Thursday Night Overdrive returns from commerical break as Pence Weatherlight is in the process of making his way to the ring. He slaps severals fans hands as he marches down the ramp and towards the announce table retreiving a microphone from ringside. Pence rolls under the bottom rope and takes center stage.

Pence Weatherlight: I'm going to cut the introductions bullshit and get straight to the point here! Sally Talfourd and her two favourite butt pirates have been running around here beating people up and imposing their will or therelackof on several top APW stars, I will no longer have an opportunity at defeating in the near future.

Pence Weatherlight pauses for a second.

Pence Weatherlight: Take Level-One for example! Due to Sally Talfourds PMS mishap and Biggs inability to fight like a man coupled by an anti social moron in Nathaniel Havok; all amounted to them taking out Level-One! Usually, I'd be happy to see him get what he had coming to him... but now I can't exact my revenge. I can't beat Level-One, again—because his body won't let me! I don't like this one bit. It's not fair!

Pence Weatherlight growls into the microphone as he points up the ramp.

Pence Weatherlight: So tonight, I'm going to get my hands on the next big thing. I hearby challenge Sally Talfourd to singles match here tonight!

The crowd cheers.

Pence Weatherlight: This is just not any plain old singles match, though. You see, I'm here to raise the stakes. I'm here to elevate myself back into the main-events and headlines where I belong. And to do so, I need to take Sally Talfourd out for good and save the APW from her tyranny! I am challenging Sally Talfourd for her CAREER! The loser... leaves the APW for good.

The crowd is in shock; as is the announcers. Several seconds later, President Jeff appears onstage with a microphone in hand.

President Jeff: Pence, I can't allow you to do this. It isn't worth the risk.

Pence Weatherlight: You don't have a choice, Jeff. If I don't get this match right here tonight, then you can count me out of the APW all together...

President Jeff sighs.

President Jeff: This is bad mistake, Pence. You're going to regret this.

Pence Weatherlight: I'M THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME, JEFF!

Later that night...

Pence Weatherlight has Sally Talfourd right where he wants her as he sets up for the Heavy Artillery, but Biggs pops up in the apron and clocks Pence Weatherlight with the world title belt in the back of the head and Sally Talfourd hits the make-over!

Harvey: Oh my god! It's over, it's over!

Sally Talfourd calmly lays a foot for the chest of Pence Weatherlight as she begins to file her nails.

Sally Talfourd begins to jump around the ring as if her team just won the superbowl. Nathaniel Havok and Biggs both pick up Pence Weatherlight by both of his arms and holds him up infront of Sally Talfourd like a prisoner in the roman times.

Sally Talfourd with distain makes a sweeping motion with her hand as Nathaniel Havok and Biggs toss Pence Weatherlight up and over the top rope like a peice of trash.

This was their ring now.

Chapter 6: A noble act

In the backstage parking lot; Kurt Noble was making his way to the arena minutes before the live broadcast to make a special announcement to the loyal APW crowd. Holding a cellphone to his ear he approaches the building.

Kurt Noble: Yes, I'm positive my information is correct. I know coming out with his information puts me right on Sally Talfourds hit list but I don't have any other choice. This is groundbreaking. This is exactly what we need. This could save the APW! Can you imagine what they will do for my career?

Kurt Noble listens to the other voice on the celluar phone carefully.

Kurt Noble: As I told you already, I overheard a conversation between Sally Talfourd, Biggs and Nathaniel Havok. They got careless. They explained their ''next big move''; and I'm telling you it isn't anything pretty.

Kurt Noble nods his head up and down.

Kurt Noble: Yes, I understand. The longer I hold onto this information the worst off it gets for me. Look, I'm heading to the arena right now okay? We'll talk later.

Kurt Noble hangs up the phone and looks at his surroundings nervously. He takes a deep breath and shakes off his paranoia.

VROOOM. VROOM. VROOM.

Kurt Noble turns around and see's a black sports car speed towards him. Frozen like a dear caught in the headlines he's nailed by the vehicle as it takes his legs out from under neath him and sends him up over the card. Flying several feet in the air his lifeless body slams against the slab of concrete as the black vehicle speeds off down the parking lot.

Harvey: OH MY GOD! KURT NOBLE HAS JUST BEEN TAKEN OUT!

Chase: This is sick! Someone get help over there right now!

The driver of the car hits reverse on his stick shift and comes speeding backwards in the opposite direction running over Kurt Noble one more time for good measure!

THUD!

Dead day 5 (night): Kurt Noble- Knuckles- Face Cop

With 8 alive it takes 5 votes to lynch.

Deadline for day 6 is 11:59 PM EST Thursday.

Good Lord I need to refine how I play this game. I discussed lynching myself (in character, obviously)!

