NIGHT ONE WRITE-UP
We open on an aerial shot of the great city of Cincinnati, Ohio. The whirring of airplane turbines can be heard in the background as we look down on the morning commute.
Voice: "Traffic today is, uh, moderately congested, but no major accidents or slowdowns. This is your WPIG Traffic Reporter live from the Pig's Eye in the Sky, Cincinnati's only traffic aircraft..."
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH
Voice: "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?!"
We suddenly switch to an aircraft that buzzed WPIG's plane, and in the backseat of a two-seated biplane is WKRP's intrepid news reporter Les Nessman.
Les: "This is Les Nessman, WKRP's Fish Eye in the Sky! Reporting that traffic's a snarled mess down there and that we're about to hit a bridge. Aahhhhhh!!!!!"
The plane doesn't hit the bridge, but comes perilously close before rising back up in the air.
Les: "You could have killed us, Buddy! I could have died!"
Pilot: "Wasn't even close!"
-----
We fade to an interior office scene. We see Dr. Bob Halyers, the leader of Clean Up Radio Broadcasting, sitting down with Arthur Carlson, station manager of WKRP. The two had been cordial, as Carlson had given Halyers an audience before hearing various stories about how he'd attacked local businesses who stood up to him and his ultra-conservative ideals. This time, though, his intentions are different.
After Arthur leaves, we see Halyers's cohorts, Wayne R. Coe and Bob "Boogie" Barnett, come into the frame.
Coe: "How did it go, Bob?"
Halyers: "Not well. I fear we have a new target in town."
Barnett: "What do you want to do?"
Halyers: "The same thing we have had to do elsewhere. It's our duty to fight for what we know is right, and to do so by any means necessary."
-----
We fade back into the WKRP studios, where Dr. Johnny Fever is on the phone.
Fever: "I thought Carlson grounded you. Oh he did, did he. Uh huh. You know, Lester, you're lying. No, it doesn't make any difference to me, I just wanted to make note of the fact, that's all."
Andy Travis walks in behind Fever.
Fever: "Yeah Les, gotta go."
Travis: "What's up?"
Fever: "Les is up in the plane again. It's being piloted by some crazy guy named Buddy. Buddy says that unless his old miltary troupe gets a parade today, here, in Cincinnati, he's going to fly the plane around and around in a circle until they run out of gas and crash into the ground."
Silence.
Fever: "You're in charge of getting the bands."
-----
We fade in on Les on the plane, desperately trying to talk Buddy off of the proverbial ledge.
Les: "Can you please turn the engine back on?"
Buddy: "What's the point?"
Les: "Buddy, please! A lot of people are worried about us."
Pause.
Les: "Buddy, could you please turn the engine back on?"
Buddy: "I can't, Les. We're outta gas."
The plane spirals downward, and you can hear the echo of the crash at the radio station in Cincinnati. The staff, huddled around a phone, all knows what's happened, and bows their collective heads in resignation.
Silently, Mr. Carlson moves to Bailey Quarters's desk, and puts a plate on it as she reaches for a tissue.
Mr. Carlson: "These are trying times. Make him proud."
Bailey nods before getting up and rushing out of the room. The camera zooms in, and we see the inscription on the plate for several seconds before we fade to black.

With 11 live players, it takes SIX votes for a lynch.
Day two begins now, and is slated to end on FRIDAY at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time or when enough votes for a lynch have been accumulated.
