking to hit The D! Cobra manages to kick Dreggs backwards into the referee knocking him off balance and bounces off the ropes and locks Dreggs in a Cobra clutch. Dreggs manages to use his weight advantage to shift the momentum and breaks the hold slamming Cobra into the corner. The referee has gone down and Dreggs charges at Cobra. Cobra moves forward and releases a funny green liquid from his mouth blindsiding Dreggs and he jumps back holding his face. Cobra kicks him below the belt as Dreggs falls to the floor and he covers. Chase: WOAH!! That’s cheating, Referee don’t count that…The referee is still dazed but manages to find his way around to make the cover 1 . . 2 . . 3!!!! Winner: Cobra Chase: Cobra did it, he defeated the Dreggs on his debut.Harvey: About time, what’s next?Paige: Here is your winner by way of pinfall… COBRA!!!!!Chase: Well he cheated to win, but a win’s a win on his debut here on Overdrive

The camera comes in backstage to a quite depressed Nathaniel Havok. He head is in his hands, a body of exhaustion. His loss against Jason Kash - retaining champion - is a hard pill to swallow. Sally: Sucks, doesn’t it.The camera comes away and finds Sally Talfourd standing over him. Havok has’t noticed. Or if he did, he tried to ignore her so that she’d go away. Sally crouches down alongside him. Sally: Though I can’t imagine it hurts as much as being beaten down by someone you thought was a friend.Havok looks up, out of his hands, to glare at Sally. Havok: Are you here to gloat? Or ... something more vengeful?Sally: Neither. Thought I’d just come and see what karma looks like. It really does look like a bitch.Sally lets out a short laugh. then shoves Havok down the line of the bench to sit next to him. Sally: Remember when we were a team? How awesome we were? And then remember how it ended? You beat me down in the ring in a farewell of sorts to the crowd? Havok: Why haven’t you done anything about it?Sally: Did you think I would?Havok: Yeah.Sally: Have you been keeping an eye out for me since I’ve been back?Havok: Yes.Sally: Looking over your shoulder? Making sure you go in pairs?Havok: I guess.Sally: Then I guess I did do something.A smile creeps across Sally’s face as Havok buries his face in his hands again. Sally: You never got it, did you Havok? I’m nothing like you. I never was. Even when I fell off the rails, I was still never committed to being “the bad girl”. I was always here for the right reasons. The good reasons. I was never like you.Sally looks at Nathaniel, as he looks right back. She stands up, ruffles his sweaty head, and walks away. Nathaniel watches her in awe, as she vanishes out of sight. He then gets up, shakes his head, and begins to walk like he’s got a mission as the scene fades back to ringside. Harvey: Next up folks we have what is sure to be a barn burning hell raiser of a match as two of APWs newest recruits set out to prove their worth and light up the ring. Chase: Glad to see you’re finally using my Christmas present. Harvey: Both these men certainly have history in the ring but will they be able to take control in front of the APW faithful. Darkness consumes most of the arena except for the entrance as the crowd boo loudly, blue and white strobe lights circling around in stationary motion as "Insurrection" by Lamb of God plays from the speakers. Soon enough the lights scatter and spread across the shadowed tiers of the arena in rhythm as Matt Slater walks out from behind the curtain, bearing a stoic expression on his face. He slowly strolls onto center stage and stands relaxed with his head bowed, listening to the repetitive drum and bass chords that resound from the speakers. After raising his head up, Slater exhales slowly, taking a methodical stride down the ramp without rushing, the lights sweeping all around him that create an atmospheric scene one can only truly experience live inside the arena. Harvey: Here comes a rather stoic and menacing looking Matt Slater. He is looking to do some damage here tonight.Chase: Especially if Harris continues to mouth off about his previous accomplishments. The man needs a good slap. Paige: Making his way to the ring first, he hails from Manchester, England.Chase: ANOTHER FOREIGNER! WE’RE BEING INVADED!Paige: …he is Matt… SLA TERRRR!After a while of walking, Slater reaches the ringside area and uses the stairs to ascend onto the apron, walking alongside it slowly as he brushes his hand across the ropes. Looking around momentarily with pure loathing, Slater steps through the ropes and strolls across the ring, walking to the far turnbuckle and mounting its formations. Slater glances out at the crowd without raising his arms or doing any kind of gesturing motion, simply surveying those who boo his presence. After a short while Slater climbs down and walks back to the center of the ring, ready and willing to take on his opponent. Harvey: And here comes the man using his past like a proverbial clutch. In the arena where all the fans sit awaiting the next bit of action to take place. The lights suddenly go out and the titantron comes on only to show a graphic featuring the letters "MH" wrapped in barbwire. It's about that time "Tear It Up" begins to blare over the arena's speakers and there's an instant reaction from the crowd. Some cheered and some booed for the simple fact they knew who was about to appear. A single spotlight shined down on the entrance way as wrestling legend: Michael Harris stepped out from behind the curtains and onto the stage where the spotlight shined down on him. He was dressed in his ring gear with a beanie on his head. Harris simply looked around at the crowd before smirking all cocky like. Moments later he started to make his way down the ramp. Paige: And his opponent, also making his APW debut, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the self-proclaimed Greatest Wrestler Alive Today, he is MICHAELLLLLLLLL HARRRRRISSSS!Harvey: Cocky guy, ain’t he.Chase: We’ll see how cocky he is at the end of the match. Once he had got to the ring he slid into it from under the bottom rope and got up to his feet. His first instinct was to climb the nearest turnbuckle which he did. Harris proceeded to tilt his head back and throw his arms out to the side for his signature "Bow to me" taunt. There was a little more cheering from the crowd at this point. Moments later he took off his beanie tossing it into the crowd and jumped down off the turnbuckle. Harris proceeded to lean in that corner as the lights came back on and his music began to fade. Soon enough it was going to be all about business. Harvey: Well some elaborate entrances from our new debutants. Chase: They better not be coming out of my pay slip. Michael Harris Vs Matt Slater
The match begins with Slater glaring at Harris as Harris begins mouthing off almost immediately. Harris begins to furiously point at himself, allowing his defenses to be lowered at the same time and Slater takes advantage of this situation by slugging Harris across the jaw. Harris staggers back but before he can escape the reach of Slater, Slater takes him down with an overhead… takedown…
Harvey: Matt Slater is wasting no time here, keeping up a full attack on Harris. He looks in control and he looks comfortable in doing so.
Chase: That’s the problem when arrogance gets the better of you. Harris left himself open to attack Slater leapt.
Harvey: Truly this is a game of human chess.
Slater slips behind Harris on the ground and begins working on the arm, wrenching it up as hard as he possibly can. He continues to wear down the arm for a few brief moments but Harris begins using his free arm to throw elbow after elbow to the face of Matt Slater. Slater becomes dazed and begins to let go of his firm grip of Harris’ arm. Harris is quick to take advantage of the opening, springing back up to his feet and staying on the attack with a series of elbows across the jaw of Slater. He grabs Slate and tosses him into the ropes but as he goes from a back drop, Slater slides between his legs and in a feat of quickness locks in a sleeper hold.
Chase: I’ve never seen such fast actions from a competitor, Slater is impressing me right here.
Harvey: Well Harris may have a loud mouth but he’s staying pace with Slater. This is still wide open.
Harris begins to struggle in the sleeper hold, losing more and more conciseness and Slater begins locking in the hold tighter and tighter. The referee continues to ask Harris is he submits be he refuses to give in. After 30 seconds and a very tight sleeper, Harris begins to go limp. The referee goes to check on him.
The arm drops once. . . .
The arm drops twice. . . .
Harris gains a quick second wind before the arm drops for a third and final time. He manages to escape from the hold by allowing himself to drop, giving Slater a jawbreaker at the same time. Slater ends up doing a 360 degrees turn, completely dazed by the drop. In a desperation move, just as Slater completes his turn, Harris lunges towards him, spearing him to the ground.
Harvey: HE CALLS THAT THE BROOKLYN KNOCKOUT!
Chase: HE’S NOT EVEN FROM BROOKLYN!
Trying to ensure his victory, Harris scrambles around to hook Slater’s leg.
1 . . . 2 . . .
NO!
Harvey: Kickout!
Chase: I’m worried that Harris used up what he had left in the tank to make that spear.
Both men look completely out of it on the back of Harris’ desperation move, although both begin to slowly struggle to their feet. As they reach for each other and use each other to get back up to a vertical base, they begin to slug at each other. Slater and Harris exchange a few slow but forceful shots at each other but Slater shows a bit of mental acumen, slipping behind Harris on the back of one his wild punches and grabbing him at the waist. He drops Harris with a german suplex and bridges it for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . .
Harris manages to kick out of the pin attempt pretty safely. Although Harris manages to kick out, Slater keeps his arms wrapped around the guttal region of Harris and begins trying to lift him up, looking perhaps for a second german suplex. As he pulls Harris back up, Harris begins once again to struggle with the grip of Slater. After a few seconds, Harris manages to actually slip behind Slater, locking him up in a waistlock of his very own. This time it is Slater’s turn to struggle for freedom from the grip and he manages to do so. As he does, he turns back around to face Harris directly in the eye. Harris begins jawing off at Slater again and Slater’s temper gets the better of him as he shoves Harris very hard into the ropes.
Harvey: Both men are on very even footing here and frustration has begun to show its ugly face.
Harris rebounds off the ropes and delivers a powerful shove of his own, sending Matt Slater to the centre of the ring. Harris doesn’t allow any space to be created, following the staggering Slater. Slater comes forward to go for another shove but as he gets all up in Harris’ area, Harris quickly takes advantage of the opening, dropping Slater with The Harris Effect. Harris drops and hooks.
1 . . .
2 . . .
3!
