As much good as it does me, I wasn't lying when I said TJ was correct upon outing my character, though I'm pretty certain I'm getting lynched now as no matter what I say people will go with Kris here.

Apologies for the absence. A friend had some tickets for the cricket, so I've been preoccupied for two days. Firstly, I didn't get any info. Due to the above I didn't send in my investigation target. Sorry. We're at that stage now where we've got to try and use process of elimination. On that note I will comment further in due course, but before I do I have a question. What does this mean? I'm sensing one to one so I'm comfortable with following Kris. Vote: ManicI'm not being narky here, I just don't understand what you mean by 'I'm sensing one to one'. Could you explain? Thanks.

Likely it's going to be a toss up between myself and Kris; i.e. it's her trying to convince the majority against myself and vice-versa.
Though I've readily accepted that the majority will follow Kris despite my character and pretty much my role already being revealed on page 12.

One to one is essentially, your word against theirs like Manic's suggesting. Usually it's used to denote we'll lynch the person she's accusing - knowing full well that if she's lying, she's going to be lynched the next day phase.

I will have my say in the morning because it's late here and I feel too tired from all the sun, booze and depression of watching England's cricket team take a pasting off South Africa for two days. Also, I'd like to hear what Soul has by way of explaining that vote, because that may change a few things.

First things first. I made a mistake while at work:
Unvote: AC Smith F.o.S: AC Smith
Due to his reaction that, again, a townie took out a townie, and it was very nonchalant,"Oh it's ok that we lost our roleblocker, we took out a vanilla third party!" I mean sure, we didn't know if he was vanilla or not. I think the last thing I had copied on my iPhone was Vote: thinking it was f.o.s.
Any ways, I meant to put this in the morning before I left for work.
Now, I know this is gonna sound like a reach, but I'm gonna take it, but what if Jules is scum? I mean, no night kill last night and he hasn't been home for two days, the only problem is he was around the night before and there wasn't a kill so I think I just talked myself outta of that reasoning.
THIS JUST IN!
MY SPLITS HAVE BEEN WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME! I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER TO BE WRONG!
I've been saying that the mafia has two people, I was wrong. The last remaining member of the scum is Lawson.
In the write up, there are 5 townies written in, Sergio, Biff, PE1, Walleye, and Luc. One character was left out, Madam X. When Luc died, that left four members of the town, which means the split is 4/1/1. And if my theory is correct, that's why the scum haven't been making kills because the last member is a recruited player. Unless someone knows more on this and can tell me if a vanilla member of the mafia can make the call on a kill, I feel as if I'm on the right lines of thinking. And if I am, then this town on town voting is exactly how they'll win.
I don't know about you, but here's my thinking, if you're Blade, the GF, and you get stuck with Goodburn, who gets modkilled on the first day, and Bacon, who is a terrible player, and you're told you can recruit someone, who do you recruit?

If you're still interested; yes TJ I did use my role on someone; myself (selfish bastard that I am). Thought my power-role claiming and whatnot might make me a prime target and bring the attention onto myself, so that may explain the lack of a kill, but I would have thought that would have been reflected in the write-up (of course that's not guaranteed), which brings me onto your suggestion, the last member of the Mafia was recruited and as such becomes vanilla. That potentially brings a stand-still to the game (in theory we could just not bother voting and reach a never-ending stalemate).
I'm sticking with my vote on Kris in hope that someone will actually believe me when I say that I'm town and we can actually win this with a couple good lynches.

I don't know about you, but here's my thinking, if you're Blade, the GF, and you get stuck with Goodburn, who gets modkilled on the first day, and Bacon, who is a terrible player, and you're told you can recruit someone, who do you recruit? The problem with this strategy is that it is going to based on subjective meta-reasoning, not evidence we have within the game. Each of us could come out with our own subjective point of view on who would be a good recruit and every one us would be self-justified. I think we need to try and apply an argument from elimination based on what we know about this this game. Here are the players A.C. Smith Metro Soul Chaz Kris Manic Farq A.C. Smith I am 99% certain is clear based on my info (the 1% doubt is due to the wording of my PM), plus he set-up the C.J. lynch. At this stage I'm not sure what he would gain from throwing his buddy under the bus in that way, it wasn't so much supporting a lynch as instigating it. Metro, there is still a question mark over him, but unfortunately I wasn't able to corroborate that. The question you may ask is whether the 'inconclusive' was due to him being scum, or some other factor. I'm inclined towards Metro being third party, so for this day phase at least we can put him on the backburner. Chaz, he's been quiet for much of the game and hasn't really offered very much other than votes. He's had a few bad games, so he could just be a townie laying low, but he could be scum doing the same. Not sure what his activity has been like, but this could explain two nights without night-kills. However, I'm not making an accusation here. Honestly, I have no strong read on Chaz either pro-town or anti-town; he's just been a name in the game so far. Soul, that last post and the odd FOS on A.C. aside, I think he's town, his play has certainly been inclined towards pro-town. That leaves Kris and Manic, which seems to be our choice today. Both seem to have been responsible for killing townies, but it seems for different reasons. Both argue the write-up supports they are town. Now here's the thing, Kris' vote on Manic seems to be reliant on that mystery list - but nobody seems to be questioning the reliability of the list. I mean, it hasn't exactly given us gold so far, right? Also, Kris seems to be implying that the write-up clears her but it doesn't Manic, which is completely inconsistent. So, all of that considered. fos: Kris

