2. I said in an earlier post that you were NOT the only one fishing....but you are the only one getting pissy about getting called out on it. That leads me to believe you're hiding something. Nothing at all to hide. I said in a past post that I do not have an offensive role, one where I can choose to use something on someone or do something to them. If there's any other questions you and Chaz have, I'd be delighted to answer them. Not every role that you can choose to use something on someone or do something to them is necessarily considered offensive. Protective roles, the doctor for example, would be considered more defensive than offensive. Just saying.

For the record... I had Smith confused with Speede. I thought that Smith was the one who had already been "lashed out at" for fishing, I was wrong. For that, I'm sorry, Smith.
However, you were being very aggressive right away, trying to get me to out myself.
My role is odd, and I was unable to use it last night phase.

Checking in. Sorry, guys. I've had a hellish last couple of days, and I'd like to apologize for missing vote deadline in Survivor, T-Marv. Just haven't really had the time for any of this.
No information available tonight; my result came back inconclusive.
And no, I wasn't trying to fish. I was simply agreeing that if we can nail one of our scum faster and knock them down a person, it'd make this game a lot easier on the rest of us. If it seemed as such, my fault and I'm sorry, but I'm personally at the point, after seeing what happened to us last game, that if we can get rid of one scum right off the bat, it'd be better for all of us even if someone outs their role. To hell if I'm going to let this be a repeat of the game TJ was hosting.

My role is odd, and I was unable to use it last night phase. Just curious, and you don't necessarily have to answer but I'm going to ask anyway...did you mean your role is odd as in unusual or odd in that you are only able to use it on odd nights?

Hopefully until we figure more out, our role blocker(s), doctor(s) etc keep on their toes. We been doing a good job so far, just have to keep it that way until we know more.

His action was not inconclusive last night, trust me. Speede showed his hand when he was role fishing and now he's lying to not raise suspicion.

Sure he's lying, but there's no reason for him to lie if he's town based on what I know.

It's something to go on, at least, and in a game where nothing like that has come up yet, I feel like we should take it and run with it. If Speede turns up town, then we focus on Mania, but I don't think Mania has any reason to lie at this point.

Now we're getting somewhere...
FOS: Speede
I don't have a problem outright voting for him but I don't understand Mark Mania's information, either. I'm not telling you to out your role but I have no idea how it works and whether or not there's any room for error because as of now it sounds like there may be.
And I'm sorry but it's not always as simple as vote speede and then if he flips town - we vote Mania. They could both be town. So, my question is... are you 100% certain Speede is scum?
A guarantee like that will solidify my vote. If you can't make that guarantee then I'll wait to hear his side of the story - provided Speede answers soon and doesn't stall the phase.

If you guys want to vote me off, go ahead. You'll see right away that you're making a huge mistake by doing so, and I'll explain fully now that I've got a few minutes why I was indeed telling the truth.
Night one, I checked myself to make sure that I wasn't going to be feeding everyone in this town incorrect information, and when I came back clean, I know I was legit. Night two, my night result was inconclusive, and when I tried to investigate I was told that because of my post-delete fopaw, I wasn't allowed to use my night action on night two, giving me no conclusion, the result of my attempt being inconclusive because I wasn't given an answer to my attempted investigation. I'll have to retry on night three because I wasn't able to get any information for the town, but needless to say I'm trying my best here, and you guys lynching me would result in losing a power player that could help this town get back to its winning ways.

I do not know 100% that Speede is scum, I do know that he's lying. It's weird that you'd initially say your action was inconclusive when in reality you didn't have an action due to penalty. Seems like you're trying to cover it up. My vote stays the same.

There's still time in the day for a bit of deliberation, so I'm going to hold off my vote until getting back from work (about 10 PM EST).
Actually, I'd like to wait to see if anyone calls bullshit on Speede (I am NOT expecting an actual cop to out themselves here, and please don't; if Speede is bullshitting, you're giving the Mafia/SK a look in your direction). I just want to see if anyone besides Mania has info that hurts Speede's claim.
We're already probably losing Deas today (has he posted? Don't think so), so I'm not in a huge rush to jump on Speede. Mania makes a good point in the post above about Speede's inconclusive verdict, so I'm leaning towards voting Speede; I'd just like to wait a bit longer to see if more arises.

