I look at an APW game this way...
If Blade, Gates, T-Marv and Rebel are still alive, then one of them is scum

Well by that logic...
If you're confirmed town, and I know I'm town, and if what T-Marv says means he's town, then that would make Rebel scum. Which would tie into my suspicions of him, if only for his inactivity and timing of posts (and because he always seems to skate by when scum).

I am not saying my logic is sound because Jeff wouldusually fit into that equation. But going off what I know from Other games. If Rebel isnt dead by now, he is scum

I look at an APW game this way... If Blade, Gates, T-Marv and Rebel are still alive, then one of them is scum That's convenient to leave out JC... I've said from the beginning that Blade listed as town doesn't necessarily mean he's strictly town. The fact that he's still alive raises a white flag... wouldn't the scum immediately go after a confirmed town to eliminate him from the game? Especially since Blade has been the most vocal and is easily one of the most experienced here. I have never been involved in a game where someone was labeled as a townie without having some kind of twist to it. Blade has information that he isn't sharing with us. And as the accusations towards me; they are baseless. Go back through previous games and you'll see this is how I've always played Mafia. When I have information to add that will help nail scum, I'll spill it. Until then, I call it like I see it and it was clear from the majority of the players that Alex was acting like scum... so, I highlighted what I thought was funny and cast a vote.

If I had any information, I would share it.
Paraphrasing what I know, I was told.
"You are town, be careful of who rally's around you"
That was it.
My reasoning for this role, is the fact that I had a convo with Kaji about a month ago and we were joking about mafia and I said, Unless I am scum, I hardly last further than night 1.
He painted the target on my back, but there is nothing fishy about my role... I have a vote and thats it

I know that it's really not a big deal, but it's either a double voter or a secret vote....and could it be scum?

I consider that role in this game as town..
However, The people that could be the double voter are tmarv, rebel, farqhaur.
Which is shitting on my original thoughts

Whoo hoo! FINALLY got my net back on. I've tried to sign on here and there from work, but haven't been able to be very active sure to my phone being off. Of course, I don't really have anything to add that can help us right now.
I will say that right now Rebel's mention of me being left off the list has me confused. What was convenient about it?

Nah, I pointed out my formula.
JC I have already listed as being inactive, But apart from that, what do I say??
It does concern me that he has nothing to add, nothing whatsoever..
And the fact he missed a whole day phase, but managed to Rp in that time

As for Blade, I can see why the scum aren't killing him (now anyways). There is so much indecision about it, that leaving him alive is causing us to double back to it and not look anywhere else. Not saying that I'm buying him as town 100%, but it's the only thing we have since there is no other night information being brought forward.

HAve we forgotten about the secret vote? I know that it's really not a big deal, but it's either a double voter or a secret vote....and could it be scum? I feel like the secret vote is actually pretty important. Unless it was a double vote it would be someone that voted for Alex as well and didn't have to explain himself. For all we know that vote could have been Phil Atken JC Jimmy Helmsley Kurt Noble JamesV Just saying that we can't really confirm that none of them were not the voter. So Atken and JC have been laying low. Computer issues or they just forgot apparently. And then Helmsley as far as I know has still not logged on to APW in a few days. Noble could be just pretending he wasn't part of it and had the vote. Or JC or Atken were not as a Away as we thought. I am just saying that if we start to see a trend with the secret voter, I think it's wise to really think about those four. Unless it's a double vote in which case, I don't see how we could figure that out.

Why only those names Aspen? Do you know something about the others that rules them out as the secret/double voter?

I am going by the fact that it's not a Double Vote, if it's a Double vote my suspicions are for not. But those names are the ones that didn't vote for Alex that could have done so secretly.

Ok folks... it's crunch time!
Do we have a real suspect at this point?
It's very unlikely we'll have a lynch at this point but i'd like to look Rebel and Aspen.
Rebel because he's played a very under the radar game and comes in at opertune times to throw his two cents in. Yes, this is how he always plays, but this time I sense something fishy.
Aspen because she's making some outrageous assumptions about the secret vote double vote thing, and there was fishy behavior from day 2 including her jump on the end of the bandwaggon with the wait and see vote.

