Now being from the UK I am a massive soccer fan but as we brits call it football.
There's two derby today first of is the Premier League derby in Arsenal v Spurs and then there's the League one Derby my team Sheffield united v Sheffield Wednesday, Now imo the Sheffield derby is just as big as the London derby but it hardly gets mentioned because we are in League one, Its not even on the telly which is an out rage.
The football will be more exciting than the London derby and probably more goals in too, So why have they not put this game on the TV?
May be cos were not high profile teams and only Sheffield people will be interested in it who knows but I would have loved to seen this one on the TV when we were both in the premier League this game was all ways on sky tv but not any more.
But saying that there is the League cup final on TV today as well so may be that's another reason for them not to put the match on TV so why not move it to Monday night or even have it on the Saturday in a lunch time kick off.
Have any of you guy's seen the Sheffield Derby or would you be more interested in the London Derby or the League cup final?
Or what do you think of English football in general, Do you like it or think its not for you?

I'm a Cardiff fan so I've no interest today in any football but the Carling Cup Final.
You're right though about the lack of coverage given to football outside the Premier League, but the EPL is where ALL the money is so its no surprise this product is over-hyped and over-exposed by media organisations.

Screw Sheffield, Arsenal, Tottenham and the Carling Cup Final. Both of them are just minor side attractions to today's real main event.
Stoke City are 2-0 up against Swansea, that's the real highlight of today's football. MON THE POTTERS!

Absolutely God awful. I wouldn't watch Stoke if you paid me to. But you did beat the Jacks today, so that's something.

Gutted for Cardiff, fitting that a Gerrard decided the game though. The keeper for Cardiff is GREAT though and I hope Cardiff get promoted since the football they played today was quality.
Stoke have Ryan Shawcross, so that is an automatic point for scumbag status.
Meanwhile all I have to say today is 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2 5-2!!!!!
Watch as Arsenal screw up the momentum from this in later weeks.

Cardiff far exceeded my expectations today, that was genuinely one of the best performances I've seen from City in twenty years supporting them. I'm gutted I couldn't be there today, especially as I've been lucky to see Cardiff at Wembley three times in recent years, but this was by far our best Wembley performance. Penalties are cruel, but I'm actually more pleased than I am disconsolate after today. Yesterday's rugby win at Twickers helps though

If I had a second team it would be them, I have nothing but admiration for Wenger. They deserve more success than they've had in recent seasons.

No. Despite being born and raised in the Liverpool area I am a Stoke fan. Tony Puliss is doing a great job of turning his rag-tag bunch of overpaid rejects into a goal scoring match winning (I can't say goal scoring, not with our deficit) machine. It was only a few years ago we were back in championship. Now we're in a four team tie for like, eighth place.

I should support Swansea really, but I support Blackburn Rovers (and now Swansea 'cause I've jumped on the bandwagon lol).
That being said, I don't really watch football, and don't care either way to be honest.
I want Swansea to stay up, and for Cardiff to get promoted. I'm gutted for Cardiff today, but hopefuly they can get to the Premier instead, which would be better for the financialy, and better for Wales in general.
I hate all the bullshit Cardiff vs Swansea fighting that goes on. You want to fight, join the army
