I'm going to use this one thread of all my Indy wrestling stuff. Feel free to reply guys.
So I did 2 shows this weekend. First show was Friday. My match was before the main event. There was lots of kids so they seemed to like me. Gave my opponent 2 arm drags and they were chanting 1 more time which was pretty cool. The ending of the match got fucked up and we went to the finish and I lost. Which resulted in me not getting any offence in and basically getting squashed. Besides the opening minute. I hated the match. And the worse thing, I hyper extended my elbow.
Saturday my elbow was killing me. Could barely move it so didnt know if I could compete. After getting some ice on it and popping Tylenol all day my elbow was good enough to work. I worked the same guy as the previous night and did a couple of same spots but changed it up. We did some fighting out on the floor. I was able to hit a top rope crossbody as well as a tiltawhirl DDT. I lost the match but I was very happy with it
Next weekend I'm back at it. The honky tonk man will be at the show as a special guest. I'll fill you all in on that next week. I'm hoping i get pictures and videos of my matches soon to show you guys

So I was back in the ring last night. It was the show that featured the Honky Tonk Man. I didn't talk to him. There was a local legend at the show talking to him, as well as Kurrgan stopped by to chat with his old pal.
Anyways, I was in a 7 man Gauntlet Match (2 guys start, when one gets beat, a new guy comes out. This continues till theres 1 guy left)
I started off the match coming out first, taking on a guy named XXL (Double X L) who was making his return after like 3 years. Anyways, heres the match. I got some good feedback on it. So Enjoy and I'd love to hear what you guys thought

And Knuckles finds out yet again how being ignored feels...Haha! If it was me wrestling and you had a belt or yelled Johnny Knuckles, I'd hit you with a chair but that's out of virtual habit..

I was in the ring again last night. Wrestled a guy by the name of Rain Taylor, a rockstar, early Chris Jericho type of character. He's actually my buddy from wrestling school. He was making his singles debut. The match went ok. a few hick ups, but he was nervous. I should have the match posted here later tonight hopefully. I also took part in a battle royal last night. It was a shitty battle royal. No planning, just making everything up on the spot. I have video of that too. o I got sold some pictures at the show. I brought 30 and sold 20 at 5 bucks each. So I made $100 on merch sales. I did the best out of everyone. I signed a ton of autographs during intermisson. Lots of kids there. I wish my name was shorter lol. Show was sold out. I was told that there was 250 chairs and 50 people standing. In a small town and this was our 2nd show there, its awesome. Hopefully we can build from that. I'm wrestling next saturday. Im in a royal Rumble, and also in a tag team match. My partner is the guy I wrestled last night. Then I wrestle again the following friday. Its the same show, just in a different town. So yah, check back later for video. Also, follow me on facebook to keep up with the latest. Fan Page: www.facebook.com/#!/elfuegodragon Wrestler page: ドラゴン フエゴ (Copy and paste that in your search. Its Fuego Dragon in japanese. It won't let me use that as a name in english)

So I had my first tag match last night and it was a big pile of shit. Me and my partner was basically suppose to get squashed to put over this monster tag team which was their first match in the company. These guys are greener than me so they basically forgot the whole match. I was suppose to get the hot tag but one guy threw my partner in my corner and I kinda had to tag in and it was just a complete mess. We got a few days to fix it and we do it again on Friday. Doubt there's video of this match. At least I hope there isn't lol.
I was also in a royal rumble match which went OK for what it was.
Plus side I sold 1 picture. Could have maybe sold more if we didn't stink up the place. I didn't even bother to go sign autographs cause we sucked. Lol.
Also to add insult to the shitty night. We had a 2 hour drive home. The driver ended up driving in the wrong direction for half an hour. Didn't get home till like 2:30 in the morning

I wrestled again tonight. 3rd weekend in a row. We did the same show as last week. And this time the match went great. Got squashed but looked good doing it. I hit a middle dropkick from the 2nd turn buckle which was nice. Also got choke slammed lol
The rumble match was what it was. Nothing special but still fun. I get a break now till May 31st
During intermission, my partner and I were signing autographs and there was this one bitch that kept telling us we sucked and for fans not to take our pictures. It reminded me of that episode of family guy from like season 1 or 2 where buddy kept following Peter and calling homna phoney. Lol
So yah that was my night. I dunno if anyone reads this but this thread is turning into my wrestling journal lol

Gotta admit, it's damned cool to be living your dream like this. It won't be long till you get to be a real big name, and I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. Definitely a fan, and if I ever end up in Canada, I want to come to a show. Or if you're ever down here in the states.