So...Harvey was town, Knuckles was town, and Jeff's a doublevoter (a town role in every situation I've seen)...so I guess that leaves one last name from that square untouched: Pence. I don't think Harvey had any reason to lie with his info, so...

Seems like an easy one to me. See you guys on the next day phase!

Ok, so that works out well. We lynch Harvey to find if Knuckles is telling the truth and Knuckles gets killed. So where does that leave us?

I'm giving Pence a pass solely because of his claims to be Dr. Matt. There is still a chance he could be scum, but for now I will look past him.

I've had my suspicions of Sally and JC simply for their inactivity, JC especially. I'm going to continue thinking about the night one that was extended because of no one sending in actions. Could have just been a missed PM, but JC has been quiet all game.

If we are to believe Harvey, even though I got no hint from the role associated with him when his death was written up, then one of Pence or Jeff is scum. I'm giving Pence the pass, so that, in my books, would make Jeff scum. I'm hesitant to jump in with this idea though.

Knuckles was going hard for Noble last day and then ends up dead. If we want to believe that Noble is being set up, then I guess we could give him a pass as town. Of course, he might not be town and might be scum trying to act like he's getting set up.

Blade's been hit or miss and COULD fall under the whole missed PM, and he's been kind of gray. He's pushed hard a few lynches, namely, I believe, ASP and Harvey. I'd probably lump him into scum simply because of those pushes.

Kaji, I can't get a read on. Don't know why, but I just can't seem to figure him out, so I have suspicion of him.

Me, well, I'm town, but I'll leave myself on the suspect list.

And I do believe we're at a lynch or lose situation. With 8 of us left (and at least 3 scum), if we lynch a townie and lose one at night, it would be 3-3. I'd usually ask for any night results, but...I don't think we're going to get anything since our cop is dead. So if anyone has any ideas, I think we could all do with hearing them. For now I'm going to go back to the basics I had at the beginning.

Here's where I'm sitting. We lynched Harvey, he came up face. Knuckles died, comes up not insane, for what good that's going to do us now. So now we're in crunch time. I will adopt CJ's method of listing everybody and giving thoughts.

Pence claims to be Dr. Matt, but we don't know if he's telling the truth. If he is a doctor, he certainy dropped the ball last night. If he isn't, then whoever is dropped the ball and now Pence looks pretty shady.

Sally has gotten very quiet very fast, incuding that whole not talking for all of last day phase. Again, JC is also inactive, but JC is consistently inactive; Sally was participating for a while and then promptly stopped. That to me is much more suspicious than consistence in inactivity.

JC...well, see previous paragraph.

Blade is in the same pack as JC. He's not the most active, but he's participated when it counts. He's been misled, perhaps, but if his push on Harvey getting lynched was scummy, then Kurt jumping right on it (I seem to recall the words "spiked off of Branden's face") is just as scummy.

Speaking of Kurt, he has the same trouble as Sally. Active sometimes, very much inactive other times. Now today he comes in and is like "Welp...this one's pretty cut and dry! See you guys later!" after he potentially fucked up Jeff trying to prove his innocence. Lester clarified, which saves Jeff's bacon, but was it really accidental, or is it a ploy?

Jeff has played somewhat shakily, but everyone's convinced that he's town with his double vote, so with proof having come out that he has a double vote, I will let him be.

Me? I understand why it'd be hard to get a read on me, it's because this is only my second game. But I present to the town that I've been active in the thread and trying to find scum. I haven't been too successful, either, but I'd like to think my cases have at least been logical.

Ceej has also been active, so it's hard to peg him for scum, either.

So Ceej's list of potential scum seems to be JC, Blade, and either Kurt or me. Well mine is Kurt, Pence, and either JC or Sally. JC and Kurt overlap on our lists, and as explained in my post and reasons I have held since we started, I find Kurt to be much more suspicious than JC.

One thing I definitely agree with Ceej about is that we have to lynch a mafia person today, because if we don't, we're sitting ducks. But I don't think JC is who we need to look at.

I got kidnapped last day phase and was not allowed to post. Which sucks because I didn't have to work this weekend, but I'm good to go this day phase.

Yeah, I've been inactive - but I have a legit reason. Anyway, the last two that we lost hurt bad. What's bad is that now we have to try and sift through all the info. I, personally, am thinking that it's either Pence or Kurt. But because I won't be able to get access to the net for a few hours (i'm at the airport right now), I'm going to have to lay down a vote on the person who I am most suspect on.

I think my vote was enough for a Lynch, but also want to add, not sure if I believe JC's story about being Kidnapped. We've been playing this game for what, 4 days now, why is someone getting Kidnapped only being revealed now. Shouldn't there have been 3 other people who got kidnapped.