Winner: Michael Harris. Harvey: Neither man should be ashamed of that display!Chase: One mistake is all it takes sometimes and on this occasion, Matt Slater just allowed Michael Harris to enter. Harvey: …Paige: Here is your winner... MICHAEL HARRRISSSS!Harris throws his arms up in victory as Slater remains out cold on the mat and we go to commercial

President Jeff is relaxing in his office after a stressful week surrounding Survive and Conquer when he hears a knock on his door. He rolls his eyes as he yells for the person on the other side to come on in to which they oblige. Violet and her twin sister Kia LeWinter walk into President Jeff's office as if they owned the place. Violet: Mr. President, we are sorry to inconvenience you and your little all important down time but survive and conquer proved to be nothing more then bad business for both the APW and the Sindicate empires respectively.Violet stops in-front of President Jeff's desk and folds her hands as the more sexually suggestive Kia made her way around the desk and wrapped an arm around President Jeff who looked at her suspiciously. Kia: What my sister is trying to say that Survive and Conquer was an absolute failure. Who is this Alioth Starre and how exactly was he allowed to upset our own respective talent!?President Jeff: Well... he won. What makes you think I have any control over it?Kia smiled. Kia: Control... you see this is why the APW will never be as great as it could be because YOU Jeffery... you lack control.President Jeff: I don't like your tone, lady...President Jeff said pushing Kia away from him as she remained persistent. President Jeff: What the hell do you want!?Kia: Jeffery, you may not be able to change the outcome of survive and conquer but you can and you will re-write a wrong! You see at Survive and Conquer the image and marketability of one of our ''potential'' stars were screwed out of the eligibility of the final four in favor of a unruly, unsavory and despicable creature in Johnny Knuckles. I don't know what kind of kick backs you're getting from his stupid energy drink but the situation MUST be rectified!Violet leaned forward as she put a single finger on the jaw of President Jeff pulling his attention to her. Violet: Please, excuse my sisters tone. Mr. President on behalf of Felipe DeLoren we kindly request that you review the footage with a careful unbiased eye and come to the conclusion that Sally Talfourd was in fact NOT eliminated in the match at Survive and Conquer and thus all eliminations thereafter are null in void.
President Jeff shook his head back and forth; he wasn't buying it. President Jeff: It isn't going to happen! And until Sally Talfourd even takes issue with her elimination on her own accord I will not even entertain reviewing the footage.Kia removes her hand from the shoulders of President Jeff in disgust. Kia: Jeffery, you are messing with the wrong people! I'll have you know that Felipe DeLoren's lawyers are on this and we will be taking this to court!Violet merely grinned. Violet: Our case relies on the fact that Johnny Knuckles was deemed ''eliminated'' by a referee and the decision was not ''officially'' overturned until ''after'' Knuckles had ''illegally'' returned to the ring and ''eliminated'' Sally Talfourd! Mr. President I hope that you are aware this will probably be the last survive and conquer you ever host. Good day!Violet turned her back on President Jeff and marched out of his office. A scowling President Jeff shooed his sister Kia away who left with a great deal of anger and hatred burning in her eyes. As the two sisters left his office they were met by their boyfriend, Felipe DeLoren. Violet: Sorry, sir... we couldn't convince him.Kia: Felipe, you're going to have to contest this in court. Felipe DeLoren's face suddenly becomes twisted with rage once hearing the news. Felipe DeLoren: YOU HAVE FAILED ME AGAIN! I WILL NOT TAKE THAT BASTARD TO COURT... I WILL TAKE HIM AND HIS PRECIOUS APW STRAIGHT TO HELL!
Felipe DeLoren grabbed the hands of both of his girlfriend's and violently pulled them alongside him as he storms off past the views of the watching cameras and we go to ringside Harvey: We have yet another title match for you right now ladies and gentlemen. This time it’s for the Ultimate X match for the vacant APW Xtreme Championship.Chase: The wrongfully vacated Xtreme Championship you should be saying.Harvey: That is a matter of debate, but if I can just cast your mind back a few weeks: President Jeff confiscated this title from then World Heavyweight Champion Nathaniel Havok.Chase: Yes, and the question is why hasn’t Jeff given Havok first refusal at winning this title?Harvey: I guess Jeff felt he didn’t deserve it.Chase: So you admit Jeff is conspiring against ‘The Enforcer of Sorrow’.Harvey: No, what I do admit though is this is a fantastic opportunity for the four men who are about to challenge for the title. We switch from the announce table to Nicky Paige in the ring. Paige: The following contest is an Ultimate X match and it is for the APW Xtreme Championship. The lights go down in the arena and a red spot light spans all over the crowd as they boo loudly then red and white pyrotechnics blast of at the top of the stage and Yarmouth comes out, accompanied by Dad, and swaggers down to the ramp ignoring the fans and climb in to the ring with his face looking ice cold. Paige: Introducing the challengers: From New York City, New York; he weighs 245lbs; he is ‘The Bad Ass Boom’...YARMOUTH!The house lights dim as the Doctor P remix of Example's “Last One Standing” starts to blare through the PA system. Purple, Yellow, and blue strobe lights start to flash on the stage as Zachary Rodell rushes out from behind the curtain. He heads over to the left side of the stage and throws his arms up to a light cheer from the crowd, before rushing to the other side and doing the same. The welcome isn't as warm as he expected, but most of the fans have no clue who he is so it will have to do for now. He makes it back to the center of the stage just as Example belts out the lyrics for which the song is named. Zach crouches slightly just as the words last ones standing are repeated. Then, right as the music hits the forty second mark and the beat drops, he hops up as purple and yellow pyro sprays up on either side of the ring. He then makes his way down the ramp and to the ring as the music continues, slapping hands with the kids in attendance – he's pretty sure a few of the adults slipped their hands in for a slap as well. Paige: From San Antonio, Texas; he weighs 205lbs; he is...ZACHARY RODELL!Zach stops slapping hands a few feet away from the ring and sprints the last bit before sliding into the ring under the bottom rope. Agile like a cat, Zach springs to his feet before running to the corner and hopping up to the second rope and throwing his arms up one more time before the house lights come back on and the music fades away. Darkness. There is the sound of a bell being tolled. “For Whom the Bell Tolls” begins to play. The song plays for one minute and 43 seconds before the main riff of the song kicks in and John Dionysus walks from behind the curtain – it is the only ostentatious event in the whole entrance. He takes a few steps forward and soaks in the response from the crowd, rotating his arms around his body and limbering up for the in-ring action. After about ten seconds Dionysus walks towards the ring. Dionysus stops as he reaches the end of the gangway, skips on his toes for a few seconds and then slides under the bottom rope into the ring. Paige: From Boston, Massachusetts; he weighs 255lbs; he is JOHN DIONYSUS!“Where Eagles Dare” by The Misfits begins play through the PA. Former APW Tag Team Champion Warren Peace steps through the curtain to a chorus boos, easily receiving the biggest reaction of all of the competitors in this match. Peace begins his walk to the ring, a sour look on his face as he exchanges some unpleasantness with a few members of the front row. Paige: The final challenger: from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; he weighs 200lbs...WARREN PEACE!Peace walks around to the announce table and grabs a microphone before sliding into the ring. Chase: Hey Darren, I think Warren has a few words to say.Harvey: That’s his problem, he’s always got something to say. There arena is filled with the sound of booing, Peace pauses to let it burn itself out, all the while mouthing off at the other competitors to give him some space to talk. The boos turn to a ‘STUD MUFFINS!’ chant and Peace starts to get irate, shaking his head and shouting to the crowd his exact thoughts about the new Tag Team Champions. Peace puts the mic to his mouth and his about to speak when Yarmouth runs at him and clotheslines him to the back of the head. Peace drops to the mat, the ref signals the bell to begin the match and the crowd pop. Ultimate X Match for APW Xtreme Championship (vacant) Warren Peace vs. John Dionysus vs. Yarmouth vs. Zachary Rodell
The match begins with Yarmouth continuing his assault on Warren Peace, delivering a few clubs to the head and shoulders before Biel-like throwing him into the corner and repeatedly stomping at the torso of the former Tag Team Champion; Dad is on the outside cheering Yarmouth on. Dionysus and Rodell start off trading closed fists and open palm strikes, Dionysus knocking Rodell off balance with a forearm to the face. Dionysus whips Rodell into the ropes and hangs out his right arm for a clothesline, but Rodell ducks and carries through the opposite ropes, holding onto the top rope and springboarding backwards from the middle rope onto Dionysus with the Quebrada. Rodell lands on top of Dionysus and takes him down to the mat. Rodell jumps up to his feet and throws out a taunt to the fans.
Harvey: A quick reminder of the rules in this match: there are no disqualifications, no count outs and winner is the first man to reach the belt suspended on cables above the ring and take possession of it.
Chase: Expect complete carnage in this one Darren.
Dionysus gets to his feet and Rodell tries to whip him towards the ropes, but Dionysus reverses and sends Rodell into the turnbuckle. Dionysus runs in and does his best attempt at decapitating Rodell with a stiff arm lariat. Dionysus props Rodell up against the turnbuckle, takes a few steps back and charges again but Rodell reverses with a back elbow. Rodell effortlessly hops onto the turnbuckle and instantly leaps off dropping Dionysus with a tornado kick to the head. Rodell walks to the corner begins climbing the steel structure.
Harvey: The mechanics of this match surely suit the lighter and more agile wrestlers in this match like Rodell and Peace.
Chase: Well I’m sure Yarmouth doesn’t have to do much climbing, look at the size of him. One big jump and he’s there.
Yarmouth walks over to Rodell and takes a big handful of his tights, yanking the cruiserweight off the steel structure and tossing him across the ring. Rodell quickly gets to his feet, but he is off balance and stumbles onto the ropes. Yarmouth charges at him, loud roar to go with it, and knocks Rodell over the top rope and out of the ring with a powerful arm lariat. Yarmouth gives it the big roar once again and thumps his chest a few times in a display of overbearing testosterone but is interrupted by Warren Peace who tries to blindside him with a forearm club to the back. Yarmouth turns around hardly noticing the effect of Peace’s blow and smiles. Peace tries to back away and puts both hands up to try and placate Yarmouth, but it has no effect. Yarmouth grabs Peace and Biel tosses him as though he weighed half of his 200lbs. Peace gets up clutching his back but Yarmouth charges and knocks him back down with a shoulder charge. Yarmouth wastes no time in continuing the offense, lifting Peace and dragging him across the ring before throwing the former tag champ over the top rope in a brutal display of strength. Dad gives him Yarmouth a warming thumbs up.
