Branden always pushes for a Day 1 lynch. I don't really see why you think that's so suspicious, Havok. It's pretty normal for him. If Jeff were playing, he would've voted for him too, i bet.

First, let me apologize for my inactivity so far. Works been kicking my ass.
Second, with the day nearly over, it doesn't look like we're going to get a lynch, but that might be for the best so that we don't mislynch. Gives us an opportunity to put our night actions to work and try and nail some for sure scum.

It just seemed to me that Branden was way too eager to go for a lynch. The who dialog between Branden and Kaji in the beginning, still has me a little skeptical. That's just me, though. I'm not for lynching today whatsoever. I was just going off of what seemed suspicious to me from the start.

could it at all be possible that he is a lynchee? in which case he is either going the wrong way with his rants or going the right way looking the most suspicious. Or a Jester hence why I'm not voting for him. It's too suspicious of a move to garner a vote. |

I don't see one either.
Anyways, the day is about over. It kind of seems like we're stuck in the same mindset we were at L1's last Mafia: all eyes are on Harvey.
Just remember guys, we find ourselves in this situation a lot...so let's see if we can learn from any of our mistakes. Clearing Harvey certainly might help us in the long run.

Ettore Coco got that call. The call was from his don. It went like many other calls. Usually ending with a body being dumped over a bridge with a subseqent splash but this time the don had a bit more colorful orders for his man. His don, Anthony Casso requested that this hit in particular would be one that would send a message to the entire city, they waged war upon. Ettore Coco drove up a long dirt road. A large gate kept him out reading, ''Scrapyard'' in big bold red letters. After a few seconds he was let in and continued on in. He was stopped by a local mechanic who peered his head into the open window. ''Hey, what can I help you with today?'' The mechanic asked Ettore Coco who greeted him with a sick smile. ''I need this vehicle crushed and turned into scrap metal...'' Ettore says, the smile never leaving his face. While the mechanic stepped back and admired the vehicle. ''Why in the hell would you want to do that? That's a brand spankin' new Shelby Cobra!'' The mechanic said shaking his head back and forth. ''Listen to me...'' Ettore Coco said sharply. ''You're going to take this car and you're going to smash it to peices, understood?''The mechanic raised and eyebrow and nodded his head up and down as he walked away. Ettore Coco cursed under his breath as he walked around to the back of the vehicle and popped the trunk. Inside the vehicle laid Vincent Gigante with duck tape over his mouth and tape around his wrists. Vincent Gigante struggled but his effort was futile as his life rested in the hands of Ettore Coco.''The boss says that this car means a whole lot to you, Vincent. It's touching, really. Unfortunately, that car lot you raided last week was owned by us...'' Ettore said with a sigh. ''We were willing to call this off if you paid us twice the amount you stole from us but that wasn't good enough for you, was it?'' Ettore Coco spits on the ground as he pistol whips Vincent right across the face. ''We know you visited the Gambinos last night, Vincent. You thought you'd try to intimidate them. Push your weight around. Well, it didn't work on them and it sure as hell won't work on us... because you're there and I'm right here.''Ettore Coco reached up and grabbed the top of the trunk as The Mechanic began to make his way towards the car. ''I hope you enjoy the ride, it's going to be a fun one...''Ettore Coco slammed the trunk shut as he tossed the key to the Mechanic who drove the vechicle off towards the crushing station. Hours later, we see the vechicle being smashed and flattened; several other cars stacked up upon each-other unbeknowst to everyone there that there was a human body still inside.  Ettore Coco later hopped into his own getaway vehicle... a Shelby Cobra. The mechanic was right. It was a beauty and he knew he had to have his own. All in all, a job well done and the message had been sent. The Lucheese Family would crush them all. Across the city...Charlie "Lucky" Luciano of The Genovese Family got the news of Vincent Gigante's unfortunate death. Vincent Giagante was a great solider and this was a great blow to their family. Immediately, he called upon Joseph D. Pistone a trusted mafia men of his to help carry out a hit. The target was a former mafia man who turned his back on the family. ''I need you to take care of him. He knows things that can bring this whole fucking thing down on us! I can't have this...''Little did Charlie Luciano know that Joseph D. Pistone was no mafia man. In fact, he was known to the police as Donnie Brasco. Donnie Brasco promised Charlie Luciano that he'd be taken care of; and he meant it. He would be take care of. ''We got him...'' Donnie Brasco says as he hangs up the phone looking at the investigator sitting across from him. ''You do know what this means, right?'' The investigator asks as Donnie who nods his head up and down. ''Yeah...'' He confesses. ''The mafia goes to hell...''Day one night: Vincent ''Chin'' Giagante; Blade; Roleblocker of the Genovese Family.With 13 alive it takes 8 votes to lynch. Day two has begun. Day 2 will end @ 9:00 PM EST Thursday.

