Anyone ever stop to think that this little spat between Jeff and Branden could be a decoy? UNvote: Kurt Noble I've been saying it for awhile now. It's all a BS distraction, nothing more, nothing less.

So you're saying we're scum trying to distract the town?

Even if he hasn't declared deadline, we need like 7 votes for someone? And the majority of the more active seem to be not throwing a vote on the two main targets. I'd say, at this point, we wait till the night and see if people with some night actions can find anything for us to work off of.

Deadline. Sorry for the delay, I knew there was going to be a no lynch, so I wasn't exactly in a hurry here!

Thursday Night Overdrive returns from commercial with Sally Talfourd seated in a chair squarely in the middle of the ring, as she obnoxiously plays with her nails in-front of an angry crowd. She pulls out a pocket mirror and begins to pout her lips as she fixes her hair and looks good for the camera.
Harvey: This is ridiculous, Chase! We're waiting for our main-event to get underway, but instead Sally Talfourd has decided to sit in the ring instead!
Chase: I was really looking forward to this match. What the hell is Sally's problem!?
The boos grow louder and Sally Talfourd finally sighs and decides to address the crowd on her own footing.
Sally: I know all you -people- wanted your moneys worth tonight and so I am going to give it to you! I know you fine ladies and gentlemen don't want to watch two toothless red necks attack each-other with steel chairs until they're beaten and bloodied, tonight. You want to hear, see and feel me. Unfortunately, that last part would -never- happen with you people, gross!
Sally Talfourd flips her hair backwards in a display of disgust and stands on top of the chair in the center of the ring.
Sally: You people may boo me but your boos don't change a damn thing! I am still Sally Talfourd and I am still in charge! Your boos won't get me out of this ring. Your boos won't make me crawl up by this stupid turnbuckle and cry. Your boos, won't make the cowards in the back walk down this ramp and DO something about this!
Sally Talfourd lowers the microphone slowly as she turns her attention to the ramp. The crowd begins an ''APW chant'' as she stares directly up the ramp, waiting. Waiting for someone's music to hit....
... but nothing ever comes. She laughs.
Sally: And I was right. I am always right! Now all of you, shut the hell up and listen to me because I will explain the future of the APW in great detail...
Sally jumps off the chair and retakes her seat as she folds her legs and leans back like the queen b she is.
Sally: Now, where were we? Oh, yes! There once as a world champion, a former world champion who...
Today ended in a no lynch.
Night actions due Tuesday, 8:00 PM EST. So, get them in! No talking during night phase.

Backstage, Level-One is rallying a handful of APW megastars in a backstage locker room. They all stand before him as he wields a signature steel chair in his hand.
Level-One: I have called you all here because for the past several weeks; Sally Talfourd has ran this show. She's called the shots. She's bullied and manoeuvred her way around this place like she owns it! All the while; WE have sat back and watched it happen solely out of fear...
Level-One spat on the floor in complete and utter disgust.
Level-One: Well, it's about time someone stands up and puts their neck on the line and I am hoping you all aren't the cowards Sally Talfourd proclaims you are; and that you too, find the courage within your hearts to stand by me and oppose Sally Talfourd and her Tyranny.
Level-One raises a single arm in the air holding the steel chair high above his head. Several APW superstars look around shrugging their shoulders before turning their backs and walking out on the former APW world champion.
Level-One: Fucking cowards! You spineless fucks! Don't you walk away from me, you bastards!
Level-One slams the steel chair down in anger as he see's two figures who have decided to stick around and aide his cause.
Level-One: What the hell do you guys want? You're the last ones I'd expect to stick around and not run off the like the rest of the fodder around here.
Nathaniel Havok grins ear to ear as he reaches down and picks up the steel chair. He looks at the steel chair while Biggs wraps his arm around Level-One.
Biggs: Come on, Lester! You really think we enjoy what Sally Talfourd has done to the APW? I don't like it anymore then you do.
...
SMASH!
Nathaniel Havok nailed Level-One in the back of the head with the steel chair knocking him to the floor. As Nathaniel Havok begins to do a number on Level-One stomping, kicking and punching the former champion.
In a daze Level-One looks up at Biggs who slowly walks over to him with the steel chair in hand before dashing the edge of the steel chair into Level-One's throat. A fatal blow.
Chase: This is disgusting! They just took out Level-One! I can't believe this!
Dead day one: Level-One- JamesV- Vengeful face.
With 13 alive it takes 7 votes to lynch.
Saturday 9:00 PM EST is the deadline for day 2.