I went back and counted and believe there is a lynch as well, but I just want to throw this out there. In TMarv's Celebrities mafia I was this weird schizophrenic sort of thing, where I had a different role each night. I didn't have control over which role I got to use which night, it just cycled through. I know not all roles with multiple actions at night have the set cycle, but perhaps that is why no one up until now has been kidnapped? I dunno, just a thought. I don't think it really matters; if Pence comes up town, we're basically fucked.

So wait a second...when we have essentially confirmed information from Harvey (who had NO reason to lie) that Pence is scum, proof that Jeff isn't, and are in a *lynch/lose* situation....and Gates votes JC (who we have nothing on minus inactivity), and Kaji votes me?

IF you think Branden is telling the truth, then yes, Pence would be scum. I, for one, don't. Call me stupid, but I can't trust something that Branden throws out randomly on the day he's getting lynched.

True though, if Pence IS the doctor, he fucked up not protecting the cop. Hell, whoever IS the doctor fucked up by not protecting the cop. The lynch is already there, so not like it matters. Though it's telling how we need 5 to lynch, we have 8 left, Pence didn't vote, and Kaji and I voted elsewhere. If this game gets by this night (which if Pence is town it won't), then I'd look at some of those that voted Pence as the likely scum targets IMO.

And that's what leads me to believe that Pence is not scum. Why would a scum member vote his own out? I know I'm not scum, so if Kaji and Pence are, then there's one man who threw a vote on his own.

But the lynch is there. So I guess we'll have to wait and see!

I really don't know what to say...seeing as how Jeff is the scum for sure. His role is simply the godfather...I can tell you that now. Not like the game is going to last after this night. Good game guys, Jeff is Sally and has a double vote. It fits in with the character seeing as how Sally is the "boss".

Chapter 7: Hall of Fame

We head ringside to Thursday Night Overdrive announcers, Harvey & Chase.

Harvey: Last week as you all saw Kurt Noble was taken out by a mysterious car backstage! And while we don't have any definitive proof in regards to who was behind the attack the perpetrators are clear in the minds of the fans, Chase.

Chase: Proof!? Who needs proof when there's a clear cut motive! Sally Talfourd and her goons were behind the attack and it's all but fact, Harvey.

Harvey: Well, the President of APW agrees with you Chase because tonight he has banned Sally Talfourd, Biggs and Nathaniel Havok from the arena after they threatened to ruin tonight's hall of fame ceremony, security is tight around here!

LATER THAT NIGHT

President Jeff is inside the ring alongside his good friend Dr. Matt; several APW stars stand around the ring guarding the hall of fame ceremony. President Jeff hands over an envelope to Dr. Matt allowing him to introduce the next hall of fame inductee...

Dr. Matt: And the newest member of the APW hall of fame is... SALLY TALFOURD?

Immediately the crowd begins to boo louder then ever. A hall of fame video plays in honour of Sally Talfourd showing her run through several top APW stars with cheap shots and behind the back attacks accompanied by her allies. The video ends with Sally Talfourd waving her hand in the air like a beauty pageant contestant.

President Jeff: No, there must be a problem!

Several APW stars grow agitated outside the ring and begin to clench their fists. Seconds later, Sally Talfourd skips out from the back with a microphone in hand to a chorus of boos so loud she could barely hear herself think.

Sally Talfourd: Thank you guys so much! I never in a MILLION years expected to be inducted into the hall of fame especially since I haven't even bothered to reach my peak yet! Oh, my. Who am I kidding? This couldn't have come sooner! It's about freakin' time!

Sally Talfourd smiles as the fans boo.

Sally Talfourd: But really, I couldn't do this without you Dr. Matt. You pulled the strings and you made this happen. And I couldn't thank you more...

President Jeff turns around and looks at Dr. Matt who lifts his hands up in protest.

Dr. Matt: I had nothing to do with this, Jeff.

President Jeff: After all these years Matt? How could you!?

The fans boo even louder as several APW stars begin to pile into the ring and surround both President Jeff and Dr. Matt.

Dr. Matt: You are not going to make me take the fall for this!

Dr. Matt shoves President Jeff. President Jeff shoves back Dr. Matt. Dr. Matt turns around and winds up hitting one of his fellow APW stars across the jaw! This triggers a gang attack by APW aligned mega stars as they begin to beat and stomp on Dr. Matt; seeing him as a defector.

Sally Talfourd: You foolish, men! It was only time before a female would take the reins of this place and finally make it something worth while! Look at you idiots; attacking your own. Destroying yourself. You've made this far too easy for me... your all pathetic.

Sally Talfourd drops the microphone and walks away, as several APW stars now stand around the lifeless body of Dr. Matt.

The APW was near collapse.

Dead day 6 (lynched): Dr. Matt- Pence Weatherlight- Face Doctor

This is now the night. Deadline for night actions is 9:00 PM EST Wensday.
