Kurt, I agree with you. There's probably 3 scum and 1 Serial Killer (or another third party role) of some sort.
Not that this offer much to the discussion. Day one's are always dreadful; just let it end. I beg of you!

It's times like this when a day 1 no lynch looks inevitable that you ask yourself...
"Where is Branden Harvey?"

Deleting any evidence of his existence?

Deleting any evidence of his existence? He was a real person? Anyway, lets look at who usually gets voted for *Branden* gone *Jeff* gone Well that leaves day 1 sucking again. I kinda wish that we could skip this part because I cant remember the last time we actually lynched someone on day 1 here? However, lets get things going. Vote: TmarvReasoning? Sure... Trying to get me to share any information that I may have because I have a target on my back. Why? because I have been confirmed town. Sure, but I know my role, all it does is give people an insight into me being town, and to be honest, that's all it is. Night killing me or lynching me has no effect on the game whatsoever, and I will continue to sit here and scum hunt because that's my weapon of choice. I don't like the info/role fishing, and it may be construed as friendly banter, but I see it as much more of that.

Eh, think what you like. I pretty much info fish in every game I'm in.
THe reason I said "share any info now" was mostly a joke as I figured that the big green nametag was a giant bullseye. It was mostly just joking and the normal messing around that goes with Day 1.
A lynch on me would be a bad thing for the town, as I can offer so much more.

Got my role.
I'm going to try and remember what I know of the actual video game story to see if i can figure out why Blade has already been confirmed.

Actually, there was a copycat to the serial killer. So I'm not sure how that will be worked into this game. Also, the main threat in the game (which would probably end up being our Godfather) was actually integrated into the kids investigating the muders (in our case the town), so Blade's comment about whether being revealed as town is a good thing or a bad thing has me worried...
The fact that Vixen pretty much said that anyone voting Blade has to be considered scum actually made things worse, since she said it as if asking a question she didn't know the answer to.
So, at this point I'm going to:
Vote: Vixen
and
FoS: Blade

Mod Note: This is the confirming part of Blade's role. Yes, he is town. The highlighting of his name in player lists was not, is not, and will continue to not be a mistake. Use this information as you will. jcread what Kaji put. I am town. There is no hidden agenda, there is no FoS I am town

You're right, but you have to see it from our angle. Honestly, who knows what the hell Blade is. It could be a role that says he is town, but actually is a mafia role. So, you jumping to defend him is suspicious.

Pretty Silly if he has confirmed me town for me to turn up scum

So, you jumping to defend him is suspicious. And you ignoring what the mod said about Blade has you right at the top of my suspects list. If Blade isn't town I'm going to be shocked. He could have a variation of the Friendly Neighbor role for all we know.

I mean normally I would urge caution of people being "confirmed" and let their actions speak for themselves but in this case...
Dude was pretty much mod confirmed. Although still, actions should speak for themselves.

Although still, actions should speak for themselves. That means nothing... there are roles all the time that shift. The mod doesn't just come out and say someone is scum/town without attaching a significant twist to the character. Either Blade will be really powerful for us at some point down the road or he'll be a huge roadblock. It's, of course, way to early to tell.

The mod confirmed it. Enough said.

The only thing that has really jumped out at me so far has been the people that have disregarded the fact that the Mod confirmed Blade as town, not just with the colour, but with the follow up. It's not enough for them to get my vote, and aside from them, no one is really sticking out to me.

Alright, guys, I'm going to make the pain of day one end. Write-up to come, but Yarmouth has been prodded twice and given far more than the 24 hour time frame to be active, and despite me posting in the replacement thread that he needs to be replaced (and he has been online since that post, and has seen both prod PMs), he still hasn't seen fit to post in the thread, so he leaves me no choice but to modkill him.
Start thinking about night actions if you've got them, but the clock hasn't started ticking yet. Just remember that if you don't get them in to me by the deadline that will be in my next post, you don't get it for night one.
EDIT: If someone steps in to replace him before I'm done with the write-up, I will let them replace him, hence why I am not posting his role.