There are multiple mafia families. I should have known this would happen. If this is a world with mafia, there is more than one family...until the families duking it out eliminate each other and only one is left.
At least, that's my read. Either way, I think we can safely conclude that nothing is as it seems.

I'm at a bit of a loss here. . .I went back and walked through the first few posts from the game and nothing points towards Blade being a target. Unless somebody got something through the night, we'll be right back here during the next phase.

woah. How many Mafia are there? So it's town against mafia against mafia? well, the good thing is, scum died during the night. the bad thing is im guessing since we didnt lynch him, the town didnt have a part in it? It wouldnt even make sense that a townie followed him and took his kill instead because he was a roleblocker.
Since blade was starting with Branden yesterday, i guess we can clear him as town, unless they were doing it to cover up a scum alliance.

That write-up confused me a bit. I did get out of it that there are two mafias but the sheer amount of red really befuddled me about making heads or tails about things without reading it three times.

It also kind of seems like he is undercover in one of the mafias, but you still asked if L1 switched the colors? That's kind of confusing, especially when you then came out and role fished. We are at a disadvantage with more than one mafia in the game already. The last thing we need is a cop to make himself a target by outing himself. |

no JC i didnt out myself, all i did was ask a question cuz this game is meant to beat out Noble's game and i believe L-O is on the right track, but its funny how Arcadia finally had something to say cuz u didnt really say much during day 1. maybe u were too busy talking to ur scum buddys somewhere?
i was waiting for a couple of posts to say something but i did some digging and discovered something unique about arcadia, she plays for the other team and needs to go.
Vote Arcadia
clue #1: she was pretty quiet during day 1. now that might not seem like much now, its a start.
clue #2: she clears branden with very little logic to the post she FINALLY got out to us meaning to me that she is clearing him because she knows something we all dont. not to mention her shock when she finds out about another possible mafia family?
clue #3: this may or may not mean much but keep this in mind. out of all the mafia games that has been played thus far, she has ALWAYS been town. would it or would it not make sense that she be given the opportunity to try the dark side?
i also wanna make a random guess that since the speculation of 2 mafia families, is it possible that each family has 2 members of mafia each? that would make 4 and the rest town.

I was quiet during day one because i was busy with a whole bunch of RL crap, same reason i didnt RP for Asylum, which I apologized about on the boards, if you haven't noticed.
Second, i didn't clear Branden at all. I was taking the information we got from the night kill and trying to figure out if it helped us finger another mafia guy. What i said was "I guess since Blade died, that clears Branden as town UNLESS they were using it to cover up an alliance" I don't know how you come up with i cleared him out of that sentence.
And you are right. I've always been town. I'm not playing any differently now either, I'm still looking for scum, I'm still town, and Kaji was scum like what? Three times in a row or something? You jumped on him for the same thing. You can't keep playing that way, because obviously, it doesn't really work out for you. On top of all of that, the last time I was all active on day one, trying to get people to talk and such, I was nearly lynched myself because everyone thought I was rolefishing. It's called learning from my mistakes.
Now, it's day 2 and we have a little info to go off of. I post almost immediately after day 2 starts and you call that FINALLY? I posted that I got my role on day one, and didn't want to get involved in the fingerpointing there after. Look at the timeline from when i got my role. We were already halfway through day one by the time i got a change to read my pm.
I think you are fishing here, and I don't know if it's because you have nothing to go off of and wanted to take a stab at me or if you are mafia and are looking to cut down the numbers. But I'm more active now because it's night time, im not at work and my crazy weekend is over. but the way you jumped and put words in my mouth about clearing branden certainly has you looking suspicious to me. Especially when every single one of us can scroll up and read what i actually wrote, not what you are saying i did.
Oh, and yes, I was surprised there might be two mafia. So were a few others. Why weren't YOU surprised, Knuckles?