Funnily enough I was wondering if the list was giving us false information as I was pretty sure Kris was town prior to it, but that could be down to my own inexperience or Kris being really good at covering herself.

The possibility of the list being useless was... not something I had taken into account, or even thought of at all. Reading back over the past couple of days, though? That's what the case appears to be, seeing as how Raab came up town, and I'm town-- although I'm out of shots, much to my disappointment-- and the results do clear you, ManiC. That being said...
Unvote: ManiC
Not sure if putting the name is needed or not, but there you have it.
Anyway, that out of the way... where is your suspicion on AC Smith coming from, TJ? Furthermore, unless Metro missed what I missed when I literally lack investigative powers and just drew off of the process of elimination... why did he follow me so quickly? It's entirely possible that he was trying to help get a bandwagon going on me since he would've remembered ManiC being cleared-- and since I started it, it'd be easy to point fingers at me and get an easy lynch there.
F.o.S; Captain Metro
As per usual, I welcome any and all attempts to defend oneself.

EBWOP: To further elaborate, TJ... were I a recruiting mafia member? I'd go for Jules, not A.C. since Jules is a proven solid player, whereas A.C. is not. Do you have anything more to back up your F.o.S.?

Kris, my F.o.S has nothing to do with that theory, it has to do with the fact he acted so carefree that we lost our roleblocker. Which, now that the way it looks, won't matter. It also was, while I was at work, i had read over some of the previous write-ups and found that no one followed The Player or watched Natatsha Night 1, but on Night 2, when AC claimed to be roleblocke, Natasha aka CJ was with Lawson, the recruited scum member who was recruited by the character who happens to be the roleblocker for the mafia. But after I read over the night results there after and with Raab being a roadblocker as well, as I was doubled the night before last, his story pans out. And, Kris, we've already fingered Metro as the other third party to which he hasn't defended against so the F.o.S is practically overkill. I unvoted CJ, mainly because I was getting an iffy feeling about a few people who were leading the lynch. Plain and Simple. Here's what I get from this statement, with knowledge that CJ was third party but no knowledge of if his "no threat" claim was true, you decided to TRUST in the third party member rather than a townie with info on a non-townie.

@ Kris - I mentioned exactly why I followed you. I'm acting under the assumption that the list Danny provided contains exactly one scum player. It obviously wasn't Raab, meaning it comes down to you or Manic. At that point I'm going off my gut and I feel you are more likely to be town than ManiC at 1:1. SAVANNAH - Likely can't corroborate tonight given the way my role works and it'll be tough for me now that CJ's gone to confirm whether it was my role that gave you the result you got, or whether someone (Madame X?) screwed with my role (which would also potentially explain why you got an inconclusive result). Also, if we're going to consider that the list Danny provided is wrong - the first person I'd look at is AC. In all honesty he should've been dead night two as opposed to Terry (given that Blade outted him as third party leader and was an easy lynch - while AC was pretty well out as some form of watcher) but he managed to survive (though I can't discredit the fact that Bacon was the Hitman and let's be honest he's terrible). If AC is Lawson, he was still a townie night one so would have had a chance to use his role ... if he had got something on CJ he could have saved it - or needed something someone else said to put it together. There's a lot of conjecture but that would be the first place I'd look.

I didn't like the vibe from her vote on Manic, hence the fos, and her subsequent post is bit flippant with that 'I didn't consider the list was wrong' line. Her attempt to bandwagon Manic feels to me like someone who tried to get in the first strike and hope the town went along with her.

