Ah, yeah, a bodyguard role makes sense too as opposed to a doctor. It was just the way that Phelps was saved that made me think doctor. Reading over Callahan's response, I'm still torn on throwing my vote on him right now. Hopefully Blade is able to bring some sort of light to the situation. |

I'm thinking of a way I can get from A to C without going through B if that makes sense. No point in everyone outing themselves, and when I hear from Noble I may be able to help. But it would be good if people came out and said they had something solid or a solid lead, which would make my info more helpful. Like I said, its a tough one to get to |

Is it a safe claim? It's possible. I do agree with Callahan on one thing, though; it's dumb as shit in a game all about cops for there to be only one cop. I suspect there are gonna' be some role cops, actual cops, lie detectors, and probably some variants Kurt just made up on the spot. I don't have proof, of course, but I know someone visited me last night and I didn't die, so I suspect someone was investigating me.
You should probably investigate yourself again tonight, Callahan, if you make it. With all the cop variants, there's bound to be an insane/incompetent cop running around.

Also, I agree with Sally that if Callahan is scum (it's still possible he is), the rest of the mafia were probably giggling like school children in the background, just moving around freely while we all watched him. However, I am hesitant to suspect ONLY the quiet ones. Given how hard we all drilled Callahan, I think we're right back to square one again. EVERYONE is suspect.

No night kill or lynch on day one someone tried to kill cole phelps really wanted him dead with all the fingers pointed at Callahan really made him jumpy and tried to take Cole phelps out before he did some snooping around Vote CallahanNow hang on a second, this for a start makes no sense because if I were scum, how the Hell would I know who Phelps is specifically to target him? This is an accusation for the sake of accusation. That is sending red flags up to me. As for my role? Well, I'm an investigator. Last night I tried to investigate myself for insanity but someone roleblocked me and someone out there knows that they roleblocked me successfully. Either they're a town player who needs to come forward before they see an innocent get lynched or they're scum who's putting a branch in my spokes and setting me up even further. Given that this is LA Noire I wouldn't be surprised to see that there are a few other cops within the setting. To be the only person in a setting like this with investigatory powers would be ridiculous. Did it not occur to someone else with this power to back-check me to see that I'm town? A whole bunch of people are jumping on my ass for the same playstyle of last time and you can bet there's some scum motivation behind this. I'm chiefly looking at T-Marv here as like he said, he "tied the noose around my neck" so to speak. He's been pushing so hard to see my lynch that it's absolutely frightening. He threw his toys out the pram because I wanted to see a Day One lynch (largely to end the Day One phase and to see something that isn't often done in Mafia, a reason that I stand by) and then went straight on the attack and tried to push for one himself. Hello? Uh, hypocrite? As for Level One, I get that you're aggressive but you need to cool it because you're being ridiculously forceful here, you're no T-Marv but you're not far off. I don't think you're scum, but I'm not sure. I think something else you guys are forgetting is that most of you live on the other side of the Pacific to me. You're mistaking my absences (ie, sleeping, going to college, socialising, because, y'know, I have a real life too. I'm not your duly elected wrestling rep all day every day) as being scummy behaviour and "waiting for further instructions" and then when I am on it's usually at times when you guys are in work or school or sleeping. I do try to reply to your accusations but when I'm out a lot and come home to a page of new posts and I'm tired (as my mafia online happenings are usually late at night or early in the morning) I do sometimes miss things and act erratically. So in conclusion, investigate me tonight like someone should've done last night and you'll see I prove to be innocent. Maybe then we can start working on burning out the scumplayers who are trying to force push my lynching to destruction. With that, I'm off to college. Please don't rape me while I'm gone. Well knuckles is on the money there if were character claiming i am cole phelps someone tried to kill me but someone saved me thats why i am keeping the vote the way it is im going to do some more investigating the next night phase but surprisingly not on callahan there is someone else that has been scummy to me but i wont be sure until the next night phase so i will keep you guys updated

However, based on what I have discovered from the old discoveromotron, do not vote Callahan. I repeat, do not vote Callahan.

Night 2 Cole Phelps: We’ve almost got them! The LAPD cop car is in hot pursuit of the car of the gunman. Cole Phelps, Stefan Bekowsky, Rusty Galloway, and Herschel Biggs each have a gun in their hand, and takes turns firing at the car in front. The gunman’s car pulls into a parking garage…but it’s a trap! In front of the gunman’s car are four men with tommy guns! Cole Phelps: Everyone get do- He’s too late! The men open-fire as the cops duck out of the car! They return fire, with Herschel Biggs taking command as he signals for the others to take cover. The cops eventually separate, and begin to surround the gunmen, who realize they’re out-numbered and begin to move away! Biggs signals for the others to cease the chase! Knuckles, I think the mafia recruited last night. Notice how Earle's name went from green to red. I finally have a bit of info. Someone doused me with gasoline last night. I think there may be an arsonist in this game. Might be something to watch for. Speaking of that did anyone get doused night one? If not then the player who doused me with gasoline most likely was blocked night one.

Well, this sucks. Bacon probably had the most powerful townie role and he got himself killed AND we lost a townie to the Mafia as pretty much confirmed by the write up.
& James V newest information about being doused by an arsonist pretty much explains why there was probably no night kills two nights in a row now. This being the first time I've personally heard of the role; this is pretty much was it's all about from the mafia guide.
So, someone was probably doused night one. We can pretty much count 2 people as dead in only a matter of time unless we can snuff out the Arsonist really soon. The town IS being hammered right now.
Also, Callahan still seems like the obvious lynch two days into this unless something proves otherwise.

Okay, so I'll just go ahead and say it. I also have an investigative role. Won't say what, as that'd be role-claiming and bad juju, but in a game like this, I wouldn't be surprised if each and every fucking one of us had at least some measure of investigative capacity.
The reason I bring this up is because I investigated Callahan, because...well, he's the primary suspect in this whole thing still. I got an inconclusive read.
So one of two things is true.
1) I ALSO got roleblocked...
or
2) Callahan's role has some sort of barrier that prevents him from being investigated, perhaps even by himself since he said yesterday that he got a foggy read on his own damn self.
Normally I'd be inclined to say an investigation-shroud or whatever you want to call it would be a mafia role, but in this game? Who the fuck knows?
But that's what I've got. It's a shitty hand, but my cards are on the table.

secondly, theres a reason for my madness. there hasnt been any nite kills cuz the GF has been getting blocked by a certain donkey puncher. as long as they can get some help, im sure they can keep his nite kills from going off. plz understand.