While Ryotaro Dojima was meditating on the murders at his home on the outskirts of Inaba, someone else was also contemplating the murders, and more.
"So much death...but there would be so much more without me..."
A bloodshot figure is hunched in front of a television that is turned to a 24-hour news network. His pencil is working furiously as he takes notes, kanji flowing freely from his hand, through the lead of the basic wooden pencil, to the notebook on his table.
However, halfway through a kanji, the doorbell rings and Taro Namatame looks up from the notebook, his bloodshot eyes highlighted by the TV screen. He quickly stashes the notebook beneath his table as he stands up, straightening his wrinkled button-down shirt as best he can as he walks up to the door. "Coming..."
He opens the door and sees Toru Adachi. Namatame furrows his brow, seeming incredibly uneasy all of a sudden, even compared to moments ago.
"Detective Adachi, I haven't seen you since Detective Dojima spoke to me about Mayumi..."
"Yeah, it's been a while, hasn't it?"
Namatame raises an eyebrow. "Is there a particular reason you've come here today?"
"Actually yes, there is."
Adachi saunters into Namatame's house. Namatame tenses up when he comes into his house uninvited, but that's nothing compared to what happens next, as Adachi shoves Namatame up against his television.
"I tire of the game in its current state. People need to start dying."
Namatame tenses up further, his eyes going wide. "What...?"
"How fortunate that it's going to be very foggy for the next several days."
"What are you--wait, no!"
Namatame screamed, but by the time he thought to do so, no one that could help him could hear him. Suddenly, Adachi was the only one standing in the room. Adachi laughs, a vile smirk on his face.
"The stakes just went up. Let's see how they deal with this game when people start dying on their watch."
Adachi chuckles, then he pokes his head back into the TV so he can listen to Namatame's screams of agony.
Dead Day One: Yarmouth -- Taro Namatame -- Hitman
The deadline for night actions is Sunday, January 8th at 7:59 PM EST
Remember, I am being a hardass about night action deadlines. I didn't want to modkill Yarmouth, for reasons that should now be obvious, and that's the only reason I was lax about those deadlines. If I do not get a night action from you until 8:01 PM tomorrow night, it doesn't count, so get them in.

"I'm hungry!"
"Teddie, you're always hungry."
A short, squat little bear thing with a zipper around the disproportionate blue head and stubby arms and legs languishes against the wall of the electronics department of Inaba's sole Junes, much to the chagrin of a tall, lanky teenager with bright orange hair.
"But I'm really hungry, Yosuke!"
"Fine...I'll get you something from the grocery department. Don't go anywhere; there have been thieves around lately, and the last thing we need is for our TV to get stolen."
With that, Yosuke Hanamura walked away briskly. Teddie seemed in better spirits already, standing guard with an expression of firm determination on his costume'd face, occasionally twisting his body back and forth so he can survey the area. Unfortunately, this meant that Adachi could sneak up on him, pistol whip him with his revolver, and shove him into the TV he was so carefully guarding. Before anyone else happened on the scene, Adachi grabbed the TV by the frame and pulled it off the wall.
The expected result happens. The screen shatters into a million pieces with an extremely loud sound. The evil detective makes a quick getaway just before several shoppers, a few stockers, and Yosuke happen upon the scene.
"What happened?"
"I don't know, I told that stupid bear to stay here and watch this aisle while I got him a snack. Where did he go off to anyway?"
"Oh, you know how that mascot of yours is, always wandering off when you least expect it."
Yosuke pinches his nose in annoyance. "Yeah, I know...I guess I'll look for him. You guys find a janitor to clean this up."
As the stockers and customers depart, Yosuke furrows his brow. His anxiety stems from something far greater than the loss of a television.
"Man, our TV got busted. How are we going to get to the TV World safely now?"
In the morning, that was the least of his concerns. Sirens sounded from all over the small town of Inaba as the morning fog thinned. It didn't quite lift, but it increased visibility enough for the police to find Teddie hanging, sans bear suit, from one of the cable telephone poles just outside the parking lot of Junes.
Yosuke gathered his friends early at their special headquarters (the food court) to hash things out. Everyone was upset, some closer to hysterical, but all had the same thought process.
"If someone else gets kidnapped, how can we rescue them?"
And no one had an answer.
