Think about what you guys are saying... Why'd they kill James? Theory... Mafia could know who we all are already. Or like I said, they could have seen James role on Night 1, and killed him Night 2 (which just happens to be at the same time I visited him aka maybe a coincidence). They might have known his role, and gotten rid of the threat. Like I said, just a theory. That would be an incredibly gross over-balance of powers. They could literally just pick off power-roles the first few nights. And yes, it's always possible the Mafia knew of JamesV's role, but setting you up/eliminating him as a threat in a two birds/one stone scenario seems like too wide of a stretch with too many variables.

Coincidence or not, I do believe I've effed myself in the "a" lol. I really did play this game way too wrong (once again). Maybe I should just retire from mafia altogether lol. I always seem to get myself killed!

I always seem to get myself killed! You have no votes on you, with the only real evidence against you being self-inflicted. Don't give up yet; you can still help us here. You *could* role-claim (rules say you can anytime apparently), but I'm not going to suggest it unless there's any info you can share that would absolutely clear you, which I'm assuming would come from night 1.

And that Mr. Knoble, kind of worries me. Right now, we have no info, and I don't know what your affiliation is (as you doubt my affiliation too, I'm sure). Roleclaiming would be absolutely moronic of me right now. I could furthermore be feeding my own limbs to the wolves, you know?

That's why I told you not to do it unless you have a significant reason to do so. Plus, after the whole "useless" role fiasco, there would be an obvious doubt there that would be purely a speculative argument. The best move is to wait just a bit longer for peeps to show up, and then proceed. On the bright side, this conversation has put this game on a healthy active level, so....kudos for that, ha.

I've really been trying to play this game as IF I were mafia. How would they survive, how would they answer questions, how would they proclaim their innocence? You know? I've spent so many games trying to just clear myself time and time again, that this time, I wanted to lay low with a "useless" mentality. When I saw James died, I freaked, thinking that they were trying to frame me. Needless to say, I kind of jumped the gun. But then again, maybe not. I guess I'll have to play it out.

I'll bite.
I don't believe one thing Chaz is saying and he's making no sense to me with his theory's. The fact that no one else has come forward to confirm that Chaz did indeed visit James, seems like Chaz is trying to protect himself early like Level One did the last game thinking someone was watching him last night, due to his play on day 2. I think no one watched Chaz last night

I really wish everyone would check in! (especially those with info that could or could not clear Chaz) Before we started getting the lynch wagons out.
however, there is a lot that Chaz is saying that doesn't sit right with me. I have a gut feeling that he truly just played this game very bad... but it could be more than that.

I would like to know what part of this you guys think I'm lying about...
- The "I lied to you" part
- The "I visited James" part
- Or the "I can't believe it's not butter" part.
I mean, I don't see where any of what I said could be seen as a lie. Am I lying about lying? Would that make any effing sense? Lol. I just don't get it. Someone in this mix is mafia, that's all I know. And that same someone, continues to jump from bandwagon to bandwagon, agreeing with whatever town says.
Jeff, I called you out about your "previous games" post a few days ago, as it sounded a bit "scummy". And obviously you placing a vote on me (pushing for a lynch, making no sense whatsoever), has heightened my awareness of you. Because like it or not, you know damn-well that there's a chance I wasn't watched by anyone last night. Also, I know there's a chance that you and your mafia buddies (if you are), have already decided who's going to come forward and say they watched me. It's a sticky situation.
I might have messed up by lying at first, but that doesn't make me scum. You're pushing pretty hard on that, why? Because I called you out a few days ago? Pay attention peeps, pay attention. Because after I die (now I probably wont for a few nights), then you know straight who to go after, right Jeff?

Wait... you say you weren't watched by anyone last night....
But before you said you KNEW you that scum saw you visit James.
Which Is it? This feels like more backpeddling/desperate maneuvering.

Let's say you visited JamesV he's town and you may or nto be town. But now he's dead it can either be a modkill or something fishy happened on the subject. Chaz you have rasied some hairs on people's neck as if you want us to lynch you. I want to hold out on that but at the end of the day someone's lying here. Goodburn was out early due to some of his inactivity also he's a rookie. I'm also a rookie but i'm also taking to account all of my surroundings. So Chaz i'll be watching you very closely i'll hold off my vote on you until I know further.

Goodburn was out due to his inactivity?
He was the MOST active player on day one...he was killed by mafia because he was new and it wouldn't draw suspicion.
James V was most likely NOT a mod kill cause I'm sure Jules would have distinguished that.

If it were a mod-kill then surely two people would've died tonight? It seems silly that just because someone got mod-killed Jules would take away the mafia's NK.
Personally, my ass is sore from all this fence-sitting and I think given how Chaz's entire gameplay so far has been a complete balls-up and been completely counter-productive to the town we have more than a good enough reason to lynch him. Then we can start finding the rest of his scum mates/real scum team once we've got this god-awful distraction out of the way.
Furthermore, I have nothing with which I can share about my night role again due to my violation of the editing rule and for that I apologise.

Seriously Chaz is too defensive and tense to not be scum. He is trying to act like he's town but I can see through him like a two way mirror. No indication of a MOD-KILL is affirmative and it's fishy you'd visit someone who winds up dead before the beginning of Day 3. I seriously think you're lying and you aren't foolling anyone SCUM. If anyone else sees through your lies then you'll be going on a lynch ride amigo.