I'm not getting anything from the write-ups, so I guess just have to rely on good old fashioned gameplay.
The way I see it, it's pointless to pile votes on someone like Jimmy or Atkens at the moment. Jimmy should probably modkilled with his lack of activity, and with Atkens being inconsistent, and "forgetting" he was in the game, I can't see him being the Godfather due to having to send in kills...because that's who I'm looking for. JC also might be on this list, but I won't rule on it yet.
I've cleared Tmarv and Gates from being Godfather, and I don't think Blade is...so coupled with the remaining numbers, that leaves...
- Rebel - Aspen - JC - Farq - Rhonda - Me (because I'm not going to play the "I'm obviously town!" card)
It doesn't surprise me that most of these names were on the list to vote out AC...because with their Hitman dead, they need all the votes they can get, I think. I won't remove any names because of the secret voter.
If a lynch occurs, it needs to be someone from this list, IMO. Something about Rebel isn't sitting right with me after going back and reading his strawman of Alex C's posts that helped lead to his lynch. I hate to say "gut feeling" because it's bad to play that way...but that's how I'm leaning.
But hey, if this kill patterns keeps up...either he, I, CJ, or JC are next, so that might narrow it down.

Deadline for Day Three is Saturday, January 14th at 8:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (or about 8 and a half hours from this post) Mod Note: Aspen, it's already been pointed out to you, but you can't edit your posts. This is the first offense, so you just get this warning, but next time you lose your vote for the day and your night power, if you have one. Also, going through day three, you are correct Kurt, Jimmy should have been prodded by now. Since I noticed it so late in the day, I won't modkill him for not posting in the entire day phase, but I will prod him right after I post this.

Aspen because she's making some outrageous assumptions about the secret vote double vote thing, and there was fishy behavior from day 2 including her jump on the end of the bandwaggon with the wait and see vote. -_- How else can I spell it out for you? There was a vote the other day. Kurt Noble Phil Atken JamesV JC Jimmy Helmsley Alex Castellanos Those were the people that didn't end up voting. Alex would obviously not just kill himself. Helmsley hasn't been active. JamesV died so if it was truly his vote we wouldn't know. Atken/JC haven't been active. Noble has for all intents and purposes shown that he is Town. I am just saying that just because they weren't all on the Bandwagon that voted Alex off doesn't mean that one of them couldn't have been part of it. I don't see what's really outrageous about it? Just pointing out that someone was able to vote for Alex and not have to explain themselves, which to me would be a huge benefit if they were a Mafia member.

You know, since the day is coming to a close, I'm going to roll the dice right now.
Vote: Rebel
We don't have much in the way of night info from anyone, so we're back to square one going off of our gut. I get the feeling that an active, experienced (APW experienced) player is in the mafia at the very least, if not the Godfather. I didn't like Rebels posts when he was voting for Alex, seemed more like he was simply piling on early to maybe get out of suspicion.
Is it a solid theory? No, I'll be the first to say that it's basically weak links that I'm using with my gut and voting. No one else has really jumped up to me (the inactives/quiet ones are still in the mind though, since they could be quite content skating by).

Oh, good... now we're just lynching for the sake of lynching!
Grasping for something when we have nothing is the absolutely worst possible plan at this point. Without having ANY information other than knowing who Kurt listed as not-the-Godfather, we're better served to let those with night actions do some work and make an informed lynch rather than picking a random name out of a hat.
I've defended my vote on Alex already so there isn't any reason to rehash. He acted scummy, others jumped on the bandwagon and turns out we were wrong. If we mess up and lynch another town, we're going to be at a severe disadvantage.

My 2 cents are that 2 out of 3 are scum (Alex Castellanos/Aspen Chaud/Tmarv) And funny how you were the one throwing a wide net of scum but than seemed to forget about the other two you thought were guilty? You have been shooting in the dark the entire time and obviously, you're ready to just jump on the next bandwagon that seems likely to end in a lynch.