Harvey: By gosh, we’re are seeing a frightening display of strength by Yarmouth.
Chase: He certainly seems to be mad about something.
Harvey: Well whatever has him fired up is working because he is dominating this match so far. Did you see the velocity of Warren Peace as he came over the top rope and crashed into the mats near our announce table?
Chase: Like a sack of potatoes falling from a great height.
Yarmouth now sets his sights on Dionysus who is gingerly getting to his feet, or was getting to his feet because Yarmouth knocks him over again with a running knee to the ribs. Yarmouth lifts Dionysus into a reverse waist lock and tries to German suplex him, but Dionysus blocks and then throws his right elbow back into the face of Yarmouth. It takes about five or six for Yarmouth to release the hold, Dionysus spins so that he is facing Yarmouth side on, wraps his around ‘The Bad Ass Boom’ and delivers his signature body lock suplex. With both men down in the ring the camera cuts to ringside where Warren Peace is foraging under the ring for an equaliser; he pulls out a kendo stick which he seems pleased with. Peace doesn’t have long to stand admire the weapon though because Rodell tries to catch him off guard, but Peace adjusts quickly and whacks the kendo stick across the ribs of Rodell as he jumps off the ring apron. Rodell falls to his knees and Peace whacks the stick across Rodell’s back several times until the stick has been damaged beyond repair. Peace puts his foot against Rodell face and uses it to push him onto his back. Peace starts to climb the steel structure.
Harvey: Warren Peace has already tasted Championship gold in APW, whereas the other three challengers are still largely untested in this match.
Chase: That is exactly why I have made Warren Peace my favourite to win. He’s the smartest wrestler in the field, and we’re starting to see that with the way he has isolated Zachary Rodell outside the ring before climbing for the gold.
Elsewhere Yarmouth has regained control of Dionysus in the brawl between the two big men in this match. Yarmouth has Dionysus in position where he is laying face up on the mat with his head overhanging the ring apron. Yarmouth gives himself a few paces to build momentum and drives his elbow into the face of Dionysus; repeating this attack several times over. The camera cuts back to Warren Peace who is halfway up one of the steel pillars making the ‘Ultimate X’ structure. Rodell has begun his pursuit and being such a quick and agile climber he quickly catches up with Peace. The two men exchange a few blows and Rodell wins the exchange with a back elbow that causes Peace to lose his grip and crash into the crowd barrier. The first ‘holy shit’ chant starts up as well as a few ‘A-P-DUB’ heard from the back. Peace gets to his feet, Rodell is facing him from the up high and jumps off the scaffolding and connects with a flying Uraken that sends Peace crashing into and sprawling over the timekeeper’s table. Rodell grabs Peace, but is surprised as Peace swings around and smashes the ring bell into Rodell’s head knocking the high flyer clean off his feet. There is a pop from the nearby violence-loving fans. Peace sneers at them and snatches out of the hands of a female fan a sign saying ‘Sr. Guapo make me your senorita’ and tears it into several pieces. Peace turns his attention back to Rodell and lifts him to his feet, revealing that one side of Rodell’s face is smeared with blood.
Harvey: That crimson mask the evidence of the severity of that blow from Warren Peace to Zach Rodell.
Chase: This is why I think he will win this match – he is ruthless.
As Warren Peace leans Zach Rodell against the ring barrier and delivers a number of punches to the face the camera cuts back to the Dionysus/Yarmouth brawl. Yarmouth is still in control by the looks of it: Dionysus is on his knees outside the ring and Yarmouth is delivering some hard punches to the head; there is a trickle of blood coming from Dionysus’ hairline to indicate how much he has been dominated so far. Yarmouth lifts Dionysus to his feet and belly to belly suplexes him against the crowd barrier. Yarmouth is not finished yet: he grabs Dionysus again and whips him with such ferocity into the ring steps that they are completed dislodged, leaving Dionysus a limp mess amongst the metal. Yarmouth throws out a taunt to the fans which is interrupted by Warren Peace who cracks Yarmouth across the back with a chair. Yarmouth gives it the big no-sell and turns around; Peace sells huge shock before he swings the chair, cracking Yarmouth on the head. This one staggers the big man, and Peace wastes no time delivering a third and sick-sounding chair shot that drops the big man completely. Dad comes into view and tries to take revenge on behalf of his son by Warren Peace gives him short shrift and floors with a sickening chair shot.
Warren Peace once again makes a bid for the belts and he is soon joined by Dionysus on the same pillar of the scaffolding. They begin to scuffle and a stiff right hook by Dionysus gives Peace the wobbles, but he just about manages to climb on with one hand and spin around so that he is standing on the turnbuckle for support. Rodell climbs quickly to a similar height, but standing on the top rope for support, and begins to scuffle with Warren Peace. Yarmouth joins in the action and grabs Dionysus’ foot before he can climb any higher. Dionysus jumps down from the scaffolding and connects with an elbow to the back of Yarmouth’s head. The camera cuts back again to Peace and Rodell just as Rodell grabs Peace by the head and connects with a sitout facebuster from the top rope.
Dionysus lifts Yarmouth and slams his head onto the ring apron a couple of times, then turns him around and unloads several punches to the body. With Yarmouth a bit dazed Dionysus looks for a running knee but Yarmouth sticks out a leg and gets the boot to the face reversal, which is followed up by slamming Dionysus face first into the scaffolding. Yarmouth considers the climb but Rodell is flying at him with a top rope springboard shooting star press. The crowd pops but Rodell doesn’t land the move because Yarmouth catches him across his body and then slams Rodell into the mats outside the ring in a powerslam variation. There some boos for Yarmouth and he tells some vocal fans in the front row to shut up. Yarmouth starts to climb the scaffolding and gets as far as the cable which is starts to shimming across like an uncertain kid in gym class. Yarmouth’s progress is slow and Warren Peace has time to climb to the top turnbuckle. Peace takes aim and connects with a dropkick to the back of Yarmouth which ends his bid for the title. Yarmouth hits the mat hard face first, Peace gives himself a couple of seconds to recuperate.
Harvey: It’s all or nothing in this match – every single one of these competitors is putting life and limb on the line to try and win the gold.
Peace gets to his feet and pulls up Yarmouth and controls him with a hammerlock. Peace switches the hold to a reverse face lock and looks set to land a reverse DDT, as this is happening Rodell slides back into the ring, springboards from the top rope with a Quebrada style flip but lands on his feet behind Peace, putting Peace into a reverse face lock and planting him with a reverse DDT, which also means Yarmouth takes a reverse DDT from Peace. The crowd are loving it.
Harvey: Double reverse DDT – what innovation by Zachary Rodell.
Rodell is really pumped now and he climbs to the top turnbuckle. There is a chance to go for the belt, but Rodell just cannot help himself as the adrenaline starts pumping: he leaps off looking for his Dubstep Drop 720 splash onto Peace but the latter gets his knees up and the damage is taken Rodell for his folly. Rodell clutches at his torso, Peace rolls out of the ring to catch his breath.
Harvey: Is that a turning point in this match? Rodell wasting a great opportunity to go after the belts.
Chase: And yet another example of why many people consider Warren Peace to be the no. 1 rising star in APW.
Outside the ring Warren Peace starts throwing various objects into the ring, these include several steel chairs, a trash can, a trash can lid and a table. As he is about to climb back in though Dionysus, spins Peace around and floors him with an arm lariat; Dionysus follows this up with ten mounted punches before he leaves Peace outside and gets into the ring. Rodell is getting to his feet, Dionysus puts him into a hammerlock. Dionysus manipulates Rodell into position for a back drop backbreaker, but on the lift Yarmouth surprises Dionysus with a huge spear, Rodell rolls away to safety. Yarmouth gets to his feet, Rodell looks to attack but Yarmouth wraps a hand around Rodell’s throat, lifts him high into the air and slams him with a powerful choke slam. Yarmouth looks around for Peace but is surprised by him: Peace comes from the side with a steel chair and slams it into the gut of Yarmouth and he drops to his knees. Peace grabs the trash can and puts it over the head over Yarmouth and pushes it down his body so that he is trapped inside.
Harvey: Yarmouth has found himself in a bit of a pickle here.
Chase: I’ve heard the phrase ‘taking out the trash’, but this is being taken quite literal here.
With Yarmouth a sitting duck Warren Peace grabs a steel chair and unloads a barrage of chair shots to the trash can and through this to Yarmouth. Dionysus gets to his feet, grabs a chair and joins in the assault on Yarmouth; alternating chair shots with Warren Peace. Eventually Yarmouth drops into a laying position, and as he does so Rodell gets to his feet and climbs to the top rope. There is a great sense of anticipation as Rodell lets fly and connects with the Dubstep Drop (720 splash) onto the trash can-covered Yarmouth. There is another mad pop from the crowd in appreciation of Rodell’s high risk, high-octane, high-flying style.
The move has taken its toll on Rodell too and he remains down. Peace tries to attack Dionysus with the chair but gets reversed with a high angle spinebuster followed by a barrage of mounted punches. Dionysus lifts Peace and whips him against the ropes looking for the Event Horizon, but Peace grabs onto the ropes to save his skin. Dionysus moves towards him and Peace responds with an agricultural kick to the groin area. Peace grabs the bent over Dionysus in a front headlock and plants him face first onto a steel chair with a DDT.