Sgt. Al Powell: Man, how long is it gonna' be 'til I see some back-up down here? Operator: The FBI are en route and will be there ASAP. Hold your position and await further instructions One Adam Ten. Sgt. Al Powell: Screw this. Whoever is in there calling needs my help. Powell climbs out of his wrecked squad car and makes his way around the building to try and find a way in without subjecting himself to the mercy of the armed thugs way up top that just tried to take his life. Getting in close around the outskirts of the parking lot, he climbs up over the wall and clings to the building as he arrives to the main entrance. He bursts through the double doors and finds it unguarded. They must've sealed off the entrance upstairs... - Upstairs Hans Gruber, Karl and Theo are watching a bank of monitors connected to Nakatomi's Security, focused in particular on a grainy black and white image of the dangerous cop making his way up several flights of stairs. Hans: Karl, round up the posse. Looks like we've found the cowboy who killed Marco. Leave Uli with Mr. Takagi and we will go warmly receive our guest... Powell climbs up a fire escape ladder and onto the floor where the hostages are, making sure to check every corner twice of the corridors he's navigating while he tries to locate terrorists and attempt to disarm the situation. Round the next corner, he hears the sound of voices talking. He pins himself against a door and listens to see if anyone will dare turn around for him to eliminate- BOOM! Powell hits the deck like a sack of potatoes, his gun flying out from his hand and across the polished floor of the Nakatomi Plaza as the door he leans on is unceremoniously booted off its hinges and onto him by Karl who casually steps through the frame and over the door to check their catch. Hans follows suit, his Walther pistol cocked and trained on the back of the disorientated Powell's head as Tony and Franco pull the door off Powell's back and throw it to one side. Powell: Ughhhh... Hans: Ahhh... Mr. Cowboy. At last, we have found you. Your little efforts to foil our plans has come to a crashing halt. Karl, bring me his gun. It's only fitting that an officer of the law dies by the gun he serves with. Powell's eyes go wide as saucers as Karl obeys Hans's' commands and hands him the long barrelled revolver. Hans turns it over as he examines it, admiring his handiwork. Hans: They don't make them like this anymore... He pulls back the hammer and places the tip of the barrel right against the back of the head of Sgt. Al Powell, a brilliant toothy grin emerging on the sophisticated terrorists face. Hans Gruber: Any last words, Officer Powell? Sgt. Al Powell: There's others out in this building looking for you, looking to take you down. You'll never get away with this. Hans Gruber: On the contrary Officer, I already have. BANG! Hans gasps for air as a bullet punctures his windpipe. Sgt. Powell now on his back smiles as he points straight at Hans with a cocked back-up pistol in his hands. The rest of Hans gang immediately draw their weapons and pound copious amounts of assault rifle rounds into the prone body of Powell but the consequences of Hans's hesitation is vast. The damage has been done. Hans collapses and chokes to death on his own blood as his men surround him and see if there is anything to be done because surprisingly enough, there is in fact honour amongst thieves. The wound though is fatal and as Hans slowly fades into the next life, Powell rests easy knowing that he's cut the head off the hydra. Both men die in pools of their own blood, but now the terrorists face a new problem. Who will pick up the pieces and take the leadership left in Hans wake? DEAD: Roy Speede, Sgt. Al Powell, Mafia Lynch Vengeful Role CopDEAD: Reya Serra, Hans Gruber, Town Double Voter/1-Shot Executioner (Custom Role: Can use day power to secure lynch at half the required votes so long as not already voting, takes consequences of the hammer)/Mafia NK ImmuneFrom the floor above, John McClane watches the parking lot outside as it rapidly fills up with SWAT vans and cop cars and sleek black sedans with guys in suits and earpieces standing outside. Two men stand at the centre of it all, giving orders left and right as they take control of this situation. They are Agent Johnson and Special Agent Johnson, no relation and they're taking over this situation. NIGHT 3 BEGINS. YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO SEND IN YOUR ACTIONS.

