Night 1 is done. Last night I became the new NWE Elite Champion (midcard title). We're suppose to do the same show the entire tour so I'll be winning the title 4 times lol. The crowed popped good when I won so that was good. Got to travel with Bushwhacker yesterday and will be again today which is pretty cool. Hard to understand what he says but still cool. I even got to see his Hall of Fame ring which is pretty awesome for me. We grabbed a bite to eat after the show at a Tim Horton and Luke bought me a sandwich lol. Man what a tour. I spent almost 10 hours worth of traveling in a car with Bushwhacker Luke. He was telling some stories including some Ribs that were done back in the day. Got to talk with the guy, had A few meals with him. Went out to the bar with him, even bought us drinks, pretty cool.
I wrestled 5 matches in 4 nights, won the title in 3 of the shows and defended it on the last show. One of our shows was taped for TV. Luke watched that match, even though I wasn't totally happy with it cause my opponent forgot everything and I had to call everything and carry him, Luke said it was a good match and that I moved well in the ring and I was exciting. So maybe the match wasn't as bad as I thought. But pretty sweet to get a compliment from a WWE Hall of famer.
Saturday we did our last show near a camp ground, so to create some buzz for the show and try to sell a couple extra tickets, a few of us went in our gear handing out some free tickets. Kids were walking with us, running to get their friends. People were taking pictures with us. We were like celebrities there.
I'm pretty tired now, got back home this morning at 5 am and only got a few hours sleep, but it was a great experience. I'm happy I was part of this tour.