Peace decides to try and clean house before climbing for the belts. He starts with Rodell and lifts him to his feet, but before Peace can throw Rodell over the top rope the latter pushes the former off. Rodell tries a middle kick. Peace blocks by grabbing Rodell’s foot, but the high flyer responds with a dragon screw kick that knocks Peace off his feet so that he lands with his head and hands sprawled over the bottom rope facing the crowd. Rodell grabs the trash can lid and rolls out of the ring. He plays to crowd before he starts pounding away at Peace’s head viciously with the trash can lid. The crowd count the shots and Rodell ends the assault with a huge flourish on the tenth. Rodell slides back into the ring and grabs the table which he leans against the turnbuckle. He turns around but has no chance to react as Yarmouth comes from nowhere and spears Rodell through the table. Another huge pop. Yarmouth rolls out of the ring clutching his shoulder; Rodell is left motionless amongst a thousand pieces of broken wood.
Harvey: YARMOUTH MAY HAVE JUST BROKEN RODELL RIGHT IN TWO!
Chase: I’m not sure who came out worse from that one...Rodell or the table?
With Rodell and Yarmouth down Dionysus and Peace start climbing the scaffolding at opposite corners. When they both reach the cables running across the ring Yarmouth begins to climb from the outside, Rodell also begins to slowly stir from the wreckage of the table. Peace and Dionysus finally meet in the middle, the Xtreme Championship belt dangling invitingly between them. There is the usual trade-off of punches between the two while trying maintain their precarious grip on the cable. All the while Yarmouth is inching ever closer; Rodell is using the ropes to get to his feet. The crowd are going ballistic such is their excitement and the intensity of the moment. Peace makes a grab for the title but Dionysus kicks out his legs and prevents him from doing so. Yarmouth is now just a few shimmy movements away. Rodell is gathering himself, some plan formulating in his mind. Dionysus tries to grab the title, Yarmouth is now just a foot or so away, Peace throws out a hand and pokes Dionysus in the eye. One of Dionysus’s hands slip and it looks like he is going to fall, but he hangs on by his finger tips. Yarmouth extends his arm towards the belt but he is stopped by something tugging at his legs – it’s Zachary Rodell. Peace moves again and gets a good hand around the belt but Dionysus kicks him in the face and Peace is hanging on by his fingertips. The crowd reaction is knocked up another notch as all four men tussle for the title belt. Peace, just about clinging on, reaches in his tights with a free hand and pulls something out of them.
Harvey: Peace has just pulled something out of his tights....what is that?
Chase: It’s...it’s...IT’S A PAIR OF HANDCUFFS!
Peace attaches one of the cuffs to the wrist of his hand that is hanging onto the cable and attaches the other to the cable – Warren Peace is just inches from the title belt and there is nothing anyone can do to get him off the cable!
Harvey: I think Warren Peace has just handcuffed himself to those cables.
Chase: The man is a genius!
Zachary Rodell starts climbing up Yarmouth in the manner of someone climbing a rope. Yarmouth is having to use all of his strength just to cling on, but the extra 200lbs of Rodell pulling him down is not helping – Yarmouth needs to shake off Rodell. Dionysus and Peace continue their tussle. Peace has his legs wrapped around Dionysus torso which restricts the latter’s movements, and with one of his arms cuffed to the cable there is less energy required for Peace to hold on, so he tries to free the belt. Rodell has also wrapped his legs around Yarmouth’s body and is punching him repeatedly in the face; Yarmouth is doing all he can to hold on. Rodell starts to work on the arms of Yarmouth, tugging at them. Peace loosens the title belt, but his progress his halted by a headbutt from Dionysus. Yarmouth decides to bite the bullet, releases his hold on the cables and positions himself in midair so that Rodell is given a variation of a sitout powerbomb upon impact from the 15 foot fall. The crowd goes orgasmic at the spot.
Harvey: HELACIOUS! POWERBOMB FROM THE CABLES!
Chase: So long and good night Zach Rodell.
Rodell is gone, probably TKOed after that move by Yarmouth. Peace and Dionysus continue their struggle, Peace loses his grip and he is now hanging on to the cable by the handcuffs attaching his arm to the cable; the pain shooting through his shoulder joint is excruciating. Dionysus works the belt a little looser, it is almost unattached, there is just one clip left to unhook, Yarmouth is up and grabs Dionysus trying to pull him down. Dionysus loses his hold on the cable, but the belt is keeping him up there, the final clip comes loose and Dionysus plummets down, but he’s still in the air! Warren Peace has grabbed the title in mid air, but Dionysus still has a hold of it too. Yarmouth is down on the mat. The struggle between Peace and Dionysus continues, the weight of Dionysus and the force of gravity pulling at Peace’s shoulder joint. In a great acrobatic feat Dionysus throws his leg up and connects with a Pele style kick to the face of Peace, who lets his hold on the title; Dionysus hits the mat with the belt in his possession.
Winner and new APW Xtreme Champion: John Dionysus Harvey: What a match, and what a win for John Dionysus!Dionysus’ music hits and he is announced as the new champion. He gets to his knees and holds the title aloft, Warren Peace still hanging above him. The crowd are giving all four men the reaction they deserve after such a gruelling battle. A team of stagehands blood the ring to help down Warren Peace as we cut to a replay of those final decisive moments. After this and a little summing up from the commentators we cut back to a shot of John Dionysus celebrating, followed by the disappointed looks of his beaten opponents.

"Got The Life" fills the arena as a shadow appears up in the rafters as the crowd are in an uproar. Chants of "The Grave Stalker" & "You Need Help!!!" are split amongst the capacity crowd. Donovan Caine stretches out gripping a black rope sliding down from the Rafters into the Squared Circle. He's wielding a Steel Black Bat pointing it around the Arena at various fans smiling sickly. He then takes off his black trench coat, gives it to the referee and tosses the bat to the outside. Caine's cold dead eyes are well placed upon the entrance ramp. Before he can properly smoke fills the arena especially the ring. It's a bitter fog and finally he's announced.... Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first: he was born in A Shallow Grave; weighing in at 210 pounds; he is "The King Of The Dead" DONOVAN CAINE! Donovan Caine laughs, letting out a high pitch screech making the announcer run off before awaiting the match to begin. Paige: And his opponent From Calgary, Alberta Canada and weighing in at 210 pounds…. CHRIS HARTThe lights in the arena are down as the opening beat of Cinema hit’s the dark arena as Chris Hart emerges from the back with pink laser lights flashing all around the arena. The pulsing beat and laser lights show continue as he walks down the ring and slides into the ring. Going to the far corner, Chris climbs the turnbuckle and throws one arm up in the air and looks out at the cheering crowd. Chris flips off the rope and stares down his opponent, waiting for the bell to start the match. Singles Match Donovan Caine vs. Chris Hart Donovan Caine and Chris Hart stare each other down as they approach in the middle of the ring as the Ref signals for the bell. Instantly, the two lock up and Donovan is quick to lock Chris in a headlock. But Chris backs into the ropes and pushes Donovan off of him and into the other ropes. Chris is right there with a charging cross body block as Donovan rebounds. He hooks the leg for a quick cover. 1 . . . KICKOUT Harvey: And Hart is quick out on the offensive, going for a cover in the opening moments of the match. Chase: But Caine is not going to go quietly as he’s no doubt imagining Chris Hart’s impending doom in his mind. Donovan is quick to his feat but is caught by a arm drag from Chris Hart. Chris delivers another and another as Donovan continues to advance on him. Caine pulls himself up to one knee and glares at a smiling Chris hart who begins clapping and is followed by the fans joining in. Donovan gets to his feet and calls for Chris to lock up with him again. Chris approaches but is caught off guard with a STIFF chop to the chest. Donovan follows it up with two more and backs Chris into the corner where he unleashes with two stiff elbows to the head then a fury of right hands that drop Chris into a seated position in the corner, but he doesn’t let off the punches and that causes the ref to step in with a count. 1 . . 2 . . 3 . . 4 Donovan charges heard at Chris and nails him with a knee to the side of the head and Chris lumps to the ground like a wet sack and the crowd is giving Caine an earful now. Donovan stomps the hell out of Hart, not letting up and even using the ropes for more leverage and to keep his balance. But the ref comes over and forces him to back off. Donovan just smiles as he pulls on Hart’s hair hard, jerking him to his feet. He hooks the head and arm and flips him with a snap suplex. But he holds on to Hart’s head and pulls him back up to his feet before SLAMMING HIM DOWN with a huge DDT. He rolls Hart over for the pin. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT! Chase: Looks like Hart isn’t the only one trying to end this thing quickly as Caine is now turning on the dominance and just ripping into his overmatched opponent. Caine pulls Chris Hart back to his feet, but gets a few elbows to the gut for his trouble. After three Elbows, Hart runs towards the ropes, but Caine reaches out and grabs his hair slamming him hard to the mat. Once again, the ref is there to let Caine know that if he steps out of line one more time that he will be disqualified. Caine just laughs and goes over to a rising Chris Hart. He charges and takes him off his feet with a shoulder block. Donovan waits as Chris rises again and runs at him with a massive Clothesline that nearly flips him over backwards. Donovan makes the quick cover again. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT! Harvey: I haven’t the slightest idea how Hart managed to kick out of that, but he sure as hell is showing a lot of heart out there….pardon the pun. Donovan pulls Chris up and gives him a hard kick to the gut doubling him over. Caine pulls his head between his legs and lifts him up for a Crucifix Powerbomb. But hart somehow manages to free his arm and rolls down behind Donovan rolling him up with a schoolboy. 1 . . . 2 . . . DONOVAN KICKS OUT! Donovan rushes at hart with a head of steam but Chris adjusts and takes him up and down with a flap jack, drilling Donovan face first into the mat. Both men are slow to get to their feet but Donovan rushes at Chris again only to have Chris duck under him and whip him into the turnbuckle. Donovan stumbles out as Chris rebounds off the ropes and takes him down with a single handed bulldog. Chris then springboards off the ropes landing across the chest of Donovan with a moonsault. He hooks the leg for the cover. 1 . . . 