My vote is only there on a gut feeling, and the only factor is that the mafia has to either be led by or have an active APW player, which to me, boils down to you, Noble, Blade, Tmarv or JC. And of that list, I've got the bad feeling about you.
We've already lost the watcher and the tracker and only one other person (that I recall) has hinted at a night action. With all of the inactives, it severely limits the number of potential night roles we can gather information from. If someone else can come forward and say that you are 100% without a doubt town (with evidence) then I will gladly take my vote off of you Rebel.

We are slowly running out of time, not sure we are going to have the chance to lynch anyone. I don't think we should just by Lynching for the sake of Lynching but Rebel has been pretty defensive. I am just not sure we are going to have the votes, plus there really isn't anyone obvious because several of the players are currently just not playing. If I had to put my money on anyone it would be tMarv or Rebel, but even then I don't have enough on either to vote.

Noble has for all intents and purposes shown that he is Town. Not sure how you figure this. He said he has cleared Tmarv and Gates as Godfather, without really saying why, and for all we know he can state this because he is the Godfather. I'm not pointing the finger at Noble, but I'm not entirely convinced he is town either. I'm not even convinced Blade is anymore, but there doesn't seem to be anything that casts obvious suspicion on anyone. I haven't said much over the past (RT) day or two, but its because I've been struggling to find very much to contribute, as well as trying to pursue a couple of lines of inquiry. I have nothing concrete but I will share with you a few things that seem odd to me. I've tried to find something in the voting for Alex, nothing is obvious but there is a curious detail in the chronology. Blade posted the first vote against Alex, then Rebel, followed by TMarv, then Aspen, Gates, Rhonda, and myself jumped on the bandwagon. Look at the times. Blade posts first, then Rebel and Tmarv vote at almost the same time, which is a bizarre coincidence if that is all it is. It tells me either that these two are working together, and are scum, or since Tmarv voted so quickly after Rebel (just six minutes) with some vague justification for voting against Alex he got the bandwagon rolling and is scum. So I'm suspicious of both of these, and especially Tmarv. I'm sure this will be dismissed by both of you, but neither of you can deny this is a fishy coincidence. Rhonda's dramatic 'I'm taking everything in before I vote' and then quick vote is a bit bizarre too, especially when the result of all this 'taking everything thing in' was 'I'm voting for Alex because he was suspicious of Blade and the mod confirmed it' - really, that's the result of 'taking it all in'? -Looks fishy. This led to my second line of inquiry, which returns to the subject of Blade as a 'confirmed townie' because 'the mod said so'. Fine, I accepted that at face value. However, then we suddenly get this very defensive behaviour from Blade and one or two other players towards anyone who directed any suspicion towards Blade (i.e. Alex), e.g. Rhonda on day 1, Aspen on Day 1 & Day 2, Rhonda's epiphany, add to this Blade's defensive behaviour. If its that certain your town why so defensive when there was only one player questioning it? On top of this you kind of indirectly role-claimed. The thing is... If I die at night or get lynched, you guys will learn nothing apart from the fact that I am town. I am probably the weakest role here, but the only person that you can GUARANTEE as town You may be telling the truth, or this could be a bold, shrewd scummy bluff. I honestly do not know which right now. I dismissed Alex's Fos myself because of the 'mod confirm', but as it turns out he was town and was the watcher, as he hinted at before the lynch, something in the back of my mind is screaming caution here because that bandwagon got moving real quick after Alex in no uncertain terms said he would be watching Blade during the night phase (had he survived). NB: I was the hammer, so am in no exonerated myself, but hindsight is a harsh tutor. Unfortunately, there is nothing concrete, so this long post is more of a thinking out loud, but it may help to steer somebody else in the right direction - a better mind than my own. I'm not sure about this lynch on Rebel. He is by no means vanilla in my eyes, but there are others who look just as suspicious to me as he does so I'm going to refrain from voting at this point.
