EWBOP I really like to see some evidence of where else I'm talking in cos it's only here and not in this QT thing cos I haven't got a clue what that is. Seriously I'm asking questions because I'm trying to play better but now asking questions is playing scummy? So stupid. I'll try and walk you through a few things here, and will also attribute to you why people are getting scum vibes from you: First, you have hardly posted at all in this game ... right up to now. Now, people are wondering why the drastic change in activity. People are wondering "Why did Raab go from hardly posting, hardly saying anything, and having no real opinions to now posting semi-regularly, saying a lot of 'authoritarian' things, and having strong opinions?" An immediate answer to that is that you are anti-town (that is: Mafia or third party) and are panicking because there is a lot of suspicion on you now. Similarly, you might be posting more erratically because a more experienced player (Reaver or KJE) was previously telling you when to post/what to post previously and now that they are dead they cannot tell you what to do and when to do it. Second, a QT is a 'Quick Thread'. It is a website that hosts private forums which are only accessible by possessing the link. The mafia/scum are given one to plot and plan and prepare their game and can talk in it during the day and night. The third party would have been given one as well for the same reasons. Now, given you complete lack of play through some days, some people are wondering why you weren't modkilled (if any day phases went by where you didn't post at all). People think that someone inactive not being modkilled is a sign that they are active in the QT which prevents someone from being modkilled. The mafia and the third party can be active in the QT and not the game thread to avoid being modkilled. Third, asking questions isn't scummy by itself, but questions this late in the game raise red flags. You see, we're trying to figure out who is the anti-town from the suspects that've been narrowed down. We have a very small list of suspects now and we should be talking about that. You are asking questions which distracts us from figuring out who is scum. What is also scummy about asking questions, especially right now, is that you didn't ask any questions for many, many days before now. Seemingly, you didn't have any questions. But now you do? As above, they are distracting. And, as above, a more experienced player may not be around to tell you what to say and when to say. And, as above, your posting now is erratic to the point that it looks like you are panicking because you're being suspected (and if you're guilty) are just posting to try and plant an idea that you are a rookie townie. This is excellent. Good job, Sal.

@gooch - Your best defence, in my eyes right now, is to roleclaim.
I have an idea what you will say, and if it matches it will keep me placated for a while.

Afternoon. We find Tessio, a longtime caporegime in the Corleone family, shopping at a neighborhood market. He picks out several pieces of fruit, but he notices a figure lurking in the shadows, one that reveals himself as Don Emilio Barzini.
Barzini: “Hello, Salvatore.”
Tessio draws his gun, but it’s taken from him by two or three suited men who approach him from behind.
Barzini: “Relax. If I wanted you killed, you’d be dead by now.”
Tessio: “Well…what did you have in mind?”
Barzini comes closer, whispering something into Tessio’s ear.
Tessio: “…you have my attention.”
---
Meanwhile, across town, Kay Adams-Corleone is playing with her kids outside their home. One of them walks closer to the street.
Kay: “Watch out!”
Kay runs to stop her son, and as she does, a large black car comes careening around the nearby corner. The car tries to avoid the mother and child, while Kay has sacrificed everything to save her son.
CRASH!!!
When the smoke clears, we see that Kay and her kids are fine, but that the car has slammed into a tree on the side of the road. Michael runs out of the house, seeing the damage.
Michael: “Is everyone okay?”
Kay is in shock, but nods.
Michael: “Good. Anthony, you can’t play in traffic.”
Anthony: “Sorry.”
Michael: “It’s okay. Come on, your uncles are inside.”
PLAYER LIST
1) Jennings 2) Pepsi 3) SalTal 4) Jules 5) Kash 6) Hades 7) Raab 8) Gooch 9) Chaos Stryke
With nine players alive, it takes FIVE votes for a lynch.
Day six begins NOW, and will end at 12 p.m. Eastern time on TUESDAY, AUGUST 6TH.

Man how I fucked that up on not making a vote on Evan but his post didn't seem scummy at all. I used my night action but my character's name isn't in the write up. Sorry to everyone on not believing Evan being scum as I'm still learning about the game.

Who did you use your night action on?
Stryke is innocent. Scum recruited instead of killed so one of the cleared players isn't clear anymore. I know it snt Stryke so leaning Sally or Jules for the attempted kill that turned into a recruit.
As for voting I'm thinking Pepsi is the way to go.

Who did you target? You can clear them because if they were scum you would be dead. Agreed. thats also a mod isnt it? Im leaning towards the Pepsi lynch as well but I'd like to see if theres anything else we can get to sort of back-up details on Jules. I'm feeling he's either going to be Godfather or close to the top.

You don't get the info. If your night role was successful then the person you targeted is innocent.

