Evening. Hyman Roth has just been denied extradition to Israel, and is heavily guarded as he exits a plane at Miami International Airport. An aging mobster, he’s well aware that people are out to get him. What he doesn’t know is that one of them lurks in the dark.
Rocco Lampone steps out of the shadows with his gun drawn. He fires several shots, but while some of Roth’s security guards fall down dead, the mobster is unharmed, and the fallen guards are soon joined by Lampone himself.
Joining the scene late is Roth’s recent compatriot, Frank Pentangeli.
Frank: “You alright, boss?”
Hyman: “No worse than usual. Let’s get out of here.”

Meanwhile, back in New York, we see Michael Corleone out to dinner with his brothers Sonny and Fredo. They’re in a hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, with Michael being able to see everything with his back to the wall.
Both Sonny and Fredo have dug into the veal in front of them, but Michael is uneasy. We see why, as several suited men are seen outside the restaurant.
Michael: “Boys, excuse me.”
Michael gets up and swiftly walks to the restroom. The two suits enter and follow him, and we hear gunshots ring out from the stall.
Sonny and Fredo flee, fearing the worst. However, as we cut back to the bathroom, where the stall door has been blown down, we see…nothing except an opening in the floor. Michael has escaped through a secret passage, and we see him rejoin his brothers outside as police surround the establishment.

The three brothers return home, only to see that their compound has been broken into. In running through the front door, they stumble upon a very unwelcome sight.
Sonny: “Connie!”
Indeed, Connie Corleone, the lone daughter of the deceased Don Vito Corleone, has been gunned down. Sonny, always protective of his baby sister, is visibly enraged, and Michael and Fredo try to calm him down as our scene fades to black.

a few things first... sally said it all. how do u change feelings about somebody so easily? and how is sally kicking my ass in this game?  i would also like to note the defense of LA after the replacement. possible scum buddies? he certainly would be a good choice to check out later on. i wasnt fully fully convinced on the stone lynch until sallys post and his argument with L-O. whoever scum r, they r experienced players n know exactly how to play. that being said i believe that stone is playing that game. FOS: HadesJules is not scum so I was looking over the votes and this one stood out to me. Envi's vote as well as Hades were also ones that stood out. I'm rethinking everything after the info I got clearing Jules and the fact Stone came up as town. The following players are on my radar: Reaver, Envi, Hades, Gooch, KJE, Pepsi Those are the people I'm looking at. Thinking scum wants a quick lynch on either Stryke or Jules going by what's gone down which is why I'm not going that route. Have several players I'm looking at and the only players I trust at this point are Jules and Sally. I also think Raab is town as well. |

I personally would be much more sold on a Hades lynch than Reaver at this point. Maybe it's just because I find Reaver is playing his typical game which always comes across as scummy, but usually ends up flipping town. I am not saying I am completely against the lynch, just not completely sold yet. Hades on the other hand has been pretty scummy the whole game. He frequently votes as soon as someone is targeted and offers no explanation for his votes. This to me is complete bandwagon play. So until I hear something else that convinces me...

I can't really help at all so I don't blame you for having me on your list. Hopefully in time I can show I am town. I wasn't comfortable with the Stone lynch, and I even said that. Right now all I can do is hope we pick off the right people seeing as though the wrong ones have been going thus far.
I wont throw a vote down until I hear more from people (those with votes on them, and those who might have information) and hopefully someone has something good to work off of.

If you care to elaborate on why I'm a suspect I will gladly respond to it. If you don't take the time to explain why I'm a suspect I am not going to expend all my energy defending myself. I will say this. I am town, my role has no real power except during the day when I choose to use it. Any other info you want you will have to ask. |

I completely agree with Jenning's suspicion list. I though Hades vote in the last day phase was scummy (stated as such backthen). Evi's 'fly by night' approach here - where he has swooped in with no real contributions to jump onto a lynch that is already rolling - stands out. Pepsi, well, I wasn't much suspicious off until his no-sell just then of being on the list. I wondered if he knows that Hades isn't scum and has jump on that to try and provide some cover (knowing some are already suspicious of me).
Anyway, happy to let a few more people to check in before starting a real investigation here.
No surprise we lost L1 - he's usually a night one kill anyway. But it made me think back to the first night: The only kill we had there was a modkill. I'm assuming an inactive mafia there, at least an inactive Godfather (suspicions lead me to Rebel there). This is the first night where there's a realistic expectation that the scum have killed people. There is an assumption there on the previous night that Pancho may have been scum killed, but the videoclip with no write-up helps us at all.
Anyway, for the record: I was roleblocked last night. Seems like my activity for the night phases is over, given that it's two nights in a row now. The scum got lucky: I was targeting L1 last night.