I don't know if I'm speaking a foreign language, should word myself better, or just find a translator... So I'll go over this one more time.
- Chaz visited James the night he died.
- Chaz lied about his "power", to try a different approach at the game.
- Chaz thinks that either A.) Mafia tracked him, knew who he watched, and lynched that person. (We all can agree that this is a very far fetched theory, but it's just a theory.) Or B.) It was completely coincidental that they killed him the night I paid him a visit.
- Chaz wouldn't lie about a lie... That's stupid. That's like saying "hey guys, I don't want to live! Kill me, please!" If that was the case... I just wouldn't play the game.
- Chaz has another theory, which is probably the closest to the truth... Mafia hears Chaz say "I'm useless, but I'm going to stay active". With a little luck on their part, Chaz sticks his foot in his mouth. As he continues to shove his entire leg into his mouth, mafia (one or more) weigh in (maybe even casting a vote ...Ahem), and watch as the town lynches one of their own. Easy kill, and a great way to lower the moral of the town once again.
For now, I'm going to keep my mouth shut. I've got a few people on my radar right now, and you can bet your ass I'll be watching them. I myself have put the town in jeopardy, due to my very own stupidity. I guess I'm just confrontational IRL, to survive too long in these games (I love a good argument/conspiracy theory). For that, I am sorry. But like I said, I'm going to try and keep my mouth shut for now, let this cool down, and see where I end up. But lynching me, really isn't going to do the town much good.

Chaz, a few questions
1. Why would you tell us that you visited James, especially since he was killed?
2. Who did you visit night 1
3. What info can you give us/hint at us on the 2 people you have visited.

Seriously, Jeff? Are you trying to sniff something out, here? Like maybe my role? You're an intelligent man, boss. You've obviously been keeping track of what I've been saying, and probably already know who and what I am. Therefore, that would be like me saying "Hey Jeff, you mafia?". Sorry, boss... I'm not THAT dumb.
Vote: Jeff
Simple, I know he knows who I am. He's figured it out, as I have dropped one or two clues along the way. And I know that now that he does, I'm probably dead next night phase, if he can't convince you to kill me beforehand.

What sticks about to me about this post versus the other posts against Chaz is that this post screams certainty while others have doubt. Feels like an "invisible hand in the background" type of post. Also, it's been over 24 hours. I know the rules say 48, but if you're reading this Jules, I'm gonna ask for a prod for the inactive members. It's ridiculous how inactive this game is, and I'm nearly done waiting on information from people that probably won't arise. Also, L1, I hate to put you on the spotlight like this, but... Now that the people I expect have posted their opinions on Chaz, I'm gonna ask you to clarify this in the vaguest way possible. No claiming necessary, but a slightly more specific answer would be appreciated. I wasn't going to ask in case more information came up, but now that it hasn't, I'm afraid you're all we've got.

Entrapment Jeff, you're setting me up so you and the mafia can knock me down. If you know the game, you know who I am by now. L1 does, I can almost bet a weeks pay on it! Yeah, I gotta apologise for my lack of activity so far. Had a ridiculous day today then was focusing on my Asillyium arp. Going to dose off in a minute but I'll contribute more tomorrow, I swear to goodness!
Caine is pinging my just now though, he's as Noble said pushed a case with certainty without laying down the vote to back it up. I would assume in the hopes others jump on board and he can hover in the background on it. He was also lurker calling me yesterday when he himself hadn't posted anything or content prior.
Just seems like a lot of scum case building to me, a human man.

You'll probably need to read my post again. I have no info.
That comment is meant to coincide with the theory I put forth yesterday.
If nobody comes forward - then I think what Chaz is saying is true and supports his explanation of him just having bad gameplay this time out.
The only way I could imagine admitting he visited someone who died is
A) He is scum and knew he was being watched
OR
B) He's a townie playing paranoid and legitimately thought someone was trying to frame him.
As of now, I'm pretty sure everyone but Envi has checked in. So, I'm leaning strongly towards B.

Seriously i'm not trying to draw heat on myself and i'm not the one saying he visited a guy who was killed not by a MOD KILL. Thesoul he's too suspicious on account and the fact he votes Jeff when he's getting closer to the truth solidifies my theory. Why did I hold off on my vote because I wasn't too sure before. Now I know that he's SCUM this guy's a bad liar seriously. He has been covering his tracks with bad replies time after time. Also notice how Chaz wants L-1 to be his translator after purposely acting like he knows truly what he was talking about. You got so caught up in your lie that you said lynch me i don't care. The fact you were so defensive towards Jeff and voted his name is good enough reason for me. And to Atken i'm just trying to find scum just as you are. But you haven't been here really. I've been more active as you and notice he shows up when i'm ridiculing Chaz for being a lying peice of SCUM.

No... They could have. What we're banking on, is them not framing me, and it being coincidence. If they were to be able to see what I did, and then act upon it THE SAME NIGHT, that would be overpowered. So we're banking on it being sheer coincidence.
I've made myself out to look completely guilty in this game. To be honest, I've played this so many times, I should already be a vet... But like I said, confrontation and conspiracy really get my gears grinding (and no, before anyone asks me later, I don't think 9/11 was an inside job! People ALWAYS ask me that dumb question! lol). I seem to find myself jumping on the first person to question me, and it always makes me look jumpy. What can I say, I'm a hot head. I'm just chalking this one up as another lesson learned. Regardless of whether I live or die, this is just another one of those "use it next time" games. I'll get it eventually.