2 . . . SHOULDER UP! Harvey: This one was THAT close to being over. Chase: These two competitors are holding nothing back here folks, and neither is willing to give a single inch to the other. Chris now goes to work on Donovan delivering 5 elbow drops in quick succession before rebounding off the rope and hitting a twisting leg drop right across Caine’s neck. He pulls Donovan up again lifts him up on his shoulders and hooks his head with his arm and Drops him in the middle of the ring with the Schwein! Harvey: MY GOD! What a maneuver and Chris hart now signaling that it’s over! Chris pulls Donovan up to his feet, grabs his head and RUNS toward the turnbuckle going for the Hart Break! But Donovan pushes him off mid flip, and smiles thinking he just shoved him to the ground but Chris lands on his feet and as Donovan turns around, he hops on his shoulders and hits a hurricanrana. Sitting across donovan’s chest, he makes the cover. 1 . . . 2 . . . Donovan pulls his legs up over the arms of Chris Hart and manages to reverse the pin to where he’s sitting up and has Hart’s shoulders pinned to the mat with his legs. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT Chase: TWO near falls back to back and it’s easy to see that this one is far from over. Harvey: MUCH to the delight of these fans! Hart Charges at Donovan with a clothesline but Caine ducks it and follows quickly after Hart as he tackles him into the ropes and the two of them roll through and crash to the floor on the outside. The referee is there to make the count on them both. 1 Hart and Caine slowly get to their knees and find each other, firing rights and lefts back and forth. 2 Donovan gets the better of Hart and gets to his feet, still throwing stiff rights to a downed Chris Hart. 3 Chris battles back with forearm shots to the gut of Donovan and gets to his feet. 4 Hart ducks under a hard right by Donovan and pushes him from behind toward the steel ring post. But Donovan recognizes it and manages to pull out a drop toe hold sending Chris head first into the steal post. 5 Donovan gets to his feet and rolls into the ring, standing up and looking down as Chris struggles to come to his senses. 6 Chris rolls around clutching his head and the camera finally sees that he must have caught a rough patch on the steel post because blood is trickling down his face. 7 Chris crawls over to the baracade near the fans and reaches out, doing everything possible to get to his feet. 8 With one last burst of energy he uses his arms to pull himself to his feet and leans against the baracade. 9 Realizing that the ref is close to counting him out now, he runs and slides under the bottom rope and into the ring just in the nick of time. Harvey: WOW! Chris Hart narrowly avoids a count out defeat there just as the ref was about to say TEN. Chase: It may be a little premature to say he SAVED himself as Donovan is right there to continue the assult. Donovan Caine stomps the living hell out of Chris Hart before pulling him to his feet, flipping him over with a Snapmare and then hitting a hard dropkick to the back of Hart’s head. Caine hits him with some hard Jui Jitsu knees to the face and head before pulling him back up, whipping him into the ropes and catching him with a spinning back fist to the face, taking him down hard. He makes a quick cover. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT! He then pulls Chris back up and flings him face first into the corner. He lifts Hart up and sits him on top of the turnbuckle before climbing to the outside and climbing to the top himself. Chase: HERE WE GO HARVEY! Caine is going for the Fall From Grace and this match is OVER! Caine uses all his strength and manages to lift a struggling Chris Hart up to powerbomb position as he sets his feet to hop off. But Hart fights back with hard right hands to the forehead of Caine causing him to lose his grip a little. Hart capitalizes with a HUGE Hurricanrana off the Top Rope! And Caine lands hard in the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers loudly as Chris Hart struggles to crawl over to Caine. He falls as he places his arm over Donovan’s chest. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT! Harvey: UNBELIEVABLE! Somehow Donovan kicked out of that bone shattering move from the top rope, and Chris Hart can’t believe what he’s seen. Chase: These two are leaving everything out in that ring and they are exhausted doing it. Hart now sizes Caine up as he slowly gets to his feet. He rushes at him with a Busaiku Knee Kick but Caine manages to roll out of the way and Hart connects with the turnbuckle instead. Hart Limps a bit back to the middle of the ring where Donovan is waiting. He picks him up for the Six Feet Under, lets out a scream and then DROPS! Planting Hart head first into the mat. Chase: SIX FEET UNDER! Nobody Ever, EVER kicks out of that. Harvey: But Caine isn’t making the cover. Instead he is just staring down at Hart with an evil look on his face. What is he doing? Donovan Caine lifts Hart up on his shoulders and parades him around for all to see. He calls for another Six Feet Under, but Hart manages to roll out of it, grabbing the head of an unsuspecting Caine and running striat for the corner. He runs up the turnbuckle leaps and NAILS THE HART BREAK!!! He makes the cover. 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!! Winner: Chris Hart Paige: Winner of this Match, by pinfall…. CHRIS HART!!! Harvey: What a hard faught victory there by Chris Hart and he should be very proud of that one.Chase: Lets not forget about Donovan Caine who gave everything he could possibly muster out there and can walk away holding his head high. Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.Rainbow strobe lights flash wildly around the arena as 'Metro' suddenly blasts out of the speakers. Out of the curtain steps a young woman with a mango smoothie in hand. Walking beside her is a young blonde, her manager and friend Carrie Haute, and a red lizard is wrapped around Jen's shoulders, glaring around as Ryette casually throws her smoothie into the crowd and skips down the ramp to the ring. Paige: Introducing first, making her debut in APW, from Nikko, Japan, weighing in at 120lbs, JEEEEN RYYYETTE!Pyro shoots up at the end of the ramp, and Jen pounces forward, flipping herself into the ring. Hopping to her feet, Jen waves giddily at the crowd, before placing her lizard down, who then crawls to the corner and out of the ring, along with Carrie, before Jen then gets into a zenkutsu-dachi stance, awaiting the start of the match. Harvey: I’ve heard quite a few startling things about this woman over the past week, but as far as seeing what she can do in the ring, that will be something we’ll all witness soon enough.Chase: I think she’s kind of cute, albeit having a devious expression. And look at her manager’s outfit!Harvey: It is pretty revealing, I will admit that. However, you should probably focus on the upcoming match instead of evaluating her fashion sense. The rifts of “Baddest Bitch” create a steady beat as the spotlight centers on stage. The crowd stands in awe awaiting the arrival of Lisa Lyon. As the beat picks up, Lisa pushes through the curtains and onto the stage. The reaction from the crowd is mixed as Lisa points at four separate sections of the arena and screeches the words… “I'm The Baddest Bitch!” The beat slows as a local woman from the city of tonight's show struts out beside Lisa. They hook arms, and make their way towards the ring. Paige: And introducing her opponent, from St Paul, Minnesota, weighing in at 123lbs, LISA LORIANN LYYYOOON!Upon reaching the ring, Lisa slides underneath the bottom rope, as the local woman climbs to the ring apron. Lisa places both feet on the bottom rope and leans towards the crowd, while the local woman bends over. Lisa quickly smacks the woman's ass, receives a peck on the lips, then watches as the lady smiles and skips off towards the crowd. Meanwhile, Lisa makes her way over to the right corner as the chorus begins to pick up. Standing alone in front of the critical, judging and cruel… Lisa brushes both hands gently across her chest and methodically out towards the crowd. As the music begins to fade, Lisa motions for the crowd to “bring it” with her hands as she screams the final vows of her entrance. “I'm The Baddest Bitch!” Harvey: Now this woman ... wow. Lisa Loriann Lyon. There really is no way to describe this vixen.Chase: Vixen? I can list many ways that describe her personality. Let’s se...Harvey: Don’t start with that, otherwise we’ll be here all night. Let’s get right to the match.Jen Ryette vs Lisa Loriann Lyon
As the match begins, Lyon smirks callously towards Jen, who responds by smiling sweetly in her direction. The two eventually lock-up in the center of the ring, Lyon getting the upper hand quickly with a tight headlock. It isn’t long until Lyon switches the headlock into a hammerlock, but Jen is smart to this move as she reverses the hold with agility and tries to roll Lyon up with a rolling bridge. Lyon manages to get her shoulders up before the referee can even initiate his count, causing Jen to keep her concentrations on Lyon physically as she nails her with a few kicks in the midsection. These shots reel Lyon back to the ropes, Jen grabbing her arm and whipping her to the other side. Unfortunately, Lyon successfully avoids a Spinning Wheel Kick from Jen with a masterful duck, rebounding off the over ropes and executing a Swinging Neckbreaker on Jen upon the return.
Harvey: There’s that patented Swinging Neckbreaker from Lyon which brings Ryette down. No doubt she’ll focus on the neck area and try to keep Ryette grounded.
Chase: It is a smart move, as we’ve seen that Ryette has quickness and speed. But the way she’ll do this will demonstrate just how strong and vicious she is as a wrestler too.
After taking a slight rest, Lyon applies a grounded headlock on Jen, all before powering her up into a standing position again and delivering a bulldog. Lyon smiles briefly, believing she has Jen right where she wants her, stomping down on Jen to add insult to injury. But as Lyon attempts to bring Jen back up, Jen starts to chop away at Lyon’s chest, hitting a Savate Kick as soon as she stands back up and then executing a Dropkick. Lyon falls after the connection, Jen quickly running to the ropes and springing off them with a Shooting Star Senton Splash!
Harvey: Now that was impressive!
Chase: I don’t think I’ve seen a Shooting Star done from that position in recent memory!
Jen goes for the cover on Lyon.
1 . . . 2 . .
Lyon manages to kick-out before the count of three. Hardly disgruntled by this resilience, Jen proceeds to pull Lyon back up and drives her into the corner, ascending the ropes in front of her and raining blows into her opponent’s face. Lyon, withstanding the pain somewhat, breaks the pattern by slapping Jen across the face in retaliation and shoving her off the ropes, watching Jen land on her back. Jen springs back to her feet, but in the process she is forcefully driven back down by Lyon with a Clothesline From Hell. This gives Lyon time to stomp away on Jen some more, even jumping up and delivering a leg drop across Jen’s throat. She then goes for the cover.
1 . . . 2 . . . NO!
Jen kicks out and escapes being defeated.
Chase: That was a close call for Jen Ryette, in her debut no less!
Harvey: Do you think she realizes what she’s going to have to contend with here in APW?
Chase: She has to. There is no other way around it.