Mate, I've been singing for 10 years on and off and I still get shit gigs even now. Week before last I did a gig where no one acknowledged I was alive and it was a horrible experience, yet the night after I had a standing ovation and 4 more gigs out of it. Saturday gone I was in the roughest place I've ever been. Women glassing each other and mass brawls kicking off all night. I'm on crutches cause my knee is fucked up, so I was terrified, but apparently I was the best singer they'd ever heard and they want me back next month . . . Not going to happen, but what I'm trying to say is you never know who's watching. All you need is a break and it's not what you know but who you know.
Nothing you've done so far is negative. You're getting the most important thing ever - experience! Keep working hard, turning up on time and building a fan base. Video everything, and go over your matches and see what you are doing well and what needs work. Same no matter what job you do really.
When my knee is all healed and I get back in shape I'm going to learn how to wrestle. You inspired me to do it.
Keep plugging away, stay humble and always remember that it's about entertaining the fans first and foremost and you'll do awesome.
Proud of you!

So you guys know, I'll be back in action this Saturday, May 31st. I'm suppose to be in a fatal 4 way match. Also early in the day, I'm at a Sports Chek store signing autographs with some other wrestlers, rasing money to help less fortunate children live a healthy active lifestyle and participate in sports

I love that you have kept this as an "Active Journal" and love checking in and seeing you still going strong and having fun with both the grind and the shine.
If you ever drop the Dragon gimmick, you could always become the "Action Packed Athlete", it's okay you can use that free of charge haha. Your shine is inspiring..Keep up the hustle Boss.

I'm so glad that you're wrestling career is really taking off a lot Jeff. You seem like you put in a huge amounts of hard work into you're wrestling and even training in the gym as well. Seems like you're getting more bookings by the minute and that's a good thing. Keep up the awesome hard work dude.

Did my show tonight. Ended up doing a triple threat match. I did a suicide dive for the first time and took a superplex. Match went really good. I'll have video of it posted tomorrow.

Haha. The camera guy at the show was in the way so the video my gf took doesn't have the full effect. I'm a try to get the official video if it cause I suicide dive through the ropes and through one if my opponents legs.
I'll be posting the video real soon

Been meaning to say this but those "Dreads" looking things on the back of your mask? You should just grow your hair long and dread that shit out! Keep it real! Haha EDITING AS I WATCH VIDEO: -- After you dropkick dude back outside the ring, you "Put Em Up" like you bout to scrap! Haha (3:00 Mark) As promised... -- HAD to get some of the celebration after. Just a nice touch to it, fan interaction is awesome to see. -- Dude in the black underwears on the turnbuckle. Funny as shit! (5:17 Mark) -- Same guy is also pretty good at selling one thing and doing another, very good Heel trait. Fans booed which is great, you two had good work together! -- I threw up my hands with "Awwwwww Poor Jeff" as you took the brunt of that Powerbomb/Super Plex from the corner. (8:40 Mark) -- Dude in the pink (Rain Taylor I believe?) took the knees to the back on the countered Senton from the top like a CHAMP! I cringed. (9:35 Mark) -- The running Knee Strike Finisher was pretty genius. Like a to the back version of Daniel Bryan's running Flying Knee. Nice touch. I liked it, you look so much sharper now than earlier on. Kind of a new twist on El Generico if you will. He was White Canadian playing a Masked Luchador, you're a White Canadian playing a Masked Japanese Wrestler. I love the gimmick, the ropes look a little loose but it holds I'm sure. I even love the smaller crowds because it's more interactive, you can hear them better and entertain them at a closer level. This is very cool.