So we have a recruited do we? I feel this would have to be a strong player because why else recruit if the player recruited isn't an experienced player? This almost erases everyone's slate clean for a brand new investigation. Gooch was sold on Envi being town, seemed to damn near swear to it. Does this make him the biggest suspect for Mafia now? With a new member of Mafia out there now, we're sitting on a thin layered lake and need to pick right and stay true to what we can know and learn about everyone. I'm kind of leaning towards Gooch right now though..I went for Chaos and now someone is clearing him? Gooch made the most sense the other day and now he seems likely.

Gooch and Pepsi are at the top of my list. As for recruits Sally and Jules are the most likely candidates. Just waiting for Raab to out who she targeted so we can make an informed decision.

Due to evidence that could incriminate me...I'm a town JOAT.
The reason I bring this out now is to explain if anyone saw what I did last night. I used my 1x Night Kill on Chaos last night. It came back as unsuccessful. I wasn't roleblocked. This could mean different things, he could be the bulletproof godfather, a commuter, or the doctor could've protected him, but regardless it didn't show up in the write up at all. I thought that Chaos was scum and went for it. It was a risky play, but I thought worth it and ended up not being anything.
My first night I used a 1x Bulletproof. That's how Level One was able to track me and see that I didn't do anything. I was killed night one in a CRW game a while back and didn't want that to happen again.
I was silenced in day two by Knuckles. I watched Michael Jennings with my 1x Watcher. The 3rd party tried to kill him, but he did not die. I noticed that because...well...he isn't dead. That is why you will see me ask if he is the bulletproof townie. I saw that they unsuccessfully attempted to kill him.
I didn't use an action the next night.
I have a few actions left, but for today, I'm using my day phase 1x Bomb. So, if you want to hammer a vote on me, someone is coming along and you'll kill me and lose a townie (b/c I'm sure the 3rd party or scum aren't dumb enough to drop a hammer).
I have a great night action for tonight and another day action if we get that far.
Past that, I have no information.
I have no idea who would be recruited. Out of everyone left, I think there are benefits to recruit them, I just know that it wasn't me who was recruited.

Gooch and Pepsi are at the top of my list. As for recruits Sally and Jules are the most likely candidates. Just waiting for Raab to out who she targeted so we can make an informed decision. I am just curious how my name is coming up again. I outed my role, it was confirmed and helped in a scum lynch. If the suspicion is that I am 3rd party I can say that I am not. If I was 3rd party I would have been much more eager to jump on the many near mislynches we have had in this game. My name keeps coming up, and I am at a loss as to what more I can do to sway you. As for Gooch's claim, I am a little unsure of the idea of there being 2 town JOAT's. seems like that would be overkill seeing as Pancho was a JOAT as well. I suppose I could see Michael being a JOAT, I have just never seen a game with 2 town JOAT's. I am not an incredibly experienced player so you can correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah it was more about third party. Now as for the night phase the only player I know FOR SURE who wasn't recruited was Stryke. I think Gooch is town as well after his latest post. This leads me to Raab. Still haven't heard who she targeted so I'm waiting on that before voting anyone. We need a scum lynched this day phase and right now we have gone from having a few options to very limited options.

It was a honest mistake guys. Honestly Raab, it seems more like a big slip up. If you just said Kash is town instead of Chaos I could see it, but you made a very matter of fact statement "Jason Kash is town" this is a huge difference than Chaos Stryke is town. The fact you corrected it when James questioned you about Kash being a PGO (nice catch James) is highly suspicious.

Well... I'd compiled a list of possible alignments for everyone based on what our confirmed anti town players have done over the course of this game... but now it's pretty much useless since someone was recruited during the night phase.
Seeing the exchanges with Raab thus far into day 6 leave me quite suspicious. Raab avoided answering a direct question twice, finally gave an answer, then changed the answer after being reminded that the first answer made no sense given other facts. I don't even know how anyone confuses Kash and I anyway, we're nothing alike. Being an honest mistake or a rookie mistake just seems like a stretch when the question was pretty straight forward.
Now to Gooch, I have one simple direct question. Since you've admitted to trying to kill me, I would like to know what convinced you to pull a 'Matt Stone' on a town player?

FOS: Raab Just because that "slip-up" or mistake came out directly suspicious and still looks fishy to me, but I'm not set on a vote for a lynch just yet.
Its beginning to look like whomever is left in 3rd party and mafia are honestly pointing fingers back and forth. so somebody is throwing somebody under the bus. Recruits are becoming a little difficult to narrow out but I have my suspicion on either Gooch or Raab. Simply because Gooch can be used wisely against town with his role and well lets face it thats a pretty damn good move, and Raab well... a wolf can easily hide in sheep's clothing only for so long.
Its time we narrow down the vote options. we need this lynch.
