I get what is going on except for one part. Someone earlier said that Knuckles bit Blade. If Knuckles bit Blade then why are we going after Blade instead of Knuckles? I'm thinking of this backwards of the rest of you. If Blade is the recruiter and he targetted me it didn't go through or the actual recruiter is the biter. Maybe they both are recruiters for different factions. I'm thinking the biter is more dangerous but that's just my interpretation. I actually do believe Blade's story but there's a lot of this that isn't making much sense to me. I think the Zombie is more dangerous but I'm probably overthinking the whole thing and thinking the opposite of most everyone else.

My logic is that Knuckles bit Blade-- and Blade's role/power/etc converted Knuckles into a member of the cult. Hence, we take Blade out first before anyone else can fall into that trap, then go after Knuckles.
...assuming we are correct.
If not, then Noble is the next logical target since they are the ones to put suspicion upon Blade and Knuckles.

I was leaning toward a possible lynch of Blade or Knuckles, but after reading over everything I missed since this morning...I'm not 100%.
IF and I will say that this is a somewhat big if, Blade is telling the truth that if Knuckles bit him, or however he put it, that there is a nexus or a bus driver...could there be merit to it? I'm not trying to derail it, but the person I sent my night action in on wasn't who it ended up being used on (though the person who it was used on was none of Blade, Knuckles or James). I can't say for sure that there is anything to it, but with Blade mentioning it, I figured I'd throw it out there.
There is the possibility that Keaton and Noble are working together to try and get this lynch going and have Blade be axed, and I'm not ruling it out. If Blade is killed and comes up town, those are the two I am going after, personally, because those are the two that have pushed hard for it.
@ James - I thought the same thing. It didn't seem right that if Knuckles was town and Shannon, why if he was successful in biting Blade did Blade end up recruiting him? That's the other part that really sticks for me. Knuckles says he got an inconclusive, which doesn't add up with Noble's successful bite of Blade.
ALSO, I'd like to point out that while Rachel (I believe that's the character who "recruits" Shannon) is purple and probably third party, so is Brian who tried to kill Nathan. If we have a mafia and third party, we're already sitting at a 3 man third party with a recruiter, recruitee and a killer (I'm assuming that since they are all the same color they are all together).
With all of that taken into account, I'm going to:
Vote: Knuckles
I don't like how the Blade lynch is looking, and I think that if we're going off the base assumption that Knuckles is Shannon, with so much out there that makes Blade's lynch look shady at best, I'm willing to place my vote on what we should have 100% if Knuckles is indeed the biter.
Though I'm also looking at Gubayama simply because it doesn't add up. Level One said that he sent Gubayama his role shortly into day one, and Gubayama didn't post. He wasn't mod-killed. Probably was active in a QT. I'm not voting for him right now because I feel more confident in Knuckles then I do him.

I'm not happy with the way that the Blade lynch has gone on. All we know is that Knuckles tried to bite Blade. And from those earlier posts (as I have had to just read from page 5 to 9 in one sitting!) it seemed that the bite was unsuccessful. Yes, ok, Blade may well be someone that converted Knuckles in return, but we've got no solid information on that.
There is no night action information confirming that Blade did anything to Knuckles.
I can't put a vote on someone based on Saint's information derived from the flavour when we know that there is someone with an offensive power who has the night action to bite and recruit.
I'm a little disappointed that the day phase here didn't evolve something like this:
"Ok, we know that Knuckles can bite people ... we think he bit Blade ... let's lynch Knuckles and then target Blade the next night action ..."
That's what I would have thought would happen, and that's what I want to happen now.

Because there was no explanation. It just looks like bandwagoning. I know you're going for the whole 'mystery and mysterious' persona/image here playing by your own rules (based on your exchange with Farq earlier). this is messed up man, cuz noble "says" i bit somebody but the write up says that nobody was bitten, im looked at as scum/third party.
GUB has looked scummy ALL day and nobody is throwing a vote on him.
ive done everything i could to help out but i dunno wat else i can do. GUB changing his vote and flip flopping 3 times already seems very suspicious in my opinion. im willing to guess that, if anything, GUB had something to do with shannon and rachael

Interesting choice of words. I'm acting mysterious because of quoting preferences? Okay, how relevant.
I am town, and I am loyal to the town. A reason why Blade got me to step down is because he swore to never play this game again (in APW, at least) if he flipped anything else other than town. I am willing to do and say the same. There's no reason to point at me simply because I don't see the need to rinse/repeat others' judgments just to blend in with the crowd. That in itself is scummy.
Fair point though that I'm willing to stick out like a sore thumb. I guess I just play differently than the lot of you.

Why aren't you throwing a vote out for anyone? i just dont feel confident enuff yet. everybody is throwing theory after theory out there and i wanna make sure i dont fail like i did last game. im kinda hopin that somebody who knows the flavor better might shine better light on all this. so far, i feel that if blade shows up town then noble would be my logical choice but then again, with GUB being as scummy as he has been all day then im heading towards him. |