Lyon brings Jen back up, minimally frustrated by Jen’s endurance as she strikes Jen repeatedly with slaps and forearm shots. Jen tries to fight back with an uppercut, but this only causes Lyon to nail Jen with a high knee, followed by her Star STUDed. Lyon pulls Jen back to the ring and covers her again.
1 . . . 2 . . . NO!
Again Jen kicks out at the last moment! Looking on the verge of snapping, Lyon screams with aggression and recklessly pulls Jen back up by her hair, placing her into a Reverse DDT position. However, before the move can be executed, Jen twists out of it and leaps up with an Enziguri to Lyon’s head, bringing her down to one knee. Jen then backs up and charges forward with a Low Dropkick, continuing her momentum after this physical delivery and springing off the ropes again with her Corkscrew Moonsault. Jen then covers Lyon with a leg hooked.
1 . . . 2 . . . NO!
Lyon gets her shoulder up just in time. Looking flustered by this match, Jen exhales heavily before she consults Carrie for some inspiration, managing to smile slightly after witnessing her manager and going back to target Lyon. Lyon is back to her feet and delivers a kick to Jen, but it seems to take no affect as Jen rushes forward afterwards and clubs Lyon in the face with her elbow. After two Uppercuts, Jen unleashes her Lotus Kick, following on from this to mount the nearest turnbuckle and take down a dazed Lyon with her Double Dip!
Chase: Lyon is down as Ryette is on the verge of winning her Debut Match. Can she do it?
Jen, knowing the time is now, runs to the ropes to build up speed before she performs a handspring, turning this into a jumping Phoenix Splash and landing hard across Lyon, taking the wind and energy out of her system. Jen then covers Lyon once more as the referee counts.
1 . . . 2 . . 3!
Winner: Jen Ryette Jen springs up in celebration as Carrie enters the ring, hugging her compatriot and celebrating with her in the ring. Harvey: What a victory that was for Jen Ryette. She dominated near the end and withstood Lyon’s offense long enough to put her away.Chase: I bet Lyon will be aggravated about losing this match, which could spell trouble for her future opponents. But as for Ryette, she now has one solid victory on her resume, and with how she operated in that match, it will take quite a bit of patience and smartness to keep her down.Harvey: No doubt about it. Cindy Shannon is walking backstage looking around. After a few moments Johnny Knuckles comes limping out of the locker room with a single crutch in one hand. He heads towards the ring very slowly trying to keep the weight off his ankle but is stopped for an interview…….and he doesn’t look too happy. Cindy: Johnny a word please? That was an impressive showing at Survive and Conquer, your thoughts?Knuckles: My thoughts? At Survive and Conquer, the world saw lots of monumental things but nothing as monumental as the match itself. Ya’ saw Terry Marvin outlast the majority of the match, ya’ saw Rebel give his outright HILAROUS commentary, ya’ saw people from competitive organizations bring out their best and fail. 86 people entered and only one walked away….sorta’ with $500,000 and braggin’ rights. As you can see, it certainly wasn’t me.
What ya’ also saw was me beating the living hell out of competition that was supposed to put a guy like me in their place. It wasn’t Brad Jackson walking away half a mil’ richer…..it wasn’t Juan Ramirez or MDK leaving APW with their heads held high….it was the “Glorified Idiot” who made it to the next stage. Even APW’s own Keaton Saint, Level One couldn’t survive in such an environment. Johnny Rebel and Sally Talfourd couldn’t make the cut either
Not even our own Undisputed Champion CJ Gates could climb the mountain as high as I did. Terry Marvin, a man who started off at number two, couldn’t find the courage he did last year to finish the job. It was me, the guy nobody ever expected to go the distance; that made it all the way to the final four. I had my ankle broken in three places and I STILL continued to push forward. I had the CWC Champion Azrael Goeren laid out with a Donkey Punch……Alioth Starre, the man who broke said ankle and winner of the match in the later, OUT COLD from a Broken Promise!!
If it wasn’t for Azrael Goeren sticking his fucking nose in my business, it would have been me moving on to win the match, NOT ALIOTH STARRE! No, that’s not sour grapes you jerky’s, that’s the damn truth. I put my body on the line and I sure as hell deserve something for my troubles. Cindy: I don’t think that’s quite how it works….Knuckles: I didn’t go out there for the fans, I didn’t do it for the money…..I did it because I am EVERYTHING I say I am and as the man who survived the Survive and Conquer match, all I want is what I worked hard for. The guys in charge know exactly what I am talking about…..gimme’ what I’ve earned!! Gimme’ what I deserve!! 82 guys in a match where only the strong survive, and I DID JUST THAT!! I beat out World Champions, I beat out former Survive and Conquer match winners, I conquered the best of the best, GIMME’ WHAT I WANT!!Cindy: Well what exactly is it that you want?Knuckles glares at her as he limps away slowly backstage and the crowd boo’s his attitude. Harvey: I don’t know exactly what Knuckles is talking about or is getting at but we need to take a commercial break. STAY TUNED FOR MORE OVERDRIVE!!The refereshing drink….

Sally Talfourd is backstage preparing for an interview which is unsuspectingly interrupted as gets knocked back into a brick wall; followed by a subsequent chair shot strategically placed above her head. The madman wielding the chair is Level-One who tosses the chair aside like trash as Sally Talford is left breathing heavily in shock. Sally Talfourd: What the hell are you doing!? Sarcastically, Level-One begins to wave his hands back and forth causing quite the scene in the hallway as the backstage staff look at him as if he lost his mind. Level-One: Oh, so NOW you notice me!? Thanks Sally! You know if I was to look back at the footage from survive and conquer I'd think that you didn't even know I existed! Here we were two weeks ago forging an alliance that amounted to absolutely nothing!Sally regains her posture as she pushes herself up off the brick wall and cross hers arms with a sly smile across her face. Sally Talfourd: Well, I understood it as a peace treaty of sorts. I didn't lay a single finger on you the hour and something minutes were both in the match together. Technically, I did exactly what I promised you I'd do.Level-One clinches his teeth in frustration. Sally Talfourd pulled one over on him and he couldn't stand it; at the same time in some weird way he respected it. Level-One: Well, I didn't even need your help anyways. If I wasn't so busy counting down the clock until the time you'd finally stab in the back like the conniving bitch all my fans know you are then I probably wouldn't have been eliminated in the first place!Sally nods her head back and forth. Sally Talfourd: You're just mad because I outlasted you again, aren't you?Level-One: Yeah, right. You really think I'm that petty?Sally Talfourd: Well, you just threatened with me a steel chair because you felt I wasn't ''paying'' you enough attention. Actions speak louder then words, Lester.Level-One scoffed. Level-One: You're right, they do. And last week showed me you have very little interest in working together... so I guess we'll go back to being at odds like old times!Sally Talfourd: Then so be it!Sally Talfourd put her hands on her hips as Level-One turned around and saw both Violet and Kia walking down the hallway. He eyed them closely as they in return had ignored them. As they walked by they did acknowledge Sally Talfourd by waving to her and smiling like a high school cheer leading squad would the ugly girl. Level-One: What you got some type of deal going on with the sindicate now!?Sally Talfourd rolled her eyes. Sally Talfourd: I told you, Lester. I don't have any interest of working with your best friends. Survive and Conquer proved that I needed no one but myself and if it wasn't for Knuckles, I'd probably be main-eventing Rasslemania...Level-One: Sorry, cupcake. That's my schtick.Sally stepped forward in protest. Sally Talfourd: No, Lester that's our schtick. See you around...Sally Talfourd turned her back on Level-One who picked up the now mangled steel chair. He takes a step forward then swings the steel chair... right into a camera man knocking him to the ground. The camera is pointed upright at the ceiling as Level-One stands over it arrogantly leaning into it's view. Level-One: You know, I never liked you.Paige: The following match-up is the CWC Ascension Round 1 Match-up! Whichever man is pinned in this match will not be moving on to Round 2! The lights in the arena shut off, as the opening rhythm to "I Will Not Bow" blasts through the speakers. After a few moments, out steps Kurt Noble, eliciting a huge cheer from the crowd! Noble raises his cane into the air, and begins to limp down to the ring. Upon reaching it, Noble leaves his cane on the outside, and slowly walks up the stairs to the ring. He enters the ring, and climbs up on the turnbuckle, posing with his fist in the air as the cameras go off. Noble moves off it, as the lights return to normal and the music dies down. Paige: Introducing first, weighing in at 255 pounds and hailing from Orlando, Florida…. Representing APW itself… Kurt Noble!Harvey: You can’t argue that Noble has a huge amount of momentum going into this match-up. After placing 3rd of out of 86 wrestlers, Noble definitely showed that he has the endurance to handle multiple man situations.Chase: You blind fool? He lost! I bet the cripple is still tired from the match! I mean, he’s walking to the ring with a damn cane!Harvey: …"Guilty By Association" begins blasting over the loud system. Paige: Approaching the ring, from San Francisco, California weighing in at 222 pounds, representing NEWera Wrestling….Outkast!Outkast makes his way out onto the stage and stares out into the crowd as they chant his name. He then points to the ring and begins making the descent. He high fives a few fans and walks up the stairs entering the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle, throws his arms in the air and then leaps back down waiting for the match to begin. Harvey: Despite failing to capture the tag team titles at Destiny, Outkast looked as fierce as ever. He definitely is the wild card of tonight’s match, and looks to add to NEW’s already strong showing!Chase: Why do you hype these people that lose? Next!"Righteous Man" by Slightly Stoopid plays through the speakers as Jacob Wright steps out. Paige: And finally, weighing in at 175 pounds and hailing from Madrid, Spain…representing Sin City Wrestling… Jacob Wright!Harvey: Alright, if you want to be a stickler, here’s a man with a win recently! Jacob Wright recently was crowned one of the winners of SC’s Jackpot Match!Chase: Yeah…but he’s an SCW guy! That basically negates it!Harvey: So you like no one in this match…great. Let’s just see it get started!CWC Round 1 Match Kurt Noble (APW) vs. Outkast (NEW) vs. Jacob Wright (SCW)
The bell ring, as each man eyes one another in their triangle. Outkast and Wright move towards one another…before both men turning, and laying into Kurt Noble! The crowd boos as they rain fists down on the APW wrestler, taking him down to his knees. Wright lifts up Noble, and delivers a swift kick to Noble’s knee. He grabs Noble by the arms and holds him for Outkast, who proceeds to blast Noble with a series of shin kicks to the side and stomach! Noble tries to kneel over in pain, and finally does as Wright releases him…but Outkast delivers a thunderous kick to Noble’s temple! He falls over, but doesn’t stay in the ring long as Wright tosses out Noble out of the ring to a tremendous amount of boos!
