I thought it was really good for a post Rasslemania show. There wasn't any kind of "letdown" or anything like there normally would be coming off a big show.
The match quality was pretty good and the segments were boss.
I love the new Syndicate stuff....really really alot.
I loved J-Reb's seg and the CJ/Noble stuff as well.
A really really solid show.

- I really enjoyed the run down by the commentators at the beginning of the show. Maybe I don't read well enough to notice this every week but if this was a new edition than kudos to whoever put it together! I don't know if it was part of Kurt's promo or Jeff's opening but it set the show up perfectly.
- I always love Kurt's stuff but I think we're about to see a whole new level. Over-the-top Undisputed champion Noble has a little swag to him that he didn't have before. I enjoyed the promo quite a bit: it was different than your traditional rah-rah celebration. Keeping the Mayhem challenger a mystery was a nice touch. Why do I feel like Noble always writes my own character better than I do?
- I love when new talent shows a little initiative and throws themselves in to the thick of things on Overdrive. A.C. Smith jumps in to the fray, even sending the women-folk in to a tizzy! Eat your heart out, Chris Hart!
- Delikado is weird. But... I kinda like it. I called that one! Officially 1-0 in the predictions league!
- Good win for Blade. It wasn't an accident that Blade had a chance at the Undisputed championship. Pete is one heckuva RP'er and had just as much a shot as any of the three. Glad he's continuing his run here with a big win over Peace; and then tops it off with the ole' switcharoo "I'll help you up" and drop you on your head routine. Do I smell a Peace/Blade feud shortly? Whoever wrote that match gets a gold star for the evening: that was really well done.
- Level-One came off as extra cocky during his in-ring. I think his feud with Sally has really pushed him to develop a few new layers of the L1 character and it's working, IMO!
- Up next we have another great segment from Johnny D. He's well on his way to being a force around here and easily could be a Undisputed challenger before long. Harris interrupts and then he is interrupted by Hart. I could get behind a Dionysus, Harris and Hart three-way feud. I LOL'ed at the "...then that puts you in Old Man Frank Cannon territory" line.
- I should have known that someone was ease-dropping on me!
- I'm glad to see Kurt and Gates back on the same page again. It's almost got a "super-powers" feel to it; with Noble absolutely being Hogan with both of them needing canes. I've been looking forward to seeing a Gates/Noble title match since the moment Noble declared he was coming to the APW.
- Kudos to Pence this week. It's always a pleasure to be matched up against you!
- Oh man, Rebel slipped up for the first time since being on APW TV and uttered the "B" word. Sorry, censors! I've been wondering why ADR's dopplegangher has been giving me the googily eyes lately. I think Rebel is going to pay for drawing the crimson out of L1...
- Holy Delikado batman. It felt like the "Gay Pride" parade exploded on my computer screen with that much pink and purple without Sally anywhere to be found. The whole thing was a little long winded for me and I found myself skipping through at points.
- Gates vs. Saints is a dream match that Jeff gave the fans for free on Overdrive! Wow! Gates picks up a huge win and some steam headed to Mayhem.
- A tag-team feud? That hasn't happened since Organized Violence laid down for the Red Shield Mafia. Oops, was that not how it went? I don't know anything about Slade or Shadow but Jeff doesn't put you in the APW HOF for no reason. Looking forward to seeing what they cook up with Biggs and the Studs.
- If I'm reading this correctly, I'm guessing Pence is on the way out and making way for a new beginning with Nick Watson, who apparently speaks Spanish.
That's as far as I've got before I'm falling asleep. Will finish tomorrow!

Liked the show a lot. In particular, I dug the Blade-Warren Peace match, and Level-One's promo was really well-done. That said, the show was jam-packed with a lot of solid stuff; good job all around.

I'll get to this, and a lot of other feedback (on RPs and the like) over the weekend. I've got an essay that just doesn't want to be written staring me in the face.

Was a good show. For the first show of the year (sort of) I think that it delivered with what was expected. A few feuds were furthers on this show, some were started, and over everything else, everyone put forth a good effort on the RP front. A few things that stood out to me...
-Rebel. I'm liking where he's going. Always enjoyed reading the character, and am interested to see what he's going to do now.
-Tag Team Feud. Rebel mentioned it, and I'll repeat it. It's always great to see the tag team division doing something like this to help keep those titles relevant. Tag team wrestling is always great in e-feds, just need the teams to support it and with a lot of our teams having been in and out of APW, there hasn't been enough to build it. Hopefully the AKA/Studmuffins stuff can help rebuild the division.
-AC Smith. MAYBE it's just me, but without knowing much of the AC Smith character until this episode, I couldn't get as excited as the commentators were. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to what he can bring to the table, but I'd figure the debut hype could be built to the point where the fans and commentators are excited.
-I found the Delikado/Hart segment to be a bit longer then it probably needed to be, but that just might be me and not an actually big deal.
-Great match writing, once more. Always seem to deliver and make the matches something special to read. So kudos to all of the writers.
With all the feuds already building up to Mayhem, it will be a fun few weeks as everything comes together. Congratulations to all of the winners, they are definitely well earned victories.