Hmmm... I guess I'll try chiming in here. I don't think I'll start off with suspicions or accusations, instead the first thing I'll start off with is a question. Given the write up for Night 3 is it safe to assume that we have scum and a third party?
Next, I'll say that I think Pepsi and Raab are both town given their response to suspicion leveled against me at the beginning of Day 3. The two of then and Stone all questioned that particular suspicion. Since Stone flipped town after defending me, I'd be willing to believe that Pepsi and Raab are town as well. I'm willing to believe that, since I am town and I don't see why non-town would defend me.
Something to just mention to Jennings, I believe Level One vouched for Gooch on Day 3, and as L-1 was town I don't think he'd vouch for someone without a fairly good idea of what side they were on. He did vouch for Jennings and Sal as well earlier. I merely wanted to point that out for consideration on your suspect list.
And something Sal mentioned on Day 3 about the possible of roles on the scum team. I know there were four different roles you listed, but couldn't those all be rolled into a scum JOAT? The town had one after all so why not the other side as well. That could account for a variety of one shot powers right?
I'm not too sure about my own suspicions at the moment so I don't want to throw out any accusations that might turn into runaway lynches. Like I said on Day 3, we're losing town players too quickly to get sloppy here looking for the bad guys. Stone appeared to be scum, but I never had the feeling he was scum, just that he made a bad call with Speede and then put himself in a hole afterwards.

y was my vote suspicious out of the rest? i was skeptical at first until i was convinced by sally. stone was acting odd and while everybody was compelled to vote him, i was a lil nervous to be the hammer but took the chance anyways just like the rest. we failed. thats not my fault but the fault of us collectively. i can understand y u might find me suspect and thats fine. keep this in mind, its day 4 rite? normally u and i would b at each others throats by now and on opposing sides. seems to be wat we do.....
not this time. im trying my best to help keep things in favor of the town (even tho im busy) and not let scum or third party (told you so fuckers) get ahead of us. now i too have a question. wat were u doing last day phase kash? u were mia along with gooch. im going to reserve my full on attack mode until everybody checks in and shares wat they have but since ur active today, wat happened to u?

i agree with sally and james but again i wanna see wat the others have to say. if they dont say anything then im going to throw my vote on the inactive. heres another question for u james. im not doubting u but is it possible that the read u got on jules was false? could he be the gf? i was up last nite thinking about that. it would make sense seeing as how we have a few "inactive" inexperienced guys and somehow all the top rated mafia players r being killed first. could jules be running the show? just wondering is all. he is very experienced, he knows the "rankings" in this game or how well people play, and who to kill in what order. the silence could be coming from his teammates waiting on him to tell them wat to do.
its just possible is all.

Ah. I understand that my lack of constant activity has looked bad, and I don't want to blame it on real life, but I think my general inactivity on the boards shows that I've been away more often than not (which doesn't help, obviously), not necessarily trying to lurk. It's a poor way to try to get familiar with how to play the game, but I just feel that I only know about a fraction of what's going on, so my "contributions" might look a bit silly and draw unnecessary suspicion toward me anyway.
Regardless, I'll participate more in the thread. I'd urge you to not vote for me, because each one is a vote wasted...
Anyway, I'll be looking over the thread again over the next hour or so before I commit to a vote.

Knuckles, I never once used the "New Excuse" I said I sucked at this game. I just never put in any real focus to the game and right now so much else is weighing in my my mind. And what Envi just said goes for me as well. Truth isn't an excuse.

After doing some reading, I am going to cast a vote for Hades. Initially, my vote was Stryke, just because I have seen nothing that suggests me that Rebel wasn't at some point a mafia member that was simply modkilled for inactivity within the thread. Or, inactive altogether. However... I'm more sold on Hades being "scum" at this point because he's done next to nothing to defend himself. I don't really know if his role was mentioned, but I have no idea what it could be.
When he was targeted before, he simply urged the town to vote for him, and it seemed to throw everybody off of his "scent" so-to-speak, and since then, I haven't seen much from him. The bandwagon voting (which I was openly guilty of last time I voted) is another thing that sticks out, though he truly offers no motive or reasoning behind his vote-- even if it is just to hop on the bandwagon and force somebody out faster.
But. Yeah, that's where I stand with this. Reaver brings up a decent point about the Jules scenario (assuming an experienced player is at the helm), but Jennings (town) is an experienced player of the game as well and seems convinced that he isn't scum. I've seen Jules defend himself, which is more than a lot have tried to do, encouraging me to agree with the notion that he's town. The only two TRUE suspects I can come up with are, as before mentioned, Stryke and Hades.