Who are the people that were distracting us?

I'll tell you what happened. The Mafia saw that James voted for me. The Mafia knows that I'm not Mafia, so they plan to plant suspicion towards me, to have the towns folk lynch a townie, what we need to find is someone that James was defending. Either Jeff or Branden Harvey.

If anything, right now we need to go after people who aren't talking and being quiet. Off the top of my head, the person I notice the most is Pence.
But lets wait and see if anyone had any night actions that can help us

I suspect Jeff less now, due to the fallout from the night. People with roles better start unloading their info soon, if we're going to get anything done this round.
As an earlier post said, I am suspect on Pence. That Jeff is too is helpful to me in as much as Jeff will have his own reasons as well.

I have a question about james' role. Shouldn't he have taken out a skummer, considering he was a vengeful townie? Or would he have just taken out the person who hammered hook if he was lynched? Would have ben nice if he took out the scum who killed him.

FYI, James actually defended me of not being scum, why the hell would I kill him Could be that him claiming you and Branden were town gave one of you the cover to vote him so you could use that as your defense. Who knows? He only ever voted for ASP, claiming he was the blending scummer, so the kill could be an effort to frame ASP as a scum. Though, I've kind of got my eye on Blade. Though I don't know if it holds any water. He's typically hit or miss at being active (he only ever posted once last day) and the deadline for night actions was extended an extra day because people hadn't sent anything in. Just throwing it out there since nothing else stands out to me at the moment.

Jeff, you always say we need to vote the inactives. The problem with that is it never gets the town the win. 90% of the time, the inactives are just lazy townies.

Inactives aren't helping us, They aren't voting, they aren't giving any info, so lets get rid of them because the Mafia won't.
But CJ did make a good point about the Night Action deadline extension. My guess is the Mafia Godfather was late in sending in the kill

Yeah because the whole whack-a-mole thing worked so well last time, right? How many towns do we kill before we find the scum if we decide to start lynching everyone who seems to be a tad bit quiet? Just because people are quiet doesn't mean they aren't there, it just means they have nothing to add, or nothing to subtract from the conversation. But, yeah...lets go ahead and start throwing out random votes? I mean it always seems to work right? Or, maybe we could actually use our common sense and begin to deduce things like we are suppose to.
So, let me go ahead and deduce something right now...This was a set-up, pure, and simple. There is no way in hell that ASP is a scum because to be quite honest, him being a scum makes zero sense because this whole thing would be too obvious in my opinion. So, who do we go after, and why do we go after them? We really gained no information from this killing and that is a bad thing...it was senseless set-up that fell short of its' potential, but could also very well be a set-up for Jeff and Harvey as the obligatory scum. Sorry, but that in itself is also a stretch. Yes, Jeff is accusing the afk's of being scum, but at least he has some sort of reason to his madness, but Harvey continues to vote Jeff...for what reason, well he has not given us any clues. So, what do we do? Well, the wait, and see approach failed...the whack-a-mole approach is not going to work because it never works...and two fail set-ups in a row gives us zero to nothing to go on...save maybe Nathaniel? Anyway, discuss.

Allow me to clarify that the reason the deadline was extended was because I only received ONE night action within 24 hours. Who that night action belonged to; I dunno.

Post by C.J. Gates on Sept 22, 2011 13:04:20 GMT -4
That's the thing Pence, all we can go on is how people act and night action results. But no one has come out with any results (given it is only night one). In that sense I can see why inactives would hurt us, because they wouldn't be using their possible power roles to help us nail scum to the wall. Is this a set-up? Very well could be. ASP is new to the game, I believe, so I wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt of it being too obvious.
I will say this though. You seemed very...I want to say agitated. I'd lean towards defensive considering Sally had threw your name out, though I can't say with any certainty. But until someone has results from a night action, we can only go on what people say to try and nail scum.
As for the extended deadline...it could have been the Godfather's kill, which I am betting on. As to who that kill belongs to, well, that's up in the air. I've got my eye on Blade since he's always hit or miss on being online, so he very well could have missed the deadline.
But I'm not going to lay a vote yet. I'm hoping someone might have some information that could help us.
