El Fuego Dragon vs Kayden Rave
First off, you pulled his hair. I seen it! Haha but what's with the grey layer on the screen? Looks like ya'll wrestling in a Smoke Shop and folks is puffing HARD on that Good! With that said, onto the match! Kayden at around 2:46 says "That's ridiculous" and a kid in the crowd responds "You're Ridiculous" I was ROLLING laughing! So funny! The Fireman Double Knee buster he did was decent, you sold it better than he executed though. The ropes look very unstable to me. They seem too tall and apart but also very loose. At about 4:50 you hit a nice Crossbody off the top, the submission move before it though was a little sloppy, maybe more because of the ropes but it could be crisper there overall. You should do a Double Knee to the corner type move, might fit. I think the "Splash" attempt was a little noticeable as being a miss and his finish (again possibly because of slagging ropes) came off as ehhh...Overall? Not your best match but you can see you're perfecting your character.
El Fuego Dragon Vs Canadian Idol Vs Krusher Kirk Krupp
Canadian Idol's entrance was classic, the "You Suck" with the fan was just classy! Loved that. Then a Titty Twister Combo? Oh my GAWD! Shit is just grand! Hahaha the Look Up part was creative, CI trying to do it as well added to it but then him trying to do a Look Down? HAHAHA! Just fantastic stuff right there!! You hit those arm drags like a STUD! Because you're a "Dragon" you should throw in some knees and kicks, just to pay homage to the typical Dragon wrestlers who usually come from Japan and have a wide variety of kicks and such. Maybe some muay thai knees? I dunno. The ring itself was MUCH better than the other match, the ropes seemed solid and not loose. Awww the reversal on the Knife edge chops was cool but CI grabbed hold of dude's ass as he was head deep in his crotch. SMH but there is something not right about you using one of their heads to ram the other one's nuts. Just wrong Boss!! Post match, I seen that kid at ringside and the security guy run after him. That was pretty funny, kid booked as dude was coming. You cleaning house after CI and his manager got hands on was clean and nice. I WANT A VICTORY!!

The kid was actually the son of Canadian idols manager lol. The fed from the triple threat match is more professional. The ring is from high spots and its top notch. The other fed almost feels backyardish. But sometimes you gotta put up with shit for bookings

Oh yeah, totally understandable. Kevin Steen (Canadian Wrestler too) said he wrestled in a Ring that was setup inside of a Empty Swimming Pool. So I can imagine but that also gives you an experience so it should come with open arms.

Here's the official video of my Triple Threat match from September. Better quality and with Commentary. Also after the match, theres an interview with Canadian Idol and his manager Chris Cole challenging me to a Mask Vs Mask match at our next show on November 15.
In other news, I was contacted late last night by a promoter to work a show tomorrow night, making my debut in a different fed and province. I hope I can get video of that match to show you guys. Wish me luck as I heard that the shows for this fed usually sells out and has up to 600 people at the shows.

I worked in a handicap match last night. Me and another mask guy against this big monster of a guy. We lost and i took an F5 lol. Wasn't really a squash as we got our stuff in. The match seemed to go over good, the kids loved me. Sold some pictures and took some and signed a bunch if autographs. The promoter seemed happy with my performance and didn't have anything bad to say at the time. Hopefully I can get booked back there in the spring as it pays well and they draw an awesome crowd, which we had at least 400 there last night.
I don't have video of it. If I get it I'll be sure to post it. My next match is the Mask vs Mask match on November 15

Ive won matches
Anyways, last night show was Awesome. All the matches we're good. The crowd was hot from start to finish. My match went over really well. I got nothing but possitive feedback from it. The crowd loved it. Some people we're telling me that it was one of the loudest matches of the night. It's probably my best/favorite match yet. Just finished it, AWESOME! I don't remember any other victories but I was hooting and hollering for this one! I've seen you wrestling Idol another time, he's good work so it's a big spot for you. Loved this. Great showing and a really good match as well. Good job Boss. Keep em coming!

So tomorrow night I'm working what is probably my last show for the year. Its in a small town, a Native Reserve. I was there this past summer. I'm suppose to be working a Tag Match also a Rumble. Not sure if the show is being taped, if it is, I'll post it as soon as I get it. I've also made some DVD's to sell at the show, hopefully it goes over well. I'll post an update on the show probably Sunday