EBWOP: To further elaborate, TJ... were I a recruiting mafia member? I'd go for Jules, not A.C. since Jules is a proven solid player, whereas A.C. is not. Gee. Thanks. To be honest, I was wondering why Kris was getting some support leading the ManiC lynch. It wasn't enough to actively call her out, but it was sort of strange. Farq is right in that we need to do something sooner rather than later. Honestly, I haven't gotten scum vibes from ManiC this game. Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with how he plays, but TJ is defending him, and TJ's been playing this game with what appears to be 100% town motives (even if he's dead wrong with suspecting me of being scum!). Given that we're pretty much down to the list thrown out earlier in the game, I need to go with my gut. And though I don't have any hard evidence, my gut says ManiC is town. VOTE: Kris

My initial unvote reaction, stemmed from a suspicion of TJ, that I'll admit. Also, I don't, and haven't trusted Kris the entire game. I didn't realize the vote count had already reached it's max, so I tried to back out before anything stupid happened.
The more I read, the more I really don't trust Kris. Personally, I don't trust TJ, either. But his theory makes a lot more sense, and I'm leaning more towards siding with him (and I hate to say that). Therefore, you're right Jules. We need to get this show on the road.

On the cracked dry desert ground of the Australian bad lands we see four men stood around their bikes chatting amongst themselves. Who would they be? Some of the few remaining street racer originals left in the group. Biff, Walleye, Sergio and Lawson Biff: Yeesh, we sure are short on numbers. Lawson: Ain't that the truth? Sergio: Things have been different since that Madame X chica showed up racing. It's like she's been scaring people away when she races and- The sound of a revving engine distracts the boys. All heads turn to face the source and see the woman that no less than four hours ago was kicked out of the group for being a violent sociopath, Public Enemy No.1.. Public Enemy No.1.: Miss me boys? Biff: Like a hole in the head. Where'd you get your new rice rocket? Public Enemy No.1.: One of you gentlemen very kindly offered to fix it for me. Means I can tear some more flesh and get some extra cash before we finish the season. All eyes in the group turn to Sergio who starts to panic knowing hwat's about to happen. Sergio: Why're you all looking at me? Walleye: If she's back in mate... then you're out. Sergio: Wait-wha- *CRACKAKTATKTKLKL*Biff jams Walleye's cattle prod right into the small of Sergio's back sending a huge dose of voltage straight through his body. Sergio flies to the floor with a heavy thud, twitching and shuddering as smoke spills out of his ears while Biff looks pleased with himself. Biff: Australia is awesome. Let's go hit the tracks. Enemy, if you start acting up like you used to on that track then we won't hesitate to throw you out again. Capiche? Public Enemy No.1.: Who, me? She fluttered her eyelashes sweetly for a moment only to roll her eyes in disgust as she threw a leg over the bike and got ready to rash. Bikes started disappearing as Sergio was left on the floor to drown in his own drool. WRECKED: Chaz Dillinger, Sergio, Town 1-Shot Ressurector for Mislynches- Meanwhile in the shed where Lawson's been left a stash of police equipment by Interpol, he suddenly finds himself being rammed up against the wall by the masked monster Scab Boy who's definitely not pleased to see him. Lawson: Chill out, Scab Boy! Yeesh! Scab Boy: That is NOT my name. Scab Boy slams him against the wall forcefully by the neck of his blazer jacket, knocking an empty paint tin off the shed in the process. Lawson: Whatever, what's your problem?! Scab Boy: YOU were the one who ratted us Lawson. Y'know how I know? I can smell the stench of bacon all over you. Prepare to be deep-fried... As Scab Boy goes to pull a knife out of his boot... BANG! There's a bright flash of a muzzle and a wheezing groaning. Scab Boy stares down at his stomach to see a hole where it used to be, Lawson with a silenced pistol having done what was necessary to protect his own life. Lawson: I'm sorry Scab... It's better this way. Lawson set Scab Boy's heavy body down onto the ground and threw a tarpaulin to cover up the corpse before making his way out to race. And lo do I return from the dead! I'm not going to be unreasonable and eat your eyes, or anything like that. It's a shame, though, that Chaz had to die to bring me back. Better make this one count, ne?
Anyway, with so few of us left, we really need to batten down the hatches and get this figured out. I've got a couple of questions to that end.
1) Are we going to go with TJ's deductions of AC being suspicious?
2) Now that I know the mirror effect of my power... would it stand to reason that the town doctor would be able to kill on even-numbered nights with a limited number of shots he could use? Is Lawson a two-shot-only deal like mine? That would explain why he's not killed every night, if you think about it-- he'd want to save his shots.

I went with my gut and it was wrong. But just to be clear, I still don't forgive you for saying I'm not a strong player! Anyway, if you're going with TJ and thinking I'm suspicious, you're making a mistake. Farq bears out that I'm town, and with only one scum player left, he wouldn't be covering a scum buddy's rear end in doing so. Finally, a question. Are we still going to go off that list, or have we determined it was a red herring? At any rate, ManiC is the only name left on it we haven't lynched yet.