Harvey: Outkast and Wright have clearly made it known who they both want out of this match! It’s almost like Noble has to beat two men tonight in order to advance!
Chase: So you’re telling me that in thirty seconds, two guys managed to throw Kurt Noble out of the ring…when 80 odd guys couldn’t do it a week and a half ago? What is that nonsense?!
Noble plops down against the canvas, and Wright instantly turns to Outkast, leveling into him with some hard leg kicks. However, Outkast pushes against Wright’s chest, forcing him against the ropes. Outkast pushes the light Wright into the corner, but Wright reverses it at the last second, slamming Outkast’s back into it. Wright lays into Outkast with some ferocious kicks, and backs up for a corner splash. Wright rushes in…but Noble is in the ring, and hits Wright with a clothesline to send him down! Noble turns, and gets a running kick to the face from Outkast! Outkast lifts up Noble, and begins showing off some brawler skills on Noble, who cannot guard against it. Outkast backs up for a strong kick, but Noble ducks, and lays out Outkast with a German suplex! Wright is up, and goes for a clothesline, but Noble ducks, and holds onto Wright as he German suplexes him onto Outkast’s downed body! However, this forms a pin…
1 . . . 2 .
Noble pulls Wright off of Outkast!
Harvey: Close accidental fall there! Wright almost got a free pin on Outkast!
Chase: I may not be a fan of Kurt Noble’s…but letting SCW take the victory makes me feel more sick to the stomach than Noble does!
Noble hits hard hands on both men, and pulls Wright away to try and prevent another double team. Noble then turns to Outkast, who is back on his feet. Noble chops Outkast, and then turns to kick Wright back down. This strategy goes on for a few seconds, keeping both men at bay and Noble in control. However, he focuses a little too much on Wright, and when he turns back to Outkast, walks right into a kick and then a suplex! Outkast tries to pin Noble, but Wright kicks Outkast in the head! Outkast stands up, apparently unaffected by the kick, and stares at Wright with hellacious eyes. Wright looks stunned, and points down towards Noble, yelling “We both have to get him!” Outkast just stares at Wright as the crowd cheers…but turns back towards Noble….only to turn back and kick Wright in the stomach, and drill him with a DDT!
Outkast kicks down both men, keeping control of the match. Noble gets up first, but finds himself victim to a series of hard forearms by Outkast. Outkast Irish Whips Noble, but Noble holds onto the ropes upon hitting them. Outkast moves in, but Noble ducks, and sends Outkast to the floor below! Noble turns back, right into a Thez press from Wright! After some fists, Wright stands up, and drops a leg drop onto Noble’s bad knee! Outkast gets back on the apron, but Wright runs in and dropkicks him off! Wright turns back to Noble, but gets rolled into a small package!
1 . . . 2 . .
Kickout by Jacob Wright!
Harvey: Jacob Wright really is a wrestler’s wrestler. He’s been laying the pressure on Kurt Noble’s bad leg, and just stopped Outkast from being able to enter the ring. These men have all employed very unique strategies tonight to keep control of the match!
Chase: Unique strategy? He just almost got pinned!
Wright gets up, and instantly sweeps Noble back down with a kick to the knee! Wright then lifts up Noble , and runs against the ropes. He goes for a knee dropkick on Noble, but Noble hops to avoid it. However, the jump causes him to land awkwardly on his ankle, meaning Noble has no time to avoid a belly to belly suplex by Outkast! Wright rushes in, but gets one as well! Noble gets up, but gets swept up and dropped with a knee to the back! The move gets repeated on Wright, and Outkast poses in the middle of the ring, getting a very light cheer! Outkast then stands over Wright, and when he gets up, goes for Kastration (Spike Asai DDT), but Wright pushes Outkast back…right into positon for the Noble-Neckbreaker (Rolling Cutter)! However, Wright walks up and sneezes in Noble’s face!
Chase: He just SNEEZED in his face! What in the Hell is that?!
Harvey: I believe he calls it the “Atchoo”…and it may have just kept the match going!
Noble breaks the hold and covers his face, and Outkast turns and drops Noble with a clothesline! Outkast and Wright’s eyes meet for just a moment, and both men go back to hammering down on Noble! The crowd gives them a fierce boo, but neither man cares as they throw Noble to the canvas. Outkast motions that Wright better follow him, and Wright goofily shakes his head up and down with his tongue held out. They take turns beating on Noble, before lifting him high into the air…and dropping him straight on his knee! Noble rolls out of the ring, gripping his leg in pain…but Outkast and Wight go after him!
The two men pick up Noble, and throw him into the guard rail! Noble appears nearly out, having taken a huge amount of offense. Both men then lift up Noble for a suplex…and suplex him onto the guard rail! Noble falls into the crowd, getting a huge boo!
Harvey: Noble is out after that suplex onto that steel guard rail!
Chase: Hey, now he can join the fans in the front row that he seems to love so much!
Wright smiles…but Outlast turns and blasts him with a forearm! Outkast throws Wright back into the ring, and Wright stumbles before being drilled to the canvas with a bulldog! Outkast Irish Whips Wright, and levels him with a huge big boot to take him down! Outkast takes a moment to relax before throwing Wright into the corner, and demolishing him with European Uppercuts! However, Wright fights back with some goofy punches, but it’s not enough to throw the much larger Outkast off his game. Outkast moves Wright to the middle of the ring, and hits a snap suplex on him before going for the pin…
1 . . . 2 . .
Kickout by Jacob Wright!
Harvey: So close! Wright may be quick on his feet, but Outkast is clearly the stronger of the two. If he keeps up this powerful technical offense, Wright might not be advancing in the CWC Ascension Tournament. Remember, even if Wright takes the pinfall, both Outkast and Noble advance to the next round.
Chase: I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Noble looks half dead over there on the floor. Only thing he may be advancing to is the end of his career…
Noble has just started to stir as Outkast locks in a chokehold on Wright. Wright fights it, but he becomes overpowered by the bigger man. Wright looks to be out…but Noble is barely able to get in the ring, and fall on the submission to break it up! Outkast seems infuriated, and he lifts up Noble, slamming him with a wide arsenal of punches and kicks. Noble isn’t able to defend himself as Outkast Irish Whips him. Noble reverses it, and ducks an Outkast kick before nailing him with the Mark of Nobility (Inverted Olympic Slam)! Noble grins to himself as the crowd gets behind him! Noble then grabs Outkast, and locks in the Dance with the Devil (Sharpshooter)!!!
Harvey: The Dance with the Devil! Wright is still out, and Outkast has nowhere to go!
Chase: I have very conflicted feelings about this…I…I guess…get him Kurt!
Outkast goes crazy looking for the ropes, but they’re nowhere around! He raises his hand, and the match looks to be nearly over…but Wright moves over, puts his hands together, and drills Noble’s ass with the Thousand Years of Pain! Noble instantly drops the Sharpshooter, and turns angrily towards Wright! Wright grabs Noble, and goes for the Walls of Wonder (Cross Lying Armbar), but Noble spins out of it and drills Wright with the Noble-Neckbreaker! Noble makes the pin…
1 . . . 2 . . . 3-
Suddenly, Outkast breaks up the pin! He grabs Noble, and throws him out of the ring!
Harvey: What the Hell! Noble had the match won, but Outkast stopped him! Outkast would have advanced anyway!
Chase: It's all about the pride of the win!
Outkast grabs Wright, lifts him up, and drills him with the Banned In America (Package Piledriver)!!! Outkast pins Wright…
1 . . . 2 . . . 3!
Winner: Outkast Paige: Here is your winner, and moving on to the next round of the CWC Ascension Tournament…Outkast! Also moving on to the next round…Kurt Noble!Outkast celebrates his victory. Harvey: At least Kurt Noble is advancingChase: Thats right! With Outkast celebrating, Kurt is in the ring with him. Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the APW Overdrive championship!
The melody of "Cold War" by Janelle Monae signals the arrival of Keaton Saint, who makes his presence known as the song begins to pick up-tempo. Saint makes his way to the ring high-fiving some of the fans in the attendance before entering the ring and preparing himself for the match ahead. Paige: Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 248 pounds, hailing from London, England, he is “The Patron Saint of Professional Wrestling” KEATON SAINT!
The lights Dim down as the vocal introduction to the music is played. Blue and silver lights illuminate the entrance way and pyro goes off as soon as the Music kicks in. "The Real Show" Terry Marvin makes his way down the ramp jawing and messing with the fans all the way down. He rolls into the ring and poses on the turnbuckle, holding his arms out like the people should warship him. Paige: Our second competitor, weighing in at 245 pounds, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, he is “The Real Show” TERRY MARVIN!
"Bulls on Parade" by Rage against the Machine blasts out over the PA system; a few moments pass and Blade emerges from behind the curtain and stops on the top of the ramp. The fans begins to boo loudly as blade smirks and takes it all in. He begins to strut down towards the ring where he stops and points his finger out at his opponent. They step back and Blade uses the ropes to enter the ring. Paige: Our third competitor, weighing in at 246 pounds, hailing from Manchester, England, he is BLADE! #SIMPLY F'N PUT!
A recorded voice comes over the loudspeaker and "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple blasts over the PA. Johnny Rebel comes out in a gold robe shimmering in the lights. "SIMPLY PUT" is written in silver on the back. His blonde goatee is neatly trimmed and blonde hair is freshly cut; his eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. #IT'S TIME TO PRAY THE PRICE!