Wow, crazy night last night. Not only did I wrestling in 1 match, but I wrestled in 3 matches. This was a new promotion with a group of guys who aren't as experienced, and kinda get over looked in booking, so the promoter got us all together for just a fun show. Small back story, theres been some drama going on over this show from bigger named guys with ego's. I had my doubts show this show, but it came off better than I expected. It wasn't the best show in the world, but I think we gave the community that we we're in a good time out and everyone had fun and no one got seriously hurt. My first match was against Canadian Idol. It was the 2nd match of the night. The crowd was dead during the first match. But man, Canadian Idol worked his ass off last night and got the fans making some noise. He may have saved the show in terms of getting the crowd out of their shell and having fun. Anyways, our match was basically all our matches we've done put into one. It was probably the best match on the show. My 2nd match came after I did a run in, saving Cuzin Joe from a beat down. It was the Teddy Long match making, turning a singles match into a tag team match. So it was Me and Cuzin Joe Vs Kayden and Thee Pledge in a tag team match. Now this match, we called it on the fly. There was nothing planned for this match and it was the first time I've been put in that kind of situation in front of a live crowd. It came off better than I expected. The ending came when I hit a cross body from the top and Canadian Idol ran in and broke up the pin, causing a big brawl with a couple other guys coming out, setting up the main event, The Royal Rumble Match number 3, a 12 man Royal Rumble. Guess who drew lucky number 1, This guy. I'll admit, the rumble was crappy, there was no organization behind it. It was basically, this is when you come out, here's your final 4. Figure the rest out out there. Anyways, I eliminated a couple of people and guess what, I WON! I got put over big at this show. And for winning, I won this . . . . . .    The show was taped, so once I get footage I'll be posting it. I haven't even told my girlfriend or anyone in my family that I won. I want them to mark out when they see it, hahaha. So not a bad way to end the year. I don't think I deserve to be givin that title, but I'll take it. It will probably be the only world title I ever win, due to my size. |

Wow Jeff, all that hard work has really paid off hasn't it to win a few more matches since the mask vs mask match that I haven't watched yet and now you're a champion? That's amazing and all I have to say from everyone in APW is congratulations and enjoy the title reign while you can because you're very lucky to win a title which most wrestlers these days never get the chance to even win a title. I think honestly, you won the title because you put out great work consistently in the ring. Well deserved title win and you're getting better in the ring each and every time and I'm coming to a point where I'm a fan of you're character and how funny you are during you're matches. I'm proud of you buddy and congrats yet again.

Haven't updated this thread in a while, but I have been wrestling lately. My first match of the year was back at the end of March, heres video of the match And then at the end of April, I worked two shows, first a tag team match Then I did a 7 man Battle Royal to crown the first Elite Champion And from the Battle Royal, I made the front page of the paper of the town we we're in   And finally, last weekend, I worked 2 shows and had 3 matches. On the 2nd show, the show started with accepting an open challenge with me winning after my opponent wouldn't stop attacking me and shoved the ref. He would call out someone to help double team me. Then one of the locals made the save, setting up for the tag team main event which I have video of. now before you watch this tag match, let me just say that the card for the show fell apart that morning. Some wrestlers had to leave, some didn't make it so some of us had to work 2 matches. My partner in this match is a trainee who is no where close to being ready for a match, but we we're in his town and since's he's a local, we put him in the match, but we made him do nothing, so the tag match is bascially me taking the heat for 10 mins. Im gonna have more updates in the upcoming weeks but heres a good one.
I did a show last night, ended up only being in front of 40-50 people. Apparently word on the street that former WWE wrestler Renee Dupree (Who lives 2 hours away from the venue) was seen taring down posters and shit since his fathers promotion ran in the building we we're in before and Renee considers it his turf I guess. Stupid bullshit. He didn't crash the show like he thought he might, so all was good.
This show was build as "Battle for the Belts" we're we crownd all our champions. The main event was a 18 man Royal Rumble or something and there was a 4 man tournament to crown the mid card champion. I was in the tournament and in the opening match, taking on a guy by the name of Preston Carter. We had a decent opener and I picked up the win.
My 2nd match which was the finals of the tournament was against a guy by the name of Narcis Saint. He's been wrestling for a while, has experience and me and him gelled well together. We had what may have been the best match on the card. I have video of this match and will post it as soon as I can get it uploaded. It was a very good match.
After my 2nd match, was the royal rumble. Because of a couple of no shows, I played a different character, one half of a tag team. So after my match I had to change right away cause I was #3. My partner was #2. His name is El Handsomo and my name was El Handsomer. Basically it was a in and out comedy spot. I have video of that I'll post as well. The characters are just goof balls that dance horriably and theres always someone different that plays the characters. lol.
And then later in the rumble I came back out as my character, didn't do anything speical. I have video of just my appearance in the rumble so I'll get that posted for you all.

I really liked that first match. Is that dude Samoan? He kicked you a few times and it looked pretty stiff which I liked. Not that you getting kicked is entertaining...Maybe a little? Haha! I enjoy that the loss wasn't a clean victory too, it doesn't hurt your character much at all and still sells him as being the winner. Nice back and forth and you're right, probably the most crisp match I've seen so far but I love this progression.
El Handsomer? I don't even know what to say about that Dancing but this was super quick! Dude BULLDOZED you as you danced towards him. Even the camera person giggled a few times. Dancing was just WOW...I didn't hear a count out though, was it a count out? You know it was a bad outing when the referee is helping you to the back though. Haha! I want to know the cause for this character though, I want details BOSS!!
The rumble had it's moments. Couldn't hear the names being called but the balded bearded dude with a single strap singlet looks like a Fat, Bald Daniel Bryan! The dude in the silver or white trunks reminded me a bit of a Dynamite Kid in his look. You two had a good little scrap. That big darker skinned guy, Samoan or Spanish maybe? He fucked you up with them head punches in the corner. Very good selling on your part throughout. You were a beast lasting as long as you did.
I usually like to kick back and smoke a bowl or two watching videos but I was so glued, I didn't even finish one bowl. Barely hit it 3 times. So that says something and that something is good. Love the progress man, making us proud!
