RULES
1. No quoting PM's at all!
2. Role claiming is NOT allowed! The ONLY exception is sharing INVESTIGATIVE information. This applies to cops, watchers and any other roles that are investigative in nature.
3. No discussing the game outside of the thread unless I have informed you otherwise.
4. I expect you to be active. Days will have a 72 hour deadline or when a lynch is reached.
5. Nights will have a 24 hour deadline, or until all night actions are received. When PMing me a Night Action, please use the subject "Mafia"
6. You are not dead until I confirm it.
6. Once you are dead don't post.
7. At the end of the day phase if a lynch has not been meet then there will be no lynch that day.
8. You have 24 hours to make a post, after 24 hours of no activity you will be sent a prod, if you don't respond to your prod after 24 hours you will be modkilled or replaced.
8. If you go for a full day phase without posting you will be modkilled.
9. No editing your posts and try to avoid triple posting
10. All posts must contain visible letters. You cannot use text that has to be highlight to read, or text so small that it has to be enlarged. Although, coding your messages is allowed.
11. Respect your mod as well as other players. Leave your grudges at the door.
12. In the event of a mod kill the day will end immediately.
13. No voting for someone not in the game.
14. Votes must be in the normal bolded format. ex: Vote: President Jeff
15. It is NOT necessary to unvote before voting again.
16. Town is green; mafia is red

The sun beams down onto the city as people from all walks of life crowd the new york streets. On top of a city building a lone gunman with a snipe rifle strapped to his back walks towards the edge of a building, overlooking a peice of the city below. A block away, a black chevrolet camaro sits parked right on the corner with a figure snorting a line of cocaine. We move further down the street where we see a homeless crack head stumbling on down the street uttering something about government corruption.... and then we find our hero. A man holding hands with his young daughter no older then six outside the local ice cream bar.
''What would you like today?'' The man wearing an ice cream cone hat says with a smile a mile wide across his face as he leans foward.
''Chocolate!'' The little girl yells pointing up at the menu infront of her. The ice cream man looks at her father with a smile.
''That'd be 25 cents, sir...''
''Here'' The man spoke with a heavy accent as he pulled out his wallet handing him whatever he managed to pull out. ''You can keep the change...'' he said with a respectful nod.
He and his daughter made their way down the street on the hot sunny, summer day.
''Daddy... thanks!'' His daughter said with great admmiration for her father. He stopped and dropped down to one single knee as he wiped the ice cream dripping down his daughters hand off with his tie.
''No need to thank me hun, it's just some icecream!'' He said before laughing softly.
''No, daddy...'' She said shaking her head side to side. ''Thank you for taking me here! We never get to go anywhere...''
He stopped dead in his tracks. What she was saying was true. It was rare he ever had anytime to spend with his daughter; more often then not, work called. There was hardly ever a night when he wasn't interrupted in between dinner with an urgent phone call... but he knew that it was worth it. He knew that one day, she'll understand why her daddy was never there... despite how bad he wanted to be.
''You just know that your daddy loves you; don't you ever forget it...''
These were the last words he ever said.
How he died this day, is still unkown beyond the fact that his brains were splattered across the side walk. Some say, he was hit by the sniper on the roof top. Another rumor is, he was shot from a chevrolet camaro that was seen speeding away from the scene seconds after the shooting. And how about the crazy rumor that the killer was actually that ice cream guy; who was really as cold hearted as the ice cream he served...
Perhaps, it's the innoncent bystanders who know the truth?
All that's a fact is that a daughter was left to watch her father die on a hot summer morning in broad day light and nobody was safe... this death alone would spark a war resulting in the blood of half the city.

got my role but keep this in mind that its fri and its not only late but i also have to work at 4am so i wont be back till early afternoon
sometimes i hate the fri nite/sat morning work schedule but its easy so complaining is useless.

So let's not waste this first day while we have it. Let's get some semblance of a discussion going.
Anyone want to theorize about the number of scum in the game? It's definitely either 3 or 4. Statistically, either makes sense. I don't think we've had 4 in a game so far, so not sure if L1 is going to maintain status qou or try and shake up the game with 4.
Thoughts?

Unless things really kick up, I don't think we're going to get enough info to accurately lynch anyone on day one, and if a no lynch fucks us, a mislynch doubly fucks us. I would much rather let the mafia make the mistakes for us to capitalize on.

Branden "believing" that we should lynch day one (aka pushing for a lynch day one), undoubtedly makes him the most suspicious thus far. Going with my gut for right now...

Hm...I'd better Unvote my joke vote on Branden then, because while it is odd for Branden to want to lynch himself, but I agree with Knux that we need more info to lynch him, and I don't want to accidentally be party to a lynch because of a joke vote.

I can't see us all agreeing on a solid day 1 suspect for a lynch with less than 24 hours remaining. It would pretty much have to be a random pick, especially with this having been a rather quiet day phase overall. Not sure it's a good idea in this situation.
And Harvey, I don't think on day 1 we should consider lynching people based on past games. You, Knuckles, and now looks like Pence have been decently active in this topic, while some others haven't.
And I swear at least once a game you suggest that we lynch you. >_>

Good to see there is something worth reading now.
Didn't have time to elaborate earlier on Noble's question as the lines for Mr. Claus tend to be rather lengthy when you go later in the day. Anyway, gonna go with 3 scum. Seems to be a trend in the games here, since there are usually around 10 to 15 players.
Nice of Harvey to admit up front he isn't going to contribute much. But for him to call out Pence and Knuckles for doing the same is odd and something to take note of. Knuckles especially, considering how active he was last game.
Not enough to go on to really vote anyone, so I'll hold off for now. Sucks the day phase is so short.

Branden, why are you suggesting that we lynch you because you suck when, in past games, when you were called out on not helping much, you went on a rageful tear about how you got MVP once in a CWC mafia? I know it's dangerous to bring up past games, but that's a contradiction that I think really bears resolving.