Outside Nakatomi Plaza, police swarm like insects around an anthill looking for any view or vantage point to garner some intel before storming the building. Agent Johnson and Special Agent Johnson hold court outside, discussing between them what to do about the drastically worsening situation at Nakatomi. In Die Hard, things never got ugly like this, but with Hans dead and a blood-thirsty maniac and his brother at the helm things are about to get unpredictable. Agent Johnson taps his ear-piece as he receives a command from HQ. He then turns to Special Agent JohnsonAgent Johnson: What do we know Johnson? Special Agent Johnson:[/B] What I can tell you Johnson is that inside the building we have an unspecified number of terrorists holding hostage a group of no less than fifty. Amongst them is the senior VP, Joseph Takagi and most of the day staff. We don't know what they want, but we know that they want something. We believe them to be Commies sir, a group organised by Hans Gruber, an exile from some Anti-Capitalist group in Germany. A cop ran in before but he's not been heard from. One can only assume the worst... - In Takagi's office just out of reach of the main lobby, Karl, Franco, Uli, Theo and Tony are embroiled in a deep argument over the solution to the new kink in the plan. Theo paces nervously across the carpet, rubbing the back of his sweat-drenched head and muttering obscenities under his breath. Theo:[/B] Shit, what do we do man? Hans is dead. He was the brains behind all this. With him dead, things are gonna' fall apart. I can have the safe open in two hours but... FUCK, what're we gonna' do? Tony slams his fist into the desk as he stands to his feet, scaring the bejesus out of Theo. All eyes turn to him, shaking with rage and clearly under immense pressure after the death of Hans. He takes a deep breath and starts barking orders. Tony: Shut up! Stop panicking! My brother and I are going to run things now. No more fucking around. I want you, Theo back on that vault NOW. I want Uli and Franco watching the hostages and Karl? Dear brother, I want you to go and take care of our guest Takagi, crack that vault code out of him. I am going to put bullets in hostages, let them know what we are not screwing around any more and that we WON'T be fazed by renegade police men! Got it?! All: Ja! Everyone but Tony leaves the room to perform their requested tasks. He pulls a pistol from his pocket, a standard Colt .45 which he feeds with a fresh magazine and cocks for some statement making... - Navigating the back corridors of the Nakatomi Plaza to try and find Hans' men, John McClane turns the corner of a corridor to find the dead body of Sgt. Al Powell lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. John sighs as he steps in closer for a better look at the bullet riddled body, kneeling down by his side to pay some respect. John McClane: Awhhhh shittt... Who killed the cop? I- BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! RATATATATATAT! John McClane: Shit! The sound of gunfire and panicked screams erupt from the main hall. McClane turns to head to the source of the disturbance, to try and stop the massacring but he's grabbed by the vest and yanked back by Holly Gennaro-McClane into a janitors closet. Holly Gennaro-McClane: John, what the Hell are you doing?! John McClane: I've gotta' stop this Euro-Trash before they kill anymore hostages! Holly Gennaro-McClane: Don't charge in guns blazing. You're a cop, you know that you'll only get yourself killed like that. John McClane: I've gotta' get in there and do something. People are being shot! Holly Gennaro-McClane: And a lot more will die if you're dead and can't save them. You need to just wait... please, listen to me John. John seethes and punches the nearby wall, taking a moment to catch his breath back and pick broken glass out of his feet. - Karl walks through the double doors to the board room where Hans had previously been interrogating Takagi but to his surprise found the room empty of life. The guard stationed to watch him was gone, and so was Takagi. Karl: Where the Hell is Takagi? Heinrich, weren't you put on guar-AGGGGGGH. In a Japanese corporate board room surrounded by expensive models and fancy office chairs, there's no shortage of ornamental samurai swords. It's one of these finely tempered katana blades that Karl finds himself being run through with, a choked gasp of agony escaping his lips. As the sharpened tip of the ancient warrior blade pierces straight through his back and stomach and out the other side coated in his own blood, Karl gasps for air that just won't come. He slowly sinks to his knees, unable even to see his executioner, a livid and shaking Takagi who is in just as much disbelief as to his own murderous actions than Karl is about the fact he's been slain and by a businessman no less. Takagi pauses for the briefest of moments, then draws his blade out from the back of Karl eliciting a long, drawn out groan of mortal agony. Takagi takes two steps back before administering the killing blow, a cleaving swing shot that scalps the terrorist and takes off the top half of his head with all the ease of a knife through melted butter. Blood spurts out of the severed hunk of meat upwards, coating Takagi in a fine mist as the body collapses forward and pumps blood out onto the carpet below, living proof that Takagi can be ruthless outside of the board room. Either John McClane is having the worst luck in the history of Mafia so far or we're misunderstanding his role.
The other thing that's raising an eyebrow is that we just had a replacement come in for Deas, who has been inactive. And during his span of inactivity, we haven't seen Harry Ellis (the purple third party) in any of the write-ups. I won't immediately throw the new guy into the fire, but that's definitely something worth noting.

I'm trying to process my my night info, which isn't much honestly.
We're down to 2/1/1 with 7 townies. Thank GOD McClain missed night two and three or we'd really be up shit creek (even more than we are now.
I guess all I really want to know is Now What?
Here's ONE thing I know.... and it's not much.... Level One is NOT John McClain

I know Roy Speede flipped scum last night but I don't know why Reya cut the day short and wasted her role & her life like that. Honestly, we probably would've still got him by a regular vote and learned more by it. Since he was vengeful he still would've killed hammer which just would've been another townie most likely, though. So, I guess in the end it works out to about the same.
I agree with this 100%. The absence of the purple mafia from these write ups are something to take note of.
My question is... what the hell is the third party doing? Usually purple recruits - and we have seen nothing of the sort. The Deas replacement is quite alarming and I'm willing to chip in and say he was the third party purple scum.

Interesting thought about the third party being Deas. I was thinking perhaps Deas was McClane since we've had 2 nights now with no kills from him.

I could buy that. Deas is a normal inactive in Mafia games no matter the role he plays, so Purple COULD be a Cult headlined by him....
Or, and here's a wild THEORY.... perhaps it's a different kind of 3rd party role. Obviously it's not ANOTHER SK.... maybe it's a jester?
Again, a wild theory but it's something to think about.
Most likely Deas was a cultist and this new guy taking over his role is too.... probably?
idk