The crowd has come unglued in their hatred for Rebel. He gets to the ring and pulls a cameraman down to the ground and on all fours as Rebel uses him as a stepping-stone to get in the ring. He takes off his robe to reveal his gold tights and tasseled white boots. He poses on the second turnbuckle with both hands held high. Paige: Our final competitor, weighing in at 234 pounds, and hailing from Chicago, Illinois, he is the current APW Overdrive Champion, “Simply Put” JOHNNY REBEL!
APW Overdrive Championship Johnny Rebel © Vs Keaton Saint Vs Terry Marvin Vs Blade
All four men have reached the ring as Rebel and Blade have assembled in one corner with Saint and Marvin occupying their own on opposite ends of the squared circle. As soon as the bell rings, Rebel falls flat on his back as Blade hooks the leg.
1 . . 2 . . SAINT BREAKS UP THE PIN!
Harvey: What in the world?
Chase: What a brilliant strategy, Darren! Rebel tried to pass the Overdrive title on to Blade before Saint and Marvin could even get a lick in. It’s a shame that it didn’t work!
Harvey: Big surprise… Rebel’s trying to take the cowardly way out!
Rebel rolls out of the ring as Saint and Marvin double-team Blade on the inside of the ring. Saint whips Blade in the ropes as Marvin jumps ahead of him and tackles him with a Lou Thesz press. He begins pounding his fists in to the face of Blade as Saint waits for his opportunity to strike while Rebel props himself up on the announce table giving Darren Harvey a high-five. Sick of waiting around Saint runs in to the ropes and bounces off with a dropkick to the head of Marvin who had been mounted on Blade. “The Real Show” is sent sideways to the mat as Saint drops an elbow on Blade showing that he’s in complete control of the match. Marvin rolls to the outside and spots Rebel leaning over on an elbow on the announce table and immediately begins stalking him. Rebel catches wind and perks up waiting for Marvin to strike. Meanwhile, Saint has Blade up on his feet and whips him in the ropes but Blade has enough sense about him to reverse the Irish whip and as Saint returns, Blade locks in a sleeperhold. Rebel points at the action in the ring sheepishly and Marvin ends his pursuit on the champion and runs in the ring to make sure Blade doesn’t get Saint to submit while he’s on the outside.
Harvey: These are four of the top megastars in all of the APW, Johnny! Any of these four men could walk away with the Overdrive championship and it wouldn’t be a surprise!
Chase: The real champion has the right strategy here! Let the other three wear each other out and then Rebel will strike!
Harvey: That worked so well for him at Survive and Conquer, didn’t it?
Rebel reaches over and gives Johnny Chase a high-five while the action continues in the ring. Blade lets go of Saint seeing Marvin charge in the ring and ducks underneath a lariat attempt from “The Real Show” and follows it with a big boot to his temple. Blade waves over to Rebel as both men are down as Johnny slides back in the ring and allows Blade to apply a small package on him:
1 . . 2 . . SAINT BREAKS UP THE PIN AGAIN!
“Simply Put” smacks the mat in disgust as all four men get back to their feet. The Overdrive champion tries to leave the ring again but this time Keaton grabs him by the tights and pulls him back in the ring. He whips Rebel in to the corner turnbuckle and grabs an unsuspecting Blade by the arm and sends him in after Rebel causing the two to collide. Both Blade and Rebel are folded over one another in the corner as Saint finishes the triumvirate by running behind a stunned Marvin and slamming him by the back of the head in to the other two men. All three men slowly crumble to the ground as Saint has gained complete control of the match. Saint sizes up Rebel and drops a leg over his throat as Rebel rolls around the ring in pain eventually sneaking under the bottom rope. Saint’s focus on Rebel has allowed Blade and Marvin the time they need to get back up from the mat. Saint takes two steps towards the ropes and springs himself forward attempting a double clothesline on the two men, which connects on Blade but Marvin ducks and as Saint turns around he drives his foot in to the side of Keaton’s face with a superkick. Marvin drops an elbow on Blade to continue his onslaught and dives on him afterwards to go for the pin attempt…
1 . . 2 . . KICKOUT!
Marvin pops back up as Saint is using the leverage of the ropes to get up. “The Real Show” has the upper hand and tries to continue his momentum with a spinning backfist on Saint who ducks underneath but before he can take advantage Blade comes out of nowhere to level Keaton with a bicycle kick that sends him flying over the top rope and crashing down on the outside, joining Rebel, who has laying out the outside waiting for the right moment to get back up. Marvin runs over towards Blade but Blade reaches up and pokes him in the eye which causes Marvin to fold over, and as he does Blade grabs him by the waist and sends him flying over the top with a gutwrench suplex. Blade immediately reaches down and locks in a spinning toe-hold which puts the pressure on Marvin’s leg. The ref slides down right in Terry’s face to see if he’s ready to quit but Marvin still has a lot of fight left in him. He uses his other leg to shove Blade away as the two get back up. Blade’s fist meets Marvin’s face and leans against him to send him flying in to the cables as Blade winds up for a jumping knee to the face but Marvin shows tremendous agility by rolling away from it. “The Real Show” sticks his boot in Blade’s stomach and spins him over with a rolling neck breaker.
Harvey: Great adjustment by Marvin there to avoid Blade’s knee!
Chase: I’m concerned about Rebel! He’s been down an awfully long time over there…
Saint has found his way back to the ring as Rebel finally decides to get off his back seeing that Blade is down on the mat. All four are back in the ring as Saint clocks Rebel immediately and tackles him down to the mat to continue his assault. Marvin has Blade in the corner and uses his shoulder to pound in the midsection of the former tag-champion. Saint whips Rebel in the ropes and dropkicks him in the knee as he comes around. Rebel crashes to the mat while he clutches his leg as Saint walks over to help Marvin on his assault of Blade. The two put Blade’s arms over their heads and left him up to the top rope. Both Saint and Marvin carefully climb the turnbuckles together and while having Blade grasped they help him up to his feet as the fans get up off their feet in anticipation of the big maneuver. The two fling themselves backwards sending Blade over their heads with a giant superplex that cause both Blade and the downed Rebel to bounce a few inches off the mat. All four men are down in the ring as the fans erupt in approval.
Harvey: Good grief! I think Blade might be dead!
Marvin drapes an arm over Blade as the referee jumps over the pile and begins his count…
1 . . 2 . . From his knees, Rebel lunges to break up the pin.
Chase: I think Rebel sensed he was about a second away from losing his Overdrive championship!
Saint comes to his senses as Rebel slowly makes his way up by way of the ropes but as soon as he tries to test out that injured knee, Saint comes flying in with a nasty spear. Saint is up immediately and running towards the ropes leaps off the second offering with a twisting cross body and follows through by hooking the leg:
1 . . 2 . . KICKOUT!
Marvin tries to stand as Saint follows his assault on Rebel with one of his own against the “Real Show” and lays him out with a shining wizard. Marvin eats the move with his head and falls backwards through the ropes but lands on the apron. Blade has slowly made it to his knees as Saint drapes an arm over and powers him up for a staggered suplex but Blade continues over the top and from behind pushes him towards the ropes using the momentum to carry themselves backwards for an easy roll-up but Saint holds on to the ropes and sends Blade to roll over. Saint goes charging at Blade but is planted with a strong clothesline from Blade instead. He bounces back up but still not quite sure where he is until Blade comes running at him and grabs him by the hips slinging him over the top with a spinebuster. Blade goes for the pin…
1 . . 2 . . 3rNO! Huge kickout from Saint.
Harvey: Wow! That was almost the end of the match right there, Johnny!
Chase: Rebel better snap out of it quickly, he doesn’t have to be pinned in order to lose the championship and he almost lost it there!
Blade isn’t quite sure what else he’s got to do to keep Saint down but continues with the upper hand in the match. Blade begins his descent to the downed Saint but is caught off guard with a Marvin dropkick to the back of the head that sends Blade forward with the impact and slams down on the mat. Marvin pops back up and spends some time taunting the crowd and proud of his blindside but is caught with a forearm to the side of the head by a recovered Rebel. Marvin is down on both knees as Rebel follows his latest attack with a stiff kick to the chest that causes Marvin to go down all on fours. Rebel leaps off and uses his leg to drive Marvin’s face in to the mat with a Rocker-dropper. The Overdrive champion rolls Marvin over and drags Blade over for the pin:
1 . . 2 . . MARVIN KICKS OUT!
Rebel grabs the referee in disgust and shoves him in the corner while scolding him for a slow count. Meanwhile, C.J Gates comes running down the entrance ramp and clocks Rebel with a huge right hand that not only causes Rebel to release his grip from the referee but also sends him stumbling backwards. Blade takes advantage of the situation and uses Rebel’s momentum to sling him backwards with a school boy as the referee flies over and makes the count:
1 . . 2 . . “THE REAL SHOW” BREAKS UP THE PIN.
Rebel dips out of the ring to immediately chase after the Undisputed Champion on the outside. The two begin brawling on the outside as Gates takes him over the guardrail with a huge clothesline and the two quickly disappear in a sea of people. Terry Marvin and Blade have engaged in a shoving match, as Saint is back up to join in. All three men are exhausted and are being overly cautious to make a move in an effort to not mess up and be the one to lose the match. Saint goes after Marvin as Blade steps in and levels him with an elbow to the temple, which sends Keaton flailing. Marvin immeiately clinches Blade from behind with the “You’re Cancelled” (Russian Leg Sweep/Inverted DDT combo) and drives Blade headfirst in to the mat. He pins Blade in a push-up position as the referee slides over to make the count…
1 . . 2 . . 3!
Winner and new APW Overdrive Champion: Terry Marvin Paige: Your winner and NEW APW Overdrive Champion by pinfall… “THE REAL SHOW” Terry Marvin! Harvey: What an incredible match and we have a brand new Overdrive champion! Chase: The real question is... what happened to Gates and Rebel? They might be brawling until RassleMania! Harvey: I hope not... Gates is scheduled to compete in the Ascension qualifier next! Stay tuned!