Opening segment – I think the tone of this piece was about right. Noble/Rebel is always good interaction, although a hint of a new side to Noble came out in this. I agree that the suspense of not announcing the #1 contender was good.
A.C. segment – It was okay and I’m all for new guys getting stuck in. However, that’s a lot of hype to give yourself, I hope you don’t disappoint. Good luck in APW. One thing that did strike me was the placing of this segment because I thought it got a bit lost after such a strong start by Noble/Rebel and may have had more impact after the first match. Just a thought.
Delikado match – I thought was okay as an opening match. Haven’t had a chance to read any roleplays this week so I don’t even know who did or didn’t roleplay. Some nice high tempo action and about the right sort of length for this kind of match with three debutants.
Blade/Peace – I wrote this one over a week ago and when I read it through again I was pleasantly surprised at how well it came out. I like it when I manage to write a match that tells a solid story, so I hope that came through to everyone and especially Blade/Peace (two characters I like and respect)
L1/Syndicate – Everything L1 does grabs your attention and he makes a big deal even if he isn’t necessarily in the main event picture. It says a lot about the star quality of this character. I do like this Syndicate stuff because it feels like a threat with a substance and I love the well-defined cartoon villains L1 has created, it gives us something to clearly tap into and love to hate. There were some brilliant little touches in this like the t-shirt and the mic. Glad to have L1 back on a full-time schedule.
Dionysus/Harris/Hart – Harris & Hart are very talented; either or both will put my reign in serious jeopardy. I thought the segment came through quite well, nice to work with both guys on this.
Yarmouth/Assassin – I guess this is a solid debut(?) win for Assassin. Decent match and the finish certainly made Assassin look strong.
LeWinter/Rebel – this was a nice combination of two segments about two different storylines....maybe there is a connection? I would certainly like to see more segments like this that transition seamlessly from one thought to another.
Noble/Gates – lovely storytelling, with plenty of Noble’s loved ‘showing’. I finished this segment and just couldn’t wait to see what would happen next in this relationship. It was pitched brilliantly with plenty of subtext and subtle undertones. Was Noble being patronising here or was he being genuine? Does Gates really want another match against Noble? Does Gates believe he can beat Noble? Is there some new found arrogance and swagger about Noble? Great stuff!
Rebel/Pence – in days gone by this could have been a PPV main event. In many feds it would be. Nowadays APW is giving it away for free. Incredible! Nicely written, good Rebel whinge at the end. No heel is more over in APW than Rebel is right now.
Rebel/Syndicate – oh, here is the connection. I wasn’t really sure what to think after this segment – there seemed to be some kind of mini swerve by Rebel. I guess the only thing to do is stay tuned and find out.
Delikado/Hart – Is Delikado going to mindfuck his way to the Undisputed Title? I love this character. Great segment, well done to both you guys, or whoever put it together.
Gates/Saint – this could realistically be the final of Ascension 2012 and APW is giving it away for free. It says everything you need to know about APW Awesomeness right now. It was a PPV quality write-up too. Excellent!
Tag Team – Instantly the Biggs factor has given this little duel a real x-factor. I’m a big fan of Biggs and a big fan of THE STUDS so I can’t wait to see what unfolds here.
Xtreme match – there was so much action in this match and it wouldn’t have been out of place on a PPV card. Harris v Dionysus again, I think there was always a bit more to give with this feud so I’m not disappointed with the outcome.
Main event – Another good match that showcased everyone’s abilities and had plenty of big spots. The finish was well done too and definitely gives me something to work in a RP.
Post-match – At first I didn’t really like the post-match, it felt a bit flat after such a high octane main event, but when I thought about it a bit more I really got what you guys are trying to do, and I am pleased to see the continuation of this story. The trade-off at the end was well done and already hints at the tension between these two ‘friends’.
Overall a very good post-Rasslemania show that has ‘booked’ two Mayhem matches, and hinted at a further three (at least). Well done to all involved.

Pretty much everything I wanted to say has been said, so I'm going to make one main point that relates to Mayhem. I like that this show really set the stage for the 'unusual' set-ups we're going to see at Mayhem. Basically, it's looking like we're not going to see a whole lot of 'traditional' archetypes for matches. Noble/Gates, L1/Rebel, AKA/Studmuffins, and even interactions like Hart/Delikado seem fresh because they're not so much "face vs. heel" that we're used to seeing, which I think is going to make a really interesting set of weeks. Good matches, good segments, and really just a good overall vibe all night. Really only one or two minor things throughout the show that already got picked up on. If you think about the fact that post-PPV shows are usually shorter, this one really cranked it up by staying interesting and building up some really fun angles. My award: Looks like some strange bedfellows to me!